ever had in my life above a pub in Willesden Greene I just tried out a new joke they got nothing and in the silence in the corner audibly heard someone say there used to be a pool table in here [Applause] just a wistful reminder of a happier time it's great to have an Iranian on the bill here now people say you banging on about being an Iranian again it's not banging on about it I'm reminded of it every day and we're literally just yesterday I went into a New York diner because I was attracted by the sign on the door that said we offer the authentic American experience and they wouldn't let me in [Applause] [Applause] and the travel ban is actually even if you have a British passport if you have Iranian heritage they won't let you and I was invited to do the New York Comedy Festival and they didn't give me a work visa I'm not kidding this has just come anyway and the time of heightened terror attack I arrived at JFK this is back you step forward please sir gonna be passport in the passport because because you put your fingers there I said fine and the guy look through my past but he goes excuse me sir are you Iranian I said yes I'm ethnically Iranian but I was born and raised in the UK so technically that makes me Ukrainian welcome to dyn's takes time [Applause] they told me not to talk about grexit but you know I have problems with authority and no but brexit is an amazing thing it's so British I loved the fact that she breaks it to me if we're gonna do it we should next Olympics we should do the brexit hundred metres the Black Sea 100 meters everyone lines up the guy with a starter gun shoots himself in the foot I love the Britishness of brexit with people that breaks it means brexit we've made our decision we're gonna get over it we're gonna move on the southern Britishness is that we've made our decision well we don't know what's gonna happen we've made our decision it could be a disaster we've made our decision we could all die we've made no lies that we heard you know I'm sorry I want to do too many analogies but it's a bit like going to newsagent and asking for a Mars bar and the newsagent gives you a Snickers bar I think oh well I'll eat many analogies it seemed like watching the first two minutes of the Kardashians and then deciding to continue watching [Applause] but your highness 70 is a great age I know when I got 250 like most people who start making noises do you make dammit those noises you know when you drop your phone you just gotta go you know I'll buy another one but 70 it's not like 80 I've got I've got two neighbors or 80 years old I didn't see them all summer and they arrived they came back in September they looked and they got out the car I watched them arrive she went in the house I thought I'd help the old guy with the luggage and I said hey you know great wavy beam he goes our wife was amazing we're on holiday I said where did you go he went no no no they said me could you help me out no I mean what's over that plant that grows on the side of a building I went ivy buddy Ivy ivy where do we go on holiday you're not the hit yet but we respect you your highness because as that film showed you believe in having a respect and reverence for nature and I think that's marvelous at a time where we have to worry about the environment I went to Clarence house to meet his wall Highness they said His Royal Highnesses he's in the green house and I went there and there he was surrounded by the delphiniums and the begonias in the tulips and he was talking to them he was talking it is not a rumor he was actually talking to them and I just felt so humbled to watch him talk and I I just said I don't mean to interrupt and one of the delphinium and said please do for God's sake [Applause] proud to be a princess trust ambassador and in the summer we met again all the ambassador's got to meet His Royal Highness and we're all in the gardens at Clarence House and you can't meet everyone at the same time we little we're putting little groups of people I was little group and I said who these guys I said they're actors I didn't recognize who they were and I I saw some Hollywood a-listers three of them over there and I said who were they they said they're another group of actors I said well I suppose Ben Kingsley has never done the bill you know so I just walked overnight I stood with the Hollywood a-listers oh this way I belong I just did there look they looked at me and then Prince Charles came over and you came he made a beeline for me which meant a lot to me good because yeah he was still doing the comedy I said yes I am he looked together because have you seen his act and they all said we don't even know who he is and I said that is the Prince of Wales baby your highness thank you so much you
