[Music] we play and call it work mini work gaming's warhammer 40k battle report hey there war gamers and welcome to another warhammer 40k battle report today steve and i are going to be playing a long game we accidentally made awful lists and it's just the nature of the beast today i suppose so sit down and enjoy probably i'm going to guess two and a half hours at least but it could be horribly wrong uh we're playing massive amounts of infantry unintentionally today steve is playing the orcs i am playing the demons of nurgle and steve's going with goffs he's got literally only infantry and characters he is what he said 1500 points of troops yep yeah and i'm playing nurgle demons so obviously there's not a whole lot of flexibility in that kind of build i'm playing exclusively demons as well why am i playing neural demons i don't know uh just you know taking a break from the regular you know seeing what cool stuff will be coming out in the future and as you know give nurgle demons another shot i guess so let's go take a look at the armies as two thousand points and sit back relax and enjoy the show i suppose okay two thousand points of orcs actually it's only half grots there's two battalions one battalion all this direction and a couple of weird boys with not wear boys uh big mechs with custom force fields they're gonna be cheeky zoggers see like in water we'll save and then my goths have 30 boys sorry choppas 30 boys uh big sorry shooters with three rockets and a comedy rocket we have 20 more boys with a slug of choppers a knob with power claw and a rocket we got gas cooler makari a war boss with the lucky stick and we have and he's old okay okay look at you guys okay there's no purpose he repairs vehicles why do you have them i have exactly 30 points left over you said he's 30 points okay and these these these boys here are uh a preview of what the oh what's that very true all the weekend i've been painting this so stephen are gonna be doing some second edition battle reports in the upcoming future and he wanted to do out of the box stuff so i was forced to also paint the space range of the box and i'll be doing crimson fists space marines and finally we have a weird boy and a pink boy to round out this two dozen points of yeah it's going to take forever and here we have pretty close to 2000 points of nurgle demons pure nugal demons though i don't think the locus is going to help me at all unless i'm attacking gaz or one of the characters if i roll i believe it's a six to one near character it's double damage or it's like plus one damage on my melee attack one of the two game boys sorry i have pain boys okay that's true it might matter it might just matter now this is one battalion it is going to be led by two great unclean ones and the sloppy bile piper down there and we are of course going to spend a little bit of pregame command points here we are going to make both the great unclean ones exalted greater unclean ones i know the one on the right is a forge role model i'll be using it as a stand-in because well we only have the one great on cleveland for now and it's pretty close to acceptable the one on the right is going to be with the bile sword and is going to have a flail uh hidden in his corpulent mask there somewhere he probably just pulls it out under his belly or from inside of his belly maybe he just uses his intestines up to your imagination the one on the right will have the proper ward gear he's gonna have the bell and the chain or the blue there we go he is going to be the warlord uh just because he's the proper model i guess i don't know don't know why uh for their exalted greater unclean one upgrades i'm not gonna roll because there are about four of them i don't like or there's like three of them i really don't like uh they're both gonna have revoltingly resilient i think in this case it would have been better to have the plus one toughness but you're supposed to do it ideally before you see your opponent's army and this one might be generally better i don't know don't know the math on that i've really only played these guys once since engineer came out so my knowledge is incredibly limited but revoltingly resilient for them adds plus one to their disgustingly resilient role so they're gonna have a four up to ignore wounds and more wounds which is different from the death guard one because they're revoltingly resilient only works against non-moral ones so a little important tidbit of information there and we are going to be taking one of the relics from engine war that is only allowed to go on a greater demon or exalted great unclean i should say it's the el fluvior it is an upgraded plate flail and i took it because it rolls off the tongue and i like it and that's why that is literally the only reason why i took it there's probably better options but i think that's cool and if i'm wrong well i'm sorry playing nerve demons and i only vaguely know what i'm doing so for the spells and the warlord traits well the warlord trait had to look up the name plague fly high negative one hit if you're within seven inches of him uh i did want to take the one where i do more wounds whenever i suffer wounds but i realize that's actually not gonna be that great i thought it was more like the separating play for the death guard wherever i make a save but this one makes that one doesn't make as much sense as it would for the death card anyways we are going to take pig fly hive negative want to hit him for all attacks if you're within seven and then his power is gonna be stream of corruption and fleshy abundance so he'll do more wounds more wounds to bigger units and fleshy abundance just heals the nerve the immunity to d3 wounds and then the spells on this guy over here will be miasma of pestilence as well as a virulent blessing that's what i said right via stream corruption on him and then fleshly abundance yeah virulent blessing over here gives a nervous dvd plus one wound and if i roll a seven plus the wound i believe i double my damage on attacks again not going to be super important because even against gas he only takes four a phase so might not be too effective on him i'm going to try my best to remember those i should be able to remember those well enough i'm usually not too bad with that kind of stuff onto the troops though we have two nurgling units i would have loved to have a third one but we only have two bases left over and kind of missing the third one not too sure where it is or if we even ever had one it's always a mystery here at many warriors we have two squads of 30 plague bears uh they are going to have their full command and excuse the 25 mil bases on the back one there i'm just using that to fill up the unit because oh we only have that many 32 so i'll be playing them as if they were 32s and then an identical squad over here and ignore the extra icons in the playgrid and they're just going to die first they're just there to fill out the unit we have play drones over there they're going to have the musician and the icon obviously they're going to have their play written as well we have three separate units of beast and miracle that's not 183 but that is three units of one and two soul grinders with the swords and obviously mark and nurgle they have disgusting resilient i just i made my list and it was like 1400 points but it had everything in it i wanted i don't i didn't know what to add and i forgot about soul grinders so i thought they were going to be a cool addition to the list and i'd like to see how they perform as we get into this game the mission today is eternal war strike force vital intelligence the deployment map includes six objective markers and the battlefield uses diagonal measurements four objective markers run along the center of the battlefield with the last two running 18 inches from the center of the battlefield in each enemy deployment zone mission special rules include data terminals it states the objective markers in this mission represent data terminals in this mission if you control an objective marker at the end of your command phase it remains under your control unless your opponent controls it at the end of any subsequent phase even if you have no models within range of it the primary objective in this mission is domination which is progressive it states at the end of each player's command phase the player whose turn it is scores five victory points for each of the following conditions they satisfy for a maximum of 15 victory points they control two or more objective markers they control three or more objective markers they control more objective markers than their opponent controls this primary objective cannot be scored in the first battle round the secondary objective in this mission is data intercept which is a progressive action it states each time a unit from your army successfully completes the following action you score a number of victory points equal to the number of objective markers you currently control one unit from your army can start to perform this action at the end of your movement phase if it is within range of an objective marker and no enemy units excluding aircraft are within range of that objective marker the action is completed at the end of your next command phase so long as the unit performing it is still within range of the same objective marker vault members check the link below to see the next game it is going to be my militarum tim pestis use as objectives because well the proper size for a ninth edition and adam at green league terrain custom made all of this rocky terrain from uh for us out of uh what's that a styrofoam it's all styrofoam yeah absolutely right right right that's uh very skilled so check him out agree leave train facebook if you haven't already we are gonna be playing a real fancy mission here we're gonna go ahead and roll off for attacker defender though wow defending over there and i will be attacker over here now we do have one of the larger mats on the field right now so this is actually a six by four map but we're gonna be playing with the minimum uh recommended table size and you'll see that laid out by the rocks and whatnot as we're playing it'll make sense well steve and i finished deploying it was a chore that's for sure so he ended up deploying he started playing first over here and just we have hordes of green against hordes of green so we can see the uh oh the cheeky zoggers that what they're called yes we see all the cheeky zoggers deployed kind of over here we have grotzkratz and grotz up on the rock we have the old second edition orcs and a lot more boys over there kind of surrounding gaza thralka as well as the big mech right in front now you said where's the other big mech uh here oh he's way over there give me another kff and so is the pain boy he's kind of like right there yeah so that's pretty much it for steve's bling he's got more zaggers in the back there uh and for me coming over here i got great unclean one going this direction plague bears plague bears and between them we have the sloppy biopiper a beast of nurgle fit here we put knurlings over here i was thinking about being uh using the mischief makers rule and putting them over here which i'm still in the fence about i think it might have been a little bit better to stick them over here but you never know i did use mischief maker on those knurlings though to try and go for that objective uh the reason i put these guys here is because i expect my play bears to move forward and because of the secondary i took which reminds me neither receiver uh i said where our secondaries are but we'll do that in a second they're gonna act as a a second area to go on that objective as these play bears eventually move forward we have soul grinder soul grinder blow drones beasts and urges beasts and knuckles and lastly this beast inaudible tucked in hidden behind here just at the line of deployment i uh i struggled so i guess for secondary steve so we both took engagement off fronts and we both took the mission secondary which is called uh data intercept each time a unit from the army successfully completes the following action you score a number of victory points equal to the number of objectives you control um so when you need your arm you can form the action in your movements excellent aircraft not a problem for either one of us and uh you complete the action that then your command phase either yes one point very objective you control basically and you so you went for engaging our friends that and moser third one the third one was we have written down over there right i wrote race oh raise the banners raise the bet i wrote raised right so he's gonna go for race you're gonna go for a very objective base game i went with mission secondary as well because i typically i forgot they existed for a second earlier but i always go for the mission secondary just because otherwise the missions are all the same right yeah they're not really that different other than deployment style objective placement i went with i was gonna go for thin their ranks i was going to do it but i don't have any shooting in my close combat's not good so steve convinced me not to do it i'm like okay that's fine that's fair i won't do that i'll go for the mission secondary i'm going to go for assassinate because steve has like eight characters your character's technically yeah so if i can kill at least half of them i'm still getting 12 points but are you gonna get through 180 i know i know i know but i'm gonna try we're gonna try and the last one i took was also engaged on all fronts because well i probably should again reinforce putting their glutes over there but all this guy has to do just and then i'm gonna be getting some engagement on our friends so i should be good in that regard i guess we're just gonna go ahead and roll off four no i just want to give the audience a bit of a caveat i got a five yeah man you got it uh a one now um one point on the fact that i don't discuss discussing this with luca i know we're both going to do this this game okay when you record a bat rap the way we do it takes probably twice as long if not longer to play a game right this could take us forever and a day so we're going to play kind of i know we're going to be kind of sloppy intentionally let's prepare for it it's not gonna be super tight i'm gonna get you like super like when it all costs game i'm gonna run a lot i'm gonna probably also just advance yeah guys i'm gonna focus on the objectives and try and kill what's important yeah same here but it's going to take us forever to play this game so uh bear with us i hope you have a lot of models to paint i'm just going to go first because i don't think it matters too much right so yeah that's command phase huzzah [Music] i'm gonna give me command point uh there's no scoring in the first battle round for domination and we're gonna go ahead and move everything i'm gonna show you did i tell everybody upgraded all my orcs to uh are the scar boys yeah i don't think you did yeah they're all scary boys okay so we have all three of your orc boy units of scar boys that makes him strength five yep okay that's even more shooter boys but whatever i mean they still have like just one less attack right it's still they're all really good and then you also you have a battalion you have two battalions you're down six command points okay and then i did upgrade my greater on clean one so i'm only down to two so i'm at 11 and steve's gonna be at six as we start this off i'm gonna show you where everything's going to end up because everything here is going to advance these guys are going in this direction these plague bears and great on cleveland soul grinders the soul grinders aren't going to advance they're just going to move forward but they're going to everything's going to go forward i don't know where the play drum's going to end up you'll be surprised in a moment voila so advanced advanced i actually didn't end up advancing or advanced him in the peacenork i didn't advance them because i wanted them to do the action on the objective this turn and try and get me some points unfortunately actually no i did i unfortunately i was able to get rid of that objective as long as i remain controlling which i don't think i will but we'll try um move there move there nurglings moved up behind them blow drones soul grinders move forward but didn't advance and then the nerglings and the beasts and ergs all advance forward so i'm on that objective this objective and that objective there these ones eluded me even though i rolled pretty well in my advance again if i had the other knurlings over here might have been a little bit better i don't know we'll see could have been a mistake but and steve suggested putting them in no man's land and then making him go first which would have probably been a good idea too i would not have liked to have dealt with that right because then you you feel like you should charge them then i just counter charge you yeah right maybe that would have been a good call i don't know i could definitely see some merit in that uh we're gonna go into the psychic phase though where we're gonna start with you casting miasma of pestilence and we get it what does that do that's negative on the head ah i'm gonna put it on himself let's say close comment as well yeah i'll try all right yeah no do you get bonuses to your denying your castle okay yeah so yeah he'll put that on himself he's negative and then he's just going to smite if i'm even in range to kill anything i got with the six hit the boys wait which right here that's the groove gretchen all right they're gonna lose one gretchen okay got him boom he's done no point in adding plus one damage and then this great unclean one is going to cast no point in fleshy abundance little smite looking for a six we got it with a seven it's all good or where is it yeah uh from him so probably hit the boys yep d3 dead boy one dead boy i have a ping pong over here pain boy fixes that boy oh boy nice streamer corruption also only only has a seven inch range so there's no point doing that uh shooting attacks on the other hand we got two soul grinders are gonna fire then my turn is done just gonna jump over here and take some shots uh we are gonna fire with i guess we're gonna fire this one first he's gonna put his fumbo barman and his harvester cannon into the boys this is the nearby ones just start whittling them down at some point the harvester cannon automatically gets six shots because they're unit size so we're hitting on fours sorry fun bombardment i mean and we got twos two wounds and you get your kff i kill two boys oh that's right yeah so they both take three oh the first one's dead the second one is dead i killed two whole boys the harvester cannon's got three shots it's like an autocannon misses with everything and now the second one is gonna fire at them as well you know what i'll do the harvester cannon first oh we got two hits these are three spoons because it's ranked seven two one let's do three damage so two oh one more one more dice we're making great strides everyone forest hit with the uh flumbobarm we got three hits always nice to see averages three wounds and uh d3 damage on the one that does go through one pain boy no if i kill one more boy uh that is it for shooting because everything else advanced and does not have shooting attacks you can't fail morale that's what is initial 26 i'll use their own yeah exactly so that is it for my turn uh for sc oh sorry i forgot to mention i don't know if i forgot to mention it but they were gonna do the action for the second i do yeah for the secondary um objective where if i control this objective if i perform this action which completes at the end of my next command phase i get one victory point for every objective i currently hold at that time so that i will hold at that time are you amarillo oh on them all right i lost one last one right you roll seven that's bad do they fail yeah can't you just like crack their skulls uh no how do you crack skulls has to be a war boss okay so uh we're only well we have to roll 18 dice that's not bad oh is that one giant squad yeah oh it's 28 dice i take back what i said it's a little bad but i mean you should only really roll like five one so five markers uh five go okay nevermind uh the rest seven go all right so seven of them end up running away through a smite six seven good job buddy five points a model everyone okay a little overcosted that is uh three was too much four four would have been ideal i think now we're going to go ahead and move on to ork's turn one nah cause i don't really score anything this is more again i gotta kill characters i've got i'll get points maybe do that and i do get engaged that's right that's the other i get two points for engage in our friends i got dudes over there dudes over here just dudes being dudes here we go i give him a point everything's going to run no i guess you can still shoot everything the two things aren't going to run for a couple actions over here but yeah we'll see how he's going to run right all right so everything's going to start here and we're going to show you where it ends up this is kind of it for movement uh however these unions are going to do some actions right one's going to raise the banners and one's going to do the usual secondary on this one here smart okay also to note these guys over here roll the two on there okay so i want them to run this way and charge them right i rolled a two for the vents we rolled into a one it's like where were we shifting yeah so they went back a little bit this is back down to six command points that was the only unfortunate thing that was not caught on camera there uh i'm no i wanted the jump now second face okay um i'm gonna apparel and i did no i didn't if you rolled a seven three four five it just declares that i mean apparel i like it you have to roll like over at 12 and you get plus one for every 10 orcs is that something like that uh that's only 11. so uh i guess i could stop i'll try with this guy over here because he's over there 12 no not even close uh who's getting to jumped the i wanted to send these off your objectives but now i need them to do work for me right yeah okay so they're jumping up i assume they're going to go in the middle somewhere yeah and then from the weird boy they go over here to the nerglings because they're going to have to pick up the slack that those boys that rolled poorly on their advance fail that uh and he's only a level one right you didn't upgrade him your little one yeah all right so what's it shooting time mister oh boy we have a lot of like negative one to hit shots coming up because of the advancing everywhere let's start off with the slugger slug guys how many are in range uh okay so five are they pistol or assault okay do they advance nope okay nice sorry they advanced they're way farther i thought they should be they advanced okay right um doesn't say why don't you just advance if we get guys might as well shoot at the greater clean one he does certainly have a assault weapon so he's already negative one ahead for advancing with it i got me as mine doesn't really matter sixes and uh we got three doctors yeah okay all right and i'm three five five two i'm t7 one wound got a demon that's one right human save resilience we're okay because of the upgrade over here my boys are all gonna fire into this guy here uh i'm gonna do my combi rock after my war boss into them as well okay so three rockets plus two comet rockets all the same they all advance right uh yeah okay because he has he actually has no negative ones to hit on him unless you're within seven so you would be hitting normally sixes no no and 24 shots from the trees here's half of them six is to hit orcs so we got uh let's take seven the first volleyball the seven extra right from the first volley so the first of all these daka dakadaka per seven total and then the second half is going to be six oh six times we need six more shots one more five two seven nice and then we're on five okay not bad not bad at all five up demon save against those seven oh sure i'll make four of those and then he has a four up discussing resilience he takes three he's gonna have 15 wounds remaining i guess you know returns are pretty quick so far yeah throw for these boys here into this whatever he is it's a great unclean one i'm gonna reroll this one guy with here we go wait but i have to you might as well got a total of nine do you get bonuses your charge rolls or just here we go nine makes it is not enough away bring it on in it's not great though oh it's not a good ic it's not the most ideal charge but you do take that objective away from you which is sad all right these boys are gonna go after the swellings okay nine you got it didn't even need it yes very good roll very very good oh boy here we go those four dudes all right bam over there uh any other yeah this guy charging they advance but they're near oh it's right here there's a rocket in there oh i'm going to fire a rocket out there so it missed all right cinnamon how are you here we go this one yeah here we go the six or the one that's a ten that's definitely in so they're also gonna be on the objective now too which is good i mean how much i can do about it so we're going to go into the fight phase i think i'm going to attempt to warp surge well i'm not going to i am going to warp surge those knurlings over there that increases their influence by one after to the start of the face so that's two command points that brings me down to nine how long is best because slow starting in over here how many guys we got attacking uh 10 11 guys one of them is the knob i'm gonna roll them with the regular guys because he's got no special weapons all the same hitting the wound okay cool all right so we're hitting on the threes is negative one to hit because of my warlord training all fours and i'm negative one heck because of the warlord trait the flyborn hive i believe it's called um here's where gospel sixes explode in two a few more hits three more yeah they got death to the false time for against everything that's everything yeah okay so five soon five two and this is where i think the toughness it would've been big for these guys because pretty much all of these weapons are strength four but still no we're straight five oh that's right five wouldn't matter at all yeah okay that's only four five of demon save i fail three make one and then he has a four up discussing resilience and he makes one takes two damage i don't think i'm gonna enter no respect i got i go i mean i respect the orcs for sure but i don't think i need to interrupt anywhere this guy you're fighting over here yeah this guy will also be negative on the hit because of miasma i show the powerful first hitting on fours i guess right twelve and threes two wounds i have a five up demon save which i will fail one and then that's d3 damage yep it's gonna be two which i have four up resilience and i make one fail one butcher four horsepower these guys got choppas that's how they got all the extra attacks and we are playing them on 32 mil bases still sure nine sixes again oh wow nice this is way better you got one more up there three oh sorry five five three still scary like that a much better fourteen wounded hits on this side that is a five up demon save which i will okay i'll make half nice and revoltingly resilient i will i take care too guys six super super crawling over here with the power claw damage i'm gonna go down to 15. cool we're piling into the nergling's now 10 boys attacking all right so uh 40 attacks hitting on are these threes on these guys yeah four sixes goss definitely that's the reason well that's a really good role yikes they have a four up in vulnerable state because of warp surge let's see if it matters i see three-fourths and because it's only one damage each i do get my disgusting resilience that won't count i'll just reroll that and then i am going to i think i can kill them all i think they're dead tell me what's your base i think it's four so even if it's four one yeah they're like dead plus some okay oh it is certainly four so they are all squished got him are you gonna pile into my no i wanna see here all the objectives okay all right well steve charges everything i'm gonna fight back with this great unclean one my warlord into those boys five attacks with his bile sword on twos uh they all hit the one and twos to wound i get to re-roll but uh they go right through your armor and i think they're d6 damage each no there's no paintball nearby so i i i cut up four of them four whole dead boys feels good it feels real good this feels so good and then let's go over here it's gonna do the exact same thing and then ah the other guy's soared they'll hit and choose to kill kills for them as well at least they're consistent i'll get you on my turn and that is going to bring us to the morale phase where all of the boys are good to go you don't have to worry about them too much and you did an excellent job keeping me off the objectives i wasn't i don't have this one that's yours now that one is yours now that one is also yours i do have this one though i'm at least gonna get one point at the end of my next command phase coming up and i'm gonna have to just crush boys you know crush boys is what i do best and then for scoring purposes steve's going to get engaged on all fronts because he's got boys in this corner that quarter in that quarter not this one though so two points we gotta tie a game going about round two not too bad around two in my command phase i'm gonna get a command point going up to and at the end of the command phase for scoring i don't have domination i have to have at least two objectives for that so i'm not gonna be getting that but i do get one point for the secondary because i completed the action and i hold one objective so i'm still up by one point that's all that matters but i got to get steve off of his which is going to be incredibly difficult me thinks we're going to go on to the movement phase though where these guys are going this way moving a grand total of five inches and hopefully with plus one to their charge they can make it into them and then he's like he's please let me know why are you waiting you don't even gotcha you where he's here what about him you know he's that right i do i don't know if you see him okay yeah is that you wander into my mech is that a mech is that that is the mech i gotta watch out for that heroic invention you're one thousand percent correct careful i'm back that's where they're gonna end up you're gonna stay in combat we're gonna reposition all of this and we're gonna show you where it ends up because then these guys are gonna move in that direction as well let me thanks the bell shipped in that direction the beast in there going up and around the play drums are actually just gonna stay still and moving these plague bears in this direction it is a seven inch charge with the plus one modifier uh pre-measuring before i move that's where they end up the nerglings follow up a little bit to get near the objective they're going to be performing the action on it and then we're going to advance the sloppy bile piper we're just going to get him in this direction i'm going to have him go up and over the rocks but i don't think it's important for me for him to be over there i'm actually going to support mostly over here but i would like to have him over here but i can't i only got the one guy and his attention is going to be split and i don't feel like doing a big ugly daisy chain either because neither i nor you or you for fact want to see that so we're going to go ahead and advance him three he's going to go right into there now we're at the end of the movement phase i am going to pop a stratagem called the thing revolting regeneration i pick an urban demon unit at the end of the movie phase it heals d3 wounds or if it doesn't have any moves allocated to it it's a unit i get to bring a model back with one wound in this case we're gonna heal the great unclean one one wound eh it's some he goes up to yeah is this one here he goes up to fourteen wounds remaining cause he kind of got beat up and then these knurlings are going to perform oh they're a swarm i don't know if i can do the action with the sword i might have to do with them okay so there's anything but aircraft so that's right because we just even edited the drop pod game with a drop pod that's right i'm whacking it with my wing door there we go all right so the nerglings are going to do the action and i guess we're going to go into shooting where these guys flails all act as um shooting attacks but kind of like pistols they have the pistol rule built into their profile uh this guy's got the relic one so we're gonna start with this one though into those guys wait no i try to do my psychic phase right yeah that's fair yeah that that 100 makes some sense we're gonna have this guy throw a miasma on himself to try and protect himself a wee bit we get a seven i'm gonna have it well thank you there's no point in doing blades of p not page bleeds of peace of action but virulent blessing on these guys because i'm pretty sure these guys are only strength toughness too so we don't we don't need plus one and wound on them nor do we need plus one wound on you so we're gonna cast smite we got it with eight would you like to try and stop that this guy has a heel and the d6 mortal wound spell i let it go yeah you have it all right so d3 one dead orc god got him we're gonna go over here and cast fleshy abundance which is the heel it's like your power i think i'm gonna command point that unless i got on a four somehow but i mean you want me to command point anyways i'm gonna go down to seven and i roll six instead so smooth it is five to cast so i didn't need to reroll and i'm beats normal is going to charge both units i guess you get the so he's gonna have to end up near both he's gonna have to end there and then these plague bears are gonna attempt to charge as well and if they fail i have these guys as a backup they're gonna roll an eight and they needed a seven so we're not rolling eight but after the modifier it's an eight ending like that spreading them out for no particular reason other than i think it looks cool so uh we gotta fight first somewhere with something that's charged because i think i'm charged with everything that i want to charge with i did go with this soul grinder first because all my other options on charging aren't that great or i could attack grotz but i'm not too concerned about the grouts right now maybe just wheeling down their attacks a little bit might help not too sure attacking with the warp sword because i guess to reroll failed hit rolls okay didn't help in this case and uh two dead boys huzzah would you like to here too we got a lot of cool stuff going on here i like it so at the end of the second battle round the score currently is 24 for the orcs and 5'4 nurgle it's not looking great but i'm actually scoring some primary now and i can start pushing back towards working on that a little bit i think it's going to be a little iffy in my command phase i get a command point going up to seven i am going to score two victory points at the end for the action because i hold one two of the objectives when they did the action and i also hold two objectives for the primary which is domination i just have to get on a third one ideally four if i can that'd be the perfect number to grab and hold but i have to let them work pretty hard for that uh we're gonna go right on the movement that by the way gives me seven victory points so you know closes the gap a little bit we're gonna go ahead and start over here did we point this out swinging the comment we're not coherency right he's using two inches of that model as well right yeah so okay this is this comes up a lot where people don't quite understand they like to point out the coherency thing a lot and so that model is within range of two models that models within range of two models that models within french two models that models within a range of two models and you keep the like it doesn't actually stop daisy chaining as much as people have a hit with wounds on a two that was almost a one and no it's three damage now the second one wants to fire at them as well he's got one moon left there so we're gonna do harvester cannon into kff and then the flam bombardment into the war boss because i'm going to get greedy harvester cannon first on forest because he's not bracketed we have a hit which one's on not that okay so he's gonna survive this and then we do the d6 shots into the war boss which is threes fours and probably threes yep one moonie hit it off oh you made it no because it's been three damage let's see for the shooting attacks over there so we're gonna have the great unclean one put uh elf fluvian i guess because the boys are engaged in combat i could shoot at the kff but i think it's like overkill i could kill a bunch of rods with this six shots on threes oh man it's not great he rolled much better last time it's only three hits and he's moving on twos that's three booty hits uh do they have the k-pops front aha four good enough and these guys are big in corpulent and they do more wounds on a four up from the charge no okay this one's gonna go ahead and charge this and declare both of the characters there i don't know what he needs but a seven will do so yeah just drag him in there and i'm gonna declare the the big mech as the target for the impact hits i feel like i should have rolled that one better that's what i get well i know it was a good role but it just you know it hit that it was sad because i seen it hit the table as the one and it just slid this gave me disappointment from him these plague bears are gonna declare charge against the boys and the grutts right in front they get plus one for this roll they're gonna roll a 10. oh sorry meant him him as well yeah i'm just keeping this one kind of uh fake not the real plague written back there hanging out denying a little bit of the jump back here the rest all charging like so we had to readjust the models a little bit to account for the shorter table edge there forgot i forgot that a little bit when we moved but it didn't really impact the game too much that's just where things end up coming over here we got some charges uh both the soul grinder's gonna declare charge against the boys so the first one the second one both make it charging and they were already just outside of an inch and then these plague bears are going to declare a charge against the boys and them the big squad of boys in the squad boys charge distance will be an 8 which will be modified to 9. ending there kind of surrounding the boys getting engaged with these ones staying within range of the sloppy biopiper but not giving them lego sir and then these play drones are going to attempt to charge they also get plus one so they roll an 11. with that we're gonna have you flying to that spot right sorry it was just the big squat it's just a big switch and then you'll go there and then you'll buzz buzz buzz your way over here can i fit this with one hand hold on back it up all right well this makes things interesting that's it for charges do you have any heroic interventions let's do the one over here yeah this one i was all check it out and now back to the post game so steve tallied up and scored 61 to 40 for 61.40 for nurgle yeah without me doing my last turn because honestly there's not much to do in my turn i would just kill grotz is i'll just say i think you guys seen updates rolling at the we were tied at the end of battle around four we were talking oh then it was all the points i got at the end okay i have nothing left to like fight back with so uh so this was not even remotely close to as long as we thought it was going to be how many clips well it's uh hours hour and 37 minutes of unedited footage that's nothing so it's gonna get go down to probably like an hour and fifteen maybe ish yeah about that maybe a little less maybe maybe hour twenty actually yeah either way it's not as long as you thought but long for my bat rips i'm over 45 playing with this many models it only took that long let's keep going i typically play a little bit faster we like our turn threes took us a while now i'm gonna preface something the orc community in my opinion is the greatest warhammer 40 000 community they are the best group of guys they like they're just the best emails that being said i did it stop asking me to play nothing but poison and that's right yeah everybody stop i can't do it i hate it everyone's so dreaming everyone keeps saying run like 120 boys like you could do a steep i know you have the models run all the boys this was this was every infantry i owned and then the characters would fill the points right it was not fun you know three models yeah so i was steve did i did my first turn of movement i moved things around and then seems like i can see i don't want to move i actually love the orcs a lot i love the deck of jets and the killer cannons i like the mechy stuff right i'm gonna stick with that going forward yeah there's nothing wrong with the infantry but you have to be i agree 100 you have to be in the right mood and energy level to want to play with this many models like we had severe regrets like oh i was humming and hung about what i wanted to play this morning and then it's like oh okay for certain reasons couldn't do certain armies and then i just like whatever haven't played teams in a while right it's like yeah you can do demon seams are safe i'm like oh i don't really like any of the you know what i should do once because in my head it's probably so bad but like pure zinc demons has got to be bad right i haven't i have not looked at any of the rules i don't know anything about them it's gotta be bad i think i think i think you need to mix in so you don't play neural again you're gonna mix in some great uh training the keepers no what's a big bird i think you need one or two of them in your list no that's for some magic powers you want me to make knurling z you know like monogamous monodynamics like slash slash is pretty well i think right i don't mind mixing the demons as long as it's not the ones on like the opposite side of the table you know like corn slash no yeah it doesn't make sense nerve wrangs it should be zing corn and nervous right doesn't make any sense yeah it's whatever is i like you know nurgle is all about constant life cycles each is all about change and interrupting that corn is all about like marshall prowess and all that and like smashes about xs and i don't know uh whatever it is i'll play any of them because not that many bodies yeah exactly this this was this is fun this is actually uh you have a lot of fun i was yeah i was pleased with actually putting the nerglings over i just couldn't get it to jump in like the right spot like the table was too small the table is too small like it looked like you i could fit but when you look at the table being six inches shorter right so like you ever remember that's not there we typically play with a smaller match but this one's already down we put the train down like oh we had everything set up really forgot the small yeah so we're like okay we'll play on this whatever it's manageable we can figure it out and like when you picture like you guys have seen the cut mat on the smaller table it is tiny tiny now to be fair steve did have to have an opportunity on turn four i believe yes there was there was a but he did fail the the jump and then yeah if again if i had got them there and then made a nice charge with grotz i would have like one model in they would have searched the gear if made in charge they would have guaranteed that objective which changed the game completely but that's the dice that's the dice exactly uh anyways folks that's the game hopefully you enjoyed that whole slog of us fighting on this road for five turns it was the whole just the road yeah i mean yeah it's it helped is that a nice vanguard style deployment is kind of cool uh maybe got some models painted maybe you know maybe i like that i don't know what look at this guy's a lot painted over the weekend still alive pains over the weekend still alive that's actually wild yeah those guys should not be alive they have no right to be you know they were fighting him for three turns they lasted a lot longer than they should have pressure yes i'm breaking the curse oh i hope not the curse is like it's tradition no i'm the one who's the most models yeah see you guys next time stay tuned for more warhammer 40k content to come
