North Spore NEW automated Boomer Bin! Unboxing & how to grow fruiting block MUSHROOMS in a monotub!

[Music] hey it's me Tony Lee thank you so much for being you and for being here today I thought it' be really fun to set up my new Boom Room that I got from norport show you guys how I set it up how you can grow some mushrooms got some Fring blocks for free at norport I won't lie I work on customer service got this as well to just learn how it works and functions and so I thought it would be fun to set it up so each Ben you can get just the Ben or you can get the accessory kit as well and that is what I have here and I am going to be setting up easy it's a humidifier a fan a controller some filters and then the boom bin itself we need to open up all of our goodies here [Music] [Laughter] [Music] [Music] right [Music] my tools here because now that we've unboxed everything going to try and put the fan in if you were doing this like a mono tub with the substrate in here you wouldn't do this until after colonization but because I'm doing blocks go ahead and do it I've got the instructions here like in this we' have pre-drilled some holes oh shoot we actually have pre-drilled some holes so make sure that your bin is on the proper way no need for you to do any drilling we've done the drilling which is amazing the bolts are on the back green noise the screwdriver definitely helps no eyes all right I think that's like probably the more difficult parts put that in all of my things plug in so put our filters on I guess maybe filter patches filter patches I'm not doing the best practice I don't have gloves on no I'll spray this down am [Music] done if you do have the accessory you'll have one filter over cuz it'll be there I'm just going to keep all my extras in the big bag now I'm going to set my humidifier up where I want it going right here set it up I will show you guys how to fill it up also oh I don't know it's going to fit for the humidifier controller you're actually going to want to Slit a little sliver and like maybe a filter over there on the opposite side it's got to be in there to control it a little place just so I can kind of get it in there this pocket knife was one of the best gifts I've ever gotten like that just need to just going to plug everything in but I do actually need to go and fill up the humid I did just plug everything in but I'm going to go and fill up the humidifier we want to do take it off of the bottom the Basin and then you're just going to unscrew this and fill it in it is very tempting to try and put water in this but don't do that water goes in here line up St I do have this hooked in you normally want to set it between 80 90 to try and get 85 just to start out with the 80 you press the up Arrow to to set your up so I need to change that to 90 and you press the down to do your lowest so I need to have it at you have this one at 80 and the other at 90 now we're set it's at 85 the tube oh right I am actually going to like something maybe like this yeah so you don't want anything like this if you have something like this water is going to get stuck and you don't want that so we want to make sure we are Hut and that water will not be getting done excited on this one and that is where this comes in this helps you plug the piece people baby is interested oh put it on there secure woo nothing the fan works the humidifier is being weird so we're just going to plug it in if it works okay so it works I'm not going to sugarcoat it my controller is not working so I might have to go and switch it out your controller ends up not working always reach out to us we are more than happy to help try and figure out what is going on with your controller mine just when I plug the humidifier in it's not turning on like the humidifier so I don't know if there's like a signal that's not connecting but that's my only issue but everything else really like it so now it's time to get some blocks in there and get some mushrooms growing before I put a blocks in there I'm just give her a little spray this blue oyster block like I said in the two lions made right here going to just go ahead and kind of like make a little cut right here because they are starting to fruit little bit got my knife I will give him good spray yeah g to just put that in there now you now these Lions man they kind of whack best option maybe just a top fruit can we top fruit Lions made we are finding that together boom might rearrange how they're in there I'd say yeah like three is probably the most you want to put in here just because once they they do start to fruit like you know I'm going to going to have to deal blocks in there four I did this four days ago the oysters are ready oh wow it is wet in there you should see how much water is in this no no Hy it just stumped all that water out I think what I have to do now until I get a controller is just like kind of maybe turn it on for like an hour and then it's like turn it off cuz that was so much water too much water so I'm going to put the lion back in here and then also I'm going to put the sh here as well just a water now we need to harvest those oysters doesn't seem to be okay time to harvest oh I'm just going to wow that was easy look at that a big try I guess I could just go put this back in the in the tub probably should look at that that's a good chunk oh good idea could I dare people apparently use this to instead of they measure instead of measuring they like like on cuffs and stuff they just measure like this interesting in gr 13 cup or 2.3 gram you know damn yeah it's a pound and 9 oz it's a pretty good blush this is just sitting on the free rack nor thanks nor all right good stuff well folks that's how you grow mushrooms like the video pretty gooda
