thank you thank you thank you uh i want to say tana makashi and buji to han uh it is my privilege and honor to be here i want to thank the pastor so much for your welcome here your invitation and uh life without limbs ministry this year is uh right now in the middle of a 24 country tour and we really want to ask you for your prayers we need prayer for health and strength and also grace from god while me and my wife we miss each other so much while i'm gone this year um i'm i'm seeing them in eight days and then i go again and later on in october we're going to be doing nine countries of south america and so we're just so thankful that we can show you that video and share with you how god is opening up such unique and spiritually significant doors all around the world for the gospel of jesus christ to be preached i have no greater joy than knowing god i have no greater purpose than knowing god the number one commandment that god asks us to have is love the lord with all your and and and hallelujah amen did anyone get it pretty much love god with everything you have amen and the second commandment is to love your neighbor as yourself it's not like a commandment where therein god loves you and god rewards you and god says you need to pray x amount of times and if you miss a prayer then you i'm not going to love you and if you're not a good person then i'm not i don't have forgiveness from you for you you know you need to be a good person before i hear from you all these conditions in so many other religions god's love is unconditional and when you experience the unconditional transforming love of god in your life you are touched by the holy spirit and you start an active relationship with jesus and through knowing the love of god you can love others with that love of god you can forgive others with the forgiveness of god amen is that rain hallelujah glory to god i want to hear some thunder that would be fun so um for those who do not know me i was born in australia who's seen me on youtube great um am i shorter or taller in life in real life huh i i want to give you the greatest updates i was born and raised in australia but seven years ago i moved to los angeles and 12th of february last year my wife and i we got married and 13th of february this year our son kiyoshi james voicic was born it's such a joy to see god's love in our lives that as we honor him he honors us as we live our life by faith and according to his will and not our will we see the perfect plan of god i want to share with you how believing in the perfect plan of god in your life will transform your life in ways you cannot even ask imagine or attain i want you to know that i'm just like you i have ups and downs you see my foot ups and downs ups and downs right and you know people come up to me and and they ask me you know why where do i get my joy from you know a lot of people they know me purely as a motivational speaker who's a christian and then you know they want my joy they want my peace they want my strength they want the hope that i have but they don't want to hear about my god well if i can't talk about my god then it's not a complete story because without the encounter with god the living lord jesus christ who rose himself from the dead if i couldn't believe that someone could actually raise himself from the grave i would never believe in an afterlife you know i'd be saying the whole thing like you know teenagers they're saying yolo all the things that you only live once right yeah well if you only live once that's such a depressing life and so if you're only living 90 years then yeah you might as well have everything in your life that makes you feel good then you have all the attention of everyone and you change yourself to whoever you need to be to get what you want because it's all about what you want and you get because things is what you're going to be looking for because things make you happy but the greatest things in this life are not things i used to want things two things my right arm my left arm and another two things my right leg and my left leg four really right i asked god for arms and legs and i didn't understand the love of god and i started believing that i'm only going to live once and if you only live once then there is no purpose if you're only living once you can be a good person but what's the point if you're only going to live once there is no reason then to love anyone there is no reason then to forgive anyone you just do what you do if you're only living once so i asked god god if i'm living more than once and you have a plan for me show me your plan jeremiah 29 verse 11 god says he has a hope plan and a future for our life so i simply asked god here i am give me arms and legs have you ever heard that god has a plan for your life and you're like waiting for this plan and you're like uh god you're taking a little while here can i suggest a plan b right i had this awesome it right there thank you i just want you to know that in my life i was looking for happiness i thought that if god gave me arms and legs then i'll be happy but now i look at you and most of you had arms and legs and have arms and legs but you're still looking to be happy arms and legs doesn't give you happiness you know some single people i meet they think that marriage gives you happiness well yes there are blessings in marriage but men if you're not happy single you're not going to be happy married can you hear an amen isn't that true and if you don't believe me you just need to go talk to some married people all right right the biggest life-changing decision that you will make is believing what god says the second biggest decision you'll ever make in your life is working out who god wants you to marry and be with for the rest of your life both big decisions in your life is you surrendering your self-will and serving the first one is serving god with all your heart and all your mind and all your soul and all your strength and before you love your neighbor before i'm an evangelist before i'm a servant of the most high god i know as an evangelist it's wonderful to see people come to jesus christ but even more than being an evangelist i need to be a excellent husband i need to be an excellent father before i need to be an excellent evangelist you see when you encounter the love of god all you can do is love people with the love of god that's why the second commandment is love your neighbor as yourself so then they realize that there is something different than the selfish self-seeking love on earth i live differently because i am living twice i live differently because i'm not living for me anymore i live for my god first the god of abraham isaac and jacob that's my god that i serve and in my life i'm thinking well wait a second hold on a second if god is real why does he let pain happen you know kids they come up to me and they freak out a lot you know like what happened you know and i go up to them and i go cigarettes right and people when they look at me they can imagine the pain that i went through but i believe it's worse being in a broken home than having no arms no legs i think it's worse being a refugee running out of a war-torn country than having no arms no legs i think it's worse being in a divorced family or someone who's dying that's worse than having no arms no legs you would give up your arms and legs to have people back in your life arms and legs is arms and legs but there are things that cannot be replaced but i was angry at god i know i was looking for happiness and when my mom and dad said god has a plan for you i said no he doesn't i didn't really see it you see my book my book here my my bible if i start from over here the word of god is the truth and the truth will set you and who the son sets free is free so this is the path of truth and away from the truth opposite of truth are lies the father of truth god the alpha the omega the beginning and the end he is the way the truth and the life jesus christ said that trinity in one god the father god the son god the holy spirit that is the truth and that will set me free and the father of lies the king of lies his name is satan he is the devil and the first person that he came to try tempt was a person who had no belly button her name was eve eve had no belly button adam had no belly button correct why because they were not born they were with god in the garden of eden they heard god say the truth the snake came and said that truth isn't truth this is truth they chose to believe the lies adam and eve fell into sin god could not be around sin he is god who am i that god would love me who am i that god's love would pursue me he is god i am nothing i am a sinner adam and eve were separated from god and what happened from then on god knew all the billions of people that would be alive living on earth dying on earth to the point till the last person on earth knows about jesus the bible says that we are not living once for those of us who believe in the resurrection and the life of jesus but because jesus rose himself from the grave the spirit of god that raised jesus from the dead now lives in us believers and when you have that encounter what that means is you worked out by the grace of god the difference between lies and truth god's voice or lies from the devil and you've chosen to turn your back on the devil and go turn your back on the devil and walked in the path of truth however when i was a kid i started believing the lies nick you're not good enough nick just give up nick you're going to be a burden to your parents nick you'll always be alone nick you'll never get married even if you got married you can't even hold your wife's hand even if you had kids you can't even hold your kids when they're crying nick just give up god's not real you asked him for arms and legs where are your arms and legs there is no plan hope or purpose for you now did my bible move no was god's plan always there yes for me to read inside the first page of the bible i have to turn it to turn that page and read it i need to go there i need to be able to tangibly touch it and open the bible with my foot but until you seek the truth you're not going to see the truth there is a difference between seek and see but you'll never see until you seek you need to seek something you cannot see certain of things hoped for what's that called hope because of faith f-a-i-t-h full assurance in the heart hebrews 11 verse 1 that's what faith is when we understand that god loves us do you sing that song out here jesus loves me this i know right why for the bible very good if i believe in the love of god that is the beginning of faith and if i believe by faith that god is who he is then he has what he has for me if i don't believe in the love of god like i didn't at age 10 i actually tried to commit suicide in 15 centimeters of water in my family bathtub i couldn't see hope so i tried to end my life and the first two times i rolled over i was trying to work out how much air i hold in my lungs before i let it out and then let the water come in bullying at school was the biggest reason why i started having depression i didn't feel like there was a way out and the third time i rolled over by the grace of god everybody saved by the grace of god only by the grace of god did i see in my mind a vision and it was a vision of seeing my mom and my dad crying at my grave wishing they could have done something more well i am thankful by god's grace that i am still here imagine all the joy that i would have missed out on my wife amazing woman of god was always coming in my life my son kiyoshi james vuic was always coming in my life god has a plan whether you believe it or not doesn't change the truth but if you believe it because of the love of god you have faith that it's there you can't see it but you take one step at a time towards it god has it there his arm is stretching out to you ready to forgive you ready to heal you ready to set you free ready to give you wisdom ready to give you guidance ready to give you favor ready to give you health and protection and provision and all the blessings of god and legions of angels that will protect you from every power and principality of darkness he will give you the spirit of god that raised jesus from the dead and death is greater disability than having no arms and no legs sin is a greater disability than having no arms and no legs what's the point of having everything on this earth if you lose your soul you can be happy with stuff on this life but it will never restore your soul jesus says come to me all who are weary and heavy laden and i will give you rest jesus says drink from my cup and you will never thirst again i am not hungry or thirsty for arms and legs i am full i am complete lacking nothing some people say well nick you just need to start speaking in tongues before god gives you arms and legs totally false i've seen miracles happen in front of me i don't speak in tongues and i know god sometimes heals and sometimes god doesn't heal why doesn't god always heal because if god healed us all every single time we asked for healing we'd never go home because if i don't die of cancer i'm going to die in a car crash if i don't die in a car crash i'll die of old age if i don't i have those things i'll die in a plane crash choose what you want nick voyage is gonna die who cares when you're living for billions and billions and billions and billions and billions and billions and billions of years as an introduction to eternity and when you understand that you live twice and the second time you live forever how you live on earth will affect your eternity and others that's why you love your neighbor as yourself and that's why i can have faith to pray for arms and legs but if arms on legs doesn't come he is still worthy of my praise i will serve the lord as for me and my house we will serve the lord and the lord is with us it is the lord who can give life and take life my life is not my own my life is given as a living sacrifice to god my life isn't meant to be always comfortable you know what happens when you're too comfortable you don't pray as much can i hear an amen i would rather be someone dying of cancer knowing that jesus and his forgiveness and his resurrection is real than a billionaire who doesn't feel that they need god you don't need to be a billionaire to feel like you don't need god i meant many poor people who also feel that they do not need god they blame god for their pain god didn't give pain came from satan but what the enemy tried to use so bad god can turn into good man if he can transform a man without arms and legs to be his hands and feet what can god do with you hallelujah john chapter 9 a man was born blind no one knew why he was born that way and i read this at 15 years old and i said that's interesting they don't know why he was born that way no one knows why i was born this way i wish jesus was in front of me so i could ask him face to face god why was i born this way well i saw the story and people asked jesus why was that more that man born blind and jesus said it was done so that the works of god would be revealed through him his spat in the dirt made a clay put it on the man's eyes can you imagine the blind man he is blind he can't see what's going on this strange this stranger with a kind and gentle voice with authority he must have heard all that but he he as a blind man as jesus was putting the mud on his face he could have easily done hey whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa who are you what are you doing what are you doing putting dirt on my face tell me what you're gonna do and then i'll believe in you he could have done that but he did not i love that verse be still and know that i am god hallelujah a blind man stood there he didn't resist some of you have heard the knock on the door of your heart and you know it's jesus christ but there are questions that go through your mind and one of the things that you want to know is well god what do you do what do you want to do in my life and then i'll see if i trust you right that's not faith faith is receiving the perfect will of god that's when i said god at 15 god come into my life forgive me on my sins i want to live for you i don't want to live for me give me arms and legs but if you don't give me arms and legs use me and guess what he did he used me guess what i still have in my closet a pair of shoes just in case he says yes maybe god will give me arms and legs today maybe he won't maybe he'll give me arms and legs in this lifetime maybe he won't but i know when i get to heaven i will get my new arms i will get my new legs and the first hand that i hold is the pierced hand of my savior and i will fall on my knees before the glory of god and worship him forever and ever and ever and ever i will dwell in the house of the lord forever amen and i can't wait for that but one thing that i cannot wait as well for is seeing someone coming up to me in heaven who seven years ago i met a little boy with no arms no legs in california and i asked the father to bring him up on stage in front of everyone he was about this high big brown eyes little left foot looking up at me i'm looking down at him i can't give him a high five so i give him a load too and so everyone who witnessed this was crying why because it was a miracle it was a miracle of god that he would make sure that i meet him and he meets me and my mom hug his mom and my dad hug his dad and they're all crying and his mom comes and weeps on my shoulder and she says thank you thank you god and then she turned to me and she said we've been praying for a miracle and you're our miracle i've been wanting to know she said that god has a plan for my son and now i know god truly has a plan for my son and i said when he's six years old i'll come to his school and i'll talk about bullying last year i went to his school and he was getting teased and i talked about bullying and now he's the coolest kid in the school i want you to know something god loves you he loves you so so much if he doesn't change the circumstance he will use it if you're being abused at home don't just pray and don't just wait but tell someone that you can maybe trust here in the church a counselor a psychologist someone a good friend because that's not god's best for you to be abused but i want you to know today that god has a mighty plan for you and the highest rate of suicide in the world is asia because there is a pressure to perform the asian culture is a culture where i've never seen so many people work so hard and even in christians who are pastors do you know the region of the world where the front row of leadership of church start falling asleep while i'm speaking it's in asia you want to know why because they're not resting enough it's not because of my preaching and it's not because they don't want to hear about it they're just so so busy they don't remember the last time they took a real vacation better than a pastor of a large church be the best father and husband you can be to be the best husband and father you can be you need to know the father time with him time with your family time time time i'm too busy doing what oh god's doing great things yeah he is i burnt out two and a half years ago i spoke a thousand times from 2007 to 2010 and i don't want to be a pastor one day that one day at my funeral wow nick voyage gone around the world people coming up to my son oh you should be proud of your dad he did so many things then my son can say well i just wish i had a dad he could never be my dad because he never made time for me then even if you had time there were some fathers in the asian culture that totally expect the family to understand how much they love them by how much money they can bring to the to the table it's not about that more than an excellent university my son needs an excellent father yeah hallelujah tomorrow's never promised i might die today but my wife and son know that i love them very much why because i tell them every single day i tell them every single day i tell my wife and some people say oh don't worry when you're 15 years married then then come and talk to me no i have a friend who's been married for 54 years 54 years and every day he tells her that she's beautiful that's what i want amen so love god love your family and then you'll see god lead you one day at a time god's love is not conditional for you to perform if you don't believe me listen to this awesome story i was in india 2008 and i'm not singling out india in any way shape or form sex slavery is worldwide it is in america it is in the west it is in the east it is everywhere in the world 10 million slaves of different kinds all around the world well in 2008 it was not it was not illegal to have brothel houses in india we went to india and we had they've made it now illegal in 2010. we went to the brothel houses in mumbai big blocks of 150 houses in each house there was like four to six girls we went and we went with my friend who took me there he has set 156 slaves free paid off their debt brought him to jesus christ and they started a new life hallelujah he took me there we spoke to 600 sex slaves and a hundred pimps and madames we went into the houses we went into four houses and there was a fourth house we went into and there was an old old woman sitting on the floor sitting on a rug she's about 95 years old you know when some people get so old they have no strength right hardly any strength the hearing goes and so many things go their sight goes well she couldn't really even close her jaws she was sort of like like this right her eyes were grey all these things and so through a translator i saw that she was weak and that she was old and i saw on the wall of their house from top to bottom left to right all the wall of gods millions and millions and millions of gods that's what they worship so i started telling her about jesus and she's nodding ahead like this she's not resisting and then this other woman comes in the room and she's very very angry at me she says who are you and they said my name is nick vojcich what are you talking about i said jesus he said don't talk about jesus she said show me that your god is real make my sister walk i said sorry she said make my sister walk she hasn't walked for four years she hasn't walked out of this house in the last two years two weeks her strength has diminished so much that we think she's probably gonna die this year we have to carry her to the toilet you can see how weak she is if your god is real show me so in my heart i started talking to god god knows that i've seen miracles i've seen crooked backs come straight i've seen legs become even i've seen skin diseases fall off bodies i've seen blind seeing deaf hearing i've seen 12 of them if you don't believe in miracles ask god for more faith because they happen so i said god we're going to pray so we pray that this woman walks and after two minutes of praying her face goes from this and i said get up and walk and so she she's going pain in her face she's trying she's trying she cannot get up my friends you know she's trying to lift her up her face shows so much pain and agony trying to stretch her legs out and start moving my friends literally pretty much carry her from one side trying to get her legs working from one side of the room coming back to the other sitting down on a seat with armrests and she is exhausted trying to walk for the first time in four years and it wasn't a miracle her sister was still angry and so i said no god i want to pray more so he prayed for another 30 seconds and her face went from this to this i'm ready i said what she said i'm ready and i said no no no we need to pray just a little bit more you know what that shows my faith correct how big of faith do we need mustard seed everybody say a mustard seed you need a tiny tiny incy wincy little bit of faith when you pray to a living god you need mountains and mountains and mountains of faith oceans of faith to even dare to pray to someone who's dead god is alive jesus he rose from the dead that's why he is alive he did miracles he faced the devil face to face and one no name like the name of jesus he was holy he was blameless and the one thing that got him accused was because people started seeing that he said that he is the way the truth and the life that he was the messiah but a group of people didn't put him on the cross his love for us put him on the cross we'll get to that in a second watch this love that god has for us so she said she's ready to get up and walk we pray a little bit more she gets up all by herself and she's like whoa and we're like whoa and we all like wow wow wow this is amazing amazing she starts jumping up and down her sister is amazed she goes to the wall of gods and she says thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you i said no no no no no i said how long have you been praying to your gods for four years no she said yeah i said that wasn't your god i said that was jesus jesus loves you now that is a miracle but that's not the miracle the miracle is when we went back to the hotel and my friend sat me down and he was a little bit shocked i was shocked we were all shocked we couldn't believe what we just saw and he said nick you don't know who that woman was i said what do you mean the woman that walked he said yeah i said who was she he said she was the one who's 45 years ago who was the one who started the 150 brothel houses in this city she was the one who started this devastation and destruction in this city of ruining women's lives and she made a living off it evil yes it's not against flesh and blood i love her i love you i love my enemies god loves her she ran a hundred kilometers an hour away from god for 45 years she killed people she abused people and god still healed hope god loves you god loves us and if you don't know the forgiveness of sins through the blood of jesus christ it will not make sense to love your enemies well while i was still a sinner jesus died for me he loved me he stretched out his hand of salvation to us i had sin we all have sin and if you don't believe that we all have sin just give me two three-year-olds and give them one toy and you will see sin correct we are born with pride we are born with selfishness we are born with greed we are born with lust we are born to sometimes lie that's like how we're born but we're not born to live in sin we're born to live forever born to be free from sin through the blood of jesus christ through the renewing of your mind through the power of the holy spirit i had the crime of sin if i shoot someone here in this world i will go to jail it's a crime and i need to go to jail and do the punishment for killing someone if i hate someone i'm not going to jail to because i hate someone it's not against the law on earth to hate anyone i can't go to jail because i hate anyone that's not it but the law of god is if i hate someone i am not worthy of heaven whoa if i lie once i'm not worthy of heaven whoa if i'm jealous once i'm not worthy of heaven jealous once jealous you been jealous have you hated somebody have you ever lied sin we all need forgiveness of sin but if i have a speeding fine and you do not have a speeding fine if you love me so much you will pay my speeding fine for me but if you have a speeding find yourself you need to pay your speeding fine and i need to pay mine i can't pay your speeding fine and mine so sin the punishment for sin is death that's why you don't know anyone perfect and that's why you don't know anyone who's living forever because everyone who has sin will die but if i believe in my life that jesus died for my sin then i don't have to remain dead in fact when i take my last breath here on earth it will be like a twinkling of an eye that i'm gonna be taken up and going home that is my hope and i don't need to say yeah i'm hoping that my hope is real why because my hope is real and that's why i can smile and that's why i have joy some people say well yeah all you need is a positive attitude in this life wrong you need god well i just need more money i just need more friends no you need god you need peace you need forgiveness you need purpose amen can we have some keyboard player back here please i would play but i'm not warmed up yet i am oh no a couple questions who comes to this church regularly put your hand up put your hand up if he comes to this church regularly awesome put your hand down put your hand up if this is your first time to church to this church this church this church this church this church okay put your hand down uh put your hand up if you go to another church okay so many of you okay put your hand down cool remember the thing that started it all love above faith above don't do that turn off the monitors you're gonna get feedback above hope above faith it's love god loves you he loves you so much you know i heard there's a shortage of water right now in this state right correct why oil tankers spill in the river correct a million people got poisoned right it's sad do you understand what poison can do right just one drop of poison right forget about oil and contamination but poison poison yeah think of this you can have a really big glass of water and it's beautiful water it's perfect water but if you know that there's a drop of poison even if you're so thirsty you will not drink it because poison will kill you the water that this planet can give you in the systems of your water systems the joy that things in this world can give you will not satisfy in my hotel we have water i'm sorry i'm not trying to make you jealous i'm just showing your preaching here ready our hotel actually does not have the connectivity of water through the city but it actually has its own reservoir as well from the catchment of rain the rain that you hear right now the world does not understand the peace of god that comes from heaven everything we touch on earth tangibly will fade and satan will always bring a lot of truth with a little poison right it will make you believe enough that if you're just good enough then you'll be okay well if god loves us then why would he send anyone to hell well if you don't take the curing vaccination of your cancer you're going to die of cancer period it's not god it's the disease that you have and you just haven't got the right vaccination for that disease the disease is death there is one cure it is the resurrection the disease is sin there is one cure it is holiness and the restoration and the reconciliation and the cleansing of god almighty and his spirit and his holiness and his righteousness and his forgiveness and transformation that is the cure for sin hallelujah god will supply all your needs i don't need arms and legs so what are you waiting for have you found all that you need yet because if you don't come to jesus who's giving you all that you need you're gonna be tired running running running looking gathering trying trying trying and you will get tired and weak and lonely until you look up today do you know him are you walking with him i'm not asking if you go to church i'm asking do you know him and does he know you do you take time to pray to feed your spirit the word meditate on a verse do you make your decisions in your life according to what you know is best or do you prayerfully consider what to do because that's the difference i don't want my wisdom i want god's wisdom i don't want my plan i want god's plan because there's nothing greater than god's plan hallelujah they feel like there are some men who need to go back to their families and ask for forgiveness and i leave that between you and the lord and your family but between me and you i know that there are many people here who need to give their life to the lord jesus christ you know you're not walking with him if you have an active relationship with god that's awesome when you're a christian it doesn't mean that you're perfect get over it hunger and strive towards righteousness and for righteousness and as you pray for forgiveness god's grace will be sufficient for you in every single way it's your heart change it's you not wanting to sin anymore oh came and left the car before about 10 years ago and i said in prayer but you know i'm really not walking with him because after two weeks of giving my life to god i really thought i needed to be a christian i need to be you know perfect you know and then i wasn't perfect so i got depressed and then the voices came and said i'm not good enough and i didn't feel like i was worthy to be a christian where are you going to find that in the bible that was not from god that is from the devil do not believe the lies but be set free in your mind in your spirit in your heart in your soul because what none of us are going to be perfect but strive strive it's that heart change and god will carry you when you cannot walk i'm not perfect i don't wake up in the morning hi everybody it's such a great day i don't wake up like that god has a plan for your life he has a solution for what you're looking for it's his love it's faith in his love and as you walk and grow and talk and learn and read and move you'll see the blessings of god hallelujah if there is anyone here who needs to make their life right with the lord jesus christ maybe you're watching right online right now maybe you're watching in an overflow flow room right now god is there with you as well if you're in an overflow room i want you to do exactly what these people are doing in this room we want to give you an opportunity to respond to say a prayer that if you know that you're not living for god you're never too young to give your life to god but if you wait for tomorrow you may be too late because you may not be here tomorrow it's a fact i'm not saying that to freak you out i'm telling you if you keep on delaying it tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow there will be one day where there will be no tomorrow for you and if you keep on making that decision tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow you'll never make that decision so when are you going to make that decision some teenagers like oh well you know christianity is so limiting sex before marriage is not freedom sex out of marriage is never better than in marriage that's your plan that you're living that you're thinking because the devil used something so whole you're so beautiful and put evil in a lot a bit of great a lot of greatness but then poison that path will lead you to loneliness to brokenness to fear to depression nothing wrong with pornography oh yes there is oh yeah man i go to church but i still use the f word at school really yeah i'm a christian but you know i i when people gossip me at my youth group you know we just gossip back really there are some that will not become christian because of us churches because all they see is fighting anyway love love love love your church love each other stop bullying stop teasing stop judging stop all of you who got limbs said your neighbor you are handicapped really your arms and legs handicapped you in remaining underwater okay this is amazing okay now some questions we'll receive right okay i'm gonna ask okay brother nick very quickly uh three questions we received that has come through hi nick i was once very passionate about life until last year some things happen i want to ask how do you get past the fact you've been a mistake and you lost your drive for life how do you make yourself stand up and move on after your lost meaning i'm lost but i pretend i'm okay around people when i'm really alone by myself i don't know what i'm living for first of all know that god loves you and even when you believe in god it doesn't mean that everything's smooth in fact i really encourage you anyone have my book unstoppable yet does anyone have yeah you have a couple any one of you really yeah i saw a couple i want you to know that you uh can grab that copy here today at your church that to me out of the four books that i have is the most encouraging through difficult circumstances i am not uh the example jesus is the example but i actually went through a burnout myself i went through a depression about two and a half years ago right so that was pretty recent now how can a preacher be so strong yet depressed sometimes so we go through that those processes the ups and downs and going into a new season of breakthrough sometimes becomes very very difficult and what i want you to know is that you're not alone that's the first thing that you're not alone that god loves you that his comfort will be with you i encourage you to read psalm 91 if you're really depressed i at least read psalm 91 every day just do it even when you don't feel like doing it even when you don't feel anything when you read that that verse you know read that out loud and as you hear the word of god faith will begin so hearing the word of god there's actually a verse philippians 4 13 that really helped me a lot if you have a pen and paper read these verses romans 8 28 philippians 4 13. i can do all things through christ who gives me strength all things come together for the good for those who love him who be called according to his purposes isaiah 40 31 those who wait upon the law will renew their strength that shall mount upon wings like eagles i love that so when i was depressed about two and a half years ago i actually repeated out loud philippians 4 13 throughout my day i was in such a bad state you know i had so much anxiety i couldn't sleep and before i even wake up while i'm half asleep my heart had panic attacks my hair was falling out i was crying so much none of us are immune to breakdowns so i want you to know that you're not alone that's number one but like i got through mine you're gonna get through it um pray for people around you to come to encourage you and pray for you i had a lot of people praying for me during that time so talk to someone tell someone would you help pray with me i'm lost i pretend i'm okay around people but when i'm alone i don't know what i'm living for you need to start living for the king you know pray pray to pray to god and say god today show me something new and seek for it and you'll see it god give me an opportunity then i can love someone or be a friend to someone he will give you that so pray take one day at a time and remind yourself in your spirit of the promises of god thank you so much nick for that because god is a good and a personal god and you and i can talk to him and this amazing thing he's not just up there above but he's here with us in us for us and around us second question how do we help a person who doesn't want to help themselves you know it's good for them they don't see the benefit yet they and yet they don't want to take action and waiting for something bad to happen to them only then will they take action at least at least if you reach out to them you know that you've done all that you can right if someone has actually committed suicide that you know and you blame yourself we are not responsible for each other's soul but our mission is to love and encourage and be with each other and try as much as we can to encourage one another that's the first thing but don't let that guilt kill you now the other thing is when you're trying to reach out to someone and you don't see anything happening our job is to plant the seed our job is to water the seed but god is the one who takes care of the growing so we are the hands and feet of god channels of his love of his revelation we are the family of god here one for another so know that you can only do your best and then god will do the rest i met many people who don't even come to the sermons that i have because they don't believe in god they don't want god they have their own idea about god and the world but all you can do is love them and pray for them and take one day at a time and at the same time don't be so discouraged about the people who don't want to your help there are many people who are ready to hear the gospel keep on planting seeds go and feed the homeless go serve the community may more malaysians help more malaysians but may the greatest servants of malaysia be christians may the generous most generous people in malaysia be christians we are the ones who are here to shine thank you well i think to love people to pray for them just keep on doing this and you're gonna see amazed how what god could do in the lives one final question nick if you were to be sponsored with limbs would you take them if yes why yes if no why not the only place where i would ever accept limbs uh robotic claims i'm not going to take limbs because i have a back problem i have back pain constantly so extra weight on my back is no good it's number one number two um is if someone gave me a magic pill that where i grew arms and legs with no side effects um i wouldn't take it because i'd only take arms and legs from god why because only god knows how much more he can use me if he gives me arms and legs and how much more he can use me if he doesn't give me arms and legs thank you so much there's a greater purpose and i'm content and that's the story you can be content james 1 2 it's hard to easy to read it hard to uh how to live it but what does it say consider it all joy my brethren when you go through these various trials and suffering for produces so many things one after another patience and faith but then at the end it says so that you are complete and liking nothing so i'm complete lacking nothing because of my faith now if my car breaks down do you think i jump on the roof and say yeah all right no but there is a greater purpose to it all and so ask god to remind you and keep you fresh when you do not grow in faith you will shrink in faith so don't shrink in faith grow and grow and grow if you want to follow our travels from here we go to thailand then i meet the president next year i think on on one motivational speech but please pray for maybe 2015 or 2016 that when we come back that many churches come together and we have a stadium three night event i have it on my
