reactions over the past weeks where persons have been coming in and have been giving their lives to jesus and we we are so grateful for that because in such a time in such a time we want to know that the i want to live healthy challenge and we are going to begin this week and so i just want to welcome you across the globe welcome in jamaica welcome from the 14 parishes and if you have tuned in it is the right time as we are going to talk about your health this afternoon i have with me some individuals will be doing a wonderful job we have to my left is dr douglas street you have seen this face uh time and time again a member of the glenn devine seventh day adventist church a medical doctor one who is willing and to help us with our health and so this afternoon we are going to be talking about the first habit in the program water and is going to be furnishing with all the information that you need as we tackle the first habit then we i have with me sister medwinto and she will be uh taking those questions that you'll place in the chat so that the doctor can answer them ladies and gentlemen boys and girls brothers and sisters welcome to the i want to be healthy uh challenge right overcome those habits that you need to overcome so you can be healthy and stronger as you serve the lord let's take a look did you know that drinking water can give you more energy and beautiful skin during week one of the i want to live healthy initiative we encourage you to adopt the habit of drinking adequate water which is between two to five liters per day drinking adequate water can also good afternoon and welcome to this program we are talking about water can you share with us uh what are the benefits of water and what is the required amount that one should in uh to intake on a daily basis could you give us some information on that yes water intake is very important because between 60 to 70 percent for bodies is made up of water and it's very important in the different functions of the body it helps in the transportation of nutrients it helps in the function of the nerves it helps to remove um remove poisonous substances from our bodies and it also helps in regulation of um of of temperature in the body so it's very very very important um so when we don't have enough water a number of things can happen and and so it is very important to have enough now some of the benefits of drinking enough water include it can reduce the risk of chronic illnesses things like diabetes hypertension it helps us to also think clearer it helps the liver to function properly and liver is very important in weight loss and weight management in general so it helps that it helps our skin to look better as well and when we drink enough water we also think more clearly and we also can experience a better mood so um so when we drink enough water it can even it can even help our relationships elevator because we're going to be having a better mood and having better communication between between our um different persons in you know in our sphere now in terms of how much water you drink of course there is no set amount we encourage you during this program to drink at least eight cups of water but um but the recommended amount of water it varies depending on your activity depending on your size depending on your age and six um generally recommend that you drink between two to five liters of water per day and um and that works about eight to about 15 cups i think so it's quite so you should try and go for as much as possible and in fact i did some some research we changed and it showed that when you're in temperate uh tropical climate we should really go for between four to um four two to six liters of water per day and of course it depends on if you're indoors if you're outdoors if you're sick if you're well if you are unwell then of course you may need to to be drinking more especially if you have any chronic illnesses so the amount varies quite a bit so the minimum is basically about eight glasses minimum eight glasses of water but it's very hard it might uh have to consume much more water definitely especially if you're outdoors okay i understand tell me something how do we keep our bodies hydrated is drink in water the only way of keeping it hydrated no not really um there are other sources of water of course and in the in the amount of water that's recommended some of it actually is included in our food and and so on but what we should do is try to to go for the purer forms of water that should be our primary goal um we do we can have some of us have teas and some persons will also have juices although we don't really recommend you you should that you should go for juices as a source of water because you know juices have a lot of sugar sugar is bad for inflammation um but vegetable juices are not that bad so you can get some of your water from those sources okay tell me something doc is uh when we drink water should it be of a certain temperature there are those who like that room temperature there are those who like it when it's very cold i like my water it's very cold so i don't know what advice do you have to give on that well there are some persons who like cold water but the thing is that um especially because um we are of african origin we are very sensitive to to drops in temperature and you find that um when we have things that cool us down too much that can trigger inflammation in our bodies and they can contribute to weight gain and other another issues so we should go for room temperature water or even warm water sometimes is even better but um but cold water is not very good for us i was told that when uh to check your uh to see if you are properly hydrated you should look at your urine and it should be basically uh clear there's a clear look what about those who are taking supplements does it affect the color of the urine is there anything you can say about that yes b vitamins tend to change the color of the urine it may cause it to look more yellow um so in if you're taking a b but you generally find that um when you if you should take a b vitamin in the morning you find that muscle to come out in in the morning so for the rest of the day you won't really notice any much of a change in in in urine you're in color so in that case you might want to make sure that you stick to um the amount of water you you know you should drink and try to space through through the day rather than having it all at one time and you can also monitor them with the times you go to the bathroom so when a drinking of water usually go like about every two hours so that's a good guide as well not just the color of the urine there is a talk about alkaline water has been the preferred choice is there any advice on the type of water that we should take in i've heard about it well yes that is something which which is kind of hot right now but but the thing is that there's not been any research to show that it actually makes much of a difference um the reason why that came up is because it's shown that when your blood is more alkaline you're healthier but that can happen if you're eating properly if you're getting the vegetables you don't have to have alkaline foods and drinks if you're having your vegetables and fruits and so on then that can make your blood alkaline you don't want to drink alkaline water for that it is said that there is no question that is a foolish question or a stupid one but if i am properly hydrated do you believe that can prevent covid19 if you're properly hydrated then that will improve your immune system of course it's not a guarantee but certainly it can reduce the chance of you coming down the covenanting and its complications so that's not a good reason to drink up okay um sister medvedev is there any question in the chat that you would like to ask doctor yes pastor a person someone is asking can a person who have heart disease drink too much water well heart disease by itself is not really on problem if you have heart failure then that might be an issue if you if you have where the heart is not pumping strongly enough but heart disease by itself um drinking a lot of water can actually reduce your risk of heart disease and can help in a management but but you have to make sure that you don't have heart failure for that you have to consult your doctor another person is asking is it the remedy for individual diagnosing multiple myeloma well i wouldn't say it is a remedy but certainly any chronic illness but most chronic illnesses except for those you know with like kidney problems and so on um then it can help in its man in the management because um most illnesses are caused by inflammation drinking adequate water can reduce inflammation about it and can help in the management of even those conditions all right is there any other question we can take at this time all right we just want to remind our viewers as you would have listened to uh the response from doc as the questions were asked is that at least we should consume a minimum of eight glasses of water per day and remember to keep the body hydrated because when you do so i think you will maintain a better health and so this is week one and we are launching out with this first habit for this week and we are talking about water now here is what i'm going to ask of you to do remember last week i told you where to find the information what you will do you will visit www.westjamaica.org when you get there you will see a banner mark i want to live healthy that's the that's that's the initiative this challenge and then you will see what we call the registration form and the registration form is just asking for some basic information that we would like to keep track of and then you will see also another document which speaks to water and what you are going to be doing this week is that you are going to be grading yourself right for example you will see on the sheet uh did i did i drink eight glasses of water today now you're going to mark at a yes or no and there will also be another option as to whether or not you make an attempt if you have done so you'll give yourself two marks if you did not drink eight glasses but you drink four or five glasses you'll give yourself a mark at the end of it you will see your commitment a commitment statement that i am committed to follow the program because i want to be healthy remember you are going to visit r www.westjamaica.org and the information is right there now right across the west jamaica conference territory we have our health ministries directors and we have the directors for the parish we have dr evan perriel map in saint elizabeth we have sister wilson right here in uh saint james we have sister bravo williams in westmoreland and we are yet to choose another director for the parish of hanover south to say that we have lost our director there in an accident recently so he has passed on to his arrest and so please consult your directors and they're going to help you to sign up because we want as many people to be a part of this program at the end of this program after the end of the eighth week we are hoping to hand out certificates to those who would have participated but what we want you also to note and though and the second form i told you is a section marks uh my testimony as you practice these health habits i am sure you are going to see differences in your mode of operation in your whole health your lifestyle and you should make sure that you you're having enough water because it may color urine and you may think that you're not getting enough so make sure you stick to to the amount that you're supposed to be having but apart from the fact that um it changes the color of the urine does it affect um does does it affect the hydration system of the body it does not all right so you're free to take your vitamins and to ensure that um water is also used in okay somebody's asking if drinking too much water will overwork your kidneys not at all as a matter of fact when you drink um enough water it will give your kidney less work because what happens is that when you're dehydrated the kidney has to work more to pull back water from from the urine so if you drink a lot of water it's less work faking is not more thank you all right thank you so much dr just one quick question i want to ask you this is the internal purpose of water do we have any benefit from water using it externally yes of course um of course keeping clean can can can avoid certain infections and of course um especially right now with covid19 it's important to have that and using warm water also can help to help your immune forward to the day when the true lamb of calvary shall put in his appearing once again thank you so much to the anointed ones for blessing us with that beautiful rendition in song welcome ladies and gentlemen to another episode of beyond the surface bible study last sabbath afternoon we began the study on the second coming of jesus christ which indicative to our name we are looking forward to the imminent return of our lord and savior christ jesus and so we looked at how why and when he will be returning we then began the discussion of the rapture theory when we run out of time so this afternoon we will be completing this study on the second coming of jesus christ and it's my daughter introduced to you this afternoon uh or panelists i have to my far right which is your left uh the very consistent ella roose warren from the sandy bay church and we're always happy to have ella warren who is one who loves the word and understands and spends time studying the scriptures i thank you so much for being on set with us once again ella warren sitting next to him is a new face on this set pastor el cando citron who is the minister of intern assigned to the mount salem district of churches and we're thankful for pastor sitron on this set to my extreme left we have the effervescent pastor rabbi brown and uh it's always a joy to have pastor brown one of our mainstay on this program and uh he will be sharing with us once again this afternoon and sitting next to him is elder oral marian the first elder for the farm heights some to the adventist church will be sharing with us in the study uh this afternoon welcome gentlemen as we get into the study for this afternoon we will invite ella warren to lead us in prayer as we get started okay let us pray heavenly father once again we thank you for the revelation of yourself through your word we pray that you will inspire our minds so that we will understand and we will apply our hearts unto wisdom is all we ask in jesus name amen amen now the rapture theory is based on a number of assumptions and there are two main assumptions that we will be looking at we started looking at one uh when we closed the study last week and we're going to start with that i'm going to pick up with you elon where you uh went on that first of the two assumptions and i'm going to ask you to give a recap of assumption number one which is that the 70th week of the seventh week prophecy of daniel 9 24-27 is still future and has not yet been fulfilled and then pastor brown will take us to the assumption number two that the church will not go through the great tribulation so eloira and i will ask you to answer regarding number one which is the first assumption of the rapture theory so can you take us through that again yes as we said last week the dispensationalist theory suggests that this 70-week prophecy at this end of the sixth ninth week ended with jesus's triumphal entry into jerusalem what they call easter sunday and therefore uh prophetic times stop at the end of the 69th week and there is a gap an indefinite gap between the sixth to ninth week and the beginning of the seventh week um uh prophecy so they are suggesting that between the sixth ninth week and the beginning of the seventh week the rapture will take place and after the rapture the jesus christ will come and confirm they say or establish a covenant with literal israel here on earth but we know well that there is no biblical basis to support this gap there is no uh you know other time prophecy where this kind of gap between um some time and the other so there's no gap between the sixth and ninth and the 70th week in fact we know that jesus christ this seventh week the 70th week really um you know confirms and strengthens the the most important part of christ's ministry he says he would confirm the the covenant and we know he confirmed the covenant through his teaching reestablishing the the the primacy of the cover the commandments and then it's the prophecy suggests that in the middle of the week he will be cut off and we know it in the middle of the week christ was what crucified and that ended the sacrificial system that was uh pointing to the the coming of the lamb of god and we know by through his sacrifice um the salvation of humankind was established and thus the everlasting covenant was confirmed and ratified by the death of jesus christ so there's no gap between the 69th year and the final 70th week as this dispensationalists are suggesting thank you so much very clear uh exposition right here now pastor brown will the church god's faithful people go through the great tribulation okay pastor thank you for that question and of course we are talking about the second coming of jesus christ sometimes uh you use the expression the rapture and the question you ask uh please refer please ask your question again i'm asking well god's faithful people go through the great tribulation because the rapture theory says no that god said to people will not go through the tribulation so you're asking about the great tribulation right and there are some misconceptions or some views that are shared ella warren spoke to one just know but again pointing to the dispensationalist group of individuals they say by by looking at the by in the bible that the great tribulation will take place after the rapture the secret rock yes so jesus will come uh he will take his faithful sins to glory and then there will be a seven years period of tribulation and they said that the purpose for this is to bring about the conversion of a multitude of jews who will experience the fulfillment of israel's covenant and they have some bible passages that they use to support the view that there will be a seven years tribulation after jesus uh second uh coming now i'm i'm i'm gonna wrap this up real quick but they cited first thessalonians chapter 1 verse 10. the bible says and to wait for his son from heaven who whom he raised from the dead even jesus who delivered us from the wrath to come no the expression delivered us from the rat delivered us from the wrath to come and they cited first thessalonians chapter 5 and verse 9 it says for god had not appoint appointed us to wrath but to obtain salvation by our lord jesus christ and they also cited romans chapter 5 verse 9 it says much more than being now justified by his blood we shall be saved from the wrath through him and then there's a final text eloaring and viewers revelation chapter 3 verse 10. the bible says because thou has kept the word of my patience i also will keep thee from the hour of temptation we shall come upon all the world to try them that dwell upon the earth they cited these passages and came away with the idea or the teaching that that there will be a tribulation after jesus second coming but i want to be pinpoint clear that the tribulation spoken of in revelation chapter 3 verse 10 will happen before the second coming of jesus christ and not after the second coming of jesus christ um it must be very very clear that the horror of trial that is mentioned in revelation chapter 3 verse 10 uh is is that the the the period of testing for the church of god prior to the second coming of jesus christ and so there are some greek words are terms that we should know and be familiar with one of them is the word ek and the other one is terror because the bible says that god is going to save them save them from the rat to come and the word terror meaning that means that he's going to have a covering over them um and so and so i want to be clear that when jesus prayed that prayer and ask god he says god i'm gonna ask you that when the saints are going through testing times um this is saint john chapter 17 verse 15. i'm going to ask you that you do not take them out of the world but that you keep them from from from the test from the temptation etc and so it must be clear that the dispensing dispensationalists view that uh that the the tribulation will happen after jesus coming is outrightly totally completely wrong and if we should go with the bible as the clear word of god we know for sure that the tribulation will happen that testing period will happen prior to the second coming of jesus christ and there are a number of passages that will support the seventh-day adventist view will support my view will support our view um namely matthew 24 verse 9 mark 13 verse 11 matthew 24 verse 29 and verse 30 and we have these as concrete stated evidences that the dispensation dispensationalist view must be wrong according to the word of the living god thank you so much pastor brown so then understanding that there will be no secret rapture impacting only a few of us and that all humanity will be impacted by the second coming of christ pastor sitron i'm coming across to you now can you please outline for us how the human race will be impacted by the second coming of our lord and savior christ jesus well well as jesus returns there will be the gathering of the elect and we can look at passage such as matthew 25 verse 32-34 and it says and before and and before him shall be gathered all nations and he shall separate them one from another as a shepherd divided his sheep from the goats and he shall set the sheep and once on the right hand and the golds on the left then shall the king say unto them on the right hand call me blessed of my father inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world so there will be the gathering of the elect and there will be a separation of the sheep and the goat that's those who are saved and those who are not saved of course we know that those who are not saved are going to be slain by the brightness of the coming of jesus while those who are saved are going to be changed uh in the moment in the twinkling of an eye of course there will be the resurrection of the dead in christ at the sound of the trumpet announcing christ's return the righteous dead will be raised and that can be found in first corinthians 15 and also and also first uh thessalonians chapter 4 and verse 16 which says that the dead in christ will rise first uh so the resurrected ones will unite with those who sorrowed at their departure now they exalt oh death where is thy sting and oh grave where or death where is i staying and no grave where is thy victory all right so there will also be the translation of the living so the living who are alive that's a righteous living they will also experience translation and of course uh we we pointed out earlier on that there will be the death of the unbelievers they will be slain by the brightness of the coming of jesus christ thank you all right all right all right thank you pastor sichuan so so we know that there will be the resurrection of the dead and the translation of the living and the death of the unbelievers who will be slain with the brightness of his coming so elohim naren while we do know not the day nor the hour of his appearing we know that jesus has left us signs of his soon return what are some of the signs of jesus who returned in the natural world yes and i'll be asking uh for clarity on on on signs in the religious world from you elder warren also ella mark will tell us those are in the natural world yes now uh the best person to ever get you know a prophecy from is jesus himself and jesus would have uh in in matthew chapter 24 we see some signs there and we too can relate to those signs even today you know we we can relate to them even in just last week or very this very moment this very crisis that we are in can relate to the signs in the natural world where jesus spoke of um that would take place so there are things that happen i believe the first the first sign in the natural world would have taken place about 1700 years after the ascension of christ but let's look at matthew 24 um specifically verse verse 6. it says that and you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars and and you and you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars says that see that you be not troubled for all these things must come to pass before but the end is not yet for nations uh shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom and there shall be famine and pestilence and earthquake uh precedence and earthquake in diverse places now we don't have to look far for any of these things to know that jesus is coming is soon we can reflect on the earthquake just the other day in haiti but then the greatest earthquake of all time we may remember it as the lisbon earthquake you know we will see those natural signs the bible also spoke of the the the darkening of the moon and sun and john and jesus would have related to these you can you can find it there also in matthew and john spoke of it in in revelation now these are all the natural signs that will take place in and around our uh in the world and these are pointing to the second coming of jesus now there is something that we want to i wanted us to want us to just pay attention to he says here in verse six he says for all these things shall come to pass but here's a here's a part that gives us comfort while we're studying and looking for the second coming of christ he said but the end is not yet and um he also promises in matthew 28 verse 18 and 19 down there he says that he will be with us through uh up until the end and so we know that though these these things are happening in our natural world jesus is right here with us thank you so much and that is the hope of the child of god that's why we can take comfort amidst all that's happening around us no in the world we just heard of the signs that we're seeing the natural world the darkening of the sun the the great earthquake all these these stuff happening the falling of the stars now uh what about signs in the religious world what signs are we anticipating to see in the religious world that indicates christ coming okay yes so while there are signs in the natural world there in the religious world revelation tells us that there will be a great religious awakening in other words there is going to be a time where a particular message is going to be proclaimed revelation 14 6 and 7 i saw an angel flying in the midst of heaven having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth to every nation tribe tongue and people saying with a loud voice fear god and give glory to him for the hour of his judgment is come so there is going to be a a proclamation of what we as accept the adventists know as the three angels messages there is going to be an emphasis on the the proclamation of the gospel indicating that the hour of god's judgment has come and we know that that three angels message is already going out so we know that that awakening is going on right now we know mata tells us that this gospel of the kingdom will be preached what in all the world to all nation as a witness and what then shall the end come matthew 24 verse 14 so we see right now the gospel being proclaimed right around the world you know when i i grew up in the same adventist church and i have been hearing about how uh you know the message would reach far and wide in the world and i i studied easter university and i said and i learned about cultures that didn't hear about jesus you know who had other religious belief and i wondered to myself how will this gosper reach some of these people in these primitive places now we no longer have to worry our wonder because uh you know once upon a time we would have to send missionaries to fireplaces but we no longer need to send them because the technology is now available where the gospel is reaching to almost every corner of the globe so we know it is only the the statistics suggest that it is only the gospel has reached 95 of the world and therefore as matthew says after this gospel has reached the entire world the end will come of course it is also predicted that there will be what religious decline um paul says it in uh second timothy 3 1 to 5 he says in the last days what perilous times will come for men will be what lovers of themselves lovers of money boasters proud blasphemers disobedient to parents unthankful unholy unloving unforgiving slanderers without self-control brutal despisers of good traitors headstrong hearty lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of god having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof and we know that the cause of this lawlessness matthew 24 verse 12 tells us that the love of many will walks whole and so uh it is clear that he is even at the door because we see this religious decline taking place right before our eyes but the prophecy also tells us that there will be a resurgence of the papacy just before the coming of christ you know after the 1260 years prophecy uh the the the the bees receive a deadly wound but the wound was he was healed and it is going to regain its power and it is going to uh you know the world the the prophecy says that the whole world will what wonder after the beast do we see the world wandering after the beast uh the the pope and the is seen as the the moral leader of the world and we know that the lawless one as thessalonians as a contest rollins two verse nine will work all powers and signs and wanders to deceive many and we see that happening all over the world right now and finally i'd say would see a decline in religious freedom leading up to the sunday law and we we see uh we are having a test run right now in in some places where it's easy to restrict religious freedom on the pretext and i'm not saying there's no reason for uh restricting worship but i'm just saying that there are many persons who believe that the son-in-law wouldn't be uh accepted by the majority of the world because they they are liberty loving people but if you put forward the right reason it is easy to restrict religious freedom in the name of the common good of society and the bible tells us that will happen before jesus christ comes i thank you so much ella warren a profound response right there now there's a question in the chat from uh jackie dennis if the dead in christ will rise first who are the others who will rise also noah i will be answering your question uh right after pastor brown uh tells us uh because we we've heard we've heard of the signs in the natural world we've heard of signs impacting the religious world and not now pastor burns is going to expound for us the signs that will be observed in the society at large and right after pastor bone we will ask uh pastor sichuan to answer that question for you jackie so don't go anywhere i'm going to answer your question so you can get the full understanding of who will rise apart from uh the righteous dead so pastor brown can you go ahead first and explain the signs that will be observed in society at large okay thank you pastor and just want to let you know too that somebody asks a question in the in the chat as to whether or not the the vaccine is the mark of the beast that question is also in the chat um uh but in terms of your question uh in the signs in the society at large um permit me to read from matthew 24 verse number six to verse number eight the bible says and he shall hear of wars and rumors of wars see that he be not troubled yes for all these things must come to pass but the end is not yet for a nation shall rise against nation verse 7 and kingdom against kingdom and there shall be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in diverse places verse 8 all these are the beginning of sorrows now earlier ella warren uh spoke about the decline in the religious world and i want to answer the question starting from that angle because one of the uh obvious and apparent decline in the decline in the religious world is the is the disregard for the law of god um we cannot deny that can we and uh that that denial that this regard for the law of god opens the doorway for disobedience discard moral decline and everything else we know lawlessness and so when we talk about society we know that because of the disregard for the law of god pastor daya we find that there is a surge in rural crime where crime is really the order of the day uh and this is real the world over um men's hearts are wicked coal colors and we live in a crime uh riddled society and then we also find that because of this lawlessness there is little or no regard for god's standard of sexuality and so we have today um the television the flame the movies songs magazines advertisements are sexually driven and this sexual revolution um gave a shocking rise in divorce uh open marriage uh made swapping uh sexual abuse of children um abortion widespread homosexuality lesbianism and and and all of this gave rise to uh a plethora of of sexual transmitted diseases um then we talked about uh the bible why why i read the passage from matthew 24 is because in that passage jesus as brethren said was is is the one who is is the the person who should really talk about the signs of the time he's god and when he when he did and gave us that that that that renowned chapter we saw how he highlighted wars we star wars wars are everywhere world war one world war two and since then all the other wars in between we we saw natural disasters um we saw the bible talk about earthquake etc now natural disasters we find we saw fires we saw tornadoes we saw flooding we saw um a a a crippling global warming crisis um even the blind can can testify that there are natural disasters and then when i get to the word famine um we talk about uh uh how the world over is struggling to feed itself and famine is a natural reality that is confronting mankind on every level everywhere and so yes we have the signs they are forecasting the second coming of jesus christ undeniable sure and we cannot work our way around them all right thank you so much pastor brown now the question that was asked about if kovid 19 is a is a mark of the bc the uh the vaccine the vaccine it is is a very easy question to answer for anybody who understands the bible i'm going to quickly uh jump to revelation chapter 14 and i'm going to read for you verse 12. here is the patience of the saints here are they that keep the commandments of god and the faith of jesus what it is telling you if you are an astute babysitter would understand that the the the mark of the beast must be something that opposes god's lord the faith of jesus it must be something that opposes the law of god because it is those who are faithful to the law of god who will not be receiving the mark of the beast no you can take the vaccine and still remain faithful to god's law and it tells you right there that the vaccine could not be the mark of the beast but i'm trusting that in the future we'll do another study and i'm saying another because we've looked at it before another study on the mark of the b so that you can understand clearly we wouldn't have time now to go through it but we'll go through it in a future study uh on the mark of the beast you can understand what the mark of the beast will be pastor citron coming across to you you're supposed to answer two questions for me now first one is a question that i was asked in the chat that jackie asked are you gonna you're gonna answer that for us could you just quickly react to read the questions right so the the question is uh if the dead in christ rise first who are the others that will rise okay uh according to revelation 20 verse 5 it says but the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished so there is another group those who would have died outside of jesus christ and those who would have been slain at his coming which the bible says that they will rise at the end of the thousand years right so when that shall have happened uh the bible says that in verse 13 and the sea gave up the dead which were in it death and hell delivered of the dead which were in them and they were judged every man according to their works and death and hell were cast into the lake of fire this is the second death so so so those who rise after the thousand years will be cast into the lake of fire and they will be destroyed with satan and his evil angels and you can look at revelation uh 20 verse 10 for additional uh as an additional verse as well all right thank you so much pastor sichuan so then uh the next question i'm coming to you with uh is uh has to do with the judgment and and uh the question is does the final judgment begin before or after the second coming of christ does the final judgment begin before or after the second coming of christ before uh the the final judgment um the the the judgment the final judgment i asked the question again because i am i was thinking of something else when you ask the question i want to make sure that i'm answering it correctly right right so i'm looking at the final judgment and we've we've heard the reference to the judgment being mentioned before and so i am i am asking you with the final judgment that the judgment of the world will the final judgment take place before or after the second coming of christ okay well we we know that there are two judgment there's a pre-advent judgment and then there is the other judgment which will be meted out to the wicked in gehenna which is in the lake of fire so so when jesus comes he will give reward to the righteous but the wicked will get their uh final judgment at the end of the thousand years when they will be destroyed in the lake of fire with satan and the host of demons who rebelled against god yes all right thank you so much i'm coming across to you uh why could not the sin problem in all of its cosmic ramifications be resolved at the second coming of christ and why does god wait until the end of the millennium to eliminate sin from the universe good thank you um so we could we could we could back up a little bit further even before um you know the second coming of christ one would ask the question why didn't god just snap his fingers at the onset of time when sin when when iniquity was found in the devil why god didn't just get rid of him um at that point no god allows that to happen because his his true love must be shown no uh let's say for example god would have gotten rid of sin that very moment then the devil would seem to be the one who is correct but god's name had to be cleared now i want to i want to divide the millennium in in in three portions quickly and um just so quickly answer the question that person i asked so number one the millennium creates the proper setting for the conclusion of the controversy now number two i'll i'll go back to it quickly number two the bellam is a time of cosmic reflection and number three the millennium leads to universal adoration now when we go back to uh when we look at the millennium being a time of cosmic reflection you see the problem the sin problem is not just a earth problem it's a conflict is is a cosmic conflict is a is is a problem that spans beyond the borders of our atmosphere are we there together yes we are so so god would have to um it would have to be taken care of in that aspect so when we look at the millennium given time for cosmic reflection it leads us to the understanding uh based on based on revelation 19 which tells us that heaven and earth after the death of the wicked sorry after the death of the wicked are the second coming sorry let me let me start over during the millennium the result of the great controversy will be reviewed both in heaven and on earth after the death of the wicked and the second coming now it will be reviewed those who are here the devil and his angels and the wicked ones they will have time to look at the their their faults and examine what they have done wherein um in this very same time the saints will also be re we will be um reviewing uh what had taken place and so this will now lead and give way for the judgment to take place and after that we will look at a universal adoration after observing all of this and seeing the the the power of god and the love he's on much love for his creation it leads to know a universal understanding of the love of god and uh and and and the sacrifice that he had made for us we all at that point will adore him yes the bible says that every knee shall bow yes and every tongue shall confess so both those who are saved are unsaved because of the judgment that takes place in the millennium will come to the conclusion that all that god has done was just and righteous amen amen amen thank you so much ella warren as you as you you chipped in right there i'm going to come right across to you and ask you a very important question that that that that uh many adventists especially are challenged by has the second coming of christ being delayed the question of delay is something that comes from the human perspective yes god's timing is god's timing really but from a human perspective uh it is some people it seems to have this tendency and they're credited to the bible the impression that if we was doing more in terms of mission then christ would put in his appearance and and therefore it is because of us why christ are delayed is coming but the bible didn't the bible talks about seemingly delayed if we study the the story of the virgin they thought that the the the the bridegroom had delays coming so what the bible wants us to do not to focus on anything called delay what the bible wants us to focus on is the mission basically because the if we focus on what we think is delay that is where the harm comes because we know we read it the story of the servant who says his master delayed and what happens you know he he treated the other servants and he was slothful in business so we in our thinking should get rid of this idea about delay because what it will do it will make us think that we have time oh yes and that is the danger when we think that we have time when we think that the master's coming is eminent there is a urgency to which we carry out the mission that we have been given and so uh we know that christ is in the the the the most holy place he's carrying out his priests uh priestly role his mediatorial role his intercessory role and we know that he's splitting mercy door stands ajar but there comes a point in time when he's going to say it is finished do any one of us know when that time is no and therefore it beholds all of us not to think about delay but to be ready to send on our sins unto glory so that when christ says it is finished we will be found on the justice side if you look at revelation 22 and verse 12 here jesus says behold i come quickly yes and my reward is with me now if we if we look in this we must be in a state of readiness but those who are not ready will say that god come quick and and and the bible also speaks about if it wasn't if god in short in the time yes then um there will be no flesh left so you see really god is trying to help us to be that about the urgency of the time not about any delay about the imminency of his coming about the urgency of the mission and about us being ready yes at all times thank you so much and so pastor brown i'm coming to you to wrap it up for us as i talk about being ready i'm coming to you with that question how can i be ready for the second coming of jesus christ thank you pastor the the the passage um matthew 24 verse 42 to verse 40 44 is very critical to the answer of that question the bible says in verse 42 watch therefore yes for he know not what hour your lord.com verse 43 but know this that if the good man of the house had known in what hour the thief would come he would have watched and would not have suffered his house to be broken up verse 44 says therefore be he also ready for in such an hour as he think not the son of man coming come it um and and this is jesus speaking still and so the the christian then the child of god the mankind everywhere uh is called and challenged to always be in a constant state of of readiness that is living constantly in the will and obedience of almighty god mark 16 16 says he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved and he that believeth not shall be damned and so when we looked in the word of god i'm rapping but when we look in the word of god we notice that the second coming of jesus christ is is maybe is one of the most dominant themes that we should keep at sharp focus as as children of god in ephesians chapter 5 verse 15 and 16 the bible says see then that he walks circumspectly not as fools but as wise redeeming the time redeeming the time because the days are evil and then in mark 14 verse 38 the bible says we should watch and pray because lest we enter into temptation the spirit truly is ready but the flesh is weak and in living in this constant state of readiness like ella warren says the church should always be on the mission field proclaiming the everlasting gospel and we know that the proclamation of the everlasting gospel will usher in the second coming of jesus christ ultimately and that's why we are a mission-driven people matthew 24 14 and this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world as a witness to all nations and then shall the end come so we should always be be hooked and tied and propelled by the the mission and movement of the church in in regards to the second coming of christ because we are aiding and assisting in this worldwide cosmic event thank you so very much uh pastor brown thank you very much to all our panelists indeed we are looking forward to the soon there's something about providing that soothing for the human spirit in times of depression distress when everything seemed to be going like a swirling time and life itself seemed like you're standing on sinking sands and so i'm reading some requests for prayer this is not a prayer segment but they they call my name and since pastor chambers does not appear with me i if he can run quickly without falling down and um i have a girlfriend in in i have many girlfriends one of the girlfriends in florida that's errol's wife who's my girlfriend last week sophia as for prayer she lost her aunt and her aunt's daughter was struggling with covet and then we've lost some persons who are both husband and you've heard the preacher this morning as he's called some by names persons like the veteran blind bible worker and the story continues and i know that there's so many wishing i would call the names of these spouses or parents or relatives i didn't prepare for it and it's just come back to my mind as a request came while i was coming on set asking for special prayer and yet in the midst of this i got a call from one of our pastors today that they are some unruly members who don't believe in wearing masks at church mask has nothing to do with veiling the image of god and i want to say if you cannot obey the regulations then worship at your house do not expose yourself and others to danger i want to appeal to all our members follow this the request by government to to social distance and to wear the mask and to to sanitize it's not against your religious liberty it is not against our religious freedom cut out this foolishness about hiding the image of god is rubbish as a matter of fact if if you were really in the image of god you wouldn't be as unruly as you are and i sometimes when i get on my not to right side i want to make an impassioned appeal i agree that the issue of whether or not you take the vaccine is your personal choice talk to your doctor talk with your family but when it comes to worship when it comes to the announced protocols we are law abiding citizen and i want to appeal to you my brothers and sisters let us abide by the regulations and if you have a problem wearing the mask then turn on your yard we can worship wherever we choose but but but we do have at this point the the privilege to worship it's going to be taken away from us you know very soon we won't have the privilege to to congregate in in in in the church building uh all the dots are lining up all the dots are lining up governments around the world are not christians some of them are god-fearing we have a responsibility to preach the everlasting gospel we have this moral mandate to tell the world what god says we may not be liked for it and i want to be bold by saying it may be very soon that the freedom we have now to share it on the public space on the internet may be taken away but until that day come we're going cry out loud and spear not and so do those who are overwhelmed with grief and sorrow we share our mutual woes we carry with you the burden you carry it won't take away your pain but but but we stand with you and the song says lean on me when you're not strong and sometimes in our lives we all need somebody to lean on whether it's in grief or financial difficulties and this brother is saying that we want to bear you up on the wings of prayer and so i want to pause and to pray especially for persons who are in grief and for persons now who are on the borderline ringing your hands because you don't know whether or not your loved one will survive and someone sent me this text message that many places many hospitals are running out of oxygen my nephew called me he took his mother to the hospital and no thought that she's going to die and i don't know where the mix-up comes i'm just going to talk it like it is but his brother went on tuesday and one doctor told the brother that she is coming on and he went on wednesday only to hear that she died from monday the grief is overwhelmed the distress the depression the the discomfort and all the dis but there's a god there is a god on whom we can rely and i want to tell you that someday the story will end and covet will be no more and the earth will once again be filled with the glory of god as waters cover the seas someday this too shall pass you don't have to believe in god for him to be god he is god almighty plus nothing minus nothing whether you believe in him yes or no but it makes sense to believe in the living god and even if there were no heaven to go to i am still better off believing that there is a god and i want to lift you up to him and i'm going to ask him to sing softly he'll make a way as if they're singing a prayer song in the middle of nowhere he'll make a way he'll make a way [Music] in the middle of nowhere [Music] when it seems [Music] is don't give up don't give [Music] almighty god we pause even at the beginning of this segment on mentorship because of the requests coming in by your grief-stricken children by your frightened children by those who have lost their loved ones and those who are in fear that they too might lose their loved ones you are god when darkness covers the land you are god in the midst of storm and earthquakes and hurricanes and tornadoes you are god the world may flex his fist in your face but you are still god and so we come to you presenting to you god those close to us those we know and those we don't know those whose hearts are wrapped in the velvet blanket of sorrow who feel that they can't take anymore the breadwinner is gone their loved ones are gone their parents are dead god they're those right now who whose loved ones are in the hospital and they don't know what's gonna happen oxygen is in short supply but our faith is never in short supply because our god you the living god you are still able you are still able by your sufficient grace to walk right now in a hospital room to walk right now in a bedroom to walk right now in a house someplace in a countryside in town side uptown downtown around town all about you are the kind of god who can walk right now into that bedroom but i ask you in the name of jesus christ that you would do what only almighty god can do you know god that those hearts now who need a miracle we pray you'll give them a testimony that there's nothing impossible with you you could have kept daniel from the lion's den but you've shown that even in the midst of lions you can protect your children you could have kept john the baptist from losing his head but god you have shown us that that when we place our lives in your hands the answer may not come as we like it but ultimately your purpose will be fulfilled and when you give life back to the faithful it's in the context where herod can never again kill them nor cove it can never again take them out you could have kept joseph from being in prison for so many years you are god and we don't know sometimes how you lead or why you choose to lead the way you lead but we come to you right now with the faith to believe that you will keep your word that you will work out the counsel of your will that you will do what you will do when at the end of it if we could see the end from the beginning we would never choose to be led otherwise than you have chosen to lead us and so i ask you gracious god [Music] give someone hope now and for those who've lost their loved ones give them the strength they need wipe their weeping eyes with the consolation that death will not have the last word for those now a god who who don't know what tomorrow brings whether or not their loved one will come back home the answer is in your hand and i ask for your divine intervention i ask for the moving of your healing power i leave it in your hands [Music] defeat the devil we beg you come soon and ease the death and the bloodshed [Music] cause the earth again to be filled with your glory i said to her that somebody sent me that message she asked me to repeat it and then she said her brother whom she just spoke with the day before said that why can't we build a recording facility to record the anointed ones and they said in jesus name all righty we we the conversation continues welcome back to the segment where we according to camara we we talk of the things it's it's sometimes they don't even know we're gonna talk about it it's an unrehearsed conversation and so let me let me tell you where we're going this evening i'd like to begin first of all by expressing my personal they are struggling people that's a bored house uh it's leaking its walls camaro uh are it's bored and i'm sure kamara they reached out to her and she reached out to me it's good to have girlfriends who if they can't reach the ugly face they reach a fine face and she made the connection but we spoke about it and she transferred it to my phone and um i want to ask you so if you go on the giving platform i don't remember the name come on can you remember the name for this one so that yes for this family okay the name of the contact i'm not able to disclose the name okay my reason the reason for that you see we we we hold ourselves to the highest standard so if you give us one cent for the ramses we can't give that one cent to anybody else or any other project hold the pictures of your follow in our lord's footsteps to feed the hungry to clothe the naked to help provide shelter yes we preach the gospel but we know that the theory must also work hand in hand with the practical if you see a man who's hungry they say i'll pray for you brother and you don't give him anything to eat if you have it your prayers will go nowhere if you don't have anything to give him and and all you can do is pray then pray as if heaven and earth depends on it but let's do all we can do plus more and i want to welcome the guys back to the conversation so to my far right you have professor milton gentlemen and lady and just in case you're joining us uh we we this is our conversation we talk about the stuff we we go from education to health to violence to to housing to food to clothing to depression uh you name it we'll claim it uh we will help each other as long as we can uh until we no longer can and so wayne and milton uh we're going to come down your street today the seventh-day adventist church in jamaica union is celebrating uh end it now it's an annual it's a theme geared towards ending violence against the most vulnerable in our society women and children and if there's anything that these guys know about it is the issue of violence and social dislocation and so uh dr lorraine vernal who leads the army of women and children in the jamaica union spoke in kingston this morning our union president brought greetings and uh uh here on our platform you would have seen sister carl smith james our counterpart in that area and the children talking about ending it now we're talking about ending violence against women and children but i thought that our jamaican men don't trust violence upon the women and children meeting for all men bypass women and children talk to me about this stuff about violence against women and children good evening to the viewers it is something that we as a country have struggled with for a while because what you find out that in today's society you have a lot of persons who turn a blind eye to things that are happening for example you might have a house where a man is abusive to his woman and his children his woman and his children know everybody of that place and my business a freedom business so you'll find out that these persons keep doing it doing it doing it you see a man out there who knew that if him hit a woman her brother or somebody broke him up we don't do it so most of these persons faster it's just because people turn a blind i notice it happen in some place but it don't happen in some place people need to get involved and it will stop thank you but there's something you just said that i want to to share you see and you're right where they know that they are strong armed people they won't do it but but but that angle also creates a problem where violence beget violence because um an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth will all leave us all blind but but you're right that that if you see something say something it yes this is your boat in the form of a dead you can't you can't be afraid because i i heard from pastor god who baptized me years ago a statement he said they came for my neighbor to my left i saw them but i didn't speak because it was me then they came from my neighbor to my right i saw them i still didn't speak because it wasn't me but at last when they came for me there was nobody there to speak speak because by speaking you may save your own life and so uh milton what what what cycle is created when we chuck violence on our children when when when the boys see his daddy being murdered or his mother being beaten up by his stepfather tell me what do you think that that does to the young man what does it do to him the youngster very important question good evening to the viewers that's a good question mr president very good violence in that predicament we got more violent because when i youth would have seen someone ill-treat his mom i know speaking from my point of view out of front of retaliate because there is no young man out there a young man out here while i stand aside and watch their mom being abusive by someone being abused by someone yeah being abused by someone so in that context this is what i would like to say to mr president because it's something it's real touching you know and we have this problem it's not just in jamaica it's a worldwide issues where males killing young woman and killing young girls these are the future so if you kill the female who won't bring the baby let me want to wayne wayne uh he started on something this morning in in the grandma and keith story uh uh keith run to grandma said come come come come see i don't know the name he called i give some box and kick and stuff it happens in jamaica it happens uh across the caribbean across the continent what does it do to the youngster when he sees his mother being abused when he sees violence done to to somebody he cares about or to himself and he feels powerless at this point to to to handle it what do you think it does to him i'll give two answers to that first there is a group that is dead now that was formed they were called the renegade it is a popular thing and every young man in that group that group was formed because of what was happening to their mom their aunts and all of that and they became minister society because they just start korean people who did not involve because there are people who see and did not say anything the second to that uh my mom wasn't being physically abused but because of the antics i was keeping up she was continuing she was being kicked out on the street every angle she turned and persons were verbally abusing her and that is why i took the part i took in at age 13 that's when i found myself with a gun in my and i said never again anyone is going to be with my mom so that is what it do to youngsters so so that it it it propelled you to contemplate a path of violence yes because now before you even know how to be a man you want to be a man just to make sure anyone not disrespect your mom again and that is why i became that person even today she's out of harm's way and i am still protective to the things i i watch happen to her you know what you brought back to my mind uh by the way somebody just texted in the group what happened to po-po and so joe so i want to to figure out that they're asking for the police and the soldier my viewers are fantastic what happened to po po and and so joe i had to literally muscle them last week because they are very very busy and so they did tell me last week that uh this week may be touch and go but you will see them again because the conversation i will tell popo and sojou that you're asking for them and they'll be back with us some years ago when i started the the the youth uh and they weren't just young people so violence was preventing some guys in in in the west they live in the same area for example mount salem they couldn't play on the play field there and i couldn't cross territory so i said well we're going to bring them down here on the conference play field we gathered them out there we had guys like dean carrodas and patrick leach and uh a house of other guys were working with me on the project and we said to them no violence no no curse word no smoking no bad words and so they'd come and they'll play football together they still play here now and we added something to it busy though i was we had an evening where we had team talk we would meet right in here i never had much money so i would you know buy box juice and bun and cheese you know buy the the little box full of bun and cheese and box drink and bottle drink and we talk of the thing so i asked uh in the group what would make you stab somebody or shoot somebody and i'm engaging them i mean my desk full of work you know but this for me is real church and one young man said to me well well rev if and i don't like being called rev but i don't interrupt them still he said well rev if you see if if if a boy this my old lady we done that you know we mush him up so i said to him what do you mean this your old lady so right there i said to to one of them without using cursed words this is old lady for me i'm trying to get to the real issue yes and uh uh i want to understand what the distinct thing is so what does it mean like i said to dissimulating like tell to the tell the old ladies um they don't have to say indecent languages but they can do even faces to show the old lady or show someone that you are disrespecting them okay so right there in my presence remember we're having this group talk i'm talking about men in their late teens like 18 19 20 23 25 we're tracking right in here and and the guy said something derogatory about his mother and he literally lost his temper and i so when i stood up he said but you have to understand why that is though pastor and i'm coming to you after he blew it he said but you know you say you know so i said fine tell me now you were about to do something to him you looked at me and change your mind and we spend some time talking about it and i spend a good few months every tuesday or sunday having the team talk but when you were coming in uh to say something yes pastor what persons don't understand most of the those guys evil like myself a lot of persons your life is chopped up in bits of pieces and maybe this is ten percent of your life five percent of your life you take away a game from a child maybe that is five percent of their life you take away this that is another five percent when we were out there our mom love is all we have so when time you disrespect her mama or something like that you are disrespecting 100 percent of her life not just a small portion so when our mom is disrespected you are respect disrespecting our entire life so that is it somebody uh risper richard said a large number of young men teenagers in us who are in jail are there because of killing their mothers abusers violence begets violence uh and someone else said that you know is the the disrespect that is is shown and i so here it is and i'm running out of time i go steal you know a couple of seconds kamara it is not just disrespect to mothers but they are brothers who take revenge because their sisters have been dissed by can you talk a little bit you know or or something you want to share i see you looking well yes pastor it's violence against women and children or any vulnerable group it's a disease it's something that is terribly happening happening all around the world and we should definitely talk talk about it but if it is that a man is going to disrespect a mother or a family member member female that person is going to retaliate and if we should extend this violence pastor to even relationships a man who feels that the woman has disrespected him or used him in whatever way sometimes his best answer to such a situation is to put his hand or lay his hand on that individual to show that you have disrespected me you have hurt me and this is how i am going to respond to you okay thank you someone said i don't see that young guy anymore on the set pastor the one from the foster home i don't remember his name other time he has any update on him yes he is now a cameraman i i they're talking about little man so so you don't see him up here because he is causing you to see us up here so kadar is one of our camera persons and uh his other counterpart is is is quiet uh just like him but a little bigger he's also behind the camera i'm going to to to to move a little away from that and ask you to talk to me a little bit about violence in the community so so the kid is is growing up and all he sees around him is badness and and the role models around him is his man with a gun and a knife and stuff and and sometimes he may escape and run down to the street to go to fend for himself do you think that that a youth like that that you would know can find a way out of that you think that a youth that grew up in a community with violence or a youth that have to run from his house to go down at the street to go hustle for a living do you think that that youth can can study or can be helped to to pass a subject and and hold up him here more than sure i'm even an example of it wow i was in the street i i saw more than countless firearms you know in our car no need i'm sorry but you know i i choose my own part and i let my mom kinda guide me you know because my mom was very smart my mom went to um the mount for mont alvernia high school and she didn't came out with any anything that to help her any subjects anything she skived out her time and she always that that was her story to me that um i i skyped my time and i i wasted my time with friends stealing doing the wrong and i want you come on to do the right and i'm doing it for her you know i'm trying wow wow no now you were at one point just like the youth there and i know the first time i met you i i was moved by the potential you have and you had you had something that was in the mirror how did you get that something that was in the mirror tell me about it my my my first my principal brought me to the to the cleaner because she was struggling also because the listeners want to know what is talking about what what what did kamar had in the laminated plastic cover so what was it uh a article i've bought myself an article about yourself what was the article say um uh i'm a first-year student going um i'm i was about to do nursing coming from where coming from the streets from the slums used to being on the road asking people for money and you know got changed god changed that went in to the chris and christopher's nursing academy and my first accumulation my first award was a customer service award with eight credits wow a customer service award with eight credits yes we our time is gone and usually it runs out quickly milton if you have a last word about how violence affect our youngsters our last word to a youth who may think he has to take revenge what would that last word be yes this is what i want to say to you i want to say to the world because what i know what is going on right now youths pray for more faith than job ask god for more strength than something and more wisdom than king solomon why say this ignorance is what killing the youth and that means lack of knowledge many of you young mans out there if you didn't know the degree of certain crime and violence the outcome of it you wouldn't commit it if you didn't know when you killed someone if the law don't kill you and you make it into the court of law you will get a life imprisonment sentence that you will never see the street again hold on you would have done the right thing so this is my word to you again do the right thing pray for more faith than job ask god for more strength than some so and more wisdom than king solomon do the right thing wow wow wayne uh we have to take a pause we're going 2 minutes and 26 seconds over time what would be your word to a youth on the corner a youth on the street who feels that his survival depends on learning the violent stuff i have tried it and it almost destroyed me and in the word of earth man's he said gun don't kill people stupid people with gun skill people and at the end of the day you must look no matter how much gun you have you have never seen a gun line down at the cemetery it's the person you have never seen a gun lying down in a casket no no it's the person who is slinging it so you will never be the first person who to try this and be successful so quit now thank you come on we didn't get the chance of balancing we'll have to come back to it next week so somebody said but but faster balance the coin what about the women who beat men does that exist ladies does that well yes it does it does there are women who are hitting men but i think the numbers passed is not as comparable to the men who are abusing women and i really want to say as well on that premise that uh if it is that you're in a in an abusive relationship whether the man is beating the woman or the other way around put on your spikes and run it's a recipe for disaster you know we chocolate but but some sisters rough you know some sisters ramp roughman and some some some you know i i saw a video clip where where the lady was and it was public and this generation used a phone and and videotape everything even before they move into help somebody said if the titanic was what's going down even the people in the titanic before the chief seek to help them say they'll be taking video shots of the titanic going down with themselves you know and they took this picture of the sister beating at the brother in in the public place and somebody said that any man who beat a woman is a coward and any man who will all want to beat him deserve it i don't support it still i'm saying that uh violence against anyone violence against anyone should end we run out of our time for this afternoon but we will come back next week for the conversation and as i run offset i want to say to you that uh i have 15 letters on my desk of youngsters who need to go back to school some are owing on last semester's tuition and they haven't cleared it and they need to start the semester starting in a few weeks and don't know wherein god's name is going to come from there are some who have not started i got a plea from a desperate young lady in sleep she said pastor if you give me one semester i want to say to those and and i i'm not going to lie a gentleman you know sent me 25 000 us dollars and uh he told me apart from mentorship a part for education apart for food and the part for mission offering etc etc i want to thank god for those who have been as kind who you are finished raising your children but but you have been listening to us and you are moved with compassion and we tell you that we can't share half the story but may god bless you as you reach out to lend us a hand to help those who can't help themselves and if i may borrow milton's words bambam make the choice to give someone a chance milton finish it to family of brother johnson ricky johnson is bereaving the loss of the father the church the conference on a whole is grieving the loss of a stalwart also for brother james elder james and i have richard lost his only daughter to covet elder stewart in lapland lost his wife and the bath church and is bereaving the loss of their head deacon we want to also pray for that bereaved family the mary's family there is a lady pastor joining me here is pastor german as usual we pray together for for you um pastor german there is a pregnant lady um with struggling with the covet virus and they're sending prayer requests that she live and her baby be safe there is a wonder and the claudette card it in hanover their six-year-old baby blood sugar is just not going down and we want god to grant them a miracle in this end allison as a two-year-old daughter also is ill and needing your help i'm sure you have some some prayer requests to pastor yes i would like to make mention of elder dane drummond is still in the salomer hospital he's still there yes and he needs our prayer there's also uh a gentleman from the united states there's also one in albert one of these small islands they have asked me to remember them too they're having some financial challenges and so they would like prayer also i would like to make mention of the family of sister kesha white you might have heard who has passed away during the course of this week uh both of us did classes together at vtdi and very young lady and so i know the family is mourning at this time and so we just want to lift them up and i am sure that there are well as a matter of fact i have received a number of requests from individuals both here in jamaica and outside of jamaica who are asking for prayer and before you move past her i would like to make mention of sister hyacinth morrison in uh canada she's not sick but just want to remember her dorothy drummond that's my sister too i want to remember these are to my two sisters and i want to remember them in prayer as they continue to live for the lord because the truth is we have to pray even for those who are a part of the christian faith because it is a struggle it's a satan tries to railroad our people and to discourage them okay pray for donna here's one in the chat for donna hewitt caught covid and was on the ventilator after that i lost my kidney i am now doing dialysis three times a week please pray for me uh thank you so much sister veronica dailey who continues to pray lend yourself each day to pray for the prayer request of these individuals and after that you've prayed you gave them the assurance you give them the word that your prayer we are praying for them thank you so much and for all those who are joining watching the anguish the cry asking for deliverance the cry asking for healing the cry calling out for financial help dear god come to the rescue right now and help somebody to know that you're still sitting on the throne and you continue to rule in their fears of men when we look on our world today it continues to deteriorate wickedness abounds all the blood of the innocent continues to soak this earth lord the devil is smiling at our pain the devil is smiling when he sees god's children are crying when we are bombarded by life's challenges but again lord i ask you to stand up right now i ask you lord to defeat the enemy i ask you divine jesus to send help send retinue of angels to stand beside your people that they will counteract the force of darkness god we are calling on you we ask you hear our cry incline your ears to our petition father your people your people on earth is suffering we look for the day when your glory will fill the earth again we look for the day when righteousness will cover this earth as water covers the rolling seas every father come quickly and while you are coming prepare us help us to be in a state of readiness to be whole and to embrace this great personality in the person of jesus christ we want to hail you as lord and savior we want to say this is our god we have long waited for so hear our cry this afternoon and speak to every case is our asking in jesus name amen almighty god and our father i come in agreement with pastors prior and with the prayers of all those now who are praying for these or brothers or sisters your children that are in trouble your children that are struggling and battling for life our health is deteriorating many this moment are in the hospital we are praying for our brothers and sisters struggling with the covet 19 virus many are on the verge now maybe somebody is about to take their last breath but 5 000 people and more are talking to you god would you please allow that person the privilege to live one more day one more year one more decade would you please god pause death in the life of that person we are praying for now on the hospital bed at home somewhere i'm asking also that not just the ones dying but the ones who are are struggling with just me other sicknesses we ask father for continued divine intervention in every sickness that is mentioned on in this chat for every sick person that have sent out a prayer request for everyone who have sent with a prayer request for a sick brother a sick sister a sick co-worker we're asking you jesus these over whom we are praying we don't know all the names but we don't even care you know the names you know every case and we are begging you to grant an answer to all of us prior make us know that there is a god in heaven who still hears and answers prayer i am begging you for those parents who are having difficult times with their children i see their requests in the chat praying for their children to be honest to be loving to be brave to be easy to work with i beg you for understanding between parents and children i beg you heavenly father for respect that children may have for their parents and more love that parents would have for their children i'm asking for families that are going through difficult times for every husband who is an abuser verbally or physically that you mighty god with your outstretched strong arm will put i ask you for a credit as they have been looking up to you for their six-year-old daughter that this daughter will not die by diabetes but will live to give glory to your name father we are asking you for a miracle to put that blood sugar under control and not for just for that six-year-old child but for others who are saying here hear that prayer for me now god for that two-year-old baby who is not doing well that two-year-old daughter we're asking you for victory for that one too jesus we're asking you for victory for carlito litman he's not dead yet and i'm asking god that he will not die but that he will live to declare your glory i am begging you not just for carlito but for every every sick person now who is not just believing in this prayer and the prayers we prayed but looking up to heaven and saying god i am still looking i will not close my eyes i will not get into despair or become discouraged i will not cease pressing your throne until you come through you promise in nahum 1 7 that you are a god who stand up for those who trust you and god if we can't and we can't trust you enough just help or unbelieve and come down and help us and that we may believe when our prayers
