My Daughter's Emotional Goodbye To Gymnastics 💔

[Music] hello everyone this is my home or at least this has been my home for the last 13 years but i am about to move with my family 3 000 miles away to california for those of you who follow this channel you know i don't do a lot of family vlogging but this is a really important day because my daughter especially is struggling with this move she has been at the same gymnastics studio practically her entire life [Music] today is her last day at gymnastics she has a private lesson she's already said goodbye to all her friends she doesn't think she's going to see them again for a long time what she doesn't know is that we've actually arranged to have all her friends surprise her one last time so stick around because i think that's going to be pretty emotional all right here is sailor's story i was actually born in my parents bedroom and i've lived here my whole entire life ever since hudson and i were little i have so many memories here i'm moving to california next to the beach i don't really know if i want to move i kind of want to stay here i love where we live we always have so much fun here we always walk into town to get ice cream or play at the playground we live close to new york city and it's lots of fun there i don't know what there is to do in l.a i have so many memories in this house hudson and i are always together we do everything together we cook together we've always celebrated our birthdays together here we got glasses together every halloween we trick or treat together we've grown up together when i found out i was moving i was really sad and i was crying i don't know anybody there i don't have any friends and i don't even know if i'll get to do gymnastics today is my last day of planathics i have a private [Music] all right my favorite event is beam a few months ago i could only do a backhand spring on the very low beam with a few mats there so it was just like the floor and i would always miss my hands but now i can do it on the high beam with one mat so they really helped me doing that they're really good at coaches and if you don't do something correct they can keep making you do it until you do do it correct and i like doing tumbling on the floor and i love doing my front hamstrings and i really like it because like they're very strict there they're not me but they're really strict they push you to do a lot if i don't do something or if i accidentally mess up then they just tell me it's okay and they help me a lot i said goodbye to my friends and it was really sad because i'm gonna miss them a lot and i don't know when i'm gonna see them again i got each girl a gift these are awesome rompers from sally miller and so i'm gonna put it somewhere for when they come tomorrow so they can open it and see salish is right there she thinks she's about to leave but jamie who owns galaxy actually got all of seriously teammates hiding around the corner they're about to surprise her i can't believe they surprised me today that was so awesome and i really like having friends so i can show my crazy and true self and they make me really happy i'm going to miss them a lot but i hope i get to come back and see them where i can come and visit them sometime hey are you ready for a competition two lines pick a dot six feet apart pick a dot now that you are six feet apart you are allowed by new york state law to take off your master take them off we are about to have an epic competition with an insane consequence jamie's going to give you the details and it's going to be this team against this team the winning team after everything's over is going to get to condition the losing team it will not be fun ac coach this team is kirsten this team is jamie the losing team's coach has to do the conditioning too you know you each have 30 seconds to name your team's goal stick it girls yes kirsten what is the name of your team team gigi what is the name of your team jeremy stick it girls girls okay guys we're gonna do five contests the best out of five is gonna win you ready round one headset contest are you ready just so in case you're not good at handstands i'm going to show you real quick okay here somebody help me with my legs [Applause] no walking if you fall you stay down the team to have the last person up is the winner one two three go no walking no walking stay there if you move come down if you walk come down stay up stay up stay up stand stay up another handstand contest this time you can walk last one up that team wins ready set go you can walk but stay up stay up stay up don't walk too far stay up we do handstand contests all the time with each other but now that i'm moving i don't know when i'm gonna see them again we promise to keep in touch on our phones and we're gonna text each other and we're gonna make days that we facetime every single day rounds and round three in the game of snicket yeah come on here we go [Music] stay [Music] you got it ella each coach picks one contestant their most flexible contestant ready set go let's go you're gonna put your front leg up on this block your back leg up on this block and we're going to see how close you can get to the floor in your good luck split rock paper scissors shoot all right i'm going to take a picture it's team stick it versus team gg here we go [Applause] taylor straighten the leg straighten the legs you guys are gonna do conditioning [Music] [Applause] oh my god we need to get a runoff competition between these two they both touch it okay we're gonna do a bridge and they're gonna push them into a bridge so they're gonna go down on the floor push up into a bridge and then slowly walk their hands and feet together we'll see who could get the closest it's gonna be there you go oh that's a cute moment yeah okay they both did it it is a time that run is entire time my friendship with them is very important because i've been with them for a very long time they've helped me get a lot of skills and just like mentally they've helped me and i think i've helped them a little bit and they make me laugh a lot and if i was just doing like gymnastics by myself with no one else then i wouldn't do gymnastics next round is giants each team gets one contestant team tickets first one she got five and a half we'll call it five if gg gets six they win okay two three four five one more she wins one more she wins team gg wins are you ready for the final round yeah cartwheel contest stick your girls go stay stay stay stay okay okay not bad we got four out of five there gg girls go oh it's another tie are you kidding me round two girls go and now gg girls [Applause] and now for the consequences don't stop yeah i'm so excited because now i get to give them their gifts in person if i do gymnastics in california i won't know anyone this might be the last time i see them for a long time oh my god that is adorable i'm really really really gonna miss them and it's really hard to say goodbye i love you guys you
