My Big Leaf Portland Cement Bird bath in Ga.U.S.A.

good morning I'm hailing from Georgia and I'm out here this early morning beautiful morning that the Lord has made I'm gonna start a new project and I'm going to make a birdbath big birdbath from elephant ears the big leaves that I have in my backyard growing I bought a bulb the book was about this big and I planted it and it came up with big leaves and I have no other leaves around here that grows like that but that's what I'm gonna use on my project is the big breeze up my elephant ear right there that uh don't beat my bird back so this get started on my project and see how it turns out and I use Portland cement it comes from Home Depot and it's very fine cement it's black flour it's just wonderful to work with and you put it in your pan and and and with georgous and of whatever sins you have this is Georgia saying because I live in Georgia and it comes off my dirt roads and that's what I use in water and you mix it up and you just create whatever you like and whatever you can but you have to try because you if you don't try I didn't know I could make anything out of cement because I've never done it before but I've tried it and I loved it and I'm so thankful that I did because I've enjoyed making all kinds of things out of cement and everyone can do it you just have to get out and I know some people probably can't get out and stir up see me and do all this but you can enjoy watching it being done and enjoy look at how it is done and I think I would if I couldn't do it I would love to I do I look at other people's videos how they do things and it's just very enjoyable i watch things all the time on youtube that how creative people are and i love it okay let's let's get around here now mix up my cement and get my help of ears and get started on this project thank cause I haven't used it and I don't want to get seen in all those ripped it witness put net over it but sand over it I need to go get a spray bomb bring it spray water on it wittle kind of stick where I put it [Music] this is an old basketball go back or something then I head out in a storage house [Music] let me get the leaf and see it oh my saying not long enough [Music] okay let's eat now Oh like I can't get enough okay this is a knife cuz that'll have to do a little Mole right over there I don't know you got any more oh my god hey I guess that'll do I'm gonna take this big thing here off okay this is my six cups of Portland cement its finest flour pour it in here where it won't you make the list okay six cups up georgeous and twelve cups all together six and six foot six up and then six more spoiled can you make the hey now you meet you water and I want it kind of not real tender and not real thick just make it up okay I'm only I think that's what I need right there okay got me a new battery in there now maybe it won't cut off get your cement own and see the little things of the leaves don't be in the cement this is very easy if you got a big lead put it on there and spread it out much greater want to cover all your leaves oh wait I'm I'm gonna try this right I'm gonna try to make some roughly energy I got this stuff right here that I'm gonna try to take the edge is a little and see if it'll make it ready I don't know if it will or not [Music] every sinew gap over there in the where the leap was that I didn't really want it there so I I put a little leap here so it would feel that gap up [Music] these little outside it just kind of got to be coming deep they can't be real real thin because it'll break okay I'm finished with it I don't know how to look but we have to wait and see I'll take it out of the mold when it gets dry a few days I don't know how long it'll take but when it gets dry I'll take it out and we'll see what it looks how it looks good gonna take it out of the mold now and see what happens I don't I don't have any idea what what its gonna do but we're gonna see together I guess so that's what I'm doing this morning just taking this out and having my coffee I hope everyone out there having some good old coffee this morning someone told me they have they watch my videos in the morning and they have coffee with me ain't that sweet thank y'all so much so let's get started this let's see if I can get this thing out and see how it loops all right let me get it up get to trying to take it out I don't know what kind of job that's gonna be I think it's gonna be a big one I found my chisel let's see now this thing ready get your hands around you it's kind of Haiti oh my goodness this is the little plastic stuff that I put on there to kind of make it be ruffled a little bit take the leaves all lose and never nothing a sip of coffee because this is this might be a big job this is this is a bird back that means a big one that's what I wanted so that's what I got I'm gonna take the leaves out and I'm gonna paint it and I'm gonna fix it so I think it's gonna be beautiful all right let's see if I can get the leaves out I'm not I get a little closer for y'all to see it real good Oh Oh yeah baby bag oh it's so pretty oh absolutely beautiful okay I'm gonna get my paint and things out so I'm gonna get my stuff ready to get it ready to paint okay now maybe get this sand off of this table I can do with it I'll set it right over here till I get table clean dog my shovel not the one I won't hit but get a hold of it let's get another bucket my bow is in good shape it wasn't hurt turn table up here save it don't hold this thing gracious yo you got to be in pretty good shape to do this big stuff like this just have another sip of coffee now coming over there with this big old thing fall down oh my goodness that is on my turntable y'all need to be up a little higher where y'all can see what's going on I think I'm gonna put it brown on the bottom it's this is not gonna be a green leaf I've already made it green leaf I don't want to make another green weed don't follow this times like I said it's not live he is holding this big old bird lair now this is acrylic paint you mix it with water and it's fast I've taken a lot of painters are big big project this is just the base coat not cut the color my lease is gonna be okay and queijo was wondering oh hey wash let me go wash my hands or enjoying it now a little bit but really paint I'm gonna try to sit down but I can't do anything sitting down I have to be standing up most of the time you get closer to me I better leave it where it is no I have to get up I said water that would not rush to things get another brush if it's gonna be all colors not gonna be dreamlike you're what move every six down I can't sit down and do nothing get up where I can see do the bottom hundred it's a long way around this thing that thing just keeps on going don't have to do much do it this get it where you want it oh right oh that's beautiful okay is that beautiful or what I think it's beautiful my camera cut off just a minute ago and I looked up and saw it and I turned it back on I wanted to let y'all get a good look at it I'm gonna turn it around and see I think y'all can see it it's so heavy my turntable is that awesome or what it's wonderful I keep seeing stuff and I need to quit because I guess I'm gonna come down and see if I can let you see the I'll let you look at the bottom of it all the way around okay that's all that's all this project is something I saw I'm gonna do to it and I'm so happy with it it is wonderful it's time for some ball leaves beyond the trees and some ovens already turn in a little but that's that's all yo thank you sealer on it this is my sealer that I use grout and tile sealer I'm gonna spray ceremony okay don't let that dry and before I stopped a little while ago I I decided that needed just a little bit of green so I put a little tiny bit of green in there I think it's still beautiful okay I'm gonna let this dry now and I'll be back and I'll make a picture with it so then I'll be through I think be back shortly [Music] goodness I hardly got room for me this is my finished project how beautiful is that it is just gorgeous I think it's just absolutely beautiful I think I think it is what y'all think okay this is my Venus Project and I want to let y'all see when I got got it finished it got it set up it's giant - and I put sealer on it and I'm trying to let y'all see it but it's a very it's kind of heavy I think it's absolutely beautiful I think it's gorgeous I think it's just just what this time of the year is fixing to be fall and all colors and I love it thank y'all so much for life for
