[Music] [Music] [Music] my [Music] so you are supposed to take the 20 mangoes and get the best put them in a basket and take them as a fast fruit so that was always the first harvest so anytime you plant and you have a fast harvest then that becomes the fast food and sometimes people will get also uh if an animal gave birth let's assume the animal gave birth last year and then the zeat also gives birth then that can also be given as a fast fruit it was the first harvest that's exactly what it is but now this is the first bone the one that breaks the womb it is set aside and it is separated and we'll come to see the law of the first bone so we begin to see the first bone consecrated and then moses now comes to the feast of the unleavened bread now living was considered as seen leaving was considered a sin it was a symbolism of sin and we begin to see that the feast of the living bread begins immediately after the passover because there is such a prophetic connotation here because it takes a redeemed man and a man that is forgiven to now walk in righteousness you see you can never have the feast of the unleavened bread without having the passover the passover symbolism of course there is a lot the first passover symbolism is about the blood of jesus that was shed on calvary and what was the essence of that blood the wages of sin is death so what did the blood do the blood wiped away our sins so the first place is the feast of the passover whereby there is the wiping of sin and the blood of jesus came to wipe and then after that now you are encouraged to walk in righteousness and walk in purity because that is exactly what the unleavened bread represent it represents the russia's walk and the righteousness that we walk into remember when our sins are wiped away then now we god begins to deal with us out of justification just as if we never seen he pardons our sin and that means we now begin a walk and that should be a walk of faith a walk of grace and a walk of righteousness so we see that the details of the unleavened bread and mosses say to the people remember this day in which you went out of egypt out of the house of bondage before you were born again you are in bondage you are in sin sin is a type of bondage now we have to read this in two way both in typology and in it so you say remember you are in bondage and then he says um a house of bondage for by strength of hand of the lord brought you out of this place because we don't get born again by our own ability the bible says no one comes unto the father unless called by the son in fact it takes the holy spirit to convict you of your sins the bible says that while you are yet sinners the lord loved you and even died for you so we begin to see the dealings of salvation does not even require our human effort it just requires our obedience and acceptance of the sacrifice otherwise when it comes to the forgiveness of sin when it comes to the justification and the patterning of sin there is no effort needed you just need to match in by faith no sacrifice you can give greater than that of calvary and so we begin to see this parallelism uh that by strength of hand uh um of hand the lord brought you out of this place no living bread shall be eaten on this day you are going out in the mouth of habib there are different months in i think 10 of them uh it's only that today we have 11 12 months because we are using the calendar of the gregorian which is roman in nature but the jewish calendar had 10 months and and these 10 months i used to have 30 days and these 30 days um or because they use the lunar system so in the mount of habib and it shall be when the lord brings you into the land of the canaanites and the heathens and the amorites and the herbicide and the jebusites which you sow to your father to give you and i'm flowing with milk and honey that you shall keep this service in this month so we begin to see that these festivals were very key as a reminder of what the lord did to them but in the new testament jesus fulfilled all the festivals jesus became the passover lamb uh during the feast of harvest which was pentecost uh jesus poured the holy ghost that was the real harvest the feast of booth which was supposed to be the one for celebrating the ark and the wilderness so jesus fulfilled all these feasts because they all pointed to him jesus became our righteousness but ideally it is good to look at them and the typology and appreciate because there is a lot of meaning to it and it tells them so to your fathers to give your land flowing with milk and honey that you shall keep this service in the month and he tells them seven days you shall eat unleavened bread and on the seventh day there shall be a feast to the lord so for seven days you eat bread without living living is what most of the times causes the bread to uh to fura cutting but sometimes um when you buy bread you discover that there's there's too much spaces in between so and this is exactly what sin does you know it just blots you and and makes you uh unnecessarily big uh you know so the point here was the eating of unleavened bread was dead it was a reminder of the holy walk that these people ought to walk and to remind themselves about the deliverance from egypt the passover because it was the feast of the passover then the feast of course it was these feasts were very much connected the feast of their living bread and the feast of the passover just to remind them about the holy conduct that was supposed to walk in but even in this we see they ended up with a celebration and for me that communicates that walking in graciousness and holiness is not a boring affair it is we celebrate because the righteousness we have is not our own it is even the holy ghost that gives us the strength to work and to stand rashes and to stand upright and you shall tell your sons in the day in that day this is done because of what the lord did for me when i came up from egypt it shall be assigned to you on your hand and as a memorial between your eyes that the lord law may be in your mouth for with a strong hand the lord had brought you out of egypt you shall therefore keep this ordinance in its season from ear to ear so they're supposed to obey that particular ordinance and do it from ear to ear now remember all these miracles the lord did them not just for the generation that saw the miracles these signs and wonders were supposed to be communicated for generations to come so that when the patriarchs and the fathers speak about god they have ground that they are basing their argument off they have seen him and egypt sorry the deliverance from egypt was such a big deliverance that you know you couldn't just bypass it and overlook it this was historical up to date it is still a historical moment and a historical event that still communicates the majesty the sovereignty the power and the authority of our lord jesus christ and i mean of the lord looking at the whole system and what the lord did so we begin to see that he says consecrate for me set apart anything that opens the womb we are coming now to the law of redemption of the first born and then there is the feast of the uneven bread and this feast comes immediately after the passover because we are first washed by the blood and then i'll begin to walk holy and this walk is not a boring walk it is a work we ought to celebrate as we walk in this walk because there is an understanding and we already know there is a capacity given unto us by our lord to walk right the holy ghost will give you that capacity and now this is a very contentious issue because the people who believe in the redeeming of the fastballs but let's let's let the bible speak and it shall be when the lord brings you into the land of the canaanite as his sword to you and your fathers and give it to you that you shall set apart to the lord all that open the womb that is every first born that comes from an animal which you have the male shall be the lord but every firstborn of a donkey you shall be dealing with the lamb if you will not redeem it then you shall break its neck so in the economy of israel the animals are divided into two and a donkey there represents the unclean animals and then we have the clean animals so the if if if you have an unclean animal that you're breeding uh like donkeys who are beasts of burdens so if there it says all the fast bonds all both of the clean and unclean but you cannot redeem an unclean animal with an unclean animal meaning that you couldn't take a donkey because this redeeming meant to give a sacrifice so you couldn't use something that was unclean as a sacrifice so if you had a donkey you are supposed to use a clean animal to redeem it and if it is not redeemed then you break its back i mean its neck because it doesn't belong to you it belongs to the lord so this was the principle that the lord was applying when he was dealing with the fast bones whatever came out as the first born now the big intention of jehovah god was that these first borns were supposed to be the priests of their homes the mandate of priestlyhood was given to the fastballs even as they were leaving egypt the lord had a divine agenda with the firstborns and that's why they were redeemed that's why they were redeemed but we begin to see when they came to the wilderness the levites the tribe of levi are contended you remember that time will come to that story when they came exalted a golden calf and there was contention and the tribe of levy rose with the hang of the lord and the lord said now the tribe of levi shall be the tribe that will carry the mandate and the mantle of the priestly hood this will be the people that will serve me so there was a demand upon everything that opened the womb of the firstborn and this is the demand that the lord placed and so naturally god did not need human sacrifice so if you got a child a son you are not supposed to go and take the sun to the altar there was the system of redeeming so you will take a sacrifice just to redeem the sun because the sun belongs to the lord and so it continues here to give us so it shall be when your sons ask you in time to come saying what is this that you shall say to him by strength of hand of the lord brought us out of egypt out of the house of bondage and it came to pass when pharaoh was stubborn about letting us go that the lord killed all the first born in the lamb of egypt both the first born of man and the first born of beast therefore i sacrifice to the lord all males that open the womb but all fast bones of my sons i redeem it shall be as a sign on your hand and as from uh frontlets between your eyes for by the strength of the hand the lord brought us out of egypt now that was the redeeming of the first born and anything that was anything that came out fast among the jews was supposed to be redeemed and there was a specific sacrifice that was given just to redeem the first bomb because the lord said consecrate that name consecrate means set apart and that's where we began the first bonds were set apart and then for them now to continue in service and in works then the first bonds were supposed to be redeemed and that is to redeem us to say this one belongs to the lord but i'm trying to buy the child back to me so that i can enjoy uh you know the services of that particular child and that's why they took a sacrifice and they took an offering to redeem the first bone and anything that was born fast may it be a goat a cow or a chicken that one was taken as an offering unto the lord whatever was not clean then you had to take a different sacrifice of a clean animal to replace this which was not a clean animal in the example of a donkey and so this was a reminder to them of how the lord dealt with the fast bones of pharaoh and how the lord preserved israel god considered the whole of israel as his own firstborn but here he makes a demand now i know a lot has been said about the first born and the reality is um fast bonds are very key at homes because they influence a lot they have the ability to generate patterns they have the ability to be to come up with orders that are not of the lord they can be hijacked any time and sometimes there's always a contention among fastballs but at the end of the day the assignment of god in a family cannot be stopped because the firstborn missed it that one we need to understand the assignment of god in a family cannot be stopped if the first bone missed it god has the power to raise the second bone the third bone or even the last bone to do his divine assignment but it is also key to understand if you're a fastball you carry a lot of weight as a leader as a role model because whatever you do unknowingly or knowingly many that follow you will find themselves doing the same so there's always a burden among fastball and this is the call i mean the controversy ideally a firstborn is always the most loved because you know this is the first child the first experience uh as parents this is the first child and so there is a lot of attachment uh to this particular child and uh not all fast bones but some fast bones also go astray because of excessive love you know for lack of a better word they were spoiled and so they got everything they needed and so some of them grow in a very unbalanced society some firstborn also because of uh where they were born they end up taking responsibilities very early and they end up maturing not even at the age that they desire and there's always of course there's a lot of battle for all children one thing i've come to discover is that the destiny of every child is as unique as their lives yes i know fast bones play a key role in a few things because of leadership and because you know if you have a fast bone the second bone will automatically follow the first bone but i tell you the truth when it comes to matters destiny every child is unique and every child is unique because of the destiny they carry that's when parenting they will tell you never compare a child to another now why am i giving all this conversation because um there are people who still teach about the redemption of the fastball and when we look at the old testament there are people who also now go further and teach the cause of the first born i've said it very clearly if there is an assignment in your family that was to be carried by a fastball god will give grace and the first born will carry it if the first born does not do it god has the ability to raise another person and um i know some fast bonds go through a lot because uh especially where there's a lot of gapping and they're young ones and you know you happen to have succeeded and sometimes you carry the burden of the family and and it's not a cause it's just out of leadership i also know lost bones who carry burdens of everybody even their first bones who failed in life so for me i believe that the assignment of a family can be given to anybody and so there are people who've taken this scripture and they have laid a foundation of what they call the redemption of the first born um the age and the time we are living in these scripture may not resonate with us as per now this was a memorial to the children of israel concerning the deliverance from egypt now today we know the passover was a picture and a type and the passover for us is calvary and in the passover that we received in calvary uh of course jesus did not come to abolish the law but there are few things that were readjusted you cannot redeem a first born today by goats the only thing that can redeem a first born is by the blood of jesus i know people who come and give and say pastor i want to redeem the fastball but they also people who come and give and say pastor this is a special offering because of this fastball now those are different stories if you give an offering because of your child and because there are things you're believing god for then no problem but if you are redeeming that firstborn then you are out of scripture because ideally this was a type this was a type because today when you are celebrating the passover we don't slaughter sheep we don't apply blood on the doorpost because it was a type it was a type and jesus came and fulfilled it otherwise then we need to come and say every passover you need a sheep without blemish and you need to slaughter it and this is how it was slaughtered and you need to hang it get the blood roast it whole eat it whole and then celebrate the passover but it was a picture it was a type the old testament is full of typologies it was a type and we see the concept of the firstborn being consecrated ended when the children messed up with the golden calf that that concept was interrupted there because now god saw a people that carry his wrath the reason why they were consecrated with the lord is because this was supposed to be the priest of families and was supposed to carry that legislation but when this was hijacked as they exalted the golden calf god relayed the mandate of priestly hood upon the tribe of levy and those are the ones who are set apart now for the dealings of the lord and of course the language here was when you get in that promised land do this as a symbol of remembrance but indeed the lord delivered us and spared us and the first bones were killed so if you want to give an offering for your child there is no problem but we cannot redeem fastballs we only have one system of redemption and that is the blood of calvary and uh you know it's good i see people who give sacrifices for their children i even see i know a lady who who said you know i tied and i tied for my children as early as now and out of her own revelation and i know people who even this was the secret of job he will sacrifice for his children it was the secret of elekana that every year he will go to the temple and sacrifice for his children covenant with their destinies and it was out of that continuous going to the temple that a divine opportunity opened for the womb of hannah to be open the man had an early visit to go and sacrifice unto the lord we also see the same thing you know happen with job he will repent on their behalf unless they are fallen and they will release sacrifices so so sometimes i read the bible and i say these are wisdoms that can be carried out we may not build a doctrine out of it but these are wisdoms once in a while you just give a special offering on behalf of your children and say lord i give on behalf of these children i covenant with their destiny i cover unto their future covenant with what you want to do with their lives i covenant these ones cannot be poor they will not end up in drugs and i release this offering lord as a worship unto you not as a bride as a worship unto you on behalf of my family these are just secrets and principles that you can apply so if you are a first born and you are not redeemed and maybe you're going through a tough time it doesn't mean that that's the reason why if you're a firstborn i know first bones majority some of you don't even know the whole language of redemption so ideally and i know you know these are some of the scriptures that become good entry points for fundraising i call it fundraising because if it's not in the bible and i'm trying to push you towards giving simply because um i'm trying to call the bible then that is not an offering that's a fundraiser you you are literally raising money for the person who is twisting scriptures so that it can fit a certain conversation and i've seen people uh you know pay the redemption uh money and all that and and in israel it was a specific thing it's something that they gave so let the bible be the bible and i'm not here to condemn anyone i also know there people uh because of where god permitted them to operate in revelation this was something they walked in but i want to believe that we grow in revelation daily and as we grow in revelation some things we begin to look at them and we realize wow this was not biblical and i can't blame anyone there are things also i used to do and as i continue to learn the scripture i discovered this is not very right because we grow daily in the word of god then it came to pass when pharaoh had let the people go now you can see pharaoh let the people go that god did not lead them by the way of the land of the philistines although that was near for god said lest perhaps the people change their mind when they see war and return to egypt now we need to get this very clear there are different channels out of egypt them that study this thing with the map they can show you and by the way the pathway that they were supposed to take was the easiest it was the easiest it was the shortest and then there was the pathway of the red sea in fact there is the red sea and there is the red sea this is a place full of reeds and they say that area is where is where the soldiers of pharaoh used to guard because it was a border and because it was a read see read see it reads um it was easy there they would have passed possibly in a very shallow area not directly where they passed their their area is not as deep as the sea so possibly they would have passed and just get out and so because of that read scene the philistines on the other side the egyptian army were also on this side and that's why the bible says it says lest perhaps the people change their mind when they see war when they see war not when they fight this was a highly contentious area the philistines were there the egyptians on this other side and so number one these guys are coming not from an area of war these are ordinary slaves that are making bricks in egypt so they have no military power they have no military capacity and so the lord has to take them out of pathways that could start conflict or even expose them as an enemy to be attacked so he he does not take them through that path and what does that tell me god knows our capacities and god knows our abilities god cannot permit you to go through a path that you have no grace to handle and that is why in life no matter how hard the circumstances are there is always an ability in you to endure some of us the things you are going through we can't go through them we will die we can't even go through a day of your life we have no grace we have no capacity and this is outright god will never allow you to go through something that is beyond your ability and i remember one preacher was preaching to me when i was in campus and he said when you see challenges come your way they are confirming the grace and the capacity you carry so don't focus on the challenge look at yourself and say lord i am well able you cannot throw this to me or you cannot permit this to come to me if i don't have the strength and that really changed my perspective about looking at challenges and tribulations because i discovered i am in god i am of god he can't permit me the lord knew these people cannot survive sins of war neither can they also fight so let me not take them through this pathway but let me lead them through a different way and the next pathway was now the way of the red sea uh some liberal people will say the red sea was very shallow and a joke is always made about a preacher who went to church and he was preaching and he said you know moses never opened any sea never departed that was a very shallow the water reached at their knee level they crossed comfortably through the sea and the woman in the middle shouted hallelujah and the preacher was looking at the woman wondering why are you shouting hallelujah and the woman said because the man was trying to say there is no miracle in crossing the red sea these people went to any level water it was not even deep they just crossed on feet so the woman said hallelujah the man said what do you mean why are you shouting hallelujah i you don't see the miracle how can the armies of pharaoh drown in water that was reaching them half feet and so we talk about these people who are very liberal they read a lot of scientific arguments and they want to look very relevant this was a real see and the lord made a way in that sea and they walked through the dry land so we begin to see that um god is very specific when we are going through the pathway of life in the path of your destiny god will not permit you to go through something that is beyond your capacity no even what you're going through right now the reason why it has not killed you is because you have grace look yourself straight in the mirror and say i am going through this because the lord knows i have the strength the grace and capacity and i'm coming out with a testimony um and then we begin to see so god led the people around by the way of the wilderness of the red sea and then in that wilderness and the children of israel went up in orderly ranks out of the land of egypt it was not just a movement and this portrays the leadership ability of moses you have 2 million people walking and you have the ability to create some ranks and some order as they are leaving egypt and they walk and you have count of every member this is real time leadership we can see orderly and rank there meaning that there was a lot of coordination and organization our god is not an odd of chaos is an order of order and moses took the bones of joseph with him for he had blessed the children of israel and the solemn odds saying god will surely visit you and you shall carry up my bones from here with you this communicates a serious reality and what is the reality being communicated here the reality being communicated here is the reality of that the lord now uh kept his promise the lord kept his promise 400 years later or even 430 or 40 years later god visits israel joseph died and joseph died and his bones were kept and generation after generation came and i want to believe they used to see the bones of joseph and they will remind one another guys there is hope for us joseph said that he ought to be buried where his father was and he says that god made a covenant and said that he shall take us to a land flowing with milk and honey though it stayed according to the timeline in the appointed time that time of deliverance happened this was a prophetic moment joseph saw it in the spirit he knew that this is not our home one day we are going to leave this place he was very prophetic and they carried the balls the same way we look at the empty trump of jesus and we know there is hope of our resurrection it may tarry it may stay but one day we know when the trumpet sounds that will be translated into new bodies and will carry new beings and we shall be with our glorious bodies and this is just to show you the faithfulness of god and to show you that god will always keep his covenant with his own and you shall god will surely visit you and you shall carry up my bones from here uh with you so this was an assurance the presence of the bones of joseph was an assurance that jehovah god was going to visit them and not leave them like that this is you know it's just amazing the presence of the holy ghost in us is an assurance that god has already deposited uh something in us so they took their journey from sarcophagus and camped in a farm at the edge of the wilderness and the lord went before them by day in a pill of cloud to lead the way and by night in a pill of fire to give them light so as to go by day and night he did not take away the peel of cloud by day or the pillar of fire by night from before them now they were walking through the wilderness one of the things that is known of desert-like environment is heat very hot during the day and very cold during the night the winds because the land is bare not trees nothing so the the desert like kind of environment is very cold at night because the wind just blows and very hot during the day god became a cloud to shield them from the hot rays of the sun and the lord became a pillar of fire to warm them during the night hour and this was the assurance of his presence and what does the presence of god do it makes our way to the promised land easy and listen it doesn't take away the process we will still walk in the wilderness but we will not suffer the sun neither suffer the nightwing because the presence of god isn't the process but does not nullify the process it would have been easier for them to be carried by the cloud it would have been easier for them to be carried by the fire but he still led them in the wilderness of sinai because in that leading under the presence is where we develop capacity lessons are taught and we see the power of god so what we need to understand is that the promises of god are yes and the men they have a timeline god is not a man to lie looking at the and the coughing of joseph we also need to know god will never lead you where you cannot survive he's not a god of excommunication we also begin to see also out of this that at the end of the day god will isen the process by giving you grace but god will not eliminate the process he promised canaan but he never made the journey automatic and these are lessons that we ought to learn in life that yes god has promised great and wondrous things but he won't eliminate the process but he will give you grace to go through the process and one day you will enter where the lord had ordained you to enter father we bless you and we thank you lord even as we read this story these are real stories about real people and we find relevance in every verse and every chapter some of us are in the wilderness may they leave their eyes and see your cloud and your peel of fire as you said you'll never leave us for forsake us some of us oh god you have hindered us from the pathway of warfare we don't even know why we couldn't take that shortcut but you knew that there are wars and we are not capable and trained enough to handle war tonight lord i pray that let our eyes be opened to know that there is nothing that we are going through that is beyond our capacity to handle your grace will keep us and your grace will give us the ability to endure and to overcome let the understanding of process be a part of us that we cannot run away neither can we nullify the process no matter how anointed we are give us the grace to continue and none of us will drop the towel we will enter the place of establishment will stand on zion to lift your name in jesus name we have believed and prayed well thank you very much for everybody that has tuned in and being a part of this
