MLB 20 Road to the Show - Part 25 - Team is Falling Apart 😫

what's up guys and welcome back to our road to the show so we are a few weeks into our first major league season and we've been putting in work man we are really getting it done so I think we're becoming even more of a man BAM checking out our mustaches fill it in I think we could change up some of our other appearance options here just to kind of switch things up a little bit so for our glove here I think we're gonna swap the colorway you guys can see we've got orange and navy currently going on I feel like it looks pretty legit cuz obviously gloves are kind of an orangish tannish color so that looks pretty good but I'm gonna try if we just flip flop them so we're gonna put everything currently Orange as Navy and everything currently Navy is orange definitely to make our batting gloves look a little bit better too we haven't really messed with this all that much so we're gonna do a mix of Navy and orange through here see what we can get to look the best I feel like I feel like that looks pretty good right there hat and helmet I mean we've got to change up to a major league helmet here I'm gonna say we definitely don't want minors we want the mock Pro we want the basic do we want the protective the ventilated feel like the ventilated looks pretty good let's go ahead and take off one of our helmet flaps as well obviously that right flap isn't really is it really necessary we can't get a chin guard but nah we aren't a baby tar on the helmet we could have a little tar on there all right looking looking pretty good we're gonna keep our same hat and everything okay feel like it's uh we're starting to look pretty good here could throw an armband on here kind of like that if we want wristbands probably not wrist guards okay that's that's looking pretty good sleeves and tape do you want any sort of sleeves for like the sleeves could actually look kind of coamo to put I'm gonna put a 3/4 sleeve on each one it goes down to the armband that actually looks pretty that looks pretty nice I like that I wear I kind of like our I wear at the governor leave it cleats I do like our cleats I think they look pretty fresh I don't think it's time to change those and catching gear doesn't matter alright let's go ahead and save it we've got a couple of little little minor physical upgrades for us and let's see what we've got on the docket today we've got a three-game series against the Blue Jays they're 9 & 8 let's get after it so they sat us out in that first game and wouldn't you know what the team took the L here we are in game number two it's at the bottom of the second we're already down five to nothing yikes we've got our work out ahead of us here horsey man slider and cutter and a splitter let's let's just get things started little by little I mean we could do it every every inch counts you know what I mean we just we got to put some work in we got to get on base we got to kind of rally the troops here try to get a nice nice you know hot starts the game to see what you do tonight they're definitely in a nice stretch as they've won six of their last seven ball game Oh II can't pick it up chased the cutter outside he's gonna end up dropping that ball we're gonna get on base by the manthang by the pin of ours when he just pants I don't know what what's what's the what's the saying fourth at the edge of our seat I'm not sure what I was going for there but yeah we barely got in there it's what I'm trying to say looks like we are gonna get in there cleanly in two second we're in scoring positions and we've got three outs to work with alright this is exactly what I'm talking about this is what we needed just slow us steady wins the race do our thing or choosing let's see what Correia can do here they can drive em in now and chip away at that deficit that's now we're looking for but we're gonna be fine we're gonna be we're gonna be just just fine trust in the process faster come on Ralph in the contest last would have been great all right here we go now top the third we've got two men on one man out that I have to turn to here let's make a good play still have our work cut out for us definitely not the start to this game that we are looking for there it is beautiful about doing it you guys remember our last episode we kind of try to let our picture cover that and we we messed it up so that time we didn't mess it up as long as we're continuing to evolve and grow and get better gonna be trying to turn it to here again do they are just extending their lead this is getting ugly six to zero right now this is not territory that we're used to house a long double play right there edge of third all the way to second back around up first here we go bottom of the fourth got a guy in scoring position game so I'm not upset by that I do like playing some D every now and then fielded cleanly go ahead and clean that out there himself for the out alright top of the fifth got a guy in second base one out should have shut down the in scoring position with soo gone Alec not gonna let him score here not gonna let them extend this lead any longer towards first go ahead and get that tag a mouth come on boys we've still got half a game to play we can bring this back they did it to us at the start we can do it to them at the end but we've really got to get these bats rolling we need a crazy rally get those rally caps on and let's let's get it poppin zoomed out the second man hand that's unfortunate I was really hoping second was going to be able to be able to make that play but he wasn't now what I mean like things are still looking good but they can quickly turn around if we don't turn things around here so I've got a bit of a secret weapon here a little ace up our sleeve you guys know our our moustache got a little thicker at the start of this and they think something else started to grow brow here what's uh what's a little a little not where I was going with that all right he's four-seam curveball changeup at a two-seamer up by one bottom of the second with nobody on and nobody out first pitch on its way it's a high fly ball headed for the left-field that's foul dang it dude are you kidding me if we would've hit a home run right off the bat I would have lost my mind here we go that's a shame it had plenty of distance but we'll be able to get on base look at that double perfect timing double perfect location prediction on those pitches that's what I'm talking about is it I wish that second one would have had a little bit more carry to it but a ball from me we're gonna be alright I'm gonna go ahead and steal this bag here at least we're gonna predict or not predicting prevent the double play and it's here we go we're on second base got a couple of outs to work gonna be looking for the two out play here let's be smart about this it's too our thing we are just gonna go straight to first let's get the double play four one one more out gets us out of this your three runner dude we've had so many opportunities so many opportunities for Grand Slams and not a single one has worked out I would be interested to know how many bases loaded situations have ended up with us not getting a hit really not doing anything I feel like it's most of them I feel like I've put so much pressure on myself to get that Grand Slam I just had to IBEW I lose lose oh sure that's for sure good stretch there we'll get it home just to kind of stretch the arm a little bit keep it loose and we're gonna be fine dude let's let's bring it back bottom of the fifth we're down by two forcing curveball changeup two-seam got a guy on first base and two outs let's turn this back here changeup Matty good arm action on that let's earn this back here centerfield racing back the centerfielder it's up onto the train tracks that's happened numerous times in this game bro like what I feel like I want to go back and look at how many times we choked on a bases loaded situation and then came back and went off and the next at-bat I feel like it happens every time this game is it I don't know if there's any other game that gets in my head as much as this one does and you like you legitimately perform as well as your your outlook and your confidence is this thing just throws me for a loop bro that was a bomb this guy up on the train tracks I don't know what that train did to us but we took him out took out that that left wheel right there and man that was that was look at this we can watch from the dugout swings and it said we're gonna skip that though alright tie ball game 3-3 a boy came up clutch with the squads we're going to be happy with that ball would have been nice for it to be a grand slam and us to take the lead but unfortunately beggars can't be choosers I thought we caught that I thought that was a liner but we'll step in the bag anyway and here we go top of the seventh up next to be played a little bit more defense yeah I do feel like we've had some good defense in this this episode so that's been kind of fun and a bunt for a base hit here boy you're just asking for a tag to the chassis that ended up too bad they won't even let you run up and tag the runners I'd do that if I could but they don't let you do it when it's that close Bob with the 7th are we to be able to come up clutch again we've got two outs one man on on first pretty much the same situation four-seam slider changeup at a two-seam that's outside way outside my goodness Danny lays off here we got want to know this is why pitching is so difficult your crew to give up a hit now you've got the lock-in and get this middle part of the order done Oh slow change up dude I just I love them every time I swing at him every time we got to work on that focus up czev that's outside to one count all right good looks good looks I haven't had a strike yet it's impossible go ahead we haven't had a hittable pitch yet oh my gosh four balls in a row what are you doing bro give me something a hit here what am i doing I'm chasing that's that's the bigger problem Trev that's inside three two count he hasn't put a single ball over the plate here first we're five pitches in and we haven't had a good look yet somehow we've got a full count because I'm an idiot that's outside I mean it's not a bad idea what two out of that team no he's gonna you know we were so showing that we were potentially chasing so they thought they might have a three-strike out but it didn't work out for him to Cory Cory Cory Cory Cory oh dude that was pretty close I'm not gonna lie there's nothing we could do there fielder's choice man three yells at our elves and they squads fall apart I don't know what else to say we're playing well we've been playing well the entire time but that I mean we just lost all three games against the Jays here is four to three though that was not good today all right I'm gonna see you guys in tomorrow's episode I mean I hate to be honest if anything and I said this would be in the last episode I do like that we're starting to see a little bit more of a rocky road it's not fun if you win everything so we'll take our punches and keep rolling and hopefully you
