MLB 20 Road to the Show - Part 28 - HIT BY PITCH!

what's up guys today we are headed up to the Pacific Northwest and we are you to be taking on the Seattle Mariners in a three-game series I believe we'll see how this works out we're coming in eighteen and eight these guys are nine and sixteen so far this season they're having a rough go at it and man I've I've got a feeling we're gonna be able to really put some work in and maybe embarrass them in front of their home crowd but I guess we'll see what's going on here Marco Gonzalez's five starts so far he's one and two with the 450 er a very great not awful and nothing nothing crazy we're gonna be able to work with this though hopefully we're gonna be able to put a nice little hitting performance together at the amount of power swing to drive it a run you guys already know that's what we're going for can turn it around we've got some low walls out there in the outfield I love to see that here we go seeker changeup cutter and a curveball the first pitch here it comes whoo changeup got out in front of that thing had it not a nice look at it and had a nice piece of it but unfortunately just a little bit early down Oh one on the couch three so he's that's low and away be able to lay off nice and easy for us fellas you take a look at the Seattle Mariners we got to start a play here tonight they come in scuffling a bit of late just that's inside be able to lay off that one got a 2-1 lead in the count perk active ours today to drive to the stadium focused on got a power swing get at least like a strong singles the fact that they needed to check to you that's involved there T there we go I said I'm talking about three one count we did a strong single you know shoot the gap in the outfield or something like that is what we're gonna be gonna be looking for there it is that'll get it done that is going to be a power swing to bring in a run maybe two is he gonna know he's not gonna cross third let's take a nice little RBI double to start things up not quite the first swing hit of the games that we had last time but we'll take it we hung in there how to bat and when they lit it up ended up getting that done that's what I'm talking about right you got one out here keep on a couple of opportunities to guys in scoring position this could be exciting for Carlos Houston looking for more here and just gonna get walk there for a 1-1 count all right Carlos strike let's get something popping here dude let's get off to a really good start here in the first one mmm 2-1 count a life are we not do we not have it set up so that we're skipping to the action it might not be set up for that in my heart I think we're seeing every pitch here screwed short I mean it makes it honestly it makes it a little bit more intense because we don't really know what's gonna happen we're kind of waiting we're waiting we're waiting we don't know if we should run or what it's not guaranteed that we're gonna get some action so it looks like although we had seven the next appearance on interesting I don't know why it did that anyway bases-loaded hey Oscar Hernandez let's see what you got brother please do not do not get yourself in a double play situation no grounders in the infield whack that ball you got a pro you got a problem going around there's no way his gun can beat me there's no way lose there it is that's gonna be a two-run single and game and we are up to a 300 lead to start this game off top of the second get a guy at first base we've already made our way through the lineup again gonna have a second chance here okay that is a well hit ball and that's gonna bounce off the wall and he's gonna stay it there we're just gonna go into the chilling here in second dude it is crazy double how fast we are compared to our teammate or just doing laps around the bases we catch up to them so quickly you did over the right fielders and art the guy that's third in the lineup should be decently fast obviously he's not our leadoff guy but he should have a little bit of speed towards this is sent towards second rained it looks like that's that's gonna put it into the inning we had some exciting opportunities there but it's not gonna be enough alright we're 2 for 2 in the day coming up to bat top of the fifth got a guy in scoring position same picture here in Gonzales he's starting to get a little bit tired looks like his most confidence is in that sinker Yahoo dude that wouldn't hurt oh they got him at thirds come on man that bounced off his knee though bro that was a rocket that would have hurt so bad hi Carlos 3 2 count got one out I want to take off just for fun we had a pretty pretty slow jump there I'm not gonna lie but he's gonna get walked anyway that's what I'm talking about two men on one man out Oh two count yeah let's go came up a little bit short last time you're gonna end up short here - oh that's got some power on it you see young vinegar nope you can't make the ground rule double interesting that's a break all right it's been scoring it's been a weird a weird day that's for sure honestly that's probably worst case scenario we were gonna get double regardless the runner on first probably would have been able to get around and get home their suit I had an RV I that's uh that's really unfortunate honestly maybe a good good play out of him though Oh we'll pull them off the dish at home we're gonna end up scoring and save the out okay I'm not gonna say it Mendoza you're over three in the day and you hit a home run here you type tie this ballgame up do it do it do it we'll take it dude oh my goodness all right we're actually starting to rally a little bit here hold on I'm gonna I'm gonna take it off I'm gonna take it off silly dance we're gonna watch this and see what happens I was just watching from the dugout trying to be a good teammate trying to support looks like that's gonna be a foul ball I mean this is kind of cool dude this is this chill I mean this is the one of the best one of the best angles in the ballpark that's for sure we can just sit here all day long maybe trying to pick garden-party episodes would be a lot longer that's for sure but I kind of want to see what happens here rather than just swimming to the end we kind of kind of spearheaded a bit of a rally here we'll see if we can even get something goin strikes I believe in you jack I believe anybody I know you're the 8/8 batter in our lineup which isn't the best I know you're definitely not the best hitter in our lineup but I do believe in you I know you've got heart I know you've got spunk a screwed I know you're gonna be able to do something here we got a 3-1 count every okay in a close game like this really matters so see if we can work with this three passes this late down the left Oh foul dude that thing was deep that had a good a good pop to it the final pitch here come on baby he got what it's up to the ninth man in our lineup this is crazy dude bases loaded top of the ninth we're down by two miles straw for three on the day I mean really all we need here dude we just we need a single to the outfield but that's gonna bring second and third home like this is a great scenario we just need an outfield single and just hustle 1-1 that's all we need oh he thought about that one-two count dude if you strike out the chance to drive in a run you're gonna have to make something happen I'm gonna be upset come on dick now for Houston stay it'll I'm sorry I didn't realize we were gonna end up going through three batters here guys hopefully you guys are enjoying this I just legitimately want to know what happens
