House Flipper - Part 21 - Ultimate Underground Bunker

what's up guys and welcome back at to house flipper today we are gonna be checking out another client request so uh we did one recently where we kind of like basically redid the aunt's house and we don't have any new ones coming in so I'm hoping that eventually we're gonna get new ones I think it's kind of like I like building my own and completely doing my own thing but I think it's kind of fun to see what people want done as well and I'm hoping that we aren't getting down towards the end of this but we're going to go for the bunker when I look through them this would look pretty interesting so this is from Steve Marriner hello we bought a house with a hidden post-war bunker the previous owner didn't appreciate what we had done and made it a storage room we care about safety and the weather in this part of the country gives us some concern we have renovated the house but it's for the bunker we want to have it done by a professional can we count on you equipping it appropriately the tornado is something even worse would hit we want a safe place where we could stay for several weeks until it's safe again I'd several weeks that seems a little bit a little bit insane that that's a little bit much but I could definitely make something happen let's get it all right so this is the house nice nice friendly little one-story here nothing too crazy looking for the the actual bunker entry I don't even see oh oh it's right here all right so that it's it's outside there I'm gonna do a little snooping in the house too just to see what they've got going on all right this is nice dude I really like these cabinets with this couch and those shelves dude that whoa these are all the L shelves too and they they totally that's cool I like what they've done with that that's that's a cool effect we're gonna have to remember that dude this looks nice though I really liked this kitchen going with this kitchens got a cool backsplash to it we've got a little dining room table I mean it's a small house but I feel like they've done well with the space for sure what's over in here but oh there's the bunker entry so we get the bedroom we've got this dude this is pretty cool it'll store itself alright here's this little office it's going to open this thing up dude all this looks gross oh my goodness alright so we're gonna be removing stuff and cleaning stuff as well as painting it let's see oh this is the second bedroom third bedroom and [Music] then a fourth room that's a bathroom dude this is kind of cool this is way bigger than I expected alright we are gonna have to go ham here he doesn't want us to remove everything but he wants for us to remove most things like those those orange things right there he doesn't want us to remove but he wants us to get everything else that doesn't really make sense I guess maybe since that's the stuff that's not completely trashed this is a storage room for these people are like a drinking shenanigans place this is insane so many bottles and stuff all over the place there's an axe a couple of axes here okay they want to keep this shelving unit get rid of all of this what kind of bottles are these look like wine bottles kinda get rid of that oh this just gonna gonna hit it with the removal and then we're gonna go through and we're gonna clean with our mop okay cool so we got that now that's gonna be time to clean let's get it boys he's gonna want us to put in a shower and stuff all right that's gonna be cool I'm down for it I like that idea we've got a four bedroom bunker here too this is honestly kind of intense get rid of that come through here get rid of all this I wish you wanted us to add a little bit more stuff down here I think I'm think I'm gonna hook him up he seems like a cool dude all right so what do you guys think should we just start with paint looks like he wants white paint pretty much all throughout so we're just gonna grab some white paint once white in here white in here white in here and wall tiles in here interesting all right we can work with that here we go boys should be interesting I feel like we're gonna have to add some more lights to the lighting down here is looking a little bit weak unless it's not on I'm trying to turn on the switch it's not working does the switch network it just doesn't work weird this paints so fast now dude I love it oh we could go all the way up to the ceiling I've never painted a rounded wall before this is interesting dude this is gonna be such a cool such a cool spot imagine if this is where your gaming setup was or something he's so sick have like a a movie theater down here or something I totally want to find a house that like a prepper previously had and they have one of these things and just use it as that I'd be so sick and it double is a sense of protection and in case there's a zombie apocalypse or something I don't know move it in here we're gonna have to move some of these shelving units and stuff I don't really want them hanging out in the middle of our bunker this gotta get these two I'm gonna take this seriously boys I'm gonna try to actually make this thing pretty sick we'll see we can do it seems like he wants this to be the best room the the bedroom he's got like requirements for dressers and stuff like that but yeah I think I think this is gonna be pretty cool we're not gonna need more paint got all of that gonna do this wall over here try to paint around stuff it's kind of pain in the butt on them there all right couldn't sell that grab this move it in here and off we go getting it after it again I'm thinking of put in we should put like a we should try to make a movie theater if we don't really have enough room though I really want to I really want to start making making more cool stuff like that like we could put a dude what if we put a sauna down here how insane would that be that's the most bougie thing I think I've ever heard like in end of days the world is going to crap and you've got a sauna that you're just chilling in your bunker in people are out there starving don't have water don't have food you're just chilling in your sauna it'd be so funny don't want to be too stressed when the end of the world comes alright so we're done with that this place is already looking much much nicer I do kind of want to get rid of all the crap that's just sitting around let's let's do the bathroom here alright so ceramic tiles or grey squares so he wants these and he's gonna want them all around the bathroom isn't he okay that's not the ones that's not the ones that he wants wall tiles does he want these do they all kind of look the same there it is that's the one he wants you can see the what's it called go up the percentage all right so we're gonna lay these all around the bathroom shouldn't take too long hate to see it hate to have to buy a whole stack of tiles just for the last three but that's all right sometimes it happens okay so that's done we're gonna mount some devices we're gonna need a toilet let's go back up - all here just good to go with the standard toilet goes right here looks good we could kind of move them around a little bit if we wanted but I feel like that's probably not necessary so we've got a toilet want a sink probably just gonna gonna stick with this typical sink that we always do we need a little bit more the the sink that they had upstairs I don't know if you guys saw it but that was totally uh that was totally a different a different sink than we've had before like that we don't have available to us which makes me kind of salty so that's done and then he's gonna want a shower mountable shower the shower was different - I'm pretty sure oh wait we have to unscrew these first I feel like I'd go for a bathtub dude if it's the end of the world I'm gonna want a place that I can just like fill up and chill and relax I'm not gonna be taking showers bro I'm taking baths guaranteed like that see how fast we can get this thing boys you remember the first time we did this I honestly really really struggled with it the first time it's a lot of different things you need to press and do got that feel like we're a Mac Daddy repairman now Josie's gonna be so impressed I can't even see that screw right there when I can fix everything Tony over this easy by the way she is she is coming coming on soon boys in fact she may have even come on already depending on what I upload this I don't know we'll see I'm bringing around I know you guys really want to see it she might have to be a regular on the series we'll see all right so that's done water heater - he wants this in here it's just gonna be mounted on the wall I guess I'll place it over here kind of by this little generator chest of drawers mal mini chest of drawers I don't think it's mini yeah he wants this definitely gonna go with a white put it in pretty much the only spot we can toilet paper holder that's important place them in the wall next door four times toilet paper tell me that we can open this up and stick them in there do it I'm mad I'm mad dude I'm hooking you up bro I'm a hundred percent hooking you up you were never actually wait man I was gonna stack them up in a pyramid but it doesn't work all right well that's the bathroom I'm gonna put a mirror on the wall got to know how you're looking even the upon even in the apocalypse so we got that and then we should put some type of a painting up here spring painting why are these all so small dude I'm trying to find something nice that kind of like reminds you of the beauty of the world you know what I mean there we go you got that all right what's going on in here two times bed with drawer you're gonna bet with a drawer bed with drawer interesting all right white gray kind of betting got white blue orange Navy striped I guess just the blue well this isn't gonna fit very nicely you could do one on each end do what a depressing spot holy cow four times hanging shelf [Music] should we go I guess you should go with the that emerald ocean is pretty close [Music] I'm gonna try to hold on how did they all of that my keyboards been are weird how did they make that that thing in the last one that was so sick how they did it [Music] I'm just gonna do one of these above each bed we'll make it a little box kind of matches the color we're going with [Music] all right that looks good I like that this room is technically done we'll see what happens we remove trash is this trash what's the trash dude I legit don't see any trash unless it's the axis underneath it of the chair oh he wants the chair gone okay place a knob 200 so this is gonna be like the little storage room I guess we aren't really gonna have the chance to really fully customize this like we wanted huh it's gonna have to be more of what he wants customer always comes first all right so we're gonna pick these up so this is gonna be the weapons shelf and then we're gonna have the first aid shelf over on the other side this is still gonna be pretty cool he's got 36 items he wants us to buy so we're gonna go with the first aid kit water container five of these bad boys they don't really fit so we're just gonna line the back the back wall with them these things just don't like being close to each other do that okay got two times food containers these should fit up here large food container dude this is kind of crazy can we get these we get all the food on the same shelf all right pickled cucumbers cuz those will never really go bad I'm actually gonna move these up here move our emergency food up we're gonna put the smaller food down where it's more accessible just feel like you won't use those as much alright so now we're gonna go pickled cucumbers I want two of those nuts those won't really go bad either got some nuts on here as well [Music] soup feel like they shouldn't be this neatly put together you know what I mean like well I guess we could oh yeah we should keep it neat ideally you would have your your emergency shelter neat let's move this back one just like that yeah nice and lined up quad macaronis of course bro I'm about that life I love myself some macaroni and cheese looking nice prepper stash is almost complete we got the rice we're gonna to start using the next the next shelf that's okay dude how much freakin stuff does this dude one I'd have to move this down here I think five times peanut butter how much peanut butter you need Braille dude just like that can of the tomatoes he wants two of these - canned meats meat the mullahs do these people are gonna be eating good I'm not gonna lie can't a tuna and a safe put that in the corner alright dude honestly caught us a let's go down in here what do you want in here oh this is gonna be the kitchen all right I like what we're working with here dude we've got some more trash to remove probably the chair yeah okay so modern kitchen cabinet with sink Andy so we're gonna go with this white white should we go all white swig all silver [Music] I like the silver yeah I don't really I'm gonna go all white I kind of feel like that's the vibe we're going with here I think that looks good so we're gonna put this here for now four burner gas stove place that up there guess cylinder that's smart gonna need some some of that propane modern a hanging cabinet Andy why don't why don't white dude that's kind of huge sofa shadow table slim that's a microwave this is a microwave where are we gonna put this is it possible to move these over we're kind of hurting for space a little bit but I guess that's gonna have to work tables slim and then two times chair in golf we're gonna have to move these I don't we shouldn't move these over here bring this over here instead of just like that and then we have the empty one so this is gonna be kind of like our little workspace type deal I guess sit this like that I think we can move these all over move it over move it over a little bit over looks good all right so we got that um probably gonna put the table kind of like that and then they want what kind of chair in golf chair in golf couldn't get the white could set one up like that and then one up like that and then two hanging shelf up and shelf up what do we have for the couch of gray should we add a gray here we go with the gray that looks good to me all right so I'm gonna say let's let's do it like that I kind of like when we make the little box shelf I think that's kind of fun well we'll do that all right that's 100% complete he's happy with it but I'm not done yet dude I I don't think I'm I don't think I'm ready to give it up yet I still want to add a few more things in and let's see we don't really have a lot of space though that's the problem I wanted to add like a crazy TV room and stuff first of all no place is complete without this which one is it gun is the ar-15 how is it labeled in this game semi no where do you get the big gun but this is like an end of days type thing and there's a potential for us to get robbed and stuff we're definitely gonna need a big gun where do we survival here we go oh we're gonna have to look through this entire thing yeah this is gonna be good so we're gonna get a gas mask dude this is kind of intense hold on let's move these this is gonna be the fun part we I honestly haven't really looked through all this so we're gonna get a gas mask what do you do with it I can't put it anywhere it just doesn't it doesn't only let me put it anywhere all right so I'm gonna let's grab a big knife put it there okay we've got plastic barrels to dispose the bodies we've got canisters probably gonna need canisters for fuel so we'll throw a couple of these over here on the wall well on the edge too is probably good m16 rifle these are mounted on the walls bro we're going ham we're going ham we're gonna have a wall full of rifles just in case one breaks you always want to make sure you're prepared right I'm gonna have it go all the way up and down looks good six m16s no big deal what else do we have in here generator hat gun power generator bunk bed box packages doors so there's not a whole lot the sewer is kind of cool should we put this over in the bathroom mmm it kind of ruins the aesthetic a little bit not a lie what else do we want to put down here dude we need we're gonna have running TVs we're living in a simulation world here right so we're gonna of running TVs and they're gonna have like weather readings and stuff from our outside modules obviously that the TVs wouldn't be working anymore on this type of thing but this this is gonna have like or should we put him we should probably put him in here huh I guess you can leave them out here that just looks cool when you put two of them together like that we need to get four of them and make a whole wall or something that'd be kind of cool so we got that what else is a survival person gonna need that's what I want to figure out I want to get these lights working okay so the switches are working I need to sell this I need to sell one of them what the heck it's not gonna let me sell it alright we'll just we'll put it back here so do we just cuz this switch is now turning on the TVs but it's not it's not turning on the lights do we just need to put more ceiling lamps in we know what the minis it doesn't let us mount these I guess you just can't really have you can't really have lights in here so we're gonna have to do we're not to do lamps I feel like this is gonna work so we'll set up we'll set up a lamp there we're gonna have to put a lamp in each room I know we're going to put in this room lamp there I'm just trying to get a little bit of lighting in here dude it's rough otherwise we actually might not even need a hold on we're gonna go for four sconces if we get a bathroom sconce here okay hold on hold on we're gonna throw this like this we're gonna get the bathroom sconce put it right above it boom maybe we want to have sconces all the way throughout can we do that Royal semicircle oh dude that's that's way better okay hold on we're gonna sell these I'm just trying to make this look good color do we want it to be these are some really weird looking colors dude we've got mahogany Japanese Elm African pear chocolate beech kind of weird let's set these up on each side dude this is nice this is the way to go oh we could we could set them set them up towards the top of every room on each side just to give us a little bit of a little bit of visual turn those on turn these on and then we've got this one in here turn it on alright boys this is our survivalist thing I mean it let's but we're not done yet we're gonna add we're gonna add a few things in I don't want to pretend like we're done yet but I like having little ferns and little plants like let's let's keep it keep it fresh I guess you could say I like the drew Kenya's keep it fresh keep keep the greenery you know what I mean like if we're stuck down here for a while we're gonna be able to want to be able to look at some pretty plants so you've got that what else could we do I'm trying to think of what else we want I'm trying to think of what else we can do about the the whole setup here I mean the kitchens the kitchens pretty well done I don't think we really have a lot of room room left here we've got the area in here I mean we could we could add we could add like the the air gun and a couple of pistols up here actually I think the air gun has to be mounted so we'll just add a couple of pistols I'm kind of sad that the the what's it called doesn't work the gas mask I think that would have been cool so we got some pistols there we got the ARS there I guess we could do air gun over on this side or do them over here keep them lined up we don't need as many air guns we should actually probably keep keep one over here on the wall just in case somebody tries getting in yeah we get that cool I think I think that's it I think we're done I don't think there's a whole lot else we can do to be honest so I'll take it I mean this is a fun little project I really enjoyed it it's dark outside this is a little bit creepy I really
