Microtech Dirac Proof Run! Some size comparisons.

would you consider us to be casual Microtech collectors I would say at least casual we're not hardcore no we kind of miss out on the brand-new stuff sometimes we're lacking a little bit on the history and a little bit on what's coming out and Florida North Carolina is it North Carolina yeah I was thinking Pennsylvania no see well anyway we are at least casual Microtech collectors I'm going to see local micro tech dealer Brad revolver tactical he had three of them and then they all sold out yeah and out that he had three more at home yeah so we got one the next day yeah we're talking about the proof run of the die right yeah number 193 of how many who knows we don't know yet it will be limited though yeah Limited yeah so Brad had six of these and within 48 hours of receiving them we're gone well it's the first front face flipper flipper flipper front face mechanism it's an OT f with the front face button there okay I got it you got it yes yeah these were all done in the dagger blade so super practical if you're stabbing stuff yeah what if you have an automatic of course you're stabbing stuff everybody knows that right right that leads me to think about knife flaws just real quick craziness okay so I was gonna say that would make it legal more places but they need to plan automatic in there too it's an OT f automatic okay what a lot of people will consider a switchblade right they're not legal everywhere either so this thing is all kinds of illegal though I mean he's not like really like aggressive looking can you see the blade once no he's in there pretty good nestled in there in there yeah yeah so we got a few the knives here to check out you know we were told it's it's kind of between it's really between the UTX 75 right so actually here there's an 85 on a day or two yeah I got this one it blade 2018 okay so yeah this one here UTX 85 love this size all right but of course this is the top mounted button okay yeah next to each other really though he's like a little bit shorter just narrow the handle length is almost the same take a look at this guy's yeah but it's narrower and this one's you know kind of got a straight body there's just a little bit of curve upwards towards the the button where it's built in and this one has contouring curve all the right places oh yeah okay in here I was indeed I was thinking about it real quick these curves though mm-hmm the halos got curves too oh yeah it does real quick Frankie yeah you know at some point I'm going I don't know why you haven't bought one I'm going to buy a halo meeting for that day I haven't the new style it makes it so much easier to actuate they're more comfortable yeah and there's just more to grab on to oh yeah okay um but yeah that's the old style I was gonna put it out there for comparison as well do one of the newer ones here and see the newer button face but let's show that real quick it's wider wider and flatter right it's wider let's just finish the comparison of size there real quick there's the full-size ultratech oh yeah okay and then with the blades which ones this bayonet let's blade show 2018 yeah a little variety picked there you go yeah so like how big it's you said it's just under three inches yeah two point eight seven five I think is the official measurement yeah how much is like the actual bra it's right at eight inches overall yeah he's right at seven inches are you in you're not including the glass breaker no I mean like it's just a like a shade bigger there you go all right speaking of the glass breaker though so this one does have the updated newer style uh-huh with the inset ball yeah okay oh that's so much better definitely check out the old style I'm glad I have one but these are really sharp these are really sharp I do like that purple a lot oh yeah that's nice knife how do you like just make them 7d in that color I'd be all over it how you like actually shut up you're just a jerk I can't even get it I can barely get that one yeah that one's real yeah I can hear it too uh-huh yep that one's uh well sprung know where that came from yeah wrong it's really kind of close to the UT x85 I'd say actually what is the width on that was that's where you you feel the difference is it's so much narrower I'll see if there's a weight difference as well there will be probably not much okay let's see what we got here coming in point for one so low on the thin side right I mean that's without the butter you know of course yeah laughs I guess true you got to take that into account but when you have it in your hand you have you don't really yeah I'm not really feeling the button as much there was a point four six sorry what was it point four six point four six okay it's not like they're really why no try one of this is just fun to weigh now we're just doing weights I know well I wanted to make sure that the carbon fiber weighed less it's an old ultratech 3.50 forget if this has the aluminum insides with the titanium I see I don't know my micro tax as well you need to look up your mikrotik stats please know we love ya man we just know we love him though Frankie I know what they're great seriously Oh dagger that's what the proof run is yeah it's just the devil but I'm look like this yeah basically they're all just that I'm guessing we're gonna see a standard edge maybe the the tanto who knows what else in this maybe the hellhound not sure I actually like the dagger version of this because it's very symmetrical this is it if it wasn't then would be kind of oh you know what I mean it'd be a little different I got it out - so Benchmade alright they were the other brand with the front face OTF okay that is a dagger as well but Benchmade also they do a standard edge on these okay yeah and it does it doesn't look symmetrical like yeah you just think it needs to be a dagger as useful as it is yeah as useful out of it as it is we're just talking aesthetics there huh yeah yeah there's the benchmade this one's gonna be I'll get this scale back out real quick this one's gonna be considerably heavy yeah I still love it but yeah over an ounce heavier yeah it's like a brick that's a little bit longer though actually let's see how about if you throw side-by-side yeah there you go should be a longer blade actually is right about the same yeah yeah let me show this as well the benchmade is girthier Frank yeah wait there with you all right that's the direct that's a that's an initial look in comparison what do you guys think did you get one are you going to get one angle are they legal in your state well you know I've said too much I've said what I'm gonna say there if you can't get them in your other other countries out there we feel for ya it's ridiculous and I feel ridiculous
