hi i'm alex archbull and i've been buying and selling antiques since i was 9 years old from basements to scrap yards i'll look just about anywhere i can to find lost antiques and collectibles and sometimes i'll go big and buy everything with my wife and kids we run an antique shop in edmonton alberta canada filled with some of the most unique items we can find i never know what's going to happen or who i'm going to meet this is our life this is our adventure and this is curiosity [Music] and it's refreshing to hear music born to this great country of ours betty rack will play two movements now from his son attina for piano [Music] yet a 17 year old pianist has had a most interesting career already and i think we should speak to her about it [Music] i started your mother earlier and she thought that perhaps this your trimness was due to your uh doing so much badly i understand you've been taking battle lessons for a long long time i started to take dancing when i was three years and what made you change will rather not change but add to your dancing piano play well my ballet teacher thought that i should take music because she thought it would add to my rhythms though i see but when when did this happen how would you be when you started your piano one or two other things i'd like to ask uh hobbies that you must just sort of have something else besides school or school by the way what school do you ever think shepherd i see well now what other hobbies do you have besides school work hobby uh golf do you get a chance to get out a lot when it's uh well i think dresses and mostly stuff for myself because it's so hard to buy things that fit so i mostly saw for myself i see when when did was this something which started at rush shepherd or no my thought is a because i've seen it so much your father's a tailor right here yeah i've been adventure all the time well uh let's see what should we talk about there must be something else quite interesting [Music] not selling any other hobbies besides sewing and golf to find time or was it just music i don't really have too much time for anything outside dancing [Music] ladies and gentlemen now uh we're going to have a closing selection for our recital and this is going to be given by miss betty john rack pianist golfer and it's a piece of music by swanson and it's called the [Music] hunger might drive where i must cold blows the rain and my roof is in the dust loved my roof tree the true word of welcome was spoken in the door dear days of old with the faces in the far light kind forks of old you come again no more [Music] home was home then my dear full of kindly faces home was home then my dear happy for the child fire and the windows bright [Music] in the wild [Applause] and the chimney stone is cold don't let it stand now the friends are all departed the kind hearts the true hearts that loved the place and come again no more you
