Medieval Minecraft w/ Mark Ep. 1

hello everybody and welcome to Medieval Minecraft with Mark I was thinking in like developing a title for this there could be some good alliteration opportunities here there might be oh this is so weird I'm tall what class did you choose that's why I'm shorter yeah I'm a goblin okay I went for jeez I don't remember because I had to choose one to get on I think oh I went for Paladin that's what it was look at look at how big the sword is compared to me that is a gigantic sword did you start oh this is just the one we start off that's just the starting thing okay awesome so it's like I get I get a little faster walking speed and then I get more of um like I guess like money related loot stuff like that just treasure in general I get more of by the way everybody this very server that we're even start with do you just do the normal Minecraft so there is a quest book and that kind of guides Us in the right direction but we should open the treasure bag right treasure bag apples and wood hooray treasure bag oh first spawn bag okay I got Oak log apple and torch okay so same thing you want to do there is a tutorial if you go into your quest log it says welcome to Medieval Minecraft to start the tutorial click on this Quest and read the description yes yeah okay this tutorial will guide you through some basic features don't worry it won't take too long to start click the check mark under the word tasks and then claim the quest reward new quests up here if new quests do not start appearing try rejoining your world do not eat the bread until the tutorial is finished oh okay Tony okay I won't do that and then so if you go over oh there we go inventory quests and important controls now there is something where we may want to join the same team and then important controls I know there's a lot of stuff just to look at you'll get used to it over time we'll both have to get used to it over time but yeah okay gonna accept that wow tutorial completed we're so good at video games jump scare my God okay so now as you can see over on the left if you hit the arrow to expand out there is a lot of stuff over there for things to do so first off we kind of just want to like you just we just want to get set up you know we just want to get set up so we got a little bit of wood um it isn't probably a bad idea to like set up camp kind of near a village these guys probably hate us because they keep walking into the cactus and they probably blame it on us honestly I didn't place it I know but I swear dude villagers will like that sometimes they're just like if you're just standing anywhere near you must have done something okay we should actually check if there's uh any chests though in here that have some loot yeah not not on that one but just in the area I don't know if there's a rep system in this like I've played in another month yeah yeah I know what you're just talking about they they have these doors that are like two trap doors so I click on them I mean it's calling it a jungle door but it's clicking it and it's only opening one half and the when I try to open another half you know it okay there we go I finally that looks like a normal door I don't know I just clicked on the door man but look you see how you can get it to open up halfway I think that's like that's not supposed to be that way no it's not supposed to be are you see what I'm saying I'm checking out your yeah uh that's just it's just not supposed to do that but uh okay let me just snag myself a little bit of Cobble over here oh it's dark oh there's Dynamic lighting though wait this is like is there even any stone down here uh uh it doesn't appear yeah like I didn't think Stone would be hard to come by but it's it generates different moving hard to come by yeah it's okay maybe over there isn't actually but I would have to bridge over to it like over on that side I don't oh there is some Stone over there that's true um yeah sure I'll just put some of my wood to use over here I'm like hoping there's no bad bad guys who are ready to ruin me okay there we go perfect would this mod have it to where I can dual wield a torch and my other stuff yeah definitely you could have a torch in your office what should I press to do that I forget um you can either put it in the offhand slot or you can hit F usually F that's what it is okay okay did you did you ever have all sham no wow as a name you did didn't you or were you always uh yeah before this the merge of the merch Mastercraft accounts to Microsoft stuff yeah was it did you lose your account and then I don't remember if I just changed it or if I lost it all right I'm heading back out I figure wait where was our where did we come in oh wait oh God hopefully this Village hopefully this Village is not getting wrecked oh God I forgot to do toggle Sprints wait then why does this guy have like so much health all right that was a lot right I couldn't tell on his uh is it the kind of sword that we have just isn't like good days oh yeah it is I mean it is a wooden sword there's definitely some fancy gear that we can make let's uh let's use some of the villagers beds and yeah it says it's only um I guess that's 4.5 damage it's not that's not great do you swing your sword really slowly it kind of looked like that on oh I think that I am affected by um like a slower sword speed I must be okay they're straight oh this guy oh God I'm running you you kill him you kill him it's dead okay please man what uh what the hell was that I don't think it dropped anything I don't know what it was yeah those guys are they they do drop stuff that you can do I think there are as Nouveau and you can do like rituals and stuff with them but um and it's actually worth like looking into because ours Nouveau allows you to especially early game like you can have infinite torches and stuff which is kind of nice but yeah let's uh we should try to figure out like a place to make as a starter home or something like that I'm also gonna make some uh sorry somebody just ran into a cactus and then just like kept ticking themselves they're so dumb and he's probably mad at you he's probably got like an angry face I walked away I was like I'm not involved no oh oh oh we got a uh we got an angry is he mad is he mad I think he might be mad oh no he's just dumb oh he's just dumb oh okay all right I'm gonna throw away my wooden long sword ever since playing Terraria I'm now like terrified to throw out the starter sword because I just fear that people are gonna be like no you threw out the thing that makes the Zenith the end game weapon that you really get because it doesn't generate copper in your world we do have to worry about water in temperature so we can need to find like holy frick [Laughter] oh he's on the cactus with this one oh that's what's on the cactus no you big idiot your dad what did you drop oh God uh it dropped worm chitten and rotten flesh ow I wonder what the chitin does careful there's another smaller Tremor is he coming for you ooh that can be like an armor thing so yeah that's definitely supposed to be like a later acquisition wait there's another big one is he on the oh this one's not stuck on the cactus I don't think we want to go I think it's so huge yeah good Lord okay so we we are definitely gonna want iron or we could like look in the tents in this Village and see if they got that underneath something like the worm chicken it says like ice and fire does that pertain like to a certain questline that's from a mod yeah ice and fire is the mud okay that one has dragons and a bunch of stuff dude freak off Frick off put your tongue away this thing's playing Green sleeves over here on the pamphlet you're right we do anything with these guys do we want a wonderful structures or do we want to just go underground and grab some iron and stuff like that whatever you think is like important early on because I didn't know when we should attempt to go into like the quest log and follow anything so I mean Overworld has some stuff but is that a vampire cat what I think so that a little little guy beat you mad cow I'm gonna get mad cow disease now probably don't eat this and give it a try what does the mean oh hello can we talk to you right clicking isn't doing anything why did the ground disappear it's another freaking snake worm oh it came out of it oh my God I have been jungled midair I'm up here now you've got like a 3D beard you have a goblin beard on if you take your helmet off oh if I take my helmet off yeah I mean that yeah that's my Minecraft Steve my bald no but you have a beard you wanna see the beard yeah that's it I changed Steve to be bald with a beard like me wait but it's like it's like a it has actually hurt for you it's different like it actually has Extrusion to it rather than it being Oh you mean that it's actually got like voxels coming off instead of just being like painted on uh-huh yeah but it's kind of neat that way oh you know what we didn't do we didn't grab beds from the village to take with us we should probably do that and then we can at least be scared nighttime oh there is something interesting that's over to the east of us if you hit J you can look at the better map oh the better one okay and there's something to the east that's kind of interesting looking we could check out actually no just kidding when I said East what I meant was I went West yeah I'm just getting these in case you're trapped chests in this mod all right I'm gonna open them up oh holy locket abilities so we just got one of the oh is it in this they have the special Eye of Ender setup I think come in here and look in these um look in these chests there's like actually I'm trying to let me try to maze my way back to you oh what what's going on I'm alive did you fall um I did what are you doing um failing at Minecraft can I I will be okay I just need a moment to um like gather myself after a terrible fall that has rattled my gamer brain it's okay you would have uh MLG water bucketed it if you had water buckets I know yeah yeah my inventory is completely full I need a backpack real badly wait there's CR this thing is crazy holy locket plus 50 damage dealt to Undead enemies 25 chance to ignite Undead by each hit blessing plus 25 Health regeneration Divine Shield total invulnerability time after taking damage increase by half a second this thing is nuts I just know that I'm gonna end up like skipping over something that's important here because I just don't have the inventory space and everyone's gonna be yelling like you missed the thing you you needed in order to do this stuff and you're ruined you've ruined the whole series it's over it is true I'm going to miss stuff I'm at least I'm holding on to these books for now just like I don't know it feels wrong to leave them and I'm just like you have a junk in if you're looking at one chest right now and you don't realize that the other two there's like stuff in them yeah yeah and sacred Scroll of regeneration applies for Gen to Citizens around you at least most of the time what do you mean most of the time do you mean that sometimes it decides not to you know so we should maybe we should say like I think our goal here in the mod pack is kind of just like you know beat all the bosses really which might be a lot there are a lot of bosses if you look in like the Overworld you'll see a lot of bosses and then if you look in the other dimensions there are also a lot but there's also a deep dark dimension which is really that's pretty cool god um and then the nether probably maybe has a few bosses and then there's other ones that I haven't been in before but are probably pretty cool then the abyss and the end of the world that's kind of that's scary yeah if you want to grab some of the if you want to grab three out of there and make yourself an iron pickaxe feel free wait was there Goblin Trader oh my boy what's he offering anything good anything good yeah is trades show up in a very wonky fashion that's for sure oh he does 32 Cobblestone for an emerald well oh my God wait get the get this stuff out if there's any left oh he trades one iron one iron ore for two iron ingots I just could have gotten 16 iron ore not had to smelt a single thing yeah we need to go find some iron right now and take advantage of this man right now and then this second this guy is the greatest hurry up is that iron there it is cool is he still I did find some some Mind tracks where did he go did you leave the room and then Venture off somewhere else where did he go oh no oh my God if he just like walked himself off the cliff that you walked off of I'm gonna that would be very funny because our iron we would add so much iron for so cheap why did he leave us why would he leave us like this I don't see him down there where I fell at least oh my God this freaking guy I should have just maybe barricaded him in I didn't think about it oh my he's actually gone this is terrible how did this happen oh there's some underground ruins and stuff oh this is a mine shaft oh crazy it is I'll totally get lost in here okay I found the chest whoa what is this robe hello is this a was this a chest in the mine shaft yeah yeah I found one this goes into my artifacts doesn't it or not um might be something you wear or oh there it is okay okay so what does it say it does it does uh 15 movement speed in night time hides The Relic wearer while in places with lightning level lower than two so I guess it makes it to where I can't get struck by lightning is that a problem not usually but hey it's a good perk to have you know yeah there's a lot of stuff in this there's some stuff in here yep oh my God obsidian with iron there's a diamond we can make a shovel TNT crates lava bucket I just gotta leave some stuff behind I got no room in my inventory here hold on does this does this weapon actually make a sound I didn't mean to destroy the chest it says strange distorted laughter seems to whisper from these menacing looking sickles but I was seeing if it would actually laugh and it did not that's creepy this is not helpful interesting yeah well I can take it off for now because it's not like super necessary for me to have it on at the moment okay I wonder is there a vein mine probably not a lot of stuff I'm unfamiliar with that will inevitably end up needing later oh this stuff is good the ex petrified because I think you can make the um unbreakable thing um oh Geraldine the scary he does a lot of damage apparently named mob by the way oh he has a significant amount of health and probably a lot of damage yeah uh I wasn't even looking and just died I know he just came out of nowhere hi Were You full health by the way I believe I was yes oh jeez Geraldine is scary well you know you should be able to work your way back meanwhile I've uh I've eliminated Geraldine he's not so scary anymore okay okay I got acrobat four and Beast boss six I got straight owned that was horrible you're just digging straight down to it hey there we go all right it's right over here we need backpacks so badly we're back Gamers let's go you did it yeah we are gonna need to probably drink water soon do we have to acquire like fresh water I don't know if they have filters in this let's see if hopefully they don't have filters because we can hopefully we can just drink from a bucket or something like that that'd be good here so there's a spawner over here let's grab this really quick and then there's I think a chassis yeah there's a chest underneath it oh it's got It's got Nando got emeralds gold ingots we need some of this for making backpacks so all right take that stuff yeah um I'm gonna I'm gonna make a bucket really quick and I'm just gonna see if it allows us to drink what wait oh I left my do a crafting table and you by any chance I do not but I can make one okay yeah yeah cause I don't have enough wood left thank you all right I hope that this works that way uh no no can't drink out of the bucket okay we need a special cup yeah let me see like water bottle or something like that I don't know if there's a water bottle here or if it's like you actually just make a glass bottle dip it in water and then you drink that I'm gonna smelt these and see if we are able to did I delete I left the furnace behind me God dang it [Laughter] oh that works that works okay easy okay so bottle gotcha okay I mean and it also like what did I man what I have this I have thirst for 30 seconds probably because I didn't filter the water what is this garbage wait what I think probably because it's not fresh water I'm now thirstier as a result I was afraid it was gonna have some dumb thing like that it's too easy to just be able to fill your bottle with water and then go back and take this to a treatment plant we can't even yeah we gotta we gotta make all the technology in order to be a light strong out here die of dysentery every time that we drink water oh no you know what why don't we go what's upstairs why don't we go to that like house that we initially were looking at and then what are those what what do you do what did I do stand on skulk veins oh yeah yeah this wait my man do you have it he's got it oh let's go just randomly running into this little Trader yeah I gave him all my iron ore and he doubled it gotcha oh my God I got 27 iron ingots now um yeah let's go back up go to that house and maybe we can just commandeer that house use it as our own deposit things in chess and then we'll be in a better place because I can't pick things up because I have no room me either what is the lightning bolt bar on top of the water I have no idea I wish I could like hovering I don't know if there's uh something we can pop open and just like read what the different things are and fortunately if you like hit T and then you hover your cursor you don't nothing happens so all right up we go oh what an Excursion in the mines did you re-enter through where the oh God I don't think I want that guy I'll be able to get my stuff but there were enemies down there uh still so it's I'm at the entrance to the mine from the village okay oh Jesus I just got a uh I just took down a Pillager I'm coming to you I'm coming to you hey you made it wait where'd your stuff want to help me kill down here see the silver fish or a rat oh you died to a silverfish wait why is it a rat silverfish what yeah they they change the skin to a rat oh no yeah more more rats oh then this one guy this was the last one right there next to you okay oh is he did he steal your stuff I don't know freaking silverfish oh there's a guy there's still a guy on it don't worry I'll say oh he's a spin oh God he's legendary Jesus wait care of oh God is he spawning silverfish he must be like the source of them our map is clogged with death notifications right now okay okay yeah he's infested that's where the silverfish are coming from oh they're they're spawning off of them okay I'm going behind yeah just sneak around for the amount of extra damage that I do to Undead is crazy I'm dealing two two Health per hit on this guy I was dealing 10 Health per hit on the other dude oh no get me out of here Jesus I hate it sorry what's up oh God oh my God okay the rats the rats they're the rats yeah let's let's go let's go yeah we gotta we gotta go and like let's set up in the house I've been trying to eat some food this whole time but it's just been so busy do you have you have the bread though uh oh no I mean I mean in real life food oh yeah do you bread um I have a tortilla okay you know it's close enough I'm running over to that house that we saw and um maybe we can make it like a home of sorts I do oh there's a witch over here are there whey stones in this there are okay this is very good news because then we kind of set up a home wherever oh oh the witch is mad the witch is coming over I think this is this is the Witch's House this is the witch's house oh she's coming for me oh she coming for me did you know that um that birds can shoot arrows didn't didn't know that no admittedly that is well they're shooting something is that uh I think that might be an ice and Firebird and they're not very nice symphalian it was just it kept just shooting stuff at me this world is so hostile it really is I can't walk anywhere let's take over this witch hut for now there's a worm over here too crawling around just trying to live for like five minutes oh God these oh no I've seen these oh geez they're bad they're so bad oh god um ah okay I'm in the house I'm in the house you're gonna be nice to me aren't you careful there is the shotgun bird over here it's still there yeah that's a good name for it shotgun bird oh it's got okay it's not here anymore thank goodness that thing is unrelenting like just firing off at a rapid Pace holy Jesus okay hide in this house for a second wow okay so what I'm gonna do right now is I'm gonna make some chess um hopefully green chests fingers crossed yeah they have different quality levels with four slots well no it's just that I'm using green wood so I was hoping it would be green chests and I'll put them down there yeah because these willow trees are kind of green so you can actually ax the trees like if you just yeah keep hitting at the bottom It'll like chop it and then it'll take the entire okay gotcha yeah where are you setting up chest at what kind of room I you know I was just taking the Lazy Man's kind of temporary chest approach to start with and then we can make it better later but like what I did over here was just you know oh I see yeah yeah they are green look at that we can make it a Christmasy looking house you know hey there's a witch hat over here cool Goblin with all the chat seems like it'd be good dang you looking good yeah my my gear is getting pretty bad yeah so what we should do what we should do is let's take some iron and at least we have 27 so let's divvy it up and make at least like a chest plate and leggings probably would be a good place to start can only leave the crafting table out here I did there are all these snakes on the ground I keep thinking like one of them is gonna bite me eventually man yeah I don't know if any of them are mean because I mean one of them earlier was absolutely a rattlesnake but it didn't do anything maybe it's like real life where it really doesn't want to hurt you unless it's absolutely necessary plus it feels under threat yeah oh frick okay it's just gonna be helmet and chest plate for me no wait I already had I could have made boots made a terrible mistake it's okay we'll find more goblins and iron I'm sure of it here wait actually here don't before you make a helmet let me give you this helmet and then can you make boots with the iron oh wait I didn't get it oh yeah I just left it in the chest here I'll make books for myself and then a check I thought that you were gonna throw them to me so I didn't think to go try to look for them in the chest gotcha um here you go there's a chest plate and then you go helmet cool yep yeah wait is there a reason you didn't put your bed next to mine no there wasn't a thought behind do you have to put in an air gap like what the heck dude much much more like it thank you actually we need to be more cozy up to the uh give me my bed there we go okay so it's more like a headboard same like headboard yeah yeah got it okay that's that's good all right so I think what would serve us really well right now is a backpack so I am not familiar with this backpack mod but it looks like what we need uh hopefully it's the same thing I'm used to though we need to find some cows um we need to find really we just need to find some cows it looks like okay is the main thing so I would say let's grab all the other stuff though that we're going to that we have so the gold here's a gold ingot that you'll need for it and then there's like special kinds of backpacks I don't know how that works but oh we'll need some iron and then a bunch of glass I'm just going to grab in more wood I want you to just just hack at the bottom of this thing Until It Breaks or oh my gosh that's so scary you just wanted to sound scare me God yeah this sounds like bait indeed oh no yeah you can't go hello what whoa do this structure yeah what the heck is there an entrance what is there yeah there is it's got a spawner in it a drown spawner huh like we can just break this I don't know if we're not supposed to break the spawner like we use it for grinding XP or something like that I guess we could there's nothing else in here though you want to go boating I mean hey I like fast travel okay let's go boating in our Green Boat hahaha Come On Son we're going for a ride we missed out on Father's day yesterday so this will allow us to make up for it let's load some new chunks deep ocean oh God it's gonna kick off my thalassophobia I don't know what that one means that's it's like fear of kind of deep ocean underneath you which I learned I am also extend to looking at maps for you what do you mean so Allison hates looking at maps and if you zoom out to where you just see the blue ocean it breaks around that no definitely not the case if I'm ever on Google Maps and I zoom out too much she's like oh God what how did you do that what why am I hurting what no oh there's a sand freaking sand worms they're just a Relentless yeah when I knew that I was unsettled by it it was I was in seventh grade and I was snorkeling in Hawaii and they they decided like oh let's go out to this buoy that's pretty far out and I'm like I'm just you know following as we snorkel further and further into the water and it's just crystal clear and it just gets deeper and deeper I'm just like looking down 50 60 feet completely see-through down to the water below it looks like I'm just floating in midair and I'm like anything could just come out and eat me right now yeah I've never I've never had that uh opportunity to like I've been around you know clear water but never passed like what you would experience on a beach you know I've never yelled at you going snorkeling you're going to get into deeper water but I've never seen um down that far in the water before it's it is a little unsettling wait is that a way Stone thing so it's only if you can see would you like you wouldn't mind being on a boat if there was nothing around you that you could see buttwise on a boat it's just if no if I'm in like completely open water if I like just jump off a boat in the middle of the ocean it's slightly better if if I just straight up if it's yeah transparent or if it's okay and I can't see yeah yeah but still I have that same feeling okay so there's a there's a structure up top and I think it might have a Way Stone so I kind of want to check it out but this place also sucks I don't know why it just existing in here gives you mining fatigue it's kind of weird okay I'm uh building up here we go if I don't make it back yeah um I leave my boat to you oh boat wow yeah yeah yeah it's uh it's a nice one actually oh please no oh it's infested Stone why why would you do that to me I just used up like all my sand which isn't the best I'm on my way tell me oh yeah this is disappointing there's no way Stone up here oh really yeah no it's not worth coming up I don't know what this place even is I had gotten up about 40 to 50 blocks but I'll go back down oh wait there's a chest it's a chest and it's empty ah cool why did why is this here this place is doodoo okay what's the point I don't understand it's just terrible it's not even iron it's fake it's just silver hahaha oh my God my levels my levels I wasn't ready for that I just like froze very sad and depressing area uh player two farm animals well here looks like a nicer biome to our left but yeah what is that structure what is in there oh wait is that a scene is that some kind of back in the boat and run yeah quite possibly oh that's a bit version of the worm oh uh so we're in a bit of a bit of a tricky situation here with this one yeah a little bit I've dealt with these guys before and um it didn't always go well they can I believe hit you on oh yes they can okay never mind never mind oh my god dude yeah uh also I think that it stopped me from eating for a short amount of time but I could be wrong about that I was not able to eat there first Jesus man it's just reaching up through the floor and getting me uh yeah I was um oh oh God I'm going I don't know if it hit me with like a damage over time or if it bit me on the other side um The Other Side open Waters uh bad place that place do you want me to oh God okay we're we're doing we're doing well we're doing well and further away from home oh no all of the villagers do not have beds here and they're not even around this is there's got to be a house over there that has a bed very scared well I can't go outside because someone's knocking a zombie it sounds like someone hitting a piece of metal with another piece of metal it's probably a zombie get out of the bed please uh you were you were so close so shall
