you standing real quick I could say a whole lot I've been very blessed the last 20 or so years of my life I'm having a very strong spiritual father in my life and here in the last number years just when I think it couldn't get any better but God and this guy that's coming to the platform he he is my spiritual father and I couldn't say enough I'm asking you don't talk to anybody to your router to your left open up your eyes for this purpose open up the ears to hear for this purpose and open up your heart to receive this person's and I pray in Jesus name that a laughter breaks out underneath this tent that represents him in Jesus name put your hands together and welcome brother Jesse Duplantis [Applause] hallelujah somebody shout somebody come on hey [Applause] thank you thank you you might be seated if you can and if you can't stand up I don't care it's such a blessing of the Lord to be here I mean that sincerely I was telling hey what's up brother hey man I was telling the band I said you know if I had that kind of music in church when I was growing up I don't never left I had the most boring music I've seen anybody know what I'm done my good god I mean it was just boring I said I'd rather go to hell then they'd hear that kind of music I think I ain't going back but God has been so good Mike I can't thank you enough for allowing me to come I want to thank warden Robert Lopez for allowing us a chaplain earn his sister warden Phillip McCain and also bar co-director barber some time I call Mike barber another name I can't say but any no no Bob Barker but God has been so good and gracious I want to thank all of you did told me I couldn't wear white I cannot understand why I even got black underwear on Lord Jesus you gotta go black man but anyway it's such an honor and a pleasure and when I left New Orleans my wife said you happy I said I'm going to a place that they don't judge you don't you know I mean and I love the church to misunderstand me but boy I mean there's always some eyes here you know this in that mocha but every time I've come to prison Mike how long it took you to talk me into coming these prisons I would hardly ever go cuz I figured if they found out what I did he ain't letting me out and some of the stuff I did the statute of limitation they run out yet so I still ain't saying that but anyway God is so good and gracious and I want to thank you guys for coming because you didn't have to they said it's a voluntary situation and I just appreciate that and I mean that sincerely thank you thank you thank you [Music] many many years ago I want to kind of tell a story and preaching between here what Jesus means to me because you know I never thought of God as a person I thought of God at the Holy Roman Catholic Church I was raised Catholic you know and we didn't want him allowed to talk to God you talk to the priest anybody I've been raised Catholic no one's I might yeah how many I went to confession who you hit put your hand there I mean you told the truth I live like a dog in a confession but I'll try to get out with three Hail Marys and three our fathers but I I didn't understand God as a person you know I thought of Christianity like a religion and I found out something about Christ he didn't come to create Christianity he came this that you might know the father and you know and man got involved in religion mankind and I call religion or Gordon weeds a theological wilderness he said I'm saying and but when you're on earth when you get around Christ and when you understand here not here we don't need a heart bypass we need a head bypass it and when you understand when you get past this pull intellectual activity or range and research or induction and reasoning here trying to figure this out when you let Christ come into your life and I tell people that I didn't quite understood with that meant so I'm gonna give it a little my my testimony I was raised on the streets of New Orleans Louisiana I'm a city boy and I was really little cosa nostra you know what that is the Mafia and I now wedding Sicilian but but I lived in the Sicilian neighborhood and you know we always said growing up you got to do what you got to do and my grandfather said somebody messed with you that's what the Mississippi rivers for I'm serious that just the way it was so that became normal to me anybody Italian here know what I'm talking about then you say it just became normal but actually was abnormal and I can't blame my grandfather my mama got him saved seven days before he died now I can say that cuz he's III can say this he's in heaven I knew he buried people in the swamp in the federal games and he told us this at five years old you know you don't we don't cry in this family we meant you five years old he says about to mess with you you do what you got to do and I said grandfather my mother's big baseball bat call bulldozer little minnow did what up he was raised that way and he taught us and I idolized him I really did growing up as a kid and I didn't know much about church because we weren't allowed to talk to God like I wrote a book several years ago wanting a god I could talk to I don't forget one time I had a Sicilian priest not going I said father listen I need to talk to God he said what's the matter what you're you don't talk about God you're talking to me you understand I said what do you talk about of God he said no I said wouldn't want to talk to you Father yeah now you know you laugh at that but that made sense to me that made sense to me I don't know about you but it made it made sense to me you see but we wouldn't allow them to well growing him in that in that kind of way I became very hard natured and when people see me they say there's no way he's too nice you this I call it BC before Christ oh I'm the only one of my family that didn't go to prison that's the only one that didn't get caught I'm going on my brother's holiday I was raised that way you know and anyway to make a long story short my my wife got said none of us read the Bible you know the first Bible of I had in my life I stole it I lied I still want even Gideon Bible out of a hotel you know I totally get ends up that guy said let's throw your Bob oh no you can't steal my Bob I said no I stole your Bible man so I gave him a little money you know gave him a little you know a little donation or something but when I came to the knowledge of Jesus not religion because I never could understand religion because this church was right and this church was wrong that church is over kids okay that's right on it I never could understand how people couldn't come together you know I'm saying I never could understand it if they're Christians see that's just the way it was so I just want to tell you that growing up I didn't have what I call a religious mind in any way shape or form now I was a rocker like these guys I swear to God if I had this kind of music I just you know what we had but we went from a Catholic you know an omen that parts of you feel it is speaking to something you know oh mama studium it'll be rub away at the Catholic then you got over to the Protestant bringing in the sheaves I said I got to get the hell out of here I can't handle this kind of you see ya nah that's not cursing in Louisiana that's a location there's more charter know that you know but I had I'm serious all right I had this kind of me well you could be free you could actually play what you felt you know and I've been playing guitar I play 11 instrument playing since I'm six years old but you weren't allowed it you know that kind of craziness you know so he drove me to the other side see so I begin to realize something and I'm gonna talk about the most famous scripture in the Bible as John 3:16 and I want you listening for God so loved he so loved the what the world know who's the world now how many people you know love you tell you truth just be honest they made love to get closer to get what they can but how many people you met in your life just love you for who you are for God so loved the world the cause of salvation that He gave His only begotten Son the cost of salvation that whosoever believeth in him the condition of salvation shouldn't pair they say wouldn't say shouldn't perish but have everlasting life the consequence of salvation so there's a cause and there's a cost and there's a condition and there's a consequence see now what is the cost for God so love the way so I never forget when people come up to me say I love you what do you mean Oh what are you talking about because I was taught not to trust people I never forget first time I win the prize in church and mic somebody hug me you know I'm I hate me get your hands off me man why don't you do one you know I didn't understand that we wouldn't allow I no no no we didn't do that but I didn't understand that Jesus loved not hurt me I said no you don't I mean not 2,000 years ago I anybody love me you know see this was the mind the head not this here which was messing me up but how could I reach to God when the people that were telling me about God wasn't living for God themselves saying one thing and doing another you know I never understood that so I'm just gonna be honest with you here I wanna do for God so loved the world so many feet when I begin to realize do you do you really love me you know I was married to my wife I never told my wife I love that - five years after I married I said we didn't say those words we considered that weakness I met my grandfather you girl he said no we don't we men we don't talk like that you know so if your wife or your girlfriend I love it we'd say me to anybody I've been there you know no time I yeah because it was very hard to open yourself up especially when you've been taught to suppress when you be taught to push back don't let that out I never cried in my life well maybe as a baby I don't remember that but I'm just talking about until I got born again now let guys I didn't get born again in the church because they would having my head was too long I mean let you in there you know I'm saying I got saved in a bathroom in Boston Massachusetts every time I go to the bathroom I get excited I think about where I got saved I got born again of course there's a throne there so everything was fine you know as far as I'm concerned I did not know how to talk to God let me just say this animal getting to this message I was playing music I had Chicago wanting to do one of my songs I was working on the same circuit Led Zeppelin Grand Funk Alice Cooper I did all that I don't mean that I don't mean that pridefully and I work with Billy Preston you guys to love this over a little bit and it Motown you know really go around in circle and what happens with you musicians you come together you know maybe you really do it it's really like a clan in a sense of I don't know if that's the right word but you know musicians could talk to musicians you know you don't because you understand each other and all that kind of stuff well my wife told me she said that and I was going on to do a rock show and on those days I had a good body you got to see it by faith but I did so I'd come out on and say with strips of leather Jesus sandals on and broader Regine's you know and and and we play or we might do some Sly and the Family Stone or whether I work with them they're that wonderful people in fact they come saw me too two years ago the family stuff and they said he can't believe you saved because you were such a devil from hell I drank a fifth of whiskey a day I don't know how I ever lived that was just doing the day they ain't count the drinks at night smoke a little dope a week smell the cocaine PCP crystal meth took trips and never left my house it's gone come back and I'm saying a miracle of God I live my own doctor said you gonna have cirrhosis of the liver but Tom you're 24 years old you know and I said well I come from a drinking family we all drank so watch this I'm about ready to go do a show and my wife had got saved two years before I did she got saved in Minneapolis Minnesota I went there we just finished a meeting I wanna say a meeting of rocking with Alice Cooper okay and I was at the Thunderbird hotel I don't know if you have anybody from many operas know what I'm talking about Bloomington I think it's the name of that suburb and so I was about ready to walk out oh I've said Billy Graham's on television let's see what that gonna do with me I said she said me why don't you watch myself not only new to preachers in my whole life that was the Pope in Billy Graham that's all I knew okay we were Catholic didn't know anybody else the Pope and the Billy Graham that's it and I said now what I want to watch Billy for and she said something Laurence that touch me she said he pulls more people than you do and I thought my god man they got his filling up stadiums so I said okay i'ma watch this guy to get this woman off my back he's done saying so I'm sitting in his hotel room and you know any preaching I thought nice you know kind of quiet subdued a little bit I thought but then he said if you'd like to meet Jesus I said meet Jesus he's dead see I didn't really believe much in the resurrection I don't believe much and nobody but myself because I was taught that everybody and if you don't get it yourself nobody gonna give it to you you just got to do what you got to do it not me no different that meant you know because when you live in an abnormal life everything abnormal is normal so it's very hard to get in son somebody's hidden much less in their heart I said I'm saying so and then he said this you might have seen him on television growing up some of you he said if you if you'd like to meet Jesus write me and I'll send you the same literature that I'm giving that these people are walking forward and for the first time in my life I just stood up and I walked and I had a daughter I was three years old okay and I walked in that bathroom once and I slammed that door but I couldn't God got like he got in that bathroom before I could and something all of a sudden I'm tears begin to come out of my eyes that it never happened I went no I hollered it no that don't happen and I tried to suppress it but it couldn't I didn't know how to pray other than hail Mary full of grace the Lord is with thee blessed among women best of the fruit of the womb jesus holy mary mother of god pray for send us now not there how about there I Father who art in heaven I'll be that name that came to come the reason I prayed it like that cuz that's in the Catholic Church they gave you so you could get penance anybody been capped you know what I might say and I didn't pray like y'all father warned him not city fast Hail Marys like by the way okay I'm clean I'm out of here you know I'm gon say that just the way it was I did not know how to pray I didn't know what to say I'm just being honest with you and I said listen Jack words whatever Billy said that's all I had that's all like that's it I said this is it I mean I didn't know how to be religious I didn't know how to you know pray him what of it that never worked it never worked for me I don't know if he did for you but he didn't work for me I said whatever Billy says I said I don't even know if you I said this if you exist I don't know I wouldn't trouble but something was happening now I have been as high as a kite and low as a dog you know in a big streams but I never had that feeling because for the first time in my life I met myself I found out who Jesse the parents were I did I just went because everything else in that life was a facade you know saying just and I walked up and I open up that door my three-year-old daughter what standard Jodie she's 40 she'll be 48 minutes and about three or four or five days here what's that she looked at me she said daddy ain't going to hell no more just like I said did your mama tell you daddy with your daddy but going ahead she goes yeah I couldn't deny and I had to go do that show okay now we open up that show with that song want to take your how you feeling you know and so I opened it up you know nobody told you know and I'm supposed to go feeling getting stronger what came out of me I never heard in my life I want everybody in this place is going there and my drummer was like you healed he said grab him and he got some bad dope he messed up hehe shipping money gone I couldn't believe what I said I could what did I say something happened and it was the cause for God so look see the church wouldn't come where I was at but God did they wouldn't come but he came now nobody could be any holy of the God but he cared enough and I'm gonna tell you something guys if you know Jesus as Lord or if you get saved and I got ant getting out of jail till you get out of jail do you understand that if how many of you born again in here do you know God's in jail he did it with Joseph Joseph went to jail for 20 years for something he didn't do now most people are like a dog yeah I'm innocent you know but Joseph was anything why is it God said if you go to jail I'm gonna jail with him and God never left that prison until Joe's have come out that prison so let me just tell you something it's amazing what God will do even when you're locked up now if you go tell somebody that don't know Lord man you stupid man don't you know you know whatever because see the natural man receiveth not the things of God anyway you can explain that doesn't matter I don't know God because see there's spiritual things see I met the cause of salvation for God so loved the world and then I began to understand the cost of salvation that He gave His only begotten Son now I'ma be honest I only got one daughter the one grinder I could not do that if my daughter was on a cross and saying God a daddy why have you forsaken me how to kill the place I'd have done it slow he killed him slow so they remember dying that's the kind of boy I was but boom too fast that's the that's what I was taught it was abnormal it's wrong but when you taught it and it comes to my like a grand pause and you know you think it's right when it's not for God so loved the world the cause of salvation that He gave His only because the cost of salvation salvation is free to everybody you guys but it's definitely isn't cheap it costs Jesus's life now think about anybody else I forgave their life for you that's just be honest it no matter what you do on what you've done you see you get out of jail you got a record it follows you all the days of your life am I correct when you give Jesus Christ your life he washes not only your sin away but the record the record in other words you're not that person that came in here that doesn't mean you perfect you have to learn just like anybody else she has to understand the cause and I remember saying when I begin to kind of halfway pray a little bit Mike and Lawrence I'd say well you listen to me you know God you know what I'd done he went no I said what did you say he sound like idea what you told mine because he put my sin so far that he didn't just cover it he washed it away he saw the person that I had accepted Christ he didn't look at me he looked at the Christ in me that's why I'm preaching today listen man I went to my three years I'm 70 years old three years ago I went to my high school reunion you know what they said we know there's a God for you I never saw ugly woman in my life i kneecap she is fat black white purple green come here mama I didn't care I didn't care it made no difference to me but when Jesus came in my life some this won't sound nuts I literally did I would go look at myself in the mirror and says good god how come I'm not drinking today I come and they want to kill that guy that pulled out in front on that red light that's what my grandfather you know you chop that up you put in a bag you forget that boy that's terrible yeah see I don't tell that insurance good they can't handle that oh but but you guys you won't judge me you see what I'm saying I'm just being honest with you it'll be an honest with you you know and you hear people say I know what you're gonna you ain't anything you don't know what you're going through you ain't that you don't know what somebody went through you see I understood the cause then I understood the cost I said it costs God His only Son to get me ain't nobody ever done that for me for God so loved the world the cause that He gave His only begotten Son the cost then he said whosoever believeth the condition you see you gotta meet the condition there's a condition see and what is that to accept Jesus Christ as well and if you do mess up and you will you will but there's a God that says I can help you I can help you and let me just say this it's more than a program and programs are good to my son's name it's more than a program it's an inner witness something changed the condition I mythic and I thought well so Mike what I started to do is try to well maybe I need to do more to keep the condition I was trying to I don't know why I said prove myself to him he said you don't need to do that and I said God you got to give me some kind of example he says does your daughter have to do anything for her to be your daughter I'm saying no I have a lot of people that work for me without sound in private please don't accept I preached a two point nine billion people a week in 14 different languages across the world yes I don't understand I watched it if you would come to my office help you to get to me you got to go through security you got to go through Oh God maintenance you got to go through secretaries and executives second I'm not that I'm a big shot that's just the way it is except there's a girl there that can come through my private interest which is her name is Jodie she just walks in and says dad I don't care what I'm doing I say yes ladies and gentlemen I go to the throne I say father he said get out the way Jesse talking yeah do you see that now here's the thing I thought I had to earn that see religion might want you to earn it you can't earn it that's why it's frustrating that's why you backslide why you get away from sure you're trying to you trying to become something you already are you have to accept what he said instead of trying to earn what he said day in and day out and everything you know maybe to get somebody's I don't know see who you are I met the condition so when Jody I I remember she was 14 years old you got a preacher's kid people put pressure on but are you gonna be like your dad it'll be like your mom and I find out cause she she's under pressure so she came in when I said Joe did that I want to talk to you so now she said what daddy I said Jody listen to me you cannot ruin my reputation I just want you to be jewelry hey nothing you can do to stop me from being your daddy I said if you rob a store I pop a drive to get a wig off now I'd be chewing your little butt out you stupid Stewart I said nothing you could ever do stop me but being you your daddy that set that girl free I say you just be you the only one who can run my reputation is me see so now that's what the lowest enemy said now let's talk me and you Jesse you can't do anything that's gonna ruin my reputation I'm God Almighty I'm with you you understand I'm with you you know when I was raised with the people you know what I call it that life that I die with you you understand I die with you which meant that's this way what you know so I said okay they understood covenant you'd be surprised how many quote what the world calls criminals really understand covenant more than church people if you're in a gang man I mean you know you do it or else you understand cover you like one man told me that they say I'm behind you I said I fall I fall if I fall do you catch me or do I hit the ground come on I want to know I mean if you say that you know so I understood the cause that he loved me I understood the cost that he died for me I understood the condition and it was whether I didn't have to earn it it was given to me as a gift I had a hard time with that you see what I'm saying you couldn't give me nothing I could steal it from you which made me feel pretty good yes I mean you made me stupid you're not I could take it you know growing up and all that kind of crazy stuff you know but he didn't the Lord said I freely give it to you and if you mess up which you will I'm here for you now I don't want you to mess up you know you don't want you to do that but if you do if you do that's called grace I'll help you now I don't want you to do that I mean can you imagine a big crowd of people this woman's caught in the act of adultery and there's the guys with rocks gon kill this woman what about the guy that was me that did it wait he yet he got a rock in his hand he want to kill this or the wife don't find out about it that's different let me hit the first oh my god oh man I got trouble here what does Jesus say he said where you accusing well he said you don't have no sin cast the first stone oh boy they begin to drop the rocks and leave it he said then he said something and I think you'll understand this he says neither do i condemn you he didn't he didn't say hey your sins okay he said go sin no more not that went off of my mind Laurens like a like a rocket going on which means if Jesus says go sin no more then I have the ability not to sin ain't nobody ever told me that church number two minute you know you just got a sin of a day no you don't know you don't but she that's a religious lie you see he said he told that woman go send him I witness she had the ability to stop that which I love about God he did not break my will he asked me he literally just he could have broken my will he's got her Almighty do anything he wants but he said it's your choice so I understood the cause I understood the cost I understood the condition so mister for God so loved the world the cause that He gave His only begotten Son the cost that whosoever believeth the condition now here's the zapper shouldn't pair they say would not say should not perish but have everlasting life the consequence in other words you get paid what is that concrete consummate eternal life I see people say well that's only when you get to heaven now that's another religious life you can live on the earth just like as if you were walking the streets of gold inhibit now some people say and your mother I don't do younger television Hitler they let you myself in did y'all see all that stuff a couple years ago if you been in here more than two years they were running to me that I had four Jets anybody sawing that's the oh I never believe much in fake news you know President Trump said I do now they lied like dogs I mean I was in a hotel in new I walk out I had ABC CBS NBC HBO what they doing what are they doing it Good Morning America oh we want to talk to you I said we talk do what you got to do you know it made me mad and and the Lord said no don't go back to the old way cuz I know some people I mean I eat Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner with some of these people somebody messed with you they mess with us you understand you ain't got to get involved that's even till today yet I'm a light you know you know you got juice you know you got juice you know you maybe you can help me up with the with the man you know God Almighty one says I want you to see that I let you sit so I thought me the consequence eternal life the Lord said you can do those things but you don't have to I'll tell you a true story Long Island New York one of the five New York crime families I got one of the ground keep their name probably one of the grandsons got saved in my meeting he's on drugs they did everything they could and if you understand the Italian way of doing that you know they love the family downstairs family well I went preach Long Island all of a sudden this black limousine drives up in front these two guys get up like this and the ball and the underboss of the family comes in so the pastor the church says do you know who these people are yeah are you Sicilian no no no so they come up to and he says this is that way he said rabbi lieutenant if I take care of my son we did everything we could to get this bomb drugged you know he was going down a hole now you said I don't want to come personally said thank you you understand and I said oh you woke I said what's right I didn't really do that Jesus did that he said well I don't know man I don't know much about the Jesus stuff all I know he ain't doing it no money happen if he happy we all happy I wanted to personally say thank you so there there's the pastor wait there's the pastor doing this you know I'll go set another black his limousine pulls up this true story in the head of the family the boss of the boss has the copy to do did he copy comes in and when he come inside yeah but it like opening up the Red Sea instead he come walking in that's the faster he went even Cathy went and and he had that Marlon Brando if you ever seen the Godfather the movie and he says I wanted to come personally thank you for take care my know anything about Philadelphia New York as unions you ain't getting on that stage unions I mean they are funny about that you don't touch nothing you come into they take your stuff they set it up you don't touch it you pay them all kinds of money that's the way it is this guy was named Frank we were late cuz we'd hit some traffic they had 2,000 people standing out well yes standing outside to get in that Philadelphia Convention Center so I walked up to this guy named Frank I saw you the head of the division yeah yeah what and I said listen we will pay you double if you let my guys set it up cuz we knew we could set it up cooking you're not an iniquity you sure you shut up you nobody get on that stage I'll shut this sucker down he said a few F barman's and stuff like getting I'm looking at it so Jerry Savelle standing right there he says hey we're gonna be late Jesse he said we'll get to we can't you got it okay how many mumbling people out there and I heard this voice remember the number then number I said Jerry give me five minutes I'll be back in a minute that's 440 there's big you know cell phones so I go to then I call the number thesis rep are you doing we will watch a year today okay with us I got a problem here well yet I still haven't Philadelphus I got this Union guy as he won't let us on the stage and we don't mind paying him double you understand we pay a double I mean you know but we'll be late if we ever set it up they're like 8 o'clock is things for start at 7:00 but if we can get in there we could knock around get in there for seven he said Woody's name I said his name is Frank he said stay by the phone call you back in five minutes so I'm just landed by the phone it wasn't five minutes three minutes he's everything take care of go on the stage hung up he comes Frank Frank goes I'm sorry I'm sorry Oh oh wait oh oh I'm sorry I mean I meant no disrespect no disrespect you can do it with we're not even charging now I didn't know if I was missing God or not I just needed to get on that platform you know so here comes Jerry said I said the man said we can get on I said Jerry ain't that something he said yeah what a Lord working mysterious way though I said yeah I never told Jerry nothing until I was reaching the Southwest believers you might have been there when it kind of slipped out he went you did what but you know what they say we see something in you I said so you can't talk to those people less you talk to the link I said well you gotta understand I'm a made man you go I've made the righteousness of God Christ in you the hope of glory see you gotta talk that lingo you got you gotta go where they are you're not gonna get in that kind of circle even in a prison you don't go up to people I guess what you'd like to meet Jesus Christ is Lord of your life he's coming to your life and you can be just like me but you have to know where people are now my light my light and I thought Lord what do you got me what am I doing with this he said you're letting your light so shine so when their babies get sick some found babies do guess who they call now they're all Catholic but they still call me they invite me to the grandbabies christenings and I go I know you know just let my light so shine right why cuz I understand the consequence see the Lord said go in the world preach the gospel to every creature that's why I'm here tonight every creature you know ever christiana you know what that means when y'all in hit a world throw you away okay but not Jesus and you wanted to say something hear me did you wanna say something real quickly I can't hear you you have to follow what yeah okay his Commandments really they're not suggestions I wish they were sometimes I get kind of his commandment the Bible says this see when you understand he said you have to follow God's commandment see the church will makes God's commandments tough you know what God says about him they're not Grievous they're not as see God trusts you more than the church does young man do you see that when I begin to understand that now you know what you're doing wrong think I misunderstand but what happen he has a way to help you to where you know if you've got a problem because you know if time gets around you you spend your time bless your life oh no you know whatever you will get out of here one day you see what I'm saying well now now watch it now that world out there it's totally different than this world in here so you don't want to come back in that's why you got out but you see if you understand these Commandments they're not Grievous I don't find it hard living for Jesus I find it hard trying to be religious because you can't please nobody the Baptist don't like you cuz you're Catholic the guys they don't like here's your Baptists you know I mean you don't like the Jews oh well you know this is a white church no black food what do you mean wait for God so loved the world what does the world mean black people white people brown people yellow people red people look at me and me help you there's only five colors of people on the earth that's it there's black people brown people red people yellow people white people ready for this God created Adam out of the dust of the ground there's only five colors of dirt on the earth on the whole planet black dirt red dirt yellow dirt white dirt rounder so you know what you are dirt what's it if I if I cut if I cut you you bleed red here's a black gentleman here if I cut him he bleeds red that skin it's nothing it's 1/16 of an inch of pigmentation that's it and we've been fighting over that for millenniums I had a white guy he cuz he was Freddie he said what would you say to God if he was black I'd say what's up what's up well what would you say if he's white what's going down it's the same thing you see what I'm saying that I didn't ask nothing to do even the world says that but it has nothing to do with you you see now the way you go understand that is cos cost condition and consequence so when you see a man you don't see him as a black man or a white man or a brown man or yellow man or a red you see him as a man he's just the man you see what I'm saying not long ago I was out in New Orleans just you know it's 98 degrees and 100% of middling humidity that's Africa hot you know I'm saying I just I so I had a black friend of mine I didn't know somebody was watching me maybe was out there the most sweating like Missouri mules so we just got some water out of the faucet you know want to had one cup so he drank it and I grabbed this company to hit you and I thank you too and this guy said you drink after that guy I looked at him I said if he was drowning in a black man stuck his hand on there would you grab it I would you just die sucker not dumb y'all but I didn't like that see what I'm saying I learned that from the Lord he don't see none of this you see what I'm saying he just looks at your heart and he doesn't judge you but you he judge you but what Jesus did for you and all you have to do is accept it remember the record is washed away that's why god I said you don't remember what I did no never to be remembered against you anymore he said what'd you do I said nothing I said nothing I can remember because I'm still in his body but he cannot now some people don't believe in prosperity I do I tried broke that's dumb now what people say when I don't well when you get to heaven well the Bible says our Father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name thy kingdom come that will be done where where where or let me get black with it well or as it is where what we gonna believe what he said I mean what you gonna do when you get to heaven they said well the preacher shouldn't have this oh yeah you know everybody got to be poor in order what you're gonna do when you get to heaven what when you walk out man you walk it on gold streets and you see diamond Barrow Jasper Onyx Ruby pearl II get what you're gonna say no Jesus this ain't right I'm from South Texas you got a trailer no you know he's gonna tell you go to hell that's not cursing that's a location see he wants you living here like you would live there but here's the problem with the church they think Jesus was poured that's a dumb stupid slavery well he would have never been born in a stable if the lady wouldn't give away his room he had there was no room in the end oh you understand what I'm saying but it was born in a manger this is the only thing that Gallade I see the problem is that you should be looking at the baby who's the King of Kings the problem with the church were they're looking at the hey they're looking at the dirt now he couldn't get into the hotel fact I was in New York man and I said that my reservation she said oh you you you can't come in now I said but I paid you you already got more money yeah she said well you never have to wait wait wait wait whoa whoa she said we sold I said no no no no no no I never take no from a person who can't say yes I look at I said can you say yes we don't know I said give me some out of hire I said does your ancestors come from Bethlehem I said cuz they gave away Jesus room too so here comes the manager I see you can you run this whole operation yeah I said I want to talk I want more wrong let's see what we can do you looking around he says well we have one room but it's a it's a major suite I said I'll take it at the same price you understand you gotta do business he goes I don't know if it's clean I said what you're doing now he said well I'm gonna computer us and this walk-up there find out he said well I'm the president of the corporation I said I'm a president too of a corporation president know how to talk to each other come on I said bring the key with you brought the key and run was clean they say I don't take no from a person who can't say yes I see a lot of people said well we just no no no no no you ain't got to do that you see you got a god almighty who can say yes at any given situation see see what I'm saying my first cousin who's not passed away his name is Bobby Bobby the plans say they killed a man and they said he got life and Angola I got several my nephews in Angola the big house I come from a very rough family Bobby got born again I don't know who spoke to him in the prison I don't know if it was a magazine I don't know and they allowed him to make one phone call he'd been in there for years and he called me he said Jesse I say Bobby how you doing man he semana I don't know if I can do it no more I've been here I think it was 15 years and by that time he was like 54 I ever think something like that he said you think God could help me I really I shouldn't have done that I but but that man that did that is no longer living I said Bobby let me see what we can do and the first thing I did instead of going to calling the sheriff or the district attorney or some of the lawyer I went to the Lord I said God Bobby's turned out to be a good man he was a kid he did something stupid is he 17 years no not well yeah I've got I won't but more maybe there'll only 15 yet God could you help it I don't know nobody who can help me but I know you and you are judge a man's heart that's all I said Bobby didn't know that cuz I didn't know the call for the DA goes up you know what it wasn't more than about six months I got another phone call from Bobby said listen can you make copies of my case I said yeah he said they were they stopped they just called me said they're gonna really look at my case I said did you did you do it no I didn't do nothing he said did you do anything I said Bobby when I hung up with you all I asked was God to help you I'm not trying to raise your hopes up just telling you I said God I said Bobby you turn the Lord forgave you they reviewed his case you know who came to his defense the family of the boy he killed they saw the change in him they let him out of prison that's unheard of that's unheard of that doesn't happen but when God gets involved with your case but he can't do it unless you understand the cause the cost the condition of the consequence meeting him here well but just as suppose I never get out well then he gonna stay in prison all the days of your life he ain't leaving till you leave see what I'm saying and when I understood that if I going too long my god well you understand that that's what this message is about I don't care what you've done that ain't none of my business but it is God's business and he's here to forgive yes yes guys I'm I've been as honest as I can't wait I wouldn't lie to you I don't like people lying to me I don't like that I came here because you wouldn't judge me and I said some things I couldn't say in the church and I'm not against the church I'm just saying they don't understand sometimes and the Lord said you tell everyone those men that I died phone I don't save them and I'll help them and if they think they can't get off of drugs they think you know man this is gonna be so you just never had the most high in your veins well you know I'm just a natural-born thief I just steal stuff yeah you don't realize what God could maybe God would give you everything you want desire need you what do you think about stealing stuff because you see and I closer this it be something called favor which is what we call a righteous cause favor now when you understand that sometimes you can't explain it is it can I mean you may try he said well I'm gonna try to get this like no there's something even today as long as I've been preaching I've been preaching 43 years there's something God does I just don't understand I thought I try to figure it out I'll say this and I'll close I have to watch what I say cuz I get it yeah spiritually physically financially it don't make no difference I said God why he'd do that he said with you I'm with you I never leave you I'll never forsake you and I had to talk the way I understood you see what I'm saying so I don't care where you come from your nationality your color you really do it this coz who knows sir you're born again I may live next door to you and heaven wouldn't be something I'd be at your house every day it was so I wish I could get to know people I I wish I could when Mike barber became my spiritual son don't I don't I make big big babies I mean I've never Mike and his wonderful wife Janine I mean we just love Mike I got to thinking God when he prayed for the Houston knowledge it's a pro football can you imagine this man running at you mad what mine but killing on his mind and can do it on the field I made a mistake never think of that me and Mike barber would ever get together I never thought of that not wildest dreams but you know what God changed him made him a prisoner so can they stand up at that already bucking it okay did you just stand to your feet for just a short time I'm gonna pray right now listen to me and I'm gonna say this and some of the others and I'll never forget you I don't live ladies and gentlemen I will preview everyday I got some people have come to my meetings that got born again Oh what are you sending me this new one isn't I wouldn't made it ready Jesse it preaches so would you pray this prayer Lord Jesus I ask you come into my life forgive me of all my sin I confess my sin before you this day i denounce Satan and all his works I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life thank you for saving me for drawing me close to you I believe with my heart I confess with my mouth Jesus rose from the dead I am saved I will no longer struggle what all the junk that put me in here that tries to keep me here from this day forward I am yours you are mine I pray this prayer to the father in the name of Jesus give the Lord a standing ovation you just got saved just got safe pretty simple wasn't it not that hard now let me say one more thing and what all the ones that think I don't know if that's real enough so I'm talking to you it's not a prayer feeling it's a prayer of faith you see young man I used to think of I didn't feel God what am i doing man what I ain't working you know said it and he said you don't pray by feeling you pray by faith you know what I said I said okay I understand you know I wouldn't mind feeling a little bit I don't know about you see it's all by faith how many of you knew I was coming here tonight how'd you know you couldn't see me you couldn't hear me you couldn't touch me you couldn't smell me I was not in the rim of your five senses but you got out of your selling game now you mind it some of you may allow yourself just so you have to be in them okay beliefs you can see you came expecting and no evidence to the fact that I was gonna be here but you did anyway that same prayer you just prayed even though you may feet may not feel it but I've got a feeling that when you get back that cell you by your lonesome and it's you and you let God help you you just let him help you you just let him help and not some of the time all the time so if I don't get to see you here I'll see you when you get to heaven oh I wanna make this announcement you'll be
