Magtheridon Raid Guide TBC Classic: Raid Guides Done Quick

[Music] hello everyone this is proofrock and today we're going to have a look at magtheridon there is no attunement for this raid so you simply need to be level 65 to be able to zone in the trash at the start here is not too challenging they come in packs of three it will spam shadow bolt volleys and these will need to be kicked make sure you move around the outside of the zone here and clear up all of these trash packs because they will aggro when you fight the boss moving on to magtheridon himself at the start of the fight there will be five hell fire channelers they will all be standing next to cubes and these will become important later on in the fight make sure you put raid markers on all of these mobs and that way when you need to assign raiders to clicking the cubes in the future you can have an easier way of pointing people towards which cube they are responsible for when you hit any of the hellfire channelers the rest of them will aggro and you will need to assign tanks to all five of them the channelers will also spam shadowbolt volumes and again these will need to be kicked and you should assign people to take care of this in addition they will be healing themselves and again the dark mending ability they cast is also kickable also the chandlers will summon a bissells that have a fire damage aura around them and will melee for a substantial amount these will need to be either feared banished or tanked as each hellfire channeler dies a stacking buff will be placed on each of the remaining channelers meaning that the last mob that is still alive will deal substantially more damage when the last hellfire channeler has died then theredon himself will become active and your main tank will need to pick him up immediately agatha himself has a frontal physical cleave so it's important to only do damage to him from the sides and the back furthermore he will cast a conflagration ability which will put a ground based fire damage effect on the floor and you should avoid moving into these at random points during the fight he will also cast quake which will cause a seven second series of knockbacks if you are dpsing the boss it's important to make sure that you don't continue to hit the boss if you get knocked back in front of him as you could parry hasten causing additional damage onto your main tank core ability however is his blast nova approximately every minute he will initially cast last nova and then channel blast note while he is channeling blast nova after the initial cast it will deal heavy raid fire damage to everybody however if five members of your raid team each individually click a cube during the channel part of blast nova this will prevent any damage being inflicted to your raid while each member of your raid is clicking one of the cubes they will be taking damage so they should be healed and also after they have clicked a cube they will not be able to click another cue for a minute and a half therefore you need a rotation of a minimum of three people assigned to each cube it's important that you do not start clicking during the cast of blast nova but only during the channeled phase finally at thirty percent my theradon will collapse the roof in and everyone will take heavy physical damage it's a good idea to pause your dps before 30 so that you do not have an overlapping blast nova with the roof collapse during the roof collapse this is a good time for any of your classes that can become damage immune such as paladins with divine shield and mages with ice block to try and avoid some of the raid damage otherwise this is another good spot for your raid to use their health stones [Music] thanks again for watching the video i hope to see you in the next one [Music]
