[Music] hello everyone this is proofrock and today we're going to have a look at grawes lair so this is a fairly short raid encounter with only two bosses king mogar and gruel the first encounter hiking morgaar um comes with four additional ads on top of king morgaar himself the most difficult part of this fight is the initial pull and getting all the mobs tanked and into an appropriate position to start putting damage into them as a general rule of thumb you're going to want to try and spread out all of the different mobs here the first mob you're going to be wanting to focus is blind eye he is essentially a priest you should be tanked by a traditional tank and your dps should be focusing on interrupting his various heals next up you're gonna want to switch to on the summoner he should be also tanked by a traditional off tank such as a wario druid or a paladin but he must also have a warlock focusing on him who is enslaving his wild bell stalkers next up is crash firehand who is essentially a mage he should also be tanked by a mage in this case by hand has a minor 75 magic damage buff on himself but it can be spell stolen by mages so a mage should immediately spell steal his buff and then use that to tank his fireballs he also has a aoe blast wave so he's very important to try and tank away from the other mobs finally you have kigler the crazed who is essentially a shaman type mob he will cast a polymorph on his primary target therefore the best raid member to try and tank him would be a boomkin as they are immune to polymorph however you can try and tank him with two ranged dps for example and who can trade him back and forth getting polymorphed he will do a 30 yard arcane explosion with a knockback that also has a threat drop element to it so he is very hard almost impossible to tank with a regular melee tank once you've got all the other ads killed you can switch over to viking morgar as the last mob to kill he uses a frontal cleave throughout the fight and a knock back on his primary target and will occasionally start whirlwinding below 50 he will also gain a melee range aoe fear and also will start randomly dropping threat and this can often coincide with his whirlwind and he will start whirlwinding towards your raid so it's important to taunt and get him pulled out of the road before he starts killing you're raged overall this fight isn't too challenging once you've got the pull down and you've got the tank assignments sorted out but it might take some of your members a few pulls just to get the handle of it especially some of your majors and warlocks who are doing some tanking here because they're not so used to it [Music] [Applause] [Music] the second encounter is gruel himself and he is overall quite an easy fight he is essentially a dps check but he's quite an easy dps check so coming in your raids on your first attempt on him might have a few wipes but after a couple of weeks he'll will be easy far mode for your guild as far as his abilities gruel has a stacking 15 damage increased buff that he will gain every 30 seconds his key mechanic is his ground slam shadow combination and here he will knock back the entire raid and a stacking debuff will apply 20 movement speed reduction that will go all the way up to 100 and then turn to a stone debuff where you can't move at all once stone is applied he will then use shatter and damage will be applied to raid members based on their proximity to other raid members so the idea here is after the knockback you trying to move away from everyone else in the raid to reduce the damage from the shatter also he will use a reverberation ability which will cause a four second silence across the raid you need to keep your tanks topped up at all times to try and avoid any tank deaths during that four second window also there'll be random cave-ins which are just stones falling from the sky which will cause a small area effect physical damage the raid just needs to move out of those his last core mechanic is a patchwork-like hurtful strike it's called in this case which essentially is a heavy physical damage ability that will hit the second player on the threat table when you combine this with his growth essentially you've got a dps race where you need to kill him before his damage and his hurtful strikes outpaces your ability to be able to heal but overall he's not too challenging and after a few pulls and especially a couple of weeks in once your guild has some gear you're not gonna have any problems with him at all [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] as always thanks for watching the video i hope you found it useful if you did feel free to subscribe so that you can catch my future guides as they come out in addition if you want to catch me leveling up to 70 live i will be streaming that on my twitch and i should be live most days for sort of five six ten hours for the next week or so again thanks for watching i hope to see you in the next one
