Luke and Tors’ Game Night - Biped

welcome everyone to Luke and tours game night we're gonna have a lot of fun I'm Luke I got tours here with me tours on the mic check check tours you can hear me tours hay tours here today we're gonna be playing some biped this game is available for PC and ps4 and as of July 2nd is now on the switch which is what we're playing on now this game comes from the indie developer next studios we want to incredibly simple you just use your left and right stick to move your bipedal robot throughout the world of course because this is a puzzle game though it never really is that simple this game has been known to put relationships to the test so today I'll be playing with my lovely wife tours to see if that holds true we game a lot together and very rarely do we end up enemies in the end but today we're gonna see a biped we'll break us can we start now player 1 yeah we can start we can we can just start playing I think that's best if we just actually just start playing game they say this will put your relationship to the test so we'll see I think I think we're pretty good I think we'll be able to do this we've played a few games like that though yeah relationship testers yeah that where they say oh this'll this'll break you it'll break your very spirit so you can either play solo or you can play couch co-op but there's no couch co-op multiplayer so you couldn't play co-op with someone you know like online but you can if they're in your on your couch like you are Hey so yeah two separate controllers same switch oh good we're gonna I saw one video of this and it looked it looked interesting so I'm really excited for the first level level 0 training hello space helper bots let me get ready let me get you ready for your mission on the blue planet try to raise your left store oh do you want the chicken hat it looks like you could put it on your person look kinda looks pretty good I'm doing it for the video I'm just buying them right now boom my reading glasses it's a good choice dense forest I prefer a dense jungle walk on platforms that match your own color hey you know I was just testing it no oh did you just die I just fell off one biped can't hold on oh whoa only one step one one step one step one step okay that counts even if I don't go anywhere that once though we're kind of close here I can pump a little there's plenty of room we did it I only fell once you get where your left foot is where your right foot is I could see this just it being like an extension of your own body yeah it's easy and difficult and those are the best puzzle games the concept can you uh can you step so I can oh you don't know the time I think I'll be okay here yeah I'll be fine but let's just stay in the middle step we'll be okay step step we're okay okay just put your foot up we'll be fine no oh hey he's fine you know what I want to know is how this whole society was created by some robots did only have two appendages or we go to the next level do you want 13 deaths that time only 13 deaths every 13 minutes yeah we still didn't meet the par on anything yeah but it looked a lot better we looked pretty good there and harmony hundred percent you know the controls they just kind of makes this is gonna be right so it's very simple you either just just one foot what do they mean by that music eyes yeah you gotta be real quick just fast he's got to have good coordination finesse I don't know like it like the vine like the vine yeah oh wait okay you go yeah I won't move yeah okay thanks for the pep talk you had it I needed I needed a little encouragement there but we made it so bull race 150-foot up nice we're not dead okay I'm ready huh oh we had it there we had it there you got it come on come on come on please don't tell me we got to go back with this man oh we can no no I ran across so I said quick step but then we stopped at the end so he can get him we did it we did it guys 20 feet in the house this feels like a beacon beep I told you to be here so just we wanted to check and you can put any of the items on either of the characters so we bought both of these glasses and we could put either one on either character which is pretty nice but I think I think we should save our money maybe try to go for the chicken we're at 166 so that's pretty high I think we could hit chicken otherwise we're going to snowy peak we appear to be tethered this is this level we must be tied together heels right sliding around on the ice map yeah it does the slot oh I didn't mean to hit that so quick but stay away from me I've got a barrel yeah you definitely got to watch that icicle pattern [Music] here we go you got it go go go up I'm trying oh we did it oh my robot life flash before yes oh wow you already can look at that top of the mountain we're good we gotta buy the chicken hat can we yep 220 you want to wear it should we both wear it I think we should both wear it yep I'm definitely gonna wear it there we go yep chicken had gain height Rita I like the art style a lot it's anybody difficult to tell us apart with both of us wearing the chicken hats yeah I guess that's the thing we didn't think about but we'll get through it why am i working I am the chosen one so was I guess the whole level it this at level at least is gonna be all about chopping logs and I'll saw here and you're definitely gonna have to catch get on down here grab from you go and there we go how fell to my death it is really really it like just very cute it's just like like you were saying earlier very pleasant to look at it's a great little game because it's very simple at the end of the day like you only use your sticks to move and you really get good at it I I'd love to look at the footage from when we first started to had terrible we were at walking probably grab that you probably have to pass it to yeah guarantee it yeah pass it has it first sure I oh here we go I'm gonna have to pass to you oh look at us Oh beacon time already beacon yeah this is definitely beacon we might actually that felt fast if you would push this getting sassy we got almost we got the Stars seven out of six we almost didn't die six times yeah I definitely thought we played that one pretty well we're just slowly becoming more powerful the beacons were activating or adding to our power you know this is like pretty early in the level and I it always gets harder I can just tell this is this is gonna be a tough one with the water we had a pretty easy day with the logs I mean we died but we didn't fall off the water is definitely gonna punish us a little here get on either side of him so maybe don't push him too far port around him honey oh I see no he lost him nice no he's okay we'll go we'll go grab him again kind of holding him so tenderly his dock yes fix your boat oh I didn't know the poop of death I didn't I didn't mean rush him go yes poby oh that was very close keep pushing keep pushing oh don't let him fall don't let him fall he's falling and I think he's gonna if I'm not here he's gonna definitely go down this path can you just try to move them oh I see the dock the sweet sweet dock that oh yeah you can we made it the champions so far I'd say yeah hardest level 43 so it appears were on the last level here Sunset Ridge there are also some other levels these Pro levels that look absolutely insane if you want us to try those out you can always hit that like button that'll let us know you want us to try out these Pro levels they look they pretty challenging we might die a hundred times doing something like that but if you want to see that make sure hit the like button but we're gonna go into Sunset Ridge now I like the look of this I like that I'm not in a boat makes the boat level better yeah you know if you go slow I can I can see it oh yeah little steadier than that there's a person on this thing make me laugh so I said just be super super serious yeah made it look how smooth and steady that is what a nice experience I bet there's no fear no fear at all or man says god I'm gonna whack it you're gonna have to actually move we did it though for those of you at home watching if you didn't notice we are in our glasses again we decided to go back to the glasses I control these ones you control the one in the middle make a V I'm not even on the thing I'm trying to get my my right thumb into it we did it flip the switch you see what happened Wow good timing wonderful timing it should not have been that easy can I move it now - okay let's see if I can first try it okay now this is the real first drawing it was no other tries other than this one that's the sweet spot [Laughter] [Laughter] oh here we go here we go keep me in the middle home stretch keep me in the middle okay otherwise it returns to its original I was I was feeling it for a second there though you were going right across it was very close hey you're there nice you weren't you were close enough doesn't feel honorable but I'll take it I'll take that puzzle over any water pipe the waterfall was a very punishing vinyl challenge so now we're here at the final challenge scared we have to get in that hole right close I'll try to pinball it little it's harder than it looks you were very close there well I wasn't recording for the end of Sunset Ridge and that's because it took so long I ran out of hard drive space as you can see forty-six minutes for a ten minute part time and we also had 70 deaths whereas normally you're only supposed to get eight so not a very good not a very good performance at all but this is a game that could last you a while if you wanted it to oh for sure you know there's all those pro levels to go back to also to make the par time get all the stars you know hundred percent it yeah 100 percent in this game would take a long time and I think there's definitely a lot of time there again if you guys want to see us play more of this game make sure to hit that like button and tell us down in the
