Luigi's Mansion 3 Gameplay Walkthrough Part 1 - Luigi's Vacation! The Last Resort!

hello zebra herd welcome to Luigi's Mansion 3 on the Nintendo switch this is oddly not so spooky this looks pretty happy right of course we're pretty familiar with the Luigi's Mansion series last year we played the original remastered on the Nintendo 3ds and then just a couple weeks ago I played through Luigi's Mansion two Dark Moon on the 3ds as well so I'm all caught up the speed with all the Lita's Mansion action we are good to head into this game so let me know how you guys are enjoying it and how much you want to see of this game but with that being said let's get started with Luigi's Mansion three [Music] it's so sunny and happy this is like the opposite of every other Luigi's Mansion game oh it's a little bus I think that was a princess peach's crown on the side of it so I guess maybe peaches in there and there's a picture of like a hotel toad is driving I that's a little questionable you can barely see over the steering wheel does he have a license really oh no oh boy oh no no he doesn't happen you probably should be wearing your seat belt though Oh daddy's fault er oh you're so cute Oh what is that [Music] some kind of postcard is so cute out of belly rub [Music] what is it oh I guess we're here so they're going to some kind of fancy resort [Music] what a gentleman Mari you can help carry some of them Oh Oh No yikes poor toad seat Luigi carries his own luggage because he's the real gentleman they're wonderful [Music] I couldn't have said it any better that's a big hotel Wow this is really nice very royal vacation for Princess Peach and all her friends I like it the only problem is usually when Princess Peach goes on the vacation it turns out very badly I hope they allow dogs at the hotel oh wow there's lots of people here oh they're very esteemed guests oh this is so cool what can I do can I talk to you hey buddy how are you I took at my luggage I can knock it over almost uh oh man this is such a pretty game it's beautiful hey Mario of course he goes right for the cake oh I love it what does it happen again hey bro alrighty what's going on over with a Princess Peach can I walk any faster than this I don't think so the hotel is so big Luigi it's gorgeously decorated - we're so lucky to have got an invitation to come here Kiki bye you have anything else to say nope ok see you later everybody's talking so much I like it these guys look a little creepy though I don't know how to feel about that and we talked to the toads first you guys seen any help her Princess Peach definitely didn't forget to pack anything ah Luigi Oh watch out you guys are probably wearing helmets Oh can I help it all my head's stuck I can't get it out no boy I don't know if I can help whoa it's like bolt the pumps China assist a little bit hello is something the matter I hope nothing is making your stay here less than perfect our entire staff is devoted to providing you with the ideal look Vicky shouldn't experience okay you look like you're wearing a mask for some reason but hey I'm not here to judge I'm here to enjoy my vacation anything else around here whoa what do you do and never get a big mess of things but I do appreciate the flowers there was just confetti in that present alright so we'll talk to that I feel like talking to the main guy we'll move the game forward so I want to talk to everybody else first like you up here on the stairs you don't look very enthused it looks like you haven't checked in yet please make your way to the front desk it's right over there okay one minute one minute anybody over this fight looks like we have some tea we could take please make yourself comfortable perhaps you would like to sample our selection of beverages sure can I actually walk up and try some oh I can now it just brings me back over here all right never ride anybody else to talk to I love Luigi spiffy little walk too he's got a place to be but he doesn't want to rush too much cuz I'd look like he's making a scene what do you think of the hotel wait he's floating he does have any feet down there we take pride in the luxury and splendor it offers he was definitely not gonna have to tear his shoes so then spooky is going on here and this guy's blocking the elevator my apologies for the inconvenience but the elevator is temporarily out of service well you should have it in tip-top shape soon all right well then that's everybody I think we could talk to here's a little map of I guess the entire hotel it even has a couple basement floors well we can actually take a closer look that is a lot of different floors so I don't know if this will be like Luigi's Mansion to where we explored oh now the balloons goodbye that we explored multiple areas I think it's all gonna be in this hotel we'll find out I love Mario's luggage by the way it's very Mario hello oh he's creepy welcome guests to the last resort of course it's called the last resort are you ready to check in what happens if I say now not a problem at all make yourself comfortable please see me when you are ready I'm ready I just wanted another excuse to ring the bell welcome guests yep yep yep yeah I'm ready oh oh hello guests welcome to the last resort my name is Helen gravely and I am the owner of this hotel I am absolutely delighted that you decided to accept my invitation she's got some wild hair going on you all must be very tired come allow me to show you to your rooms oh no need to worry about your luggage our exceptional staff will take care before you he's still so creepy oh wow that was quick you're you're our VIPs after all we've prepared a first-rate experience for you all the trappings of luxury shall we get going [Music] all right so we're all going on the elevator do we all fit I guess we do she's so much taller that everybody it's weird so how high are we going up the floor five I suppose so how this game is so pretty I love that the lighting is beautiful Mario Luigi and peaches rooms are over here we've prepared rooms for you toads as well I hope you enjoy your stay I daresay you'll remember it for the rest of your lives ha ha ha that's foreboding so I guess we get our own room that's cool it's like the middle of the day you guys go to bed I love how they say night-night though so what's going on in this room whoo very cool very cozy I love it everybody everything is literally sparkling that's how clean it is can I look at this picture not really hey there buddy well time the rest not yet not yeah I gotta look around a little bit more um what do we got over here Oh another room is this like a bathroom you bet it is oh here's a buddy again happy I lied you're so cute oh my gosh I love how much voice acting from the game already you guys washing up a little bit the toilet is huge okay don't fall in there's not really much we can do though oh there's a little room service can we order like a nice big pizza now got the window not really we're thinking Gulf to buy the light ah what is that about I don't know I guess I just wanted to spook him what's in there nothing all right well looks like we searched everything it's time to go to path not much to do around you they don't even have a pool or nothing yeah I guess it is I don't know if they're like staying here like this is a vacation or maybe there's something nearby and they just stay here overnight I don't know so what it'd be pack a flashlight his journal and I guess like a fresh pair of overalls in case he needs it is the flashlight for Lydia reading in the dark I guess I mean I'm sure they have a lamp ah [Music] must have been a really good read Oh No what's happening ah Oh No on the first night the thing you did bring the flashlight well what happened all the plants are all spooky now everything is spooky oh it's very misty - did somebody leave the window open even though the balloons are mad at us ah oh this is even worse than before what about inside of here is there anything new and anything oh well hey money okay already coins are there's some crows out there yeah this like little bouquet baskets now I can goopy Coldren with fish inside oh no everything's designed to scare us what about the bathroom also where's Poulter pop puppy where'd you go can I open this I don't think I can that doesn't do anything oh gosh well I put that in the toilet don't do that okay let's leave then there isn't really anything I can do around here hello what in the world we're going in the spooky dimension [Music] this isn't right at all uh what is this is this a little laundry chute things so no Luigi don't don't fall down that not yet I'm sure we'll be able to do that at some point not now here's all her luggage she didn't even take it in and I thought they said they had a handle this is subpar service what is with this isn't was shaking around I don't like how the balloons is flyer why oh yeah oh gosh it's a spider okay it's gone it's gone so is this Mario's room in 502 Mario oh yeah I can still call for Mario my mama Mario you had a lot of Pizza Mario you are a sloppy eater no don't eat off the floor me he's not even your house ah so where did everybody go he has little Mario's slippers that's great yeah he didn't have anything spooky in his cabinet ah a bunch of dust Mario is nowhere to be seen I hope the same isn't for Princess Peach but I guess want to find out got some janitor stuff over this way 5:01 princess are you in here no she's not uh she's a little diary can't read it thought I'd be rude shouldn't do that without asking whoa what's with the paper airplane so a lot of her luggage is in here for perfume or crumpled umbrella oh no a label kid ah okay she had like the whole collection huh poor Luigi I don't see anything else going on though can we go out into the balcony maybe not looking like it all right so their rooms are just totally cleared out so where is everybody oh my oh no the lights are going out who's going out of that elevator oh we don't get to see I'm scared ah it's the hotel lady she's a ghost now well well well if it isn't my most esteemed VIP I was just on my way to see you is your room living up to your expectations doesn't it scream good taste I mean we didn't get room service yeah so I can't really say much about the pace oh I can barely contain myself you have no idea how much I wanted you to accept my invitation why is that I'm sure you're wondering you see there is someone I truly adore he's the inspiration for some of my greatest ideas like inviting you here I'm such a huge fan of his that's why it's a wonderful that I get to introduce him to you that's right Luigi wait Oh er is he the person you want to meet or does Luigi know him I'm getting confused I hope you're ready oh my oh no it's Kate mu again hahahaha surprise Luigi it's a me King's booth that old coot had me locked up tight in his lab again he let you out right but guess what I got out the hotel owner here was just dying to meet me so she busted me out pretty lucky huh anyway I didn't think you'd actually show up here I was ready though just in case in fact my vengeance is nearly complete what do I mean by vengeance glad you asked I'm trapping you and everyone in your little vacation party in frames again ah there there Luigi it'll all be over soon it's all time for a family reunion booyah take that oh and there's one more frame of course I saved it especially for you stay right there and put on your best terrified face Luigi this is game over Oh No get out of here run oh we got a run okay go in there I can't go in there okay oh he is not looking happy where's the janitor ever day to you oh gosh run run not catering I still have it at dinner and not the luggage the toes work so hard on that okay yeah now we could go down a laundry chute you don't have a choice I gotta jump down Luigi oh no wow that's a steep fall I hope you'll be okay hope there's like a big pile of laundry in the bottom and now it's spooky Luigi's Mansion 3 whoa Wow and now it's in the spook overs or whatever oh and that's even better I like it this is so cool that was a really fun opening I really enjoyed how personable all the characters were I think they liked it I think all of the Mario characters express themselves more than they have in like 20 years it's amazing maybe that's exaggerating a little bit oh hey it's our puppy you okay buddy [Music] so now we're in the dark mysterious laundry room looks like nobody's done laundry for who knows how long these things even work so what is this I didn't know I immediately noticed this thing up here is glowing but guess we can't really reach it there's sort of a couple of things glowing I don't know what the deal is with that I'm pressing like out the bugs not really any of them doing anything yeah and there's stuff on here oh it's coins its money Oh oh gosh and there's a gem okay so okay can I get that and I interact with it not right now oh there are some coins we can pick out nice five five dollars already yeah what do you do when you're making a big mess they're gonna put it on our tab this is a picture of like a sasquatch oh don't us in the trash ooh who's throwing out whole Donuts now all are in the parking lot what's over this way trash and more trash no wonder the janitor quit all right there's another gem in there there's lots of gems that's like the power generator room or something so where's our pup pal go hopefully somewhere around here okay that's a familiar car that's a very familiar looking car could it be what I think it is oh no it isn't well you know that's just as good as anything else Oh is there something in there let's find out ah just as I suspected the poltergeist and where there is the Poltergust there is a professor is in there let's hope Wow I love his dance okay so yeah I guess we don't know yeah I got it I guess I gotta use it on him as you can see we can't we can flash with the flashlight and then what button we press I don't I just hold a I don't know I gotta like reload of the controls are they okay then er there we go and as you can see you can suck him up but we don't want to capture our buddy and then we could push hoho way to get out of here and if we hold both at once whoa what was that we made everything jump I don't know what was going on Wolffe comfortable with what you learned mildly thank you so happy and good bye hmm I guess we're on our own oh look at this I can pull off these things and get some money oh and look at this okay now I can use the motion controls to look around a little bit so that'll be useful so so far this is starting to control a lot like Luigi's Mansion one and two did but I decided I didn't want to assume so a lot to trash around lots of different things we can get I guess just random objects we can suck up and get some money out of it too there's a little letter on the floor and too much with that okay how much money can we get in the first level then I don't know if it's gonna be broken up into levels or if it'll be more like Luigi's Mansion one I'm starting to think it is nothing else's side okay and take all the cobwebs and stuff you know the janitors here not here we might as well do the job for him okay let's get over that way real quick got these dollar bills okay so definitely I'll be trying my best of course like I did with Luigi's Mansion - I'm going to try my best to 100% this game of course I've never really played it whoa oh can we hit this with a flashlight yeah we can and there's our first gem all right so there's six to find I'm guessing on the entire game maybe this area or this floor there's another coin on the ground oh there's a little mouse can I get him with the flashlight yep turns them to a coin pull it up out this one right here couple more coins for us and wait come on there we go so not all of them are giving me coins there's a couple more can I take up the trash as well I'm sorry little little mouse I feel bad doing that so that's the way we came in from what we'll leave there in a second I just definitely wanna explore whatever I can over this way there's another little mouse hole I can add a couple coins out of it awesome so I already had 100 coins this is great can I point out again how sinking pretty this game is we just opened up the garage door sorta kinda ah not quite so a kink we can't leave that's unfortunate grab some money oh wait I got hid all I must have ran right into him okay oh there's a big stack of cash right up here well that's a ton of money absolute ton of money Wow okay and there's still more that was a lot of cash worth of $400 so let's see can we get into here now I can kick this open Wow some of the money somehow fell down there and some extra health but it doesn't look like I can get into this room just yet so I'll have to leave that for some other time there's a red gem hopefully we can get it so where is the exit right here oh my indeed so I know I could go back and probably get a couple of things maybe we should try that out I mean hey why not so first off yeah let's grab all this money all these golden bars and everything Wow we're gonna have thousands of dollars by the end of the first level if it is in levels I don't really doubt what about these pieces of paper that doesn't really do much but there was a cracked wall behind it so that really doesn't do anything hmm I thought that maybe we could like suck up the door and open it that way that doesn't quite work oh there is this valve what'll that do I mean that makes a bunch of cash of course best place to hide your money in the pipes I don't recommend that so what else do you have going on not too much I do see a dollar under that thing but we got a gold bar a bunch of dollar bills and I think that's just about all I can get in here for now but hopefully we can come back at some point these are all stuck they're starting to disappear there we go let's back up a little bit I got some of them and a couple more gold bars down that way it's definitely worth it for us to get whatever money we can now so it's turning that on it only affected the the extra cash you got it's then do anything with the laundry machines maybe we can turn the power off or something oh I'm starting to run if I just run in one direction oh look at this I wonder if we get the one light whatever it's called the dark light I wonder if that maybe will help us Oh make sure to get this money up here sorry sometimes the controls are a little difficult there we go and inside of this little mouse hole maybe off the fire hunch I don't know if that's a very good idea but there's a fire we're gonna need that thing perfect okay so far so good with the cash so looks like we finally found an elevator bull can we also flash that that'll open up huh there's lots of signs that there might be a certain doctor we know of ah good thinking Luigi but let's also try the elevator oh we could go through the elevator I don't know what to do maybe I should check this room first is there a map I don't think there's a map huh okay cuz this is like a whole room that'll give me some money you know usually the vending machine takes the money but this one gives you money okay that's I'm not complaining that's a lot of treats so what is going on over this way I can't really see oh whoa whoa okay we got like a hidden treasure chest in here it has more money man oh man ends we also got a pearl okay that's gonna be a lot more cash I don't see too much more except for checking the trash cans and stuff which of course leads to lots of cash cuz that's where everybody hides her money trash cans so I guess maybe but we just had the choice of guys of doing the elevator or taking the steps I don't mind getting some cardio and oh we can't go any higher than that so looks like we've truly reached our dead end for right now we can go use that the elevator oh wait wait wait hey what are you doing can I can I oh I see what he's doing if you hold ZL and Zr at the same time it pushes the air downward making us do like a little jump oh so Louise you can jump in this game how do I get down there you can see this like a little grid right here oh you know what no okay that's something I'll have to figure out maybe I should have taken the elevator but the steps end right here so maybe not okay there's some money under the cushions of course so what happens if I I do that here I mean a bunch of stuff breaks but besides property damage not much okay it won't make like the couch itself a jump or anything I didn't notice that over this way that looks a lot like a gem but I can't quite get it oh no I didn't want to do that yeah well let's see what happens if I go in the elevator I can interact with the thing I can go back to be one but that's it all the other buttons have been taken out so the stairs really were my go-to thing here gotcha cuz now we're back on the main floor everybody's been X down little do they know I'm still at large oh no more ghosts are blocking up the entrance who are you rubbing your ball on the floor I don't shoo him away that's rude here I thought he didn't notice me oh no he's locking us in all right you want to go let's go oh wow he's like frozen in place he's such a weird bike oh here we go so I guess he has to make contact with like the opening oh man oh we are slamming him he's gonna feel that one in the morning where'd he go [Music] I don't know right there come on get him get him thank you very much nicer first ghost captured can't believe it but there's more oh he's noticed us he's calling in the troops no he's got backup that's for sure okay let's charge up and try to get two for one oh no run run I really want to get a two-for-one here so let's just try to angle things up I don't know if it's gonna work that way all right then I'll just have to go for it for now but let's try this a lot more this time ready this works a lot differently than it did in we just mentioned one or two so just gotta keep that in mind and get you as well oh hey buddy wait what's going on there was he just giving me pointers or was he telling me something I don't know what was going on there I don't know what he's trying to say oh well I guess we've had him helping us out now I don't know what he's doing yeah I don't understand Ali's helping us look at that that's so cute oh that's so weird though I might be doing it wrong but I guess there's like some kind of combo move you can do with the Poulter pot there we go come on come on come on I'm just gonna get them like this right now because we almost got him but there's more I can do with the pole tip up I'll try to figure that out as we go along yeah you did it good job is there anything else we could do around joking in a bit of cash and health oh and I can pull these down if I wanted to can I open this up you bet I can that has a lot of dollars up there they're sort of floating all around go quickly grab them so what do we get one thousand six hundred and forty seven dollars already so I can't leave through the front door unfortunately it's all barred off lots of pumpkins and everything that I mentioned I'm playing this on Halloween Day because that's the day came out so this button will lower the chandelier over there but I can't do much with it right now maybe at some point I could pick something up and put it there but I did see while we were fighting that of course poulter pop is making a big mass fun there was a key right there on the bottom left I can't quite get over there oh actually there we go you just have to do it a little bit of a different way I love the padded way of exploring and what is this about whoa look at that can I get up there I mean I guess I don't have to yeah I'll bring it to me oh man or baby actually if you have to get up there I can't seem to quite get it but that is a purple gem I just have to go up and grab it so there we go oh I see so it looks like there are different types of color gems you can find so how do I get this oh I just walk up and touch it there we go awesome so I got the key I get a gem working out pretty well and then there's another one up here oh gosh the phone's ringing hello very sinister laugh guess they're just trying to scare us a little bit how can I get up there chances are I might have to aha how do I do this the controls are a little wonky not good enough okay it's very hard to aim just right oh that's super weird that's super difficult there that didn't work how many chances do I get at this hopefully a lot I might be doing this wrong it doesn't seem to be right okay well I'll try one more time and then I'll just move on if not I'll be able to come back I'm sure yeah it's it's super picky about it yeah that's not working that's fine I'm not sure this is something else what else do we have around you I can pull down the curtains again not too interested in doing that I'll blow these cushions away though for some extra cash inside the trash can there's not much oh wait there is and some extra dollar bills okay well lots of money so far not too many ghosts weirdly enough but we'll go of this way for now I think we've sort of explored everything else oh hey what do you have - you're gonna go to that door gotcha well I'll try that door in a moment I want to check everything else out for the time being I'm making in there a little bit more money oh I can I can suck up the curtain as well aha what is that about that doesn't work for some reason there must be some way to go under these hatches that I'm sort of missing because it was another situation like that we saw on the one staircase so once I figure out how to solve that we could get a couple more gems and then this way there's a I could do not cross sign might be some slippery floors around here and then there's another oh hey that got us a key for some reason all right I'll take it Oh weird so I can't bring a key on to an elevator interesting interesting so can I take any of this rug not looking like it so we are going to run back to that main door now that I've explored everything I try to explore these types of games very thoroughly so we miss out on as little as possible because there's a lot to find it seems okay well that worked out well oh now it's a professor he's all put in a painting just like everybody else we got to help them oh how could they do this to your professor how we gonna get him out maybe Poulter pup has an idea got to go into this room huh hmm maybe we could check the trash can nope supposed to go in that room actually lots of money for it though so I was right though the professor was here I mean where there's trouble with ghosts there's a likely than professor see what if I tried these other rooms first oh man this is like the dressing room for all the ghosts when they were pretending to be nice people oh hey look at this boom oh look at that we get a gem so that is our first of the oval-shaped gems so I like that idea there's like several of each shape no wait the fine can I get this big bag of money whoa look at that all the money just flew up into the sky awesome so I want to keep it looking through this room but then maybe I'll go back to that other one all I see I see there's something that the flash over the spike and that is going to open a huge vault with a key inside isn't that great I'll take it so another key for us and I think at this point we'll probably will go back and we will grab whatever is inside that one room that the pup wants us to go into don't wanna get too sidetracked uh-oh Oh or wanted uh uh uh it's a perfect match they don't have to put up the posters anymore if they catch me Oh No uh ready boom did I get both of them I got both of them there we go ready for this roof boom come on I'll get a cue press from the button you gotta keep pressing it gotta get used to that that's so much different than what we just mansion - ok - full one again and I got him pretty cool anyone from so happy - so scared again ok so a little bit more money in the trash cans or do they use dollar bills is like napkins or something around here let's go into this room this looks like it might be like a janitor's closet or maybe even like a secret bog whoa can I take these things off of there ah oh hey so what's inside of here oh there it is the bulb heart again some upgrades not bad [Music] Wow whoo socially we just ran into a little bit of money so we hold the X button to use the dark light and that'll make pictures come to life along with a number of other things it'll also make things that you can't see up here and then oh no I see another spider up that way which can't be taken out by I guess a normal flash of the light no I just wasn't at the right angle so as you can see the Olsen has be golden things running around we can do stuff with it so there might be more to do around here what I wanted to do is try to yeah take the curtains whoa lots of random stuff that's a piggy bank there we go that somebody savings either stole I'm sorry sort of feel bad anything else here yeah I gotta do that a lot more often tell me that much okay so can I go over here I can this might be a gem of some sort also let's keep checking with the dark light I do see about that way that was another spider I can't quite fit into here though I guess we don't have the ability to crawl just yet weird I'll keep that in mind but definitely let's grab the rags off of this stuff Oh some more mice couldn't quite get them that's fine so those boxes didn't have much all but there's a there's a treasure chest back there I can't seem to crab this one weird okay I can just walk past it and inside more money not really too much that time remembering free stuff is free stuff but a little weird I don't know why I can't grab oh oh these are the pups footsteps yeah he went through here okay well we did what we could hi he wants to go back this way alrighty so with this we should be able to bring him back professor are you alright Marius oh not the most graceful fall oh we should have been ready to catch him I'm sorry hmm you okay so happy to see us ah if it isn't Luigi you are precisely the last person I'd expect to find here hold that thought now isn't the time now isn't the time to catch up what matters is you'll do nicely come on Luigi get him get me out of here now this hotel was filled to the brim with ghosts let's make a run for it what was that all of your friends have been captured and you can't just abandon them here you say of course not you're the same as ever I see a bit of a handful okay I'm not thrilled about it but I professor Alvin GAD have an idea as always first things first we G we have to get to my car will you take me there hey the new Poltergust G zero zero you're wearing it took that out of my car right we've got to get back to the underground garage let's go okay I love his little run he just he just look straight up throws his head back this goes for it so yeah we're using the Poltergust G zero zero or gue so there's no I like major number attached to it hey the weed you take a look over there the other vitter will give us to the garage in an instant let's hurry up before the ghosts find us okay I'll do what I can are you coming with me oh my gosh I love them with the trash cans and the lights let's use this little move right there hey Louise you look at that it's money and lots of it even with all the dangers here I'm sure we agree that money is still important the ghosts don't seem interested in grabbing it what's the saying you can't take it with you well I definitely want it anyway keep your eyes peeled and grab as much as you can you know while you're capturing ghosts and saving your friends multitasking yep I have been doing plenty of multitasking we're already up a couple thousand dollars and let's open the door so as you can see we can go into here and we just need to go to be one of all the someone removed all the elevator buttons what's going on here a mystery for later I suppose go ahead and give that B one button to push all righty I mean that's where we need to go so have you been keep them busy if it didn't seem like any of your friends were trapped on 2f with me they must have been taken to one of the floors higher up in the hotel which means yeah we're going to need those elevator buttons or to take the stairs he's getting really close up I don't know what that was about so I guess we got to go over to the left now if we see any more pictures don't laugh at me that's rude is there maybe something more not quite okay let's keep moving then aha here we go that is going to be one of the gems a purple one nice look at that professor we're pretty good at this right it's almost like we've we've had two other adventures okay I can't get these coins for some reason whatever here's the parking garage Wow now huh I don't know who's more scared us or him oh he's a lot more fearful than I expected hey watch what you're doing with that stuff don't hurt the professor he is all over the place right now let's make it a big mess can you stop it oh gosh well he has a lot of health too there we go come on get him get him there we go that should be good and then slide them this will definitely the elevator buttons I never would have guessed a ghost had taken them I mean who else would have but there are only two maybe there are other ghosts out there with the rest of the buttons no matter let's go to my car I've got something very interesting that I want to show you all right well feel free to pocket those for now so I wonder what he has to show us has to be something cool operation in here looks like home hey welcome to my lab this is another of my brilliant inventions a portable laboratory it's sturdy safe and air conditioned I always knew I'd need this one day good thing I brought it on with me right you want to know what I'm doing in this hotel it's a bit of a long story but in short I was tricked well Luigi knows all about that I got an invitation from someone claiming to own this hotel they said they had a precious collection of ghosts gathered from all over the world no self-respecting ghost researcher would pass up on such an appealing offer obviously I accepted their invitation but when I arrived the invitation was only a ruse they captured me in took my precious ghost collection that includes all the ghosts you'd work so hard to catch for me before even kingboo losing him really got under my skin he's my favorite yeah I know he captured all of our friends what they've released King Boo ah that hotel owner what has she done Luigi you're our only hope against all odds without any hesitation at an end at any cost get my ghost collection back and speaking of ghost collections why don't you give me all the ghosts you've captured so far all right well hasn't been too many but it's been a couple let's pop them in there and this time make sure they stay there we don't need a Luigi's Mansion for happening right right away maybe in a couple years so hold onto them for a little bit all right keep on catching those ghosts and be sure to come back to the lab I'll set up the gallery so you can view the ghost that you've captured okay this is and we just mentioned - it was like the Nintendo duels scare or something like that I forget the names it was the DS this happens a Virtual Boy it's a state-of-the-art virtual reality device fitted with a fancy red screen really cutting-edge stuff and rent is all the rage you know just like Mario right always in this shadow just wait until I finish the marketing materials on this you know fly off the shelves you could use the VP to communicate with me at any time hey maybe we can test out the communication system together or later I don't know where I'm reading these words from press plus to look into the VV it'll display your current objective for you - it's quite useful oh and I have one more thing to give you [Music] Wow the very first thing you need to do is install this elevator tracker inside of the elevator for me okay Eppie elevator tracker as for what it is I'll tell you later go and get it installed head for the elevator I'm counting on you Luigi very very cool so we can talk to egad I could play multiplayer I could return to the title screen I can take a look at the map let's take a quick look at this so this is b1 I can't take a look at anything else even though I've been there before gotcha and I can like select something and then zoom in so yeah that's interesting let's back out talk to egad the guidance settings what is the guide Oh interesting so those little details and everybody oh look at this aww this is so sweet we should look through this one we beat the game that's always fun umm and then anything else at the gallery this is what I was looking for ghosts or gems let's look at the ghosts so I wanted to read through the description of the ghosts that we've gotten to Kubb is there any description for them though oh I don't think there is this sort of a shame there are a lot of different types of ghosts though ok these are rare ghosts Bosko so that was a boss this was the steward looks pretty concerned to be in there alright well
