resort my name's is Helen gravely and I am the owner of this hotel I am absolutely delighted that you decided to accept my invitation all right we did I don't know the backstory on that but I guess we did is she floating she might be she has big hair you all must be very tired come allow me to show you to your rooms oh no need to worry about your luggage our exceptional staff will take care of it for you okay so creepy everyone's creepy and that a mask is he wearing a mask makeup fog you're her VIPs after all we prepared a first-rate experience for you all the trappings of luxury hoods is this a trap like a literal trap shall we get going I guess so bless me was that poison let's go classic Mario all right here we go all right well what'd she say Oh suddenly she said oh all right oh yeah what's in here oh man what's with all the jump scares in this game okay well there's a bunch of presents for me can I get nothing scary in there can I open open what am i doing okay it just keeps rest because hey it's daytime that's how I am when I travel like if I get in in the daytime I like to take a nap cuz travel is stressful to me all right all all right I got a flashlight what is that a flask thing and an extra change of clothes in there did you see that looks like maybe a book maybe kind of sleeping my flashlight next to me always sleep in bed with your shoes on when you're at a hotel that's the rule it's my notebook I'm a journal oh I'm not gonna journal is a novel I'm out like a light that was hilarious all right well now I bet the night times coming up and I'm a little worried honestly I'm not gonna lie to you guys oh there's peaches scream what's gonna happen no indeed Oh oh great here we go again and I look I already look frightened I know but I don't have a vacuum yet poulter pop where'd you go oh look look at the balloons they turn it like scary balloons where are my presents what's in here now oh my gosh it's even worse than before what did I ever go out here there that bird just left you didn't want any part of it my gift basket is rotting oh my goodness and that's now a claw the Blues just went up okay let's check the bathroom see how terrible this bathroom is now there's a mouse in it of course there is I don't have a vacuum or anything yet oh my gosh oh my gosh okay why do that I don't know okay so that's the what are those gold bars just like you see those gold bars maybe this is something for later like when I'm actually trying to you know and I'm actually trying to vacuum things up back in vacuuming up the curtain and whatnot here we go can we leave okay there's the door all right I'm a little worried oh wow oh no yeah I know this is bad news now it's all dingy it was awesome before now it's all dingy here's all of her luggage that looks broken peaches luggage sorry about that all right I'm just gonna look over here really quick I'm gonna pull this open just I saw it in a cutscene oh no I thought I was gonna lose my hat surprise Luigi it's a making boo I don't know if that's his voice but yeah he was kind of my enemy before that old coot had me locked up tight in his lab but I guess he escaped but guess what I got out the hotel owner here was just dying to meet me so she busted me out pretty lucky huh anyway I didn't think you'd actually show up here I was ready though just in case in fact my vengeance is nearly my vengeance is nearly complete what do you mean by vengeance glad you asked uh-huh Oh his face I'm trapping you and everyone in your little vacation party and frames ah there there Luigi it'll all be over soon it's time for a family reunion booyah oh wow oh no my friends oh no no boo ha ha ha take that King boo oh and there's one more frame of course I saved it especially for you stay right there and put on your best terrified face Luigi this is game over well this is a short game guys I'm sorry I thought it's gonna be a longer game I don't want that I don't want that oh no the way three guys now it's dark now we're talking nighttime now this is this is the vibe for the we geez mansion just fine oh yeah this is nowhere near as luxurious as I thought it was gonna be oh and look that's a lot of money right there the stack of bills all right let's take a look and see anything to do over here no okay all right let's go this way okay there we go that's how we open this hey I need this stuff let's see how do i how do I go through here okay I've already okay No okay alright guys there's a door down here I see now if you look at the floor you got to pay attention to this because look see how it's painted right there oh there's a door down here I didn't realize this there it is I was lost for a little bit there's that doughnut so I can go back now cuz I know there's stuff over here to do oh my oh my oh there's some gold bars up there I'm gonna a lot of cash I'm also getting uh a lot of cash trying to knock that gold bar down you got it more cash more gold awesome okay I don't know if there's still like completion rates based on how much cash and stuff you get probably here move move this out of the way so what do I do here does that work huh okay we'll figure it out I don't mind vacuuming up everything here it's a heart I need that cuz those rats attack me oh oh I just opened up a valve of coins all right let's get everything going here more cash just a pile of cash over here you gotta love that towels dropping out okay what else what else we got okay this is looking pretty good I don't know if there's any benefit to sucking up the towels or whatnot but and I don't know how to stop this it doesn't make sense to me how to stop that yet and looks like it is unplug it I can't unplug it it seemed so ok we'll have to figure this out probably later clearly I'm looking for some sort of gems let's head this way then this is a gym some coins up here though this looks a little suspicious it's a you know a poster of a gym I could do alright still getting the hang of this game and trying to figure out what all I can touch what all I can't touch this is the elevator lobby took all the leaves off the plant oh this plant is made of money though it seems like there's a plant this can't get to I don't know how many gyms I can actually get to now like I don't know if it's just giving me hints of what's to come or if I'm supposed to know how to we need to get him out of there I mean he might be able to help us that's gonna be my idea but first you know I like to be meticulous oh he go this is fun vacuuming up money out of the sky you know if I could do that IRL I probably would if I get have to keep the money at least if it were just like a chore didn't know what do we do we got to free him what do you think do you think this works no how there's gonna be money that I need to get it's a plant just just suck up all the leaves on the plant that's very productive alright now I guess we'll go through there but hold on before we do that is okay yeah so looking at this map if you look at that okay that's really cool if you look at that map we know that if you go into the room to the far left there's another room off to the side is it a bathroom I don't know but that's kind of a cool little map that they're giving us right now Poulter pup well I need a different key I just use the key that's okay over here we want a free egad right so this is just one room oh my gosh a mask there we go that's mine and then I can and like I said this is a safe oh hey one of these okay different shapes of gems that I'm getting like one of these so that's interesting is that a gold bag oh my gosh oh my gosh making it rain up in here alright oh this look at that look in the mirror now they show you things in the mirror that you may not know but look if you look there's a chest there's also a thing that has what am I saying okay you know I'm saying so there's what I'm walking right through it I'm super confused okay so look there's a light but there's also a chest over here I guess I'm so confused how do you how do you make this stuff show up huh there's got to be some sort of mechanic that like I can see it in the mirror but I can't seem to actually make anything happen with it give me these other clothes is that money and then anything else all right here we go okay so uh well I got the key and I don't know how to get there's obviously this here look if you see there's this here and then there's a chess in the corner I don't quite know how to get those yet so let's just leave this area cuz we got the key oh my gosh what no zero you're wearing you took that out of my car right we've got to get back to the underground garage let's go all right let's go indeed and see what's all about what's that car is all about there's a bill just hanging it I I haven't quite got used to the controls like sometimes I flip and it's like it's the way I'm not thinking of look at that look at that you guys look at that it's a new move I've learned also I don't I don't quite know can I like find secret oh no I mean I'm at this like can I find like secret walls or something with this or no okay let's just let's go back then I kind of even with all the dangers here I'm sure we agree that money is still important the ghosts don't seem interested and grabbing it oh what's the saying you can't take it with you well I definitely want it anyway keep your eyes peeled and grab as much as you can you know while you're capturing ghosts and saving your friends multitasking that's what I've been doing that you got and take it with you but I want it anyway that's a good that's a good way to look at it now let's hit this button we're going to the garage level I'm finally using the elevator come on again you have b1 all of the someone has removed all the other elevator buttons what's going on here and mystery for later I suppose go ahead and give that b1 button to push all right confirm let's go let's see what we got hmm it didn't seem like any of your friends were trapped on 2f with me they must have been taken to one of the floors higher up in the hotel which means yeah we're gonna need those elevator buttons okay that sounds welcome to my lab this is another of my brilliant inventions a portable laboratory it's sturdy safe and air conditioned I always knew I need this one day good thing I brought him along with me right indeed good thing good thing hmm you want to know what I'm doing in this hotel it's a bit of a long story but in short I was tricked I got an invitation from someone claiming to own this hotel they said they had a precious collection ghosts gathered from all over the world no self-respecting ghost researcher would pass up on such an appealing offer obviously I accepted their invitation but when I arrived the invitation was only a ruse they captured me and took my precious ghost collection that includes all those ghosts you worked so hard to catch for me before even kingboo losing him really got under my skin he's my favorite yeah he's the one who's what they've released King Boo hug the hotel owner what has she done Luigi your only hope against all odds without any hesitation that in any cost get my ghost collection back and speaking of ghost collections why don't you just give me all the ghosts you've captured so far all right sure yeah let's load them up classic Luigi's Mansion what do we got all right keep on catching those ghosts oh and be sure to come back to the lab I'll set up the gallery so you can view the ghosts you've captured all right great like I ever want to see their ugly faces again hmm what's would that look Luigi am I forgetting something important oh oh that's right I forgot about saving your friends and family completely and totally forgot regardless the fine ghosts and your friends you'll need to explore this hotel to help you out I'll give you one of my greatest inventions yet what is it gonna be uh huh whoa Abu virtual booby B for short nice very cool thank you it's a state-of-the-art virtual reality device fitted with a fancy red screen really cutting-edge stuff oh and red is all the rage you know just wait until I finish the marketing materials on this it'll fly off the shelves you can use the VB to communicate with me at any time hey maybe we could test out the communication system later Press that to look into the VB it'll display your current objectives for you - it's quite useful oh and I have one more thing to give you what is it the very first thing you need to do is install this elevator tracker inside the elevator for me okay all right got the elevator tracker as for what it is I'll tell you later go on and get it installed and for the elevator I'm counting on you Luigi all right fantastic we talked - egad against a gallery we got settings we got everything we got a multiplayer title screen map let's look at the map nice I mean cool we're all have we been we don't have any maps for anywhere other than the basement interestingly enough huh okay well let's uh let's see what I'm what I'm gonna do I don't get out here there we go I did it and then there's a explore the hotel so uh things have gone
