Low Country Boil August 2019

it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood and we're gonna be doing the shrimp ball today Abby's dad asked me if I would do one so we planned it out in today's the day it's been since Christmases we've actually done a shrimp boil just lit the fire we're gonna get that hot it up and then we've got got five pounds of brisket rim and got a bag of legs there all the stuff that goes into it this is the boil that I like to use the small fire there's a little bit of liquid we use this sack of seasoning here as well some hot sauce and I've got all of the veggies everything that goes into it with it including the connect of sausage it's inside cut up and I'll bring that out here in a bit [Applause] [Applause] and that day I feel balls to take it back somehow be used in our swamp fire it's a good stuff two of these is in an 8-ounce package [Music] we're gonna liquid to little spicy hit me right in the face nice and lemony some day leaves [Music] little packet seasoning packet a little bit of slack phenomena here the whole bottle [Music] that's a lot we didn't want it as hot as last time really secret I'm not trying to question you I'm sorry I apologize I used to the small bags of the seasoning last time I use like Jalan I rebound the ice see that baby all the connector there potatoes final ingredient just add a little beard daaaaamn a beard horns going in make sure you get an Annette in the video yeah yeah girl it's awesome [Music] yeah I've been a bad influence can't say that we have it I got that fire kick down solo it's just the roar go in with our Shreves and onions now last couple minutes st is hot run away mushroom trip time top of the shrimp in the crab [Music] all right we've got our this is five pounds now a fresh gulf shrimp we've got one pound inside that they're gonna do without spice see it's starting to boil here's Internet that's better that's a little quieter now yeah see it that's pretty that's the sexy thing there uh-huh all right we're gonna go ahead and let's cool it now [Music] get them crab legs in there too right about where we want to be so we're just going to leave it right right there so that way the shrimp don't overcook there now we'll just let them soak for 15 30 minutes whatever you whatever you want and we'll be ready to eat yeah yeah all right here they are they are cooked everything is ready to pull up out of the water see the shells coming off the shrimp that means we got a good cook not overdone you got some crab in there too we're ready to pour T's for these things up I set it up here and let it drain for just a sec mm-hmm it's still steaming well getting hot even all that ice in there it looks like the shrimp love bugs well it looks like this room cook good of course they did see we already it's good huh the steam coming off of it [Applause] [Music]
