[engine roaring] - Uh, they just dispatched attempted robbery or robbery in progress, and we were literally a block away when it went out. So we're pulling up in the area to see if we can't locate it. Just passed him. All right. Give the description one more time. Two males walking south on [bleep]. Just passed them. [engine roaring] - All right. They're running. I got one running into College Club, it looked like-- or Bass Street. Bass Street. (SHOUTING) Get over here! Put your hands up! All right. Running into College Club. Running into College Club Apartments. (SHOUTING) Get on the ground! Get on the ground now! Get down! All right. We've got one at gunpoint and one's running into College Club right now. Running back northbound through the complex, just north of Bass Street. Put your hands behind your back now. - Yes, sir. - Put your hands behind your back. - What'd I do? [siren] [handcuff clicks] - Yes. Inside the fence line. He just jumped the fence right here, Brian, if you're close. You can start from here if they don't see anybody inside. - What'd I did? [handcuff clicks] [sirens] [engine roaring] - Last seen northbound towards the front entrance. He was parallel to the fence, running north. Get up. - What'd I did? - What is he wearing? - He's wearing a black hoodie and a, like, blue or gray shorts. Short fade. He jumped right here, running north. - We're going to be starting in front of building 22. Dog is on the ground, dispatch. - Copy. Dog on the ground. 20-22. [beep] - I mean, what I did? - You're being detained for an investigation right now. We had something that just went out, OK? Involving your description and your other partner. As soon as I turn around, your partner takes off running, jumps the fence and is running away. That seems pretty suspicious, does it not? - Yeah, because he got a warrant. [police radio chatter] - Did she have a black Beats headphone case possibly in her seat when they came through? We have one laying on the ground fresh, and we just want to make sure that we're either on the right track or we've got to make a turn. - Earring in there as well. There's a-- - All right. [lip smack dog call] [police radio chatter] - This is the guy that approached the victim on the passenger side of the window. The guy he was with actually had the handgun and entered inside the vehicle when they committed the robbery. Apparently, there are two victims inside the car. He had a female driver, a male passenger. And this is going to be the guy, the one on the male passenger side but did not actually enter the car. His accomplice, which was the guy in the blue hoodie, went in through the driver's side, actually entered the car with a handgun and demanded property but apparently did not get any. - We had a good track up into the wood line. And we bumped around and tried to cast her here to try to relocate the track. But we never did. So we have one suspect in custody. Hopefully, he will be able to provide us information on the second one. And we can go from there and cut warrants and pick him up tomorrow or the next day. Good boy. Good.
