- We had an officer down here on traffic stop that had one just foot bail from the vehicle, so we're going to get out here on scene and assist. [siren] - 847, we're in. - Be there to drive right. 826 southbound. - [inaudible] - 826 southbound. 826, your location. - [inaudible]. We're down the road. [siren] [dog bark] - Sounds like he ran 1st Street east and went south. OK, they got him in custody right here. OK, 6-0, I'll get you an address here in a minute. Hold on. Stop! [dog bark] So it sounds like this traffic stop that happened right here in [muted],, the passenger bailed and ran east and then immediately cut south. Another unit was able to see him running in on foot and got in behind him and took him into custody right here. - Sorry for running. I'm sorry. I just ran because I thought I had a child support going. Man, that's it, man. That's it, and I'm not from here. That's all, man. He said, stop, and I stopped. I wasn't trying to catch a new charge or nothing. I mean-- - How much do you owe child support? - I owe like $60,000. - $60? - $60,000. I got four kids. - Have you tried to attempt to pay it at all? - Yeah, I'm paying arrearage. It's just-- - But you're paying? - Yeah. - Well, just a shot in the dark. They may or they might not have a warrant if you're trying to pay. - Do you know for a fact you have a warrant? - I'm-- I'm not for sure. - So you're just assuming that you have one? - Yeah. - But you don't know for a fact that you have one. - Yeah, because I-- I know I missed the court date, but I'm not for sure if they issued a warrant or not, but I'm pretty sure they did. [music playing] Huh? - Thank you, sir. - Nah. - What have you been arrested for? - I was on a registry years ago. I got off of that here-- up here in Marion County off of that in 2018, August. - OK, well, this is out of Madison. - They transferred-- - So that's Anderson. - Yes, they transferred it to here, and I-- I was done with that. I'm complete with that. I did it right here-- right here. - OK, well, you're going to have to actually go there-- - 31, I'll take care of the special, when it's needed. - --and figure out what's going on. But at this point in time, you have an active warrant for failure to register, nothing to do with child support. It's just failure to register. He's going to be arrested for the warrant and any other charges if the officer deems to charge him with fleeing or anything like that. So that's where we're at now.
