hello everyone welcome back to this channel my name is Kaylee so for today we're GNA be taking a look at that shop behind me that is the Akiba Kazu so let's go take a look on the first floor and let's [Music] go so we are on the first floor of this store there are so many different options and so many different animes I do want to point out that this store does offer a taxfree option as well too so but this is only for foreigners this is not for residents of Japan or anything that is less than 5,500 Yen roughly less than $50 if I had to recall at the top of my head so if you come to this store and if you buy any figurine sets that are over 5,500 Yen then it's all taxfree but the only thing is that you need to bring your passport as well make sure you bring an international passport because when you go to the cashier then they will give you 10% off it will be a taxfree as well so now that we know that and now that we understand let's go take a look at some of these options that we have here so so first one first okay so our first one here we have one piece one of my favorite animes of course so this one is about 5,580 n so that should be around like $50 or less than that as well good options here and it's unopen so this is actually a pretty good price as well so with these figurines as well and their prices let's compare them to these bigger ones these like iconic monstrosities here Mi HW is around 27,300 Yen that is roughly around $184 in US money Shanks is about $24,300 so that's about $164 in US money and last one we have the most expensive one and probably one of the biggest ones we have Ace here Ace is about 77,500 Yen and that is actually a around $520 yes that is probably one of the most expensive ones I've seen so far in the store but we are not done looking so let's take a look a little bit more all right everyone so if we look here this is a secondhand area so these were already used but we're going to be taking a look at some of these characters as well and their prices this is K riota he is from Koko no basket so he is roughly 1,280 in like 7 to 8 if I had to think about it so he's a pretty good price especially for a secondhand so let's take a look here as well this is the smaller figurines too so smaller oh my God this is the smallest one this is Mos from one piece and I was about to look at some of these figurines but he's probably the most expensive one that I just saw 3,380 Yen mind you that is probably around $20 I don't believe that I don't understand how this one is like the most expensive but then again it is like so detailed too so it could be that reason as well I'm so sorry I hope you didn't break okay he's good he's good we're good okay but Zoro so we have young Zoro here uh a bit pricey I would say not the same price but also a little bit similar Zoro is around 1,180 n over here we also have this Vanguard uh car as well this one is about 980n this one is roughly $7 if I had to remember correctly so they do more than just Anime as well they also do these cars I'm trying to think what else they also oh there's another car as well too same price if you are also a car lover then you actually have an option too to buy one of these as well hi so looking here we have so many different kinds of buttons buttons are actually very popular in Japan as well um I see them a lot on bags and even children's backpacks as well too but most of these buttons are also secondhand buttons uh or keychains there's also keychains as well too if you can look in the back so some of these prices here a little bit cheaper than the ones at the front we have this one which is 280 n another one which is 660 N well it's not really a button or a keychain but this one uh so this is a kind of like a stand how would I say it's like a um how do I say it it's kind of like a it's not a figurine but it's like a picture you put on a platform and it stands up this one is 1,00 Yen right here I don't know this character this is shria conel I haven't watched this this is school idol project this is the anime's name at the mo right here so I'm also a big dragon ball fan as well myself not just one piece the Dragon Ball there's so many different characters as well and also many different characters have different prices too so we also have uh these un unopened so as I mentioned before the unopen means not open not used not touched but this box here is a little bit more expensive than the unopened one so this box was open but it's 2,280 end here so since there's so many I was actually thinking if any of you are [Music] behind my God I'm so happy so I mentioned before when we saw K Rota he's from kokon no [Music] basket and we have like a little Koko's basketball kokono basket section here I don't know why this is here who are you oh he's from um he's from hell's Paradise but I don't know why you're here I'm going to put you right here I just I love this anime so much this is probably like also one of my other favorite animes as well probably like my most favorite one of my first is my favorite character here oh no I don't think he's here I will I will reveal my favorite character once I find him I don't think I'll be able to find him here but when I do I'll be like Yep this is him but everyone else oh I love Koko I love Akashi mosaka he's really popular for some reason I wasn't I don't think anyone really knows this this is like an older anime but I love sports animes and this is definitely one of my favorite ones all right so for all of you Pokemon lovers here just like me even though I was so excited about the cocono basket the Pokemon here is also really cute as well like really cute options like we got like this ah don't fall okay so we got 1,650 y this one is about yeah same price 1,650 y not too bad I still don't trust it how about this Mew how much is she oh same price same price which is not too bad as well too most of these like little Pokémons are actually like roughly around the same price reasonable prices I would say we also have some of these as well too more than just that we also have minis we also have buttons as well too we also have Gary oh this one is this one has a tag this one is like you're not taking this one out 2750 n for looks like a keychain I believe it's a keychain I don't know why it's so popular maybe it's because it's like first generation like first generation rival but I'm really surprised that it comes with like this tag I haven't seen that with like any of the other ones so that's actually really surprising we also have like um it looks like these are stickers so these stickers are 280n so reasonable as well so for all your Pokémon fans if you want to take a look at this wait AE minute is this tog go cup with Psyduck on it and it's 2,7 why is this thing so expensive why is it the same price as this as this Gary starter and this one does not have a tag where's the tag for this one that actually makes no sense why is it so expensive okay everyone so that is it for the first floor a lot of cool options a lot of great prices as well too now it's time for us to head to to the fourth floor okay everyone so that was the first floor we are now on the fourth floor at the moment in this building so this is a little bit similar to the first one but also a little bit different so I'm excited to show you I heard about this place so let's go check it out now [Music] okay [Music] w all right so this is a very interesting fourth floor so unlike the first floor the fourth floor is actually a display and most of these are actually people's figurines so people who actually bought these figurines and collected them so in Japan what people do is they normally will rent out these boxes so each box is a person they rented this out they normally rent it out between 4,000 5,000 yen a month so they would be roughly paying less than $50 to rent out these spaces or boxes and if you take a look uh some of these people who rent out these boxes are actually trying to sell their figurines as well so if we take a look here this is Yu-Gi-Oh I grew up on Yu-Gi-Oh as well so we have the Dark Magician Girl I I believe she's like The Apprentice to the Dark Magician a little bit more expensive 8,800 Yen and what people do is that they will take a let me see where is it ah here it is so if let's say I wanted to buy one of these figurines I would actually have to write down the number of the box so for this number it would be h64 I would write out the goods number as well so you Yuki's number is 426 so I would have to write out his number right here the price his price is 6,980 and how many so just one so I would actually write that out here then I would take it to the front with me bring it to the cashier and then after the owner would actually have to meet me here in order to open up this box and then give it to me after I paid for this so it's a very interesting system in Japan where you can actually buy people secondhand figurines but other than that from what I also heard too even though you may want to pay for these figurines or buy some of these most of the time many people who collect these just want to put them on display because it is actually very aesthetically pleasing it's very nice to look at they want to show off their collection as well if we take a look here as well so there's two boxes but they're all one piece mostly all one piece characters as well we got all the females here and then on the other side we also have more one piece characters but we have Chopper we also who also has different prices as well uh we have Luffy Zoro Sanji Shanks and everyone as well and so forth if we look down here you see a collection of Demon Slayer and also other animes that I'm a little bit unfamiliar with with so it could just be more than just that as well but let's take a look more because a lot of these Collections and a lot of these people who made these it's so impressive I think so I've been like really blown away so far so let's take a look a little bit [Music] more [Music] take a look at this so as I mentioned before renting these boxes is pretty expensive like 4,000 5,000 yen a month only one figurine for this one for like 3,800 Yen it seemed like I think someone really wanted to show off their figurine I believe but that's so funny let's take a look at some of the other ones yes I have that same exact figurine Marco the Phoenix back at home I only had to pay this one is $5,999 I only had to pay 2,000 Yen so jok's on you no I'm just kidding Digimon look at that Digimon what the what oh eight set it's because it's an eight set so I guess that means I guess eight of them together is like 99,999 Yen but for eight I think that's way too expensive are you serious that angel Digimon in the bag 99,999 are you serious I think clearly someone's like yeah please don't buy this I just want to show it off honestly let's take a look at some of the other ones though but oh my God that was like really expensive is Digimon even popular I think it still is actually we also have a lot of like maybe this person likes a lot of jiujitsu kaisen but then you also see chainsaw man and you also see Attack on Titan as well there's also some Dragon Ball as well in the back did I move that no I didn't move it so we are also big dragon ball
