hey everybody what's happening i'm ryan we're playing paper mario the origami king we just beat up a stapler so i'm thinking ollie is all that's left oh nice a bench all right if i know evil layers and i think i do this should be the top floor that's where the throne room usually is your brother must be on the other side of that door so let's go get him i i'm scared i can't believe my own brother would set that vicious stapler on me can we even stop him now or is he already too powerful there there thank you mario you're always there for me when i'm at my absolute flimsiest [Music] this has just been such a long and difficult journey but i've had so much help along the way i'm so grateful for you and luigi kamik the bowsers and bobby of course oh and the professor captain teod old grand sappy the shangri-spa toads the sea captain the oarsmen and the origami craftsman that's what his name was you've all been so amazing and helpful and now i just feel bad that i'm putting you all in danger yet again [Music] hey origami girl look at me i'm bowser i breathe fire and punch through solid rocks sometimes you think i'm scared of that little twerp plus i mean i'm raising junior you think that's easy try parenting a high-energy kid with access to a flying car in his own army that's a good point your brother doesn't scare me [Music] wow that really puts it in perspective [Music] all right we're all healed up you know what i'm feeling better how about you mario are you ready to do this all right i feel like i'll be ready to do my part when the time comes i just have to do my best and count on you all of you my friends all right let's pull this open ah yes the origami castle [Music] i got all the collectible treasures i don't have to come back for that all right this appears to be it so let's go kick some booty well you're finally here took you long enough as a matter of fact it took you so long that there's nothing you can do to stop me now brother are you still planning more terrible things yeah who do you think you are folding up me and my minions like that like you could keep all this from busting loose anyway where's princess peach is she safe is she comfortable does she have something to read asking for a friend bowser really cares about her oh the princess is right in front of you behold oh no i told you didn't i that i would transform all of peach's castle into an origami castle including the princess herself she is at one with the castle now beautiful precious and silent i'm sure she's happier this way you monster folding princess peach into the castle is too much you've gone too far you couldn't possibly do anything worse except wait all those paper cranes you wouldn't that's a lot of paper cranes i would and i did witness the thousand cranes technique he who has the patience to fold 1 000 origami cranes shall have any wish granted that is real ultimate power and i shall use it to turn every last one of those wretched toes into mere blank paper what that's crazy talk the toads can't come back from that you know i wouldn't even do that and i've done some mean stuff believe me ask hammock i still don't understand what you've got against the toads do you realize that even you were originally folded by a toad of course i do he's the whole reason i'm doing this that fool disrespected the very paper i am made of he scribbled all over it now i bear the hideous scar of his negligence and disregard for origami and he shall pay that's why you're doing this [Music] but even if you're mad at him why take it out on all the other toads if you've seen one toad you've seen them all they're all the same to me well she's not wrong that's why i have to turn them all into blank pieces of scrap paper so i never have to see a single one of their stupid faces again that is my vision for a glorious origami kingdom as for you mario you've proven to be quite annoying but there's nothing you can do now to stop me already 999 of my cranes are complete after i defeat you i'll honor your paper by folding you into the very last crane but mario's not squared [Music] your adventure ends here mario stop that little jerk i will fulfill my dream if you won't fold willingly i shall bend you to my will by force [Music] what [Music] but wait a minute well that's just not fair [Music] wait what that's the shape of the earth valumental indeed i've mastered the techniques of every bibliofold now witness how a king wields these powers [Music] my brother sounds excited that can't be good for us be careful mario [Music] oh no what is that look mario it's one of those super special magic circles i might be able to turn into any of the value mentals now [Music] but which one [Music] wow that's all i had to do it doesn't seem right get the on switch yeah which one okay so fire melts the ice water is strong against fire [Music] which one which fundamentals power will you use earth would be strong so would ice be strong against earth i don't know [Music] we'll try i haven't gotten to use the ice power yet in a battle i don't think [Music] frozen solid one damage [Laughter] curses i i can't move [Music] frozen can't move okay okay um well then [Music] uh what did my brother's hp just replenish itself do you see now you stand in a realm of pure origami i am in control the longer you hesitate the more i'll recover better think fast gotta be kidding me how is that fair stay calm mario we can do this just breathe and arrange those rings as fast as you can go go well no pressure [Music] what [Music] i don't see how to do it i need help [Music] might as well use all the help i can get [Music] a pair of shiny boots and a useless pair of hearts okay so let's try this way i need to go fast but i can't see the path because i got to get that there i can't do that gotta put that there okay i've got one more move [Music] okay so he's frozen [Music] should i burn him [Applause] i don't know [Applause] i'm guessing at this point [Music] i just freed [Applause] haha that attack won't affect me in this form oh that ain't good [Music] well that's that's been desirable okay so was i supposed to use the thousand fold arms [Music] i am thinking yeah yeah pretty sure [Music] okay that will get me to that so i can freeze him again maybe this time i'll have the brain power to use thousand fold arms on him all right he should freeze up again doing a whopping one damage frozen can't move excellent all right and now i'm gonna try to get the thousand fold arms i think that's what i've gotta do [Music] think this might not do anything [Music] oh there we go there we go figured it out yeah buddy just took a minute not bad time to switch tactics okay so i gotta use water against that one [Music] so i made the comment before that that this looks like mole trace from pokemon shiny moultries he turned into the fire value mental molten feathers oh that's right holy mackerel [Music] [Applause] i can't even get close to him good golly okay but i have to fly um there is literally nothing i can do without getting hit uh is there an up okay we'll pop that there and i have no choice i have to get hit [Music] which fundamentals power water [Applause] [Music] all right cool him off no my flames [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] all right so now [Music] a lot of stuff really does not matter what does matter is getting right moves there's two okay i was just making sure i had three moves real quick all right pretty sure this is what i gotta do [Music] hold him out that can't be it [Music] he went down way too easy you surpassed the power of my superior folded paper brother are you okay you must be exhausted using even one value mental form can be [Music] shut it i don't need your pity i folded you so we could turn this flat world into an origami kingdom [Music] but you betrayed me and allied yourself with these paper peasants don't you see olivia we're both origami why are you fighting me [Music] ali we are origami but this isn't what we were made for we both started as simple sheets but we had souls folded into us we were made with love love of art love of creation love for life itself that's what origami is all about we should be friends with all paper beings if there's love in our hearts you're lecturing me about love was there love in the heart of that paper toad who scribbled all over me we're nothing like that flat flimsy fool we were folded for greatness i'll say that five times fast i should have known you wouldn't understand how could you i made you too perfect too pure that's a mistake i'll soon correct here olivia let me show you the true power of origami oh no what is this what is he transforming into he he just keeps unfolding what's happening what do we do what the heck oh what is this oh no all the toads oh not those things those things are the worst and the ring is gone white in the world what kind of monstrosity is this mega origami ollie look around you olivia i'm folding the very fabric of reality origami embodies the limitless power of transformation with this power i shall rid the world of all pathetic paper-thin beings you think we're gonna roll over just because you puffed up your chest and got all weird-looking i've had enough of you and your bad haircut it's go time bowser wait that was a very uh intimidating speech but he's too powerful here he'll crumple you for sure ali was right this place is made of pure origami power it strengthened him so it could strengthen you too let me fold you she's just doing it he didn't agree to it he looks so scared oh yeah that's so cool now he looks awesome i love it nice work origami girl okay i'm gonna show this paper pusher how a real final boss fight it's like a sumo match huh this guy's tougher than he looks i might need some backup whoa where did all these magic circles come from let us use let's use these if we slam the ground with the thousand fold arms we can give bowser an advantage when bowser nears a magic circle run behind him and use it to summon the thousand fold arms if bowser shifts to a different spot press b to cancel your attack and switch magic circles all right [Music] here we go huh the magic circle vanished i guess they don't last very long don't do you ever stop meddling this should keep you busy oh that ain't good uh oh jeez get up mario get up oh no oh no here we go here we go here we go here we go got it [Music] oh geez oh yeah oof i was not ready for that come on come on come on come on hurry up mario i'd love to it's working [Music] oh that no that's not what happened come on go sumo bowser oh nice there we go i will not be beaten by this bouncing blowhard to me my folded soldier okay i'm wearing a watch i need to take it off because it keeps shaking okay here we go what whoa a big angry face where did that thing come from we better act fast slam the ground as many times as you can before it falls and crushes us you got beat by a paper powerhouse eat gravity you jerk curse you [Music] oh that was such a cool fight [Music] [Applause] [Music] i can't believe it i know there was goodness in him but ollie chose to hate flat paper beings to the bitter end goodbye brother i hope we meet again someday what oh that ain't good man i thought that was it too oh but he's more horrifying than ever i will not allow this i will crush you all of you oh no my brother's way too big we can't stop him like this oh wait that origami craftsman gave me something special before we left his workshop it's time to use it [Music] gave you oh what is this another magic circle pathetic what do you hope to do slap my wrist with those feeble arms of yours roar oh man this just keeps going [Music] what oh no oh come on he jumbled up our magic circle could he fight fair for like two seconds [Music] my anger my rage it's turned into deadly poison rising up from below you'd better act fast if that gas reaches this platform it will be the end of you [Music] hurry mario we have to fix this jumbo sized magic circle as fast as we can oh no pressure oh my gosh restore okay uh [Music] oh no now take this [Music] haha you dodged [Music] why is it kidding me no escape such insolence okay so i definitely got them all mixed up [Music] [Applause] oh i see i see now take this you dodged okay i really slaughtered this oops that one's fine oh geez i messed it up so bad so bad oh don't tell me i have to do all of that all over again please just start me at that end battle oh please [Music] hallelujah oh gosh okay i got it figured out this time i had it all backwards for some reason oh come on all right my anger my rage is turned into deadly poison blah blah blah [Music] all right i got this [Music] we're almost there already [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] so close [Music] [Applause] uh it really is difficult to deal with the interruptions you think i'll allow this i'll make this magic circle as useless as scrap paper [Applause] [Music] oh broke his hands you [Applause] oh what is this gonna do oh my gosh you did it mario we can finally use the magic circle the origami craftsman gave me one final folding technique and it's our only chance of stopping ollie what is this [Music] it's a hammer [Music] she turned into a hammer that's so great oh man brother please come to your senses [Music] is that it i love that she turned into a hammer oh man is is it over oh he's all crumply i'm sorry brother i had no choice oh but your poor body is all crumpled now maybe i went too far no olivia that hammer attack was divine you put everything into it and it was enough to awaken me from this dark dream i was too proud too entitled my heart was blinched my path was creased i was a mess wait what's this on your belly oh it hurts to move but that is the cause of all this madness that the careless scroll that toad marked me with read it for me will you i must know what is written there what words or gibberish mark this foolish body please i could use one last laugh okay um let's see dearest ali may you grow into a fair and kind king [Music] it's not just a scribble it's a very sweet message from the origami craftsman he just wished you the best as a new king [Music] oh i've been a terrible king to think this is how i repaid his kindness i just became so blinded by rage i did so many unforgivable things i'm so sorry that princess peach and mario became caught up in all this olivia there's something you must do for me please accept these 999 cranes and then fold my body into the 1000s when the last fold is complete you will gain the ability to have any wish granted i don't suppose it'll make up for everything i've done but it's all i have left i'm begging you olivia do this for me [Music] brother [Music] mario i have something to confess i don't know how to fold a crane maybe ollie could have taught me after all he folded the whole castle and even me look at him now well now what it's luigi and the origami craftsman and bowser jr and kamik hey guys i hope i didn't miss too much i found the origami craftsman maybe he can talk ollie out of all this nonsense right because he's the one who originally folded him oh yes i remember this paper well such a lovely royal purple and olivia so good to see you making use of the giant hammer technique i folded into your design wait there are an awful lot of cranes here is one of you attempting the forbidden 1000 crane technique yes but i promise i won't use it for evil can you teach me how to fold the last crane i want to fulfill my brother's final wish and complete the thousandth crane myself very well i will teach you i suppose all of this trouble is my fault in a way after all i was the one who originally folded your brother this will be my last fold of life then olivia prepare to fold as you have never folded before you fold that there and that there like this and there and it's just a crane now well done with that the technique is complete you may make your wish olivia [Music] okay my wish my wish thousandth crane grant me my wish may all of the origami folded by my brother be undone holy cow look at all those things go [Applause] [Music] the castle's fading away wait what's gonna happen to everybody in the castle [Music] are they just gonna be stuck on top of a volcano [Music] or is it gonna like send them or carry the castle with them it looks like the sun [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] ah everything's restored and there's a thousand golden cranes flying away well formerly cranes it's finally over oh they all came with the castle that's [Music] good my goodness what are we all doing here princess peach you're back to your old self wow wait we're missing someone where's olivia oh she was folded by ollie she wished herself unfolded i'll bring a tear to your eye cool fireworks so are we having the origami festival now [Music] such a lovely scene i'm so happy that everything is back to normal [Music] toad town is bustling with an origami festival everyone is discovering the magic of origami and having fun even bowser he made a paper hat they're all juggling the origami bones [Music] paper hats everywhere and birdo can't forget birdo nice the dj ah mario peach come take a look my masterpiece is finally finished you see it's a miniaturized origami castle just like the one ollie made um poor olivia mario are you thinking about the origami girl who saved me [Music] she was so brave to do what she did we owe her everything i just know she's with us in spirit i wish i could thank her gather round everyone it's time for the big finale to all the origami thank you [Music] oh cool they got paper lanterns [Music] and fireworks oh that's actually really pretty [Music] oh that was a good one oh right what a great story i mean there were definitely things throughout the game that i did not care for unfortunately one of them being that battle system man like that battle ring was just so tough on me and [Music] usually i'm i'm fairly good at solving puzzles but some of those i just i could not figure them out to save my life so thank you so much for bearing with me through all of that um [Music] yeah it's it's been a true pleasure playing through this game and uh yeah these are some great great pictures on the end here um now i know i didn't get through 100 of the game uh i'm i'm definitely gonna go through and clear everything 100 because i'm pretty sure there's a slightly different ending if you get 100 of everything like find all the toads the coin blocks all that stuff so we'll go through that and then we'll see if the ending is any different [Applause] and yeah i'll definitely share that as we move forward here um not quite sure what i have up in the queue next man i really did enjoy this game the characters were just truly delightful i loved olivia [Applause] she was super cheesy and there were tons of great puns out of her and i loved every bit of it paper mario always has little sidekicks of some form that help out color splash had huey you know and the sidekicks always end up being just one of the best parts of the game and this was no exception and there were just a ton of fun moments like the shoe car was an absolute blast to drive around in i'm actually looking forward to going back to the desert and driving around some more because there was just so much in the desert that i just kind of blew over i really tried to get through this game uh relatively quick quickly without lollygagging too much so there's that the princess peach boat was so much fun um i loved the battle with the giant squid that was probably one of my favorite battles of this game [Applause] [Music] the spa was just awesome the toads are yelling at him and everything oh man what a good time this was the skull island [Music] the origami craftsman and it's got all of the the colored pencils i've that was the one that i forgot and a few episodes ago i was listing off all the uh the bosses and i forgotten about the colored pencils and of course everything is restored so i got to say thank you so much to nintendo to mario who is celebrating his 35th anniversary this year [Applause] and to all of you [Music] so thank you so much thank you for watching thank you for sticking with me through even some of the dull moments i i took way too long on some of the battles but we had a good time all right well that just about wraps it up uh i will decide in the near future how i'm going to handle
