it's all you can vegas hey everybody it's derek and catherine and we're here at del monaco steakhouse at the venetian las vegas del monaco is emerald lagasse's steakhouse here at the venetian and there is a lot of seafood as well as steak they also have a tableside caesar salad for two for 35 dollars and here are the steaks now this this is what you come here for they have a chateaubriand for 155 to serve table side for two they even have a bananas foster that is served tableside for two so i think we're gonna do the the ultimate tableside steakhouse dinner experience for two for two cocktails are split up into three categories here at delmonico if you're looking for something refreshing under light crisp and invigorating you have these options here you have a distinct category which was a gold daring and comforting and then finally you have cocktails who are spirited strong forward and complex i'm going to be getting the terms of endearment i love that movie oh that's beautiful thank you very much so that's quite the cocktail you've got here what is that this is the terms of endearment and it is mezcal aperitivo phillernum jalapeno simple syrup and lime i'm excited about it it's very dramatic in 80s interesting you definitely get that jalapeno here but it's very orangey yeah it looks orange or an orangie sorry citrusy i should say that's nice it doesn't taste strong i don't get any hit with alcohol they'll probably hit me later because that's what i want to drink that's how you know it's good yeah if i can't do the alcohol then it doesn't help me we would like to start with the caesar salad for two all right and then the chateaubriand for two sounds good to me and we'll finish with the bananas foster for two anchovies or not yes gonna add our dijon mustard fresh garlic break that down into a nice little face that's worcestershire sauce a little bit of lemon juice to get the acid going some parmesan snitching of kosher salt with the egg it is pasteurized i love the yolk out of the middle extra virgin olive oil just a little bit more cheese in there [Music] [Laughter] greens over the top of course [Music] oh [Music] here here wow this looks phenomenal and that was quite the presentation it was quite the presentation i've never quite had salad presented prepared like this it's beautiful it's a nice looking caesar right it's just so lightly creamy it's so fresh fresh lemon that's great you get that signature anchovy hit which i love [Music] that's that's that's the last bite of this salad that's fine that was phenomenal and next up is the chateaubriand also prepared tableside [Music] [Music] thank you [Music] [Music] [Music] very much [Music] family thank you thank you very much very much [Music] wow this looks great i mean these look like perfectly cooked perfect medium they are perfect the potatoes look great so what are on these potatoes yeah the potatoes are garlic fingerling potatoes and there's some parmesan garlic fingerling potatoes with parmesan so what kind of kind of steak does this will tell you 20 ounces of creekstone farms naturally raised angus heart tableside for two my mouth is watering just looking at all this the two sauces [Music] that is so tender and that is perfectly cooked perfect medium you can see that right there right hot off the grill the table side grill [Music] so tender so juicy and so hard on the outside all at the same time you have a really great crust on the outside and you have this great contrast of the crust like the pepper crust not a fluff but it's a pepper crust with a soft inside really flavorful yeah i literally had no idea what a chateaubriand was it was like something at another time yes this is but i'm gonna get this everywhere now if i can find it this is the first restaurant i've seen with it on the menu that is perfect right there that is perfect yes please thank you you're supposed to have potatoes with this steak and a steakhouse so soft it's not like creamy on the inside soft but nice garlicky just just the right amount of garlic and what's nice is that we have two sauces here the steak the choco brown tastes so good i know it doesn't need sausages [Music] there's a flavor in there i'm not sure what it is i want you to try that it almost feels like coconut or something i don't know really it's like a buttery coconut but i don't think that's what bernay's sauce is how's that one it's a it's a little looser than i thought it would be a thicker sauce is it like a red piece it's a red it's a red wine reduction reduction it's good that's more like a steak sauce make asparagus too we're healthy cooked in that same pan with the finishing the steak oh yeah like the steak is cooked in the kitchen and then finished here table salad what if i put some bernays on the potato i think that would be very good it will taste different i mean i like it i do like it but it almost reminds me like the coconut just hurt i don't know why it's delicious but it's like almost like a coconut cake batter what if they gave me coconut cake batter by mistake the steak is so good the chicken was so good ounces each then we have potatoes got some greens can't get enough of it can you tell me what the bernays is made of i'm sorry i mean what does the make this made of grenade think of a traditional hollandaise sauce you just add tarragon oh tarragon is the biggest difference between the berets and [Music] all right we're down to our last bites small spikes i mean this is literally my last bite maybe i can cut it into two and get two more bites he's really cutting the last bite into two bites yeah maybe more i could make it last four bites maybe more i think it's a good good last two bites [Music] there is more you can order for dessert of course we have we're getting the bananas faster tableside for two i'm very excited about of course there's emerald signature banana cream pie which definitely get it we've had that before yeah over at emerald's fish house at mgm grand it is remarkable it's remarkable okay next we have a pecan pie okay we have a chocolate hazelnut mousse cake a selection of homemade soup homemade sorbets excuse me and finally some french pressed coffee add a little bit of butter in there let that melt down a little bit cinnamon brown sugar over the top banana the core [Music] [Music] and you can see it's starting to bubble add our bananas over the top [Music] we got a nice coat on everything now heat's going to come on for a second dark rum over the top turn our heat back up again thank you [Music] yes and there's homemade vanilla ice cream it's melting this is the perfect ending to the ultimate steakhouse dinner for two here at emerald lagasse's del monaco steakhouse at the
