Lake Compounce and The Haunted Graveyard

hey you all uncovered bagger here coming to you live from the north more specifically Bristol Connecticut even more specifically on that I'm in front of Lake compounds now a lot of theme parks claim to be the oldest theme park in the United States Knott's Berry Farm basically the oldest holiday world in Santa Claus Indiana claims to be the oldest I think this one's got a beat try 1846 this Park opened that this part predates the Civil War think about it Abraham Lincoln could have rode one of these rollercoasters and I believe they're having some sort of Halloween festivities tonight but I'm excited to check out the oldest theme park in the United States follow me let's give you a hundred and seventy-one years the Family Fund that is almost excessive amount of fun here we are greeted by a very very spooky scene you can see these hell hounds baying at the moon these skeletons spewing fog showed up fairly early here so there's not a lot of guests in the park yet it's like we have an old-timey bathhouse interesting chemicals being released into the air old timey carousel playing very haunted music this is a very monstrous statue right here I don't know what's going on under those ghost sheets Pink's is actually a classic Hollywood hot dog stand interesting to see it out here in Connecticut you know if giant hot dogs did ride rollercoasters it would be pretty messy if there's some very horrifying blacklight murals on there there's a there's a lion eating are I'm a bear eating a person a gorilla ripping off someone's head and I'll have someone's leg circus animals yeah there's no tiger eating like circus animals I've gone insane oh there's one of the killer clowns from outer space a skeleton clown monster with some giant Legos and see the bearded lady I'm the bestest opposed to like the chupacabra over there I can see all these evil clowns he's that skeleton coming out of his grave and then over here we have clowns performing surgery now clouds are good at a lot of things surgery not necessarily one of them there's a clown here is welcome oh my gosh so many faces he has yeah these are some seriously twisted murals here you can see two pigs barbecuing at first and the pig is also a clown is why not we got this maniac throwing knives into a woman got clown using this human and this werewolf is marionettes probably gonna make them do something horrible oh yeah teddy bear right there the amazing Madame Olga while we're waiting for the Halloween festivities to kick in let's start with something with spooky year-round this is bleak stone manor appears to be some sort of dark ride dedicated to the memory of the ghosts of bleak stone Manor wait a minute are the ghosts dead well I mean all ghosts are dead why do you have memory of the ghosts I'm confused [Music] to shoot these with our ghost gun I told you I'm a second classic II lost I don't know [Music] local casket look at chandelier [Music] little ghosty dinner there Oh [Music] oh it's about to get real spooky Oh the mirrors everywhere [Music] Oh jump-scare just waking up out of bed [Music] it's a fortune-teller Oh [Music] [Music] you [Music] that's a Oh bad ghost ghost there's a bomb looks like a little cemetery here there's some witch graves they're both hanged on different dates it seems like a lot of these are the graves of witches very very spooky did you know Milli Vanilli was got limp sinking on stage at Lake compound I didn't know that happened here but that's very fascinating all right maybe step into Zoomers gas and go and take a little car ride all right chariot awaits there are some other cars Oh what they're playing the theme from Halloween that's it's got super spooky all of a sudden some billboards they'll watch for that pink hot dog stand and the yard goats baseball calm so dinosaur peeking through the trees of that's interesting oh there's the Popo a man a Miss a car a curve kiss the miss and missed the curve burma-shave oh the fog machine to the atomic drive-in it's like a little drive-in theater what if they play shows on that I've done usually intense weather patterns swirling around the northwestern corner of Lake compounds today as storm buuza fur brings with him some severe thunder and lightning a slow-moving cool mountain breeze has swept through the warm air mass in the area and has produced enough extreme thunder and lightning to last all season stay tuned for updates on this exciting storm why don't we hop aboard the good old fierce we don't even get a bird's-eye view of the park and once again I a paying customer I'm told that I cannot ride the ferris wheel by myself I asked why and the girls like oh it's a park policy well that's not a reason why can I not ride the ferris wheel well if you were getting at the top and you'd have a medical condition you wouldn't have anyone else so if I had a medical condition at the top and there was someone with me are they supposed to climb down and tell someone this single rider on a ferris wheel thing needs to be rectified I do not understand someone who is in charge of theme parks please contact me I was told in in in Cedar Point instead of suicide reasons so apparently I'm gonna have a suicide freakout and jump out of the ferris wheel here at like Campos I'm gonna have a stroke up at the top of the ferris wheel what what if really a ferris wheel is so dangerous you need to completely operate under the buddy system it's a grilled-cheese alligator right there in memory of enterprise is that some sort of political statement whoa right here they go hey wait wait no no no could see the ominous caution tape wrapped around these clowns blocking off the kiddie area kiddie area is closed tonight because Halloween is no time for children the flying elephant ride there's the drum circus you can see the giant drumming clown who presumably drums the heads of all the children in those buckets oh what's going on here who's that Lucifer Oh oh those gargoyles just spewed water on the children that would have been standing there oh he's stealing some more water these are very very evil gargoyle looks for some of the seasonal snacks you can actually drink bags of blood which in real life is very very very unsanitary one thing that's a little confusing is they're using a very liberal amount of caution tape and their Halloween theming but they're simultaneously using caution tape to close off certain rides so it's hard to tell what's closed and what's just decorated for Halloween oh and there's for people who do not value their own lives safety or mental health hi hey I hate that ride [Music] ah no look how high it goes look at all those fortunate people on the fair so we all that we're lucky enough to bring a friend with undue amusement park what's going on here oh my gosh wait what oh oh they almost didn't make it oh that is a brutal slow-motion corkscrew this roller coaster looks what's punishing to the pirate swinging back and forth back and forth oh here they go whoa oh my god they coming back click on the back and they come they go oh you knew what it was when you're getting on it this twirly thing right here Anna made me get on one of these that's I don't don't understand the game he'll all right Cemetery is filling it with zombies there's always a good sign Oh [Music] what's going on I think we may have to dub in some copyright free music [Music] you whoa-ho they've left the graveyard what's going on here [Music] these black light murals are even more terrifying in the black life this is an interesting statue here of a little Connecticut alligator all right so you have a timed entrance to the actual haunted attraction that starts at 17 7:00 and 7:30 we're heading over there right now Oh [Applause] 50 live okay apparently like compounds was seen on stranger things season three trailer one at one forty they put the times they have 140 and 312 ah there we go wait you know who I am well don't jump scare me okay pretty disgust alright in line for the haunted graveyard hey there skeleton and playing the piano two dragons oh look a friendly clown just gave a rose what a nice clown the clown knows my name that's great oh you're an evil clown I thought you were a good clown pretty cool castle facade out here [Laughter] we're in a cemetery now that's great guys Vanier gravedigger whoa I see a woman grieving on that gravestone she might be real I don't know who the quarry grains are gonna move around these flashing jack-o'-lanterns these happy cows oh no it's the cannibalism shed I'm sorry I'm not in a position to help you right now JD country meats we're in the cooler their fries they're uneaten human remains someone's in there a delightful sound of Pig screaming okay what's this a little farm scene a little zombie farm family Oh some sort of werewolf monster there's Ernie the evil dog oh there's the devil does it get much worse than that a little of these spooky Pat's look at these horrid beasts oh gee it's quick rolling at me oh look that guy heading into some sort of alligator Shack this is some sort of Voodoo room here what do you want mostly like a family I'd say so I need that sorry creepy snakes down there in the swamp hey spider face look at those spiders up there you can see a moving very heavy spider theming going on protect our necks vampire castle oh look at that Vlad the Impaler hey there it's vampires are these creepy vampires well what happens that's a dead vampire hunter so many vampires this castle it's ridiculous there's a baby hanging from that tree that's not a good sign we're dealing with witches now odo you see him staring at you he's up on that hill that he knows Oh who's up there Satan Hey look a black hat look at TV look I think there's a human sacrifice going on the top of that pyramid that's a lot of skulls don't touch the gold [Applause] yes what the bloody hell took you so long you've been blogging everything no sorry so dark in here screaming in the dark no fair oh my gosh jeez Oh what the heck oh geez that was cool rotating body know where my face so much yelling in here oh look at that is that guy I'll hurt for a second demon phobia I think everyone should be afraid of demons oh those are spooky faces poking out at us oh go into the light Oh just messing with my head all this and now we're heading into a haunted palace that's great oh the mailbox is haunted that was blood-curdling for a duck got a satanic dinner feasts going on here super overflowing bloody bathtub like you know what's the worst that could happen oh now we're gonna go to the hospital we got some they can help me with my mental disorders [Applause] this is a bad Hospital hello oh my gosh its babies crawling on the wall corpses everywhere this is terrifying oh and there's there's the ambulance and I think I think we survived that was Lake compound and like compound says haunted graveyard I must say that that was a very impressive haunt a very long haunt they pretty much covered every imaginable haunted environment so yeah at the world's oldest I'm years apart appreciate you guys watching if you'd like to see
