Lagoon Amusement Park - Amazing Dark Rides, plus riding ALL the Rollercoasters

[Music] hey you all carpetbagger here coming to you live from the west more specifically farmington utah and even more specifically than that i am at lagoon this is a classic amusement park started in 1897. it looks like there's a lot of cool roller coasters a lot of cool attractions but the thing i'm most interested in checking out is there's actually two counted two classic dark rides designed by one bill tracy an absolute legend in the classic dark ride business so please follow me [Music] of course before we head in do the responsible thing and mask up [Music] this map here i must say this is a thing of beauty this is the most uh beautiful map i've ever seen in an amusement park i think i i think i'm actually hanging a copy of this on my wall my bunker this is so cool a little carousel horse there look at this mysterious rotating ring of magic right here their bathrooms the guy in the sign is actually doing a potty dance [Music] and here we have our first classic dark ride known simply this terror ride you can see the letters dancing with terror [Music] look at that we got a skeleton bursting forward from that window what's that oh it's like a like a lady vampire look at this amazing mural right here we've got a dragon fighting a sasquatch there's a octopus over there some sort of mummy perfect creepy skull on that ride vehicle as you experience our deadly chills please remember to stay seated keep arms and legs inside the car at all times and do not stand up [Music] here we go scared already [Music] oh fresh air already eyeballs look familiar oh wow okay that was too much at once done [Music] wow the torture chamber oh there's spinning wheel oh rat [Music] what are you oh trolls wonderful god very short but very amazing lot packed into a very small area definitely it makes you want to ride again to kind of see all the details all right all right through the glowing skull door into the spooky darkness you get spooky eyeballs there's some pressed air and they turn red which is extra spooky this room's pretty spooky right here first red guy dead bird going through the tunnel here this dungeon area where the dungeon cells are rattling that one's flying at us into the torture chamber people being tortured against their will [Music] here's the guy with the rat poverty all right we're gonna get jump scared by this thing all the into the right area creepy troll some troll on top of the water fountain there another troll eating guts got me and here's our other spooky dark ride dracula's castle there's a little werewolf peeking out behind that tree up there there's dracula himself up there dracula's castle it'll scare the yell outta ya see some of the decorations of medusa carved into the stone [Music] here we go [Music] spooky portrait hallway jaws right here the last one got me oh frankenstein what's this oh headless horseman oh it's a giant gorilla hey he's coming at me oh oh what's going on up there what's going on over here oh look at that over to some sort of cave sort of glowing cave what's going on in here oh my gosh flying bats mausoleum more to airy i trip try to read some of these funny headstones oh very close quarters here oh what's that oh water's gonna pour on me oh oh it's a little drizzle all right let's give that another ride through oh look in there the seal of the devil portraits last one's going to jump scary we got the big spooky mouth that we entered the headless horseman the big gorilla over here the world over there giant rat skeleton electric chair we got this structure that skeleton at the end is going to hit the detonator it's gonna collapse on us big scary thing up there the end i got a skeleton riding a skeletal horse and the spooky cave the bats flying around the mausoleum let's try to read some of these spooky uh grapes lucy fur q s two v i don't get it i'm a down under i think this is a um a uh vortex tunnel but it doesn't seem to be rotating oh they're pouring water on us but just at the last second we just get the dribbles this roller coaster here is actually named roller coaster it's a name that uncreative has to be good now all roller coasters today will be filmed with my uh gopro black hero 7 strapped to my wrist all right getting in the okay getting the front seat here all right here we go kind of a view of some of the other rides in the park from up here caution do not stand up seems like good advice oh there's the parking lot oh no the beautiful view of the mountains right there oh my god uh it's decent that was nice nice medium intensity roller coaster there we have the old woman who lives in his shoes home here you just remember keep off the shield a little train here the lagoon railroad i don't know if there's any room left on this train okay last seat right by the conductor train heading over this body of water right here there's a white tiger it seems so random wait a minute you get spun upside down and twirled and you get sprayed with water that sounds like maybe the least amount of fun possible on a ride oh my god there's gonna be doubts the mouse detective the classic wild mouse style uh roller coaster there [Music] that's the top of the wild mouse this is not fun these two suck i feel like i'm gonna fall out of here maybe i need to relax a complete stop rip my intestines out oh no oh no why they keep stopping oh we're going into the masses house oh my gosh that actually murdered me so this is known as colossus the fire dragon oh my gosh so welcome back once your lap bar has been released all right the fire dragon goes upside down a few times looks pretty scary took my glasses off because i didn't want to lose them and here we go once again i hate rollercoasters it wasn't that bad it wasn't that bad at all oh wow giant spider just spewed out venom so apparently the spider here is the entrance to a roller coaster called the spider all right looks like we enter the spider through this spider castle right here basically it is like a wild mouse but with a spinning car now this may look scarier than the wild mouse but i actually find it a little more enjoyable oh my gosh i take it back this is the worst thing ever oh it doesn't jam you it's a wild mouse but oh my god feels like i'm in a blender oh this is bad no is it done oh no not even close i was told by someone that this wicked is the best roller coaster in the park i will be honest with you i have zero desire to actually get aboard this monstrosity but i'm gonna do it because i know that you want me to apparently this ride wicked is a notorious cell phone eater no look at that oh my gosh [Music] all right i'm not excessively brave so i'm gonna take one of these middle seats on the second row all right it can't be that scary can it oh my gosh oh my god is it over that's too bad easy peasy i like how their pirate ship ride has a giant squid on top of it [Music] check out that squid pretty cool people are really into this ride too [Music] here's their pioneer village area oh look here i have a gun museum these are buffalo guns in case you want to do that to a buffalo guns guns guns guns guns guns guns guns guns guns guns guns guns guns guns swords there's the pioneer village town hall there's someone's desk right there and then some jail cells as these are authentic jail cells from you kimberley here's another jail here the davis county holding jail looks like you can peek inside it's interesting a jail in an a park yeah a lot of old restored cabins here kind of an interesting addition to an amusement park with spooky dark rides and wild roller coasters and old historic cabins it's a little soggy the dentist's office belongs to dr dunford uh interesting they chose not to go with a pun name let's see all the ghoulish dentistry equipment right there what the heck this bathroom here is this rotating toilet in front of it rotating in circles and opening and closing as well that is impressive as it is inexplicable [Music] let's travel to the other end of the park using the most reliable form of transportation known to man sky car please do not spit smoke or bounce the ride thank you i will not thank you it's actually just some truly breathtaking views from up here well looks like we stopped there for a second oh oh here they go there they go you drop them i'm gonna make them wait in a second make them sweat it out and there they go oh no it was a trick you're going back up there we go nope not it not quite there you go notice a very unusual structure back there i gotta imagine that is probably a upcoming attraction looks like an attraction that's maybe not finished being built yet we're gonna shoot these poor people directly up and let's go there we go oh my gosh what are they saying i can't hear yeah i'm not getting on that no way oh my gosh look at those legs just flying through the air foreign see this giant line here very helpfully wearing a mask now this is cannibal i think this is a oh you'll see a horrifying first drop there uh this looks to be one of the most terrifying roller coasters they have here and i think this will be our final roller coaster of the day [Music] oh look at that there you go you can see that that drop how steep it is it actually curves inward oh my god oh dear welcome to cannibal please watch your step as you board the vehicle please sit in an upright position and rest your head against the head rest oh it's spooky where are we it's really dark [Music] oh no straight up oh my gosh oh this was a terrible mistake no no leave your body jacob oh my god [Music] oh now what oh very slow rotation that's horrible oh my gosh even go all the way oh my god that was insane oh my gosh cannibal that was that was intense it was insane and this may sound strange but like i got off the roller coaster and my toes my all my toes hurt really bad i realized it was because i was clenching my toes really hard the whole time without even realizing it oh why do people make me do these horrible horrible things this giant like purple kraken lifting these like sharks oh wow they're all drizzling with water [Music] it's like a mashup of dumbo meets 20 000 leagues under the sea [Music] oh looks like that dolphin there is spinning on people [Music] thank you for joining me here today at lagoon in farmington utah an absolutely delightful and amazing amusement park two two separate haunted dark rides you just don't see that anymore um and as you can see just a fantastic collection of roller coasters as well uh just a really
