morning everyone this is the day that the lord has made let us rejoice and be glad in it i invite the priests team to take over this time and render some songs or choruses that's the name of jesus hallelujah lord we give you glory we give you honor we give you praise there is none like you lord jesus you are mighty this morning we're here to lift up the name of jesus and we're going to stand to our feet as we begin our praise and worship at this time what's the name of jesus we're going to begin by singing i'm pressing on the upward way hallelujah [Music] i'm pressing on the upwards [Music] moderator sister every morgan and we do hope to have a good time praising god today our theme for this lady sunday is forward together with discipline courage and hope brothers and sisters we live in a world today of chaos we live in a world today of with challenges we live in a country where we have our own social issues we have crime we have poverty we have employed unemployment and i could name them and for us as individuals too sometimes we to face these issues but as children of god we know that temptations will arise but i'm encouraging you to discipline your mind not to yield to temptation to encourage your heart to stand firm on god's word and hope hope that blessed hope let us hope in god who is the earth and finisher of our faith he will never disappoint us hope for christians brothers and sisters is not a wish hope for christians is that confidence in god you know you trust him you believe in him you rest assured that he'll take care of all your needs all your problems because with these issues that we are having i am sure for many temptations come some false temptations but i'm encouraging your heart to stay on the pathway so that the lord will continue to hold your hand our hope is and should be anchored in jesus when we talk about your hope is built my hope is built your hope is built so this morning a little change i could say our hope is built on nothing less but jesus blood and his righteousness i dare not trust the sweetest frame but holy lean on jesus name this frame that we have here will become worthless if we don't take care of it and i'm not just talking about it taking care of it physically taking care of it spiritually so let us anchor our hope and our trust in our lord and savior jesus christ i now invite sister evelyn chen to another sunday morning mighty god we are here in your sanctuary lord to lift your name upon high to give you glory to give your honor to give your praise to worship you almighty god because of who you are almighty god as we come this morning we empty ourselves before you god because mighty god our cups are empty before you and we're gonna ask you lord as we come to worship you this morning that you'll fill them almighty god lord i ask this morning that you'll wash us afresh this morning from the crown of our head to the souls of our feet purge us out this morning with your east almighty god forgive us of our sins oh god and let us humble ourselves before you god almighty god we praise you this morning because of your goodness because of your mercy towards us thank you almighty god that you have wake us up but this morning you have clawed us in our mind almighty god so many persons this morning don't have this privilege but god you have lent it to us and we are here very grateful to you god almighty and we want you to know this morning mighty god that we thank you for your mercies towards us god almighty we thank you that you kept us through the we almighty god so many near misses mighty god but lord you were there right on time so god as we come the sanctuary this morning we're not gonna take it for granted mighty god because we know had it not been for you on our side mighty god it could have been different almighty guys we are about to go into this morning service god we place it in your mighty hands we answer the holy spirit we lead and direct everything that is going to be said and done this morning almighty god i lift up before you this morning the moderator i placed her into your mighty hands oh god i ask oh god that you will touch our fresh anointer almighty god so that god she will be she will put ourselves under the care of the holy ghost to lead us this morning man to god i pray for the praise team this morning i pray almighty god that you will have known their voice afresh to sing lostly to the glory and honor of your name i lift up before you almighty god the musicians the technicians and all the other persons almighty god who are taking care of this service mighty god i presented for you this morning the speaker almighty god you know this morning that person is going to bring the word i pray almighty god that you'll give us receptive hearts oh god to hear your word a word god that we so need at this time almighty god i lift up before you the shepherd of this house bishop james small almighty god i pray in the mighty name of jesus that you will continue to strengthen you continue to give him wisdom at this time almighty god to lead us god or such a time as this mighty god remember all those persons this morning over this entire world we're going through their difficult time god we are in this crisis almighty god but lord we know that we have a god who is well able this morning a god who will never leave us so god will never forsake us a god almighty god we will never put mourners that we can bear mighty god you are a present help in time of trouble and this morning god all over the world is trouble but god we are anchoring in your rock of ages this morning because we know that we have an anchor who keeps our soul steadfast and sure where the builders roll fast into that rock help us not to move from that mighty god because god if we don't move from that rock we know god almighty that you'll bring us right through right truth to the promised land this morning oh god almighty we lift up those persons who are hailing this morning who are being affected by the virus are being affected by other ailments i pray mighty god that you touch them this morning you'll bring healing and deliverance to their mind their bodies their spirit and their soul god almighty i pray that whatever need they have this morning that you almighty god will supply them oh god almighty i pray for those who are grieving this morning god the lust of their loved ones oh god at this time there are so many killings going on but god almighty i pray in the name of jesus that you will take charge of every situation god almighty our nation has become like the city of many of you before you god you said the blood has come up into your nostril well god this morning i pray god almighty that as we hear your word as we hear your word on all time almighty god we will just turn from a worded ways mighty god have mercy upon jamaica land we love this morning god almighty i pray that the spirit of murder will put to him this morning oh god almighty i pray that the blood of jesus this morning will saturate our nation saturate our nation this morning with your undiluted blood almighty god i pray in the name of jesus christ of nazareth that is mourning god we your people we are children who are called by your name mighty god we make up in our hearts and our mind this morning god to stand resolute god on your word mighty god at this time in the name of jesus god i present all those who have not yet surrendered their life to you this morning i pray almighty god that you will touch them oh god you said it is not your wish for none to perish but all to come to repentance wrong this morning god i pray this morning that someone someone god will hear your word or hear your voice today and turn to you mighty god like soul and said i heal i heal i cannot kick against the brick and wind oh god this morning remember those who have walked the walk with you god but because of some reason god they have turned from you mighty god i pray in the name of jesus that you touch them this morning you'll bring them back to you magical because you said you're married to the backsliders oh god bring them back to you before it's too late oh god the mercy door is hoping and there's no timeline almighty god father remember those persons who are viewing on the different platform i placed them into your hands this morning and i ask oh god that you will give them a word this morning oh god i know their cups are lifted up this morning waiting to hear from you mighty god because they are at a point in their life right now god when they said i need a word i need a word i need a word and this morning card as we about to go in our service i pray almighty god that they will get that word and they will be encouraged they will be lifted almighty god they will be strengthened oh god almighty they will have almighty god to go on touch us again this morning touch everything on the program this morning have thine own sweet way precious jesus and let your will be done in jesus name i pray amen and amen foreign good morning church our scriptures is taken from hebrews chapter 12 reading from verse 5 to 11 and i'm reading from the new from the new living transition bible and it read those and have you forgotten the encouraging word god spoken unto you as his children he said my child don't make light of the lord discipline and don't give up when he correct you for the lord discipline those he loves and he punish each one he accept as his child as you endure it is divine discipline remember that god is treating you as his own children who ever heard of a child who is never disciplined by his father if god doesn't discipline you as he does all of his children it's mean that you are illegitimate and are not really his children at all since we respect our healthy father who discipline us should we submit even more to the discipline of the father of our spirit and live forever for our heartly father disciplined us for a few years doing the best they knew how but god discipline is always good for us so that we might share in his holiness 11th and last no discipline is enjoyable no discipline is enjoyable why it is happening it's painful but afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are chained in this way this is a portion of god's holy world we honor it by saying thanks be to god let us praise the lord let us praise the lord i just want to thank the praise team for their continued support of with their god-given talent to the service of god to sister chin for the opening prayer and to sister robinson for reading the mornings listen i love the lord with all my heart come on brethren what about you i love the lord with all my heart if i'm in the house i'll be walking up and down and my mouth would be moving maybe my husband will feel that i'm doing something else but i'm giving god thanks every minute of the day i find something to thank him for and especially in these challenging times we all have something to give god thanks for i just want to encourage your hearts again i'm looking at the life of david and solomon when solomon was building the temple i think there was a time when he felt kind of discouraged and the father was assuring him and said look here don't be discouraged you know the temple is to be built you might be frustrated you might be tired the workmen might not be doing the job the way you want it but guess what leave everything into the hands of the lord he will never never fail you never so you just keep hope keep faith alive some encouraging us all this morning to keep our hope alive keep our faith alive trust in god no matter what the situation the discouragement the dark clouds the high mountains the storms god is able he will keep us right now we are going to put our voices together and we'll sing the congregation on him number 230 deeper deeper pristine i invite you to lead us off of the cry of christ and i mean it it should be done anywhere you go not just when we come here to worship on a sunday but our lives must display it persons must touch you and say mr sir are you a christian you look like a christian are you and then you're gonna answer in the affirmative so to be a true soldiers of christ you have to be brave because some people are afraid to say i'm a christian out there it's only when they meet the brothers and sisters that can identify themselves and say i am but anywhere you go you should be your master's child so to be a good soldier of the cross i'm encouraging everybody all of us to be disciplined so we're gonna read the word of god and we're gonna pray we're gonna have courage and as i said before anywhere you go testify about the love of god the goodness of god and then we are going to be hopeful so we are going to trust god for a victorious life remember there's a crown of life that is awaiting us and we won't receive it if we do not do the masters will so brothers and sisters as i said before anchor yourself in the precious blood of jesus place your hands into his land into his hands he will lead you and you must follow it is no time for the word time for us to be refreshed time for us to dine i am now going to invite bishop to come and encourage our hearts turn up your cops brothers and sisters to receive what god marvin hutchinson i recognize all the leadership of the women's ministry great to see you sister jacqueline williams god bless you and your executive thank you so much my faithful musicians and technicians and all those who work in the praise and worship and media department god bless you thank you i greet you well others of my brothers and sisters in the house and outside of the house those who are watching virtually i greet you well in the name of jesus christ it's great to be back in the house of the lord and i'm delighted i am delighted to be a part of what god is doing amen amen somebody we are living in challenging time troublesome times are here filling men hard with fear do you hear me but guess what we can just rest assure it's pointing that jesus will soon be here amen is coming soon morning or night or noon so we are just um reminded day after day every tick of the clock that jesus will soon be here so i want us to prepare for the coming of the lord and to believe god for great things to happen in the name of the lord today i want to recognize or women in more than one ways especially the fact that the women of the church they make up probably we would say 75 percent of the constituents and so we must give special recognition to our faithful women and especially those who lead in the different parts of the women's ministry whether it's the women's ministry young women's ministry or the girls clubs or any form of leadership among our female i want to salute you today i want to thank god for your leadership and to thank god for you today we continue in the spirit of going forward amen we are going forward forward together and we are doing it in discipline and with courage and with hope i want to talk a little bit about women who are mentors today women who mentor and and especially they do it in times of crisis times of difficulties yes as i sought the lord i i you take me to this passage in exodus chapter 2 i want to pull some things out of today as i speak especially to our women and to encourage your heart to continue to do what god has called you to do and to be faithful in doing so for god will reward you tremendously so exodus chapter 2 is where our reflections will come from today and we want to focus on women who mentor mentors those who help to develop those who helped to nourish those who helped to disciple those who helped in their growth pattern and ways of life you know just think about it what our lives would have been if we didn't grow up with a mother i i grew up loving my parents loving both mother and father i love them dearly and thank god for them maybe they are even watching me now but uh there was some there was a special place in my heart for mother even somebody and and my dad knows that you know we grew up kind of having this type of understanding that the boys were for mommy and the girls were for daddy and they were never jealous about it as a matter of fact my dad made sure he gave my mom six boys so that will never make sure that the score was never level and and and my mom gave my dad five girls so in any way you take it mom is scoring more but but it is just that there was that special place in my heart for her you know i i recall i recall as a as a as a teenager maybe i was about 13 you know just feeling for mother just having this this what i call compassion and care and wanting to help mother with some of the chores in the in the house and i i remember starting ironing my uniform for school because i wanted to to help mother hello somebody i didn't know it would have helped me to become a better husband her a better father but that was how i grew up and so today i want to focus on this passage of scripture about mentoring um women who mentors from exodus chapter 2 from exodus chapter 2 reading from the new international version now a man of the tribe of levi married a levi woman and she became pregnant and gave birth to a son when she saw that he was a fine child she hit him for three months but when she hired him no longer she got a papyrus basket for him and coated it with a tar and pit then she placed the child in it and put him among the reeds along the bank of the nile river his sister stood up at a distance and see what would happen to him then pharaoh's daughter went down to the nile to bed and her attendants were walking along the riverbank she saw the basket among the reed and sent her female slave to get it she opened it and saw the baby he was crying and she felt sorry for him this is one of the hebrew baby she said then his sister asks pharaoh's daughter shall i go and get one of the hebrew women to nurse the baby for you yes go she answered so the girl went and got the baby's mother oh glory to god pharaoh's daughter said to her take this baby and nurse him for me and i will pay you so the mother told the woman took the baby and nursed him and when the child grew older she took him to pharaoh's daughter and he became her son and she named him moses saying i drew him out of the water this is a word of the lord and the people say amen father thank you thank you that this word is blessed and thank you that this word is already oh god you're undiluted lord powerful word but now we ask that holy spirit as we lift it off the pages as we lord read it from our gadgets or wherever oh god your people will read this word today let it come alive let someone who hears it believe and moreover god let the women who god afford church of our society understand that there is a purpose on their life that god will go you'll have brought them into this world with a plan on their life bless this word onto our hearts and glorify your name for we ask it in the name of jesus and god's people say amen amen praise the lord i praise the lord praise the name of the lord thank you jesus thank you jesus there are three women that stands out in this passage or even if i would say three females that stands out in this passage and that is that jacob the mother of moses his sister miriam and pharaoh's daughter and pharaoh's daughter three women three unique women distinct women they have different personalities they have different needs they have different challenges but they are right here in the passage before it and we're going to pull them out today and learn some things from these women but one of the things that we must also pay attention is that at some point they all encountered the basket the basket made from papyrus they all encountered it i i want to think that probably um moses died he was instrumental maybe in making the basket you know the men sometimes come alongside a woman to do some of those type of chores and get involved into the family life and carrying out some of the chores that it may be more difficult for the women but it's not surprising that jacob was the one who made it to because we have women who are that industrious but the basket was made we cannot understand this passage without putting it in a context without reading chapter one of exodus because when you get to chapter two you are asking yourself why is this happening how is this happening what's happening here and that's why you have to read the scriptures in context oh exodus chapter 1 begins by giving us the genealogy of the hebrew nation of the israelites naming the 12 um sons of the of jacob of israel and telling us how they had settled in the land of egypt oh we would have remembered how they got there because joseph went ahead of them even though he became a slave in egypt how god promoted him oh god bless joseph until he became the minister of finance he was now in charge of administration in the pharaoh's government and as a result of that how god blessed the israelites and prospered them so when you get to chapter one of exodus we are told that the nation of israel was prospering oh glory to god the nation of israel were progressing they were growing so much great things were happening for them until the point where the government of the pharaohs said what's happening here can't we see they are almost outnumbering us then came another problem not only that they saw the prosperity of the israelites but the bible said joseph died and so the fearless know that we're leading did not remember the faithfulness of joseph and how he saved the entire nation of egypt you know some people are going to forget your goodness yeah it will just take some years for some people to forget the things you have done but god is your witness somebody praise the lord so by the time we understood that the fear was made great what we call um what we call it they made some some great laws and one of them was that because of the growth and the prosperity of the israelites he commanded that the boys will be put to death all the males will be put to death so that's not strange it was it was not only the first place in scripture that we saw that men were marginalized something happened about men that they were trying to get rid of men hello somebody yes we saw the same thing that happened that the arabs wanted to kill jesus they killed all the boys at that time listen to me somebody there's always a threat in the society against anyone or anything that god is using for the promotion of the gospel anything or anyone that seek to be causing the growth and the prosperity of god's people today the church yes the church is targeted because the church is considered to be the the organization the institution yes the that causes the growth the prosperity and the blessing of god's people but can i tell you this that god says upon this rock i will establish i will build my church and no gates of hell no powers of darkness nothing shall prevail against the church somebody help me shout to hallelujah [Music] so the children were targeted the men were targeted every time a boy child was born for the israelite the israelite midwives were told to get rid of them [Music] so now we get to chapter 2 and we recognize what happened here when jacob became pregnant with moses i don't know if she did any form of what we call ultrasound maybe that technology was not available then what how she would know that she was carrying a boy child how would she know she was carrying the child of purpose how she would would she know that she was carrying the deliverer oh how would she know that in her in her in her in her belly she had a man that god would anoint to bring deliverance to the people how would she know that he would be her own deliverer think about it it reminds me of when god oh hallelujah the bible said in the fullness of time god sent forth his son born of a woman oh god almighty i want women to to just shake yourself and and square your shoulders and understand you are important you are important yes we live in a society where you are looked down upon you are um sometimes abused misused and you go through so much challenges what god said to tell you when he wanted to make the transition oh hallelujah from glory to earth from heaven to her when he wanted to be manifested in the earth rhema he chose a woman hello somebody and told mary she was highly favored and god chose a woman and paul says in the fullness of time god's senported son she was born of a woman she was born under the law to redeem them that were under the law i come to tell somebody you may not understand who you are but god says there is purpose upon you oh glory to god tell your child speak over your child speak over your children you don't know who you are nurturing who you are bringing up you may be nurturing and bringing up another world leader another preacher another evangelist do you hear me somebody i'm not a world changer oh you don't know who you are bringing up i can imagine when my mom gave birth to me she would not have known that only 50 plus years later i will be standing in a pulpit and declaring just said the almighty god do you hear what i'm saying somebody you can't understand the plan the purpose of god and so all you have to do is to avail yourselves so god can use you that's the context of how moses came we understand later that he was not the first child he was not the first child because his sister miriam was a part of the strategy that god used to preserve him note what the bible said for three months after his birth moses was hidden she he was hidden [Music] she couldn't take him to the to the to the registered health centers for checkups she couldn't take him to get his vaccinations when am i talking to somebody today you have to hide him three months and when she could not hide him anymore because probably there was something that warrants the public uh um encounter probably some vaccination that was needed something that would have warrant his public disclosure the baba said she placed him in a basket and put him along the reeds along the river nile that was where he would have spent some more days just being there but guess what she had oh god to employ his sister while she would have stayed home and to take care of things she employed moses sister miriam to take care of the child by just watching to see what would become of the child oh god almighty i just want to just bring out to you today that this woman called jacob she was an outstanding woman who had faith in god who trusted god she was a woman oh god of purpose she was a woman that derived a strategy she didn't know what god would have done how god would have done it all she knew she was just following what god would have said to her and what she was told to do and watch me somebody i want you to understand that that moses mother who could have probably um given in to the to the what we call the crisis of the time she could have given in at the very time when the child was born and they recognized he was a boy child she could have just given him and said this is what the society asks for this is what is required this is what i must do is there's somebody today that will go against the odds can i find a woman today that will say i am going to go against the heart oh it may cost me my life it may be that i will put my integrity on the line it may be that something may happen but guess what if god is with me i'm going to stand in my ground and follow his leading somebody shout hallelujah somebody shout to praise [Music] i'm gonna follow his leading i'm gonna follow his leading out of this story of moses mother one of the things that the woman has to learn today is that god has placed you in this world to be nurturers i don't want to bring this home to the church that women are naturally nurturers women are naturally what we call mentors or of their children helping to develop them helping to inculcate values in them we see this throughout scripture oh god almighty yes even when um paul was writing to timothy he reminded him that his grandmother lois and his mother united they were instrumental in teaching him the scripture from he was a child do you understand your purpose in this time of crisis women in this time of what we call lockdown and there is no formal sunday school there is no formal going to church for the children there is no formal face-to-face education for your children what are you going to do you must remind yourself that you must be the first nurturer you must be the first educator you must be the first teacher you must find the time make the time to develop your children and train girls the child in the way that he should go that when he is old he is not shall not depart from it [Music] let me bring it home to say that not only that it applies to children being developed but women of god it must apply to you passing on some values to the younger women titus says let the old woman teach the younger that was what jacob did to her daughter miriam she said miriam i don't know what about this child but i want you to know you are going to help me to protect him you are going to help me to nurture him this takes me to the second woman named miriam i don't think miriam took on that responsibility with a sense of joy or happiness as you would have noticed mothers if you have more than one child you would have noticed that sometimes the first child would not want to see too much attention be given to the second or the third child do you hear me somebody there are stories where the first child will pinch the baby the first child will push the baby off the bed the first child will do things that are rude to the baby i don't think miriam was so happy sitting out there at the river nile and watching that child maybe he was she was saying this is one of the ways i'll get rid of her so that i can get the attention we still have women in the church who are not so happy to see children and others prosper they want the attention for themselves they want to just enjoy whatever comes but god said to remind the miriam's of the church you are the role your role is to connect the child to the next level but god wants you to connect the child to the next level [Music] later on we recognized miriam was a part of moses worship team she was in the praise and worship team she let the praise and worship when they came out of egypt oh and she got that tambourine and she said come on old musicians come on praise tv i'm delivered praise the lord i am delivered glory to his name later on we found that even though she was a worshiper she still had some problems she still had attitudinal problems that she started criticizing moses and speaking about if he's the only one that god can talk to and god to discipline her and struck her with leprosy [Music] can i speak to the women of the making new testament church of god to tell you what's your attitude be careful of your mindset be careful of those you criticize who are placed into leadership sometimes people will say how comes how comes how is that me why pastor didn't ask me why is it that pastor didn't appoint me how come this person is now leading me i don't think this person is even qualified i don't know how long this person has been in the church and they pass all different assertions and negative be careful be careful be careful be careful of how you speak about your leader speak about your your deaconess your pastor be careful be careful what you say because god can use it against you you can speak judgment to your own life can somebody lift your hands in the house and say lord help me [Music] miriam a job was to connect moses to the next level we don't even know what that level was we were just told that she was asked to look over him can i get some women in the church that you will develop an attitude to just look over the younger ones you will find a young woman and you will make her a mentee you will find a teenager you said by the grace of god i'm gonna look over this one my heart goes out for those who are backslidden those who have walked out of the church some of them have made mistake they got pregnant they had boyfriends they had relationship that were not right and some of the mothers of the church they didn't know how to do it they didn't know what to say they say bad things they say wrong things they say this is the church of god how come you are bringing this type of lifestyle in the church they didn't understand how to do it they didn't use the wisdom of god to know that those that win a soul is wise that you can bathe the baby with the mess without throwing away the baby what we need to do is to get rid of the mess get rid of the bad water but not the baby somebody need to help me to preserve the babies at the church there are young believers coming in some of them will come in as adults they don't know how to live they are babies they don't know how to survive they are babies but i need mature women can i get some miriam that will sit at the riverside and to protect the baby from their alligators from anything that will hurt the baby can i get somebody that will stand your watch jacob gave birth to a man to a child that became a man that she didn't even know who she was bringing forth miriam was given the responsibility to help watch over him but there comes another woman another woman she should not be seen close to the baby another woman politically economically socially she should not be even be close to that child because it is her father that has given out the law that this child should not be alive what could have come across miriam's mind when when she saw pharaoh's daughter and the maids having a fun on the river nile what do i do do i go and get him hide him in the reed the item in the bushes what do i do before you know it the babies start crying before you know it they bounce upon this basket and when they opened it the child cried more and as the child cried god touched the heart we don't know what her heart was like before but all we knew that the bible said o pharaoh's daughter heard the cry of the child and she had compassion i'm here to tell somebody that god can change the heart of the violent sinner god can change the heart of stone into a heart of flesh so we underestimate the power of god the greater part of the miracle is how god turned the enemy into your friend that god can make your foe become your ally do you hear me somebody i'm here to tell somebody stop worry about the problem stop sending up your blood pressure women of god you serve a god who never feels jesus never feel i serve a god his name is jehovah somebody give him a praise she said i need a nurse and miriam said oh i know where to get one and miriam ran and got moses mother jochebed to come so the mother became the nurse oh god so moses ended up in the in the house of the pera and was grown up in egypt in fear fearless house by his mother and she was paid she was not just being the mother of the child he was not just employed in fearless but she was not paid to grow her own child do you hear me somebody i'm here oh the story ends he said while moses was going to early childhood school and learning about his arithmetic is a is what we call all of the the type of lessons you learn at that stage um learning to to count and learning to spell my god his mother would have said to him you are a hebrew child you were born in a levite family you belong to a hebrew family this is your story it's interesting that moses was the one that about that history says wrote the book of genesis and exodus so he wrote his own story somebody need to write your story women of and father there are women who grew up with their grandmother and and some of you would despise your mother for that some people grew up with their with their stepmother he didn't have a choice because your mother went away left you with the father the father got another woman who had to help to bring you up and some of you were not treated well some are treated well some are not treated well somehow you grew up with your auntie some of you grew up yo with a stranger can i talk to somebody you did not have a choice in the matter what you must give god thanks for is that the devil could not kill purpose the devil could not stop you here you are today i'm alive today because of his grace tell the devil tell the devil satan when you had a chance to kill me you could not because god had his hand upon my life when you had a chance to get rid of me oh you could not because god had a child god almighty and a purpose for my life moses don't have a choice he end up in egypt nurtured by his mother who was also his nurse but guess who is his mentor pharaoh's daughter fairest daughter you don't choose your mentor you don't choose your mentor you don't choose sometimes the person will come alongside you and say come here i'm going to watch over you like like what they call it evil or like heart when i was growing up as a teenager i had two older sisters i had two older sisters who i used to see my mother play that role as like a ark over them um so when they started having relationship you know you started talking to guys in the church and guys started eyesighting you and sending little notes to you they didn't have cell phones then to the right they could notes and push it in your bible you remember those days [Laughter] some of you in the church long enough to remember those days when the guys were having an eye on you and push a note in your bible and you get home mama i have to search them bible day yeah mama of a certain bible and say oh what can i pay for this [Laughter] we gave our mother a name then back then she was called matron you know who's a matron matron run wards supervise the nurses because some of us as boys have to carry out some of the tasks so when when they when the other young men would have come to visit the house and they pretended that if they come to see my dad or they come to had a little time with us as younger boys we we knew the the trick that their highs were on our sisters but mommy would turn matron and run the wards because she was being careful as to who would talk to her girls do you hear what i'm talking about my all my sisters have turned out to be great women of god married to pastors some of them are are are doing exploit in the kingdom of god thank god for a woman of god that will look over our child or her daughters and said no devil from hell no slew foot no little um fly by night boy gonna get my child i'm gonna watch over her [Music] i need some arks in the church i need i need some matrons in the church and i need some i need some mature women to tell the young ladies that where they are you were there and they must rely on the holy spirit because the guy is going to come and say the lord says you are to be my wife but you must do what some person did just say if the lord says it just remember the lord and i are not embarrassed so if he says it to you i'm still waiting for him to tell me if when he tells me i'm ready but as long as it's only you talking about it wait your turn wait your turn oh for day that wait on the lord shall renew their strength i'm coming home i'm coming home i'm calling upon the women of god in the church can i find another jacobite oh who will be a woman of faith can i find another miriam who will be a woman who protects and watch over can i find the fairest daughter who will be moved with compassion and become a mentor to see to it that you get your best education your best development you will go to the best school can i get somebody will take time out just recently brother thomas when i learned about the evening institute and and that we are about to restart i became excited and what excites me even more is to recognize that there are still people in the church who will sacrifice time sacrifice resources sacrifice their their their money their treasure just to see somebody get on in life just to see somebody's life being improved they will sacrifice their time they will sacrifice their resources they will do their part just to make sure somebody is pulled up i challenge us ladies that's what this message is about god wants us to pull up some more persons who are down at the river night i feel the holy spirit says draw him out draw him out that was what moses name meant moses she was given the name moses because he was drawn out god held my soul small there's a woman in this church who need to be drawn out there are women in this church who need to be drawn up they are women in this church who need a savior who need a deliverer who needs somebody [Music] who will call their name somebody sacrificed their time they held me on their mind they went down on their knees and they prayed for me god is calling back next year oh sister morgan to have a hundred to have 200 will somebody avail yourself and say god i want to be that woman with the heart of compassion i hear the cry i hear the cry of abused women i hear the cry of women who are marginalized i hear the cry of women who are violently attacked day and night they feel ostracized nobody cared for them oh god i feel the pain and the hurt for somebody the cry this morning a nation is hurting a nation is crying our women are in trouble our children are in trouble oh god we pray today that your raids of godly women women of purpose women that will be disciplined to to seek you in prayer in fasting women o god of faith and courage oh god i asked that you would allow the spirit of resilience and faith and strength and power to be upon our women in the name of jesus i declare god almighty that we will not go under but we will go over lord that we will save somebody we will rescue the perishing here for the dying help us oh god lord remember that mother and christine nelson we want to pray for these persons but right here back home here in mapen there are persons who are bereaved and there are others who are needing our prayers and at this time i was going to believe god just believe god with me you know someone who is not well i'm reminded to be praying for sister campbell this is the veronica campbell who wanted us after a blood coverage be upon her and that god will cover her and bless her right now come on somebody agree with me you know someone right now that is needing a healing a deliverance a victory touch lord somebody's bereaved somebody's saddened yes lord reverend eugene gardner has been bereaved the lord and becomes now a widow it's very painful it's very difficult reverend christie nelson lord has lost a mother lord there are others back home here in maypen like the benjamins and the mullets yes lord and the macphersons those who have suffered lost and even those oh god who like brother uh morris
