reviews of the original version of this game um please do this is my first time i want to put it out this is my first time streaming a pc game from a pc so um if obs is playing a little bit weirdly or anything do you let me know i need to double check something there uh make sure that the screen is the right size it's resized my screen for some reason um so here we go this is this is like off to a fantastic start fan here we go look at this look how professional this is set this all up and then fun fact the game crashed when i plugged my headphones in so that's that's great um okay no not that one i want this one here we go there we go there we go there we go now let's see how we uh how little ellen fares with this um is is she gonna be okay is little ellen gonna be okay little ellen also has a huge game great great uh the audio doesn't play um while i'm in obs because i'm on a different screen i'm out of in a different window and so kingdoms of amla doesn't well re-reckoning doesn't like it i've done what have i done there i don't want to change that i don't want to remove that there we go this one there we go the game how is everyone doing in chat by the way um i hope you're all good um how many of you are excited about this game because uh despite despite my uh slight frustrations with it i am still very pleased that like kingdoms of amalera is getting some love again because oh my goodness i love this game so much um oh my goodness okay well look that that fits it fit before but now it's not okay video games everyone right how are you all doing i'm gonna i've got real issues with sound today um okay bring kingdoms and amelia down if i bring myself down i'll be a little bit quiet the stream will be a little bit quiet but now we actually have kingdoms of amla [Music] i had this all set up and then it crashed so yeah i'm trying i'm trying my best i'm trying my best um because it wasn't peaking i did a recording i did everything and it said all the levels were fine and then everything went because of course uh but welcome to everyone um i would like before we kick off we're gonna start a new game but i would like to kick off um with uh a fantastic example really of uh what this game is like for me personally uh and and just this is a re-master it's it's marketed as a remaster and the the game has had a little bit of a glow up um but it it's a little bit you have to look you have to really look so instead of doing our normal hey let's start from the beginning and see the cut scene in the game i've actually pre-prepared the the cut scene um [Music] and we're gonna watch it together okay so hopefully this will hopefully this will work okay so here from the beginning we were wrong and only now well into this [Music] [Music] what force might awaken of course powerful enough to twist even the eternal and the beautiful paper oh it's my but gadflow the new king of the winter court surprised us all singular among his people he was all that other faith or not aggressive apologies i have some notifications come true he had power like none we have ever seen terrible and deadly believed that a new god was to be born in the east beneath gadflow's crystalline fortress of amazon in the name of that god they marched to war against the young races like so they you can see against a mortal army no matter the power of that the real difference is but as our numbers dwindled we knew that it was only a matter of time our fate had been written at least that is what we believed until basically there's a big old war and then everything was you know destined to happen and then we died okay [Music] [Music] [Applause] um what do you think this one is done alpha could even be a children always a surprise egg around eyes on the job boy don't matter what you say well this is all happening yeah the game was crushed again and be thankful for that all we've seen go on and pull out the sheet one way or the other okay one of the human women looks our main to me and in good shape these almeid women wound tighter than a barrani crossbow all right then make sure your face looks a lot darker at points um which will be apparently like the next part um i find that sometimes with them i think we're done put her with the others like remasters when they kind of judge of a game they tend to just kind of like make the the darks darker to make it like a truer black better but it just makes everything darker and it kind of can sort of sometimes lose that like oh mystical glow um if you would like uh you know like more as well um i did actually write a review for a video game chronicle so if you search bgc um and kingdoms of amla my review will pop up um and it's fine um but like it's it's it's that thing of like it kind of just made it a bit darker uh there we go okay so let's see ha ha it's changed again because it crashed but now it will fit the window hooray it actually fits right um i have to do some uh finicky stuff to make sure that i get the sound as well um so how are you all doing how what did you what did you all think what were your thoughts on that because i i kind of felt i was a little bit opening up the game and seeing that i was a little underwhelmed so i just was a little bit you know a little bit right okay we should have we should have the music and hopefully it's not horrifically loud do let me know i i fiddled about with it um and yeah i i just my in my review i was kind of like they should have just most most remastered trailers show off um like the sort of thing uh hang on hang on here we go here we go i've got to make sure i'm in the right one okay it's not letting me switch across to my other desktop with my mouse so this is great um so like i can't get my mouse onto the game can i do pc people please help me because i am just completely stuck hello console noob here um i've just not oh okay i'll lower the game audio a little bit which is gone anyway hang on i will need to check it might be that my settings have the display in the wrong place that's why see yeah there we go there we go so i should be able to get across to it now come on settings don't right okay you should be there apply apply those settings okay this is the fun this is like twofold of uh this being the first time i'm streaming a pc game and also streaming a pc game that has really really really been um i need you to go across onto my other screen please do the thing that i asked you to do this is live live all going wrong here here we go like it the game because i've not changed my settings in my screens the the game has somehow managed to change my screen setting to be from side to side to move this screen on top without me changing any of the settings without removing any of the screens or anything okay have we got this game sorted now is this happening i think we're in that's yep we're in i can switch between screens and it's ah 20 minutes in we're actually going to be able to play so i have been playing a fair bit of this game i tried to like blast through the story open up as much of the map as possible so i could really have a nose around everything um let's make a new game like from the beginning we've seen this we've got i want it i know how do i get second how do i get conflict how do i escape yeah that's the fun thing i can't i can't skip it so we're going to watch this again but i'm just going to talk over it but yeah basically for those of you who don't know king's rambler and don't know why i'm like slightly obsessed with this game basically this game made the mistake of when it first came out of coming out uh like three or four months after skyrim okay and skyrim was a game that gamers and non-gamers like long games people who don't like play more than one game a year be like yeah i'll invest in that um and so you know people who are really really invested in gaming news and then people who just kind of know of video games in general all new skype so terrible this game had to compete against that because this is more like hey we're gonna go real in on the fantasy who are like a particular type of fae that have gone evil they're not called elves they're called faye that's that's the that's the other level they've like kind of given everyone slightly different names um we might have been victorious but i love it because it's creatures of magic basically it's so pretty and [Music] such a good combat system compared to so many other rpgs especially at the time and again uh it's very flexible so like you can really easily multi-class but then you can also switch between those classes and mid-game by going into a fate as our numbers dwindle and you undo it all and then you can rebuild your character however you want with all the points that you've already earned at least um so yeah you died it is fun uh katrin said also there were spiders in the skyrim trailer yeah that's the thing like there are spiders in this game but i can sort of deal with them because they look like crabs we should meet some in the the very first dungeon if i remember correctly um which is great uh so here we are this fingers crossed when the game actually starts to run because this is a pre-rendered uh cut scene uh the it was starting the frame rate was starting to chug i'm hoping that's just because it was trying to work run it in a window while also changing all of my pc settings yes it's running more smoothly now yes there we go it was really choppy and i was like oh i don't want to like make this game look really bad because the frame rate's better than it was though it'll need to be in our report one way or the other purple monkey dishwasher says spider crab spider crab it's a spider and a crab lovely um right so we have different races and uh i usually go for like varani or al main i think most of my characters have been almaine that i've made because yes i have tried various characters um so they each have bonuses to each of the different races that you pick um persuasion i think is always really good merchantile is also very good uh so i think i might actually go for like a docklafer lady um because i've never played a docklafer lady and also one of the main characters in this game that you or me and kind of befriend but also you kind of don't really know where her real loyalties lie is uh um alan shearer so like it could be like her like pals that hung out stealth is also fairly useful to have sage craft is kind of okay uh you make these special stones that you can put in weapons to make them more powerful um so yeah everyone's saying doklaphar yeah i'll go for doklaphar let's make a nice lady doctor far um so again you are also like there's different gods um and goddesses so you can have extra mana uh health and critical hit i would say i'm probably gonna go for very magicky person so like these ones the death is probably good if you're going for like pure rogue uh fate pure um magic obviously and then mischief is also kind of pure rogue as well i suppose like love is like what i would say for the tankier players i quite like uh oh the mana regen is quite good actually i did go for yeah i'll go for fate i'll go for fate because why not and it's it's lyric lyria is quite an interesting interesting god so let's go for fate and there's some different presets let's work on this preset let's go for preset one um you can change the different level of blue different shades of blue i quite oh i quite like yeah i quite like that one uh let's see the different faces all the faces are kind of presets within presets oh there's not many presets for this one she looks angry she looks bored she looks yeah okay with the default face yeah let's go with the default face um but the main thing let's eye color let's give her cool colored eyes oh we could go for orangey oh those are quite cool hmm are they ridiculously green should we get ridiculously green or like the ridiculously those are quite cool those are quite cool they're ridiculously blue or the red ones those are quite let's go for ridiculously green eyeshadow darkness always bring the eyeshadow darkness up and we'll go oh that's a nice purple because if you have green eyes wear purple eye shadow and it brings it out she does look like she's been punched in the eye so i'll bring down or maybe not make it so purple there we go um let's you don't really want to put purple eyeshadow underneath your eye that's my tip uh that's is that the same that's better that's a bit better is it should we give her some ridiculous lip hello yeah make her a goth there we go goth lipstick love it love it we'll bring down the intensity so you know she's not she's she's had her goth face but okay most important hairstyle this game has some of the best hairstyles although not the same hairstyle as the cgi hero in the trailer um not that hairstyle does not exist in this game um i could go for the the plaits like orca if you've not seen i'll previous oh that one's quite fun with the back bit there i'm always a big fan of the ponytails so there's a couple of ponytail options so there is this one it's because they have fringes and i'm a sucker for fringes so we have the smaller one or we have the ridiculous one and i i kind of love that i still that's still my favorite one let's different hair colors for it should we give her white hair like orca hell yes look look how cool she looks right accessories accessories sorry we've got to do this um everyone's like ellen we want to play the game but i want to show you all the customization options uh oh should we go for the spiky earrings hell yes yes you sadly i'm more of a silver jewelry person myself uh and you can't really no mohawks i think there are but not all it's really weird some of the hairstyles are tied to different races so basically in the cgi trailer she has like this kind of plait backwards plat but it's not quite a plot it's been like it's really cool it's the thing where you kind of like tuck the hair in um only one race in this game and it's one of the the pointy old like pointy eared elf based like dark left it's the the other one i can't remember off the top i heard right now even though i just read it earlier um um that they're the only ones who can actually have a plait down the back of their neck and i think it's to do with like kind of the different cultures within the game uh which i think is interesting i think that's a really cool interesting idea but it's also like what what that game that didn't exist okay okay oh all right here we go let's have a look at some tattoos that's orca's one i tend to go for the nice uh like leafy one i really like that one that one's quite fun that one's quite subtle because she's got the fringe um could go for something a bit more that one yeah very oh look like a batman villain or hero even i suppose she looked a bit catwomany but she's sort of like not really fully a villain i quite like that i quite like that i know just bring it down a little bit there we go perfect done looks like one of the duck off our women what am i saying all right then make sure it goes into the report you know he'll want all the details amazing how well the body held up better than i've seen i'm just glad it's not moving it's must have been born under a lucky star this one it's anything else we need unless you'd like to name her i think we're done i've got a green mug so it's disappearing here we go enter yeah okay uh good elf name can i get some good elf names in the chat gonna have to wait a little second because there's a delay um she seems pretty dead yeah it is the body i know but still you wouldn't you kind of babe yeah pay a bit more respect than it yeah should we just go yeah ilrin ellen wen elara lady elena nyla elfin yeah yeah jim i like jim that's a good one i've got an uncle jim um kayleth elephas freya elwyn i think i like elwynn actually because people are saying ellen but so like l win yeah that's like a mixture of ellen and merrell when and kind of because meryl went is my kingdoms of amelia nate like character's name because it's uh like tolkienesque um for uh rosetta [Music] there were so many like different ones but i like elwynn elwyn elman ellen nguyen oh poked her on the nose move that out of the way i mean there's probably not a worse place to wake up in the morning well no maybe i don't know it'd be a bit if yeah no no no i can't think of anything worse there's probably many things that are on par with it oh right i'm gonna try gary said did someone really suggest gary yeah gary is a great name there's not there's not enough people being called gary born right now that gary may become an extinct name and i don't think it'll go fully extinct it'll be like ellen is not a very common name so shout out to all the ellen's watching if you're there um but ellen used to be really popular during the victorian era um and especially along among the kind of like working class uh so there's a lot of victorian graveyards full of ellen's basically so here we are oh and everything is happening there's elwyn here we go so i've got to remember all my buttons what's this some notes formerous hues i wonder who that is i'm going to sneak around here because i know there's some stuff i know all the secrets at this beginning bit because i've played it a lot uh there's a few bats everywhere oh this is this is my favorite little touch just there you go whoop off he goes and here we are get that rusty sword a rusty long sword i know a rusty long long sword okay so we have new items it's going to tell me how to do it inventory weapons primary equip come at me bros or in luke westerway language everyone fight me at once oh wait let's see if this happens again this is great oh no she got stuck last time no not the two arthur hit these boxes because you get cash sometimes look at that whole 16 gold all right come here gonna fight some rats yeah yeah check you out oh no they're all having a big fight stay away no come straight there hit those hit those just oh just please don't fall around down around me please i've got to get all the coins this is a video game i've got to hit the barrels a child of dust help anybody all right i'm on my way from misery to happiness today right let's fight them okay dodge space is not jump because you cannot jump in this game you can only dodge you've lost interest in me for some reason oh now you're back again there you go wow there we go lots of boxes here give me one second dude i'll come help you but i've just got to hit all this stuff there we go hello thank you no worries no worries end cell i've seen you before yes you shoved me in a in a parachute not a parachute just in a shoot a regular shoot rubbish shoot that parachute would have been cool what happened to me died i don't know how or even where but your body was remade in the well of souls and somehow it worked okay restore your soul to your body and it works the enemies of all the young races so we are the young racers because we're not the fa the fae are eternal they die and then they're reborn there's a lot of kind of reincarnation style stuff happening there okay okay here is hughes who who is hughes are coming into the lower levels okay they'll help keep you safe long enough to get your shoes now let's get going okay okay i got some health potions great great okay so also though i should be able to lovely compare and equip that straight away um right this way you go fast right and then you have some battered armor compare equip that's the way to quickly equip things you can't equip things directly from when you pick them up uh in this version anyway um i cannot remember whether you could do that in the old game but it just seems like moving the mouse around seems extra i feel like this game was very much built for console in terms of the control system still works like great on pc when it doesn't crash but um in general i'm really interested to see what uh people who've played on pc the original game will think okay here we all go oh no call is floaty oh wow these guys have seen better days not keen on those weird moaning noises here we go lovely let's keep going let's have a little sprint okay okay there you go he missed that one okay get a shield come on yeah flimsy greaves that's junk i'm not going i'm not going to be a fighty fighty person i don't think it's got to get that one torn gloves let's equip those and then take all the rest of those hit that cat one gold one here we go here we go here's a kite shield there we go compare and then there we go do you hear something the people sing singing the songs of angry men come on come at me i've got time this right no too soon there we go [Music] the other one's just standing there there we go you kind of stun them and it means that you can get that thing okay oh bo yes pick that up inventory secondary a crude birch longbow make some very rude jokes at parties okay so switch between with the thing with the little scroller keep scrolling scrolling scrolling scrolling huh and then hit that awesome there we go there we go and that's one of the my favorite things is that your arrows just refill and you don't have to constantly worry about your arrow inventory because oh my goodness that could be such a pain in some of these games so um oh i can hear drums all right let's shoot them before they see us oh hey yeah i i know shooting arrows at me be patient with me game i have played this game many times before all right here we go here we go find a way out find a way out okay okay there we go let's see what's in here don't worry about tattered documents they will just uh like you can inspect it and you can't read it and it's pointless and they just fill up your inventory and then they they're worthless so yeah i found in this game if you find like interesting documents just read them there and then and just don't actually like pick them up because otherwise there we go i've learned how to block sir you fool we were just given the tutorial for this um i can't remember how much the rusty plate legs actually sell for i love the thing that anything is rusty it just sounds like a nickname it's like oh that's rusty plate legs yes here we are oh no oh gnome i should say if you like uh gnome-based puns uh perhaps okay yeah okay okay perhaps you will enjoy our last doc's venture uh it happened a couple of weeks ago um that was that was a lot of fun we met some gnomes and it was great uh okay here we go if you can sneak up on them you should be able to finish quickly all right quiet good good good the stealth kills in this game are a lot of fun to watch as well yes girl yeah okay let's get those like that junk now let's get behind these guys here sneaky sneak a mistake of the gods okay okay you didn't spot me ah you did because no me boy when stood in front of you that's what i'm going to blame it on anyway it wasn't me wasn't me choosing the wrong one they were stood next to each other all right boots there we go look at all the plants reacting cave blossoms only respond in the presence of magic okay i'm magical i'm so fabulous okay pick up spider memo so there's some spiders let's not worry about taking that note whoever comes back after look at that look at it it's horrible but fortunately they kind of just oh i i will say the fact that my mouse and keyboard means that i can't like back away from the screen is also not a great feature pc gaming uh with my setup some people have bigger desks and that they're fine but my setup is a lot more limited okay i want to look in here first because there's a little little chest here let's get that see there's that the hand wraps are for like magical things i should have put those in my jug there we go there's the spiders there they are there we go but like they kind of because they've got like weird crabbiness like they're like armored so they're not as the and the way they walk it it's it's not as spidery like the skyrim spiders frostbite spiders no um right so we have to equip the stuff to get through this bit here we go see what you can i'm so used to always having my bows my secondary weapon because i play very roguely maybe you can use that stuff yes yes look way ahead of you way ahead of you sir um burn them no i didn't need to dodge that way got poisoned there we go oh there is one there okay didn't spot you done um but yeah i tend to switch between um oh wait enjoy this horribleness you can get old shoes exciting um i wouldn't normally advocate burning spiders like i don't want spiders anywhere near me um oh my goodness of course she died right in the bit where i had to burn uh there we go hello hello giant spider yes there we go there we go there we go hit you on the nose it's like a shark you hit them on the nose although they don't have noses so mandible what whatever goes all right all right just let me loot things ah hang on take all of them there we go uh all right three whole golds oh no no i'm not too arthur this is oh it's the camera the weird camera angles again um okay i need more help let's see if i win at this 95 i suppose yeah persuasion is useful also there's an achievement tied to it if you're that sort of person uh yeah oh my goodness huh where is hughes okay okay okay okay you're the most valuable thing in his world all right all right so here we also have some more weaponry so if we kind of want to choose our favorite things so there's some like this is like if you've missed anything um so i've got battered armor and worn leggings on so if i can't wait hang on let's go back so i've got batadarma worn leggings and it's sort of like this is like your final chance to kind of like pick your initial stuff but you honestly you stumble across this stuff so much but it's just in case you've lost anything which i think is a nice you know oh always pick up the repair kits oh my goodness because your armor your weapons they all degrade uh not to the extent the um there we go the uh other hang on did i pick up any robes though no i don't think i got any ropes well i'll take those and they'll probably sell for nothing but hey so well let's let's have a quick look let's have a quick look at our differences uh to give you an idea so there's there's uh there's your ropes so if you're a magic if you're pure magic you don't need much armor you just wear that uh but if you're uh a rogue person you kind of want more there you go and they're in two pieces robes wear the whole thing um i have cooler armor to show you later so i won't show you the armor one is that nanny henry where is she yeah no aura henry oh she must be her sister or something oh cousin or something yeah right okay so map where we at we need to go that way there we go there we go oh this this looks cool and not at all oh not at all against the laws of nature right what's happening here books everywhere there's the recreated 90 95 97.5 at the time um any missing limbs or extra fingers are now probably just how the subject originally looked uh rather than a magical flux on our end however full reviving river revivification revivication revivication still eludes us so wonder what that means so they're able to bring bodies back what about the souls the well of souls here we go look at that beard you've made it what was that noise even with all you've been through did you hear that your return from the dead heavy noise terribly confused by all of this yes terribly confused and this is my laboratory at alistar everything you see here is dedicated to one thing this is like luke's brother's voice the pursuit of immortality and you you're my first success if we only had the time there's so much we might learn from one another what's going on right now the two authors have come to stop my work but i don't believe they know about you not yet what's important is getting you out of here safely you're the only proof of what we've achieved here okay i may not be able to save the well but i can ensure that it's only success is safe yeah everyone there's the weird grunting i don't i've never heard that before so maybe though okay let's get out of here i want to show you some more of the rest of the game because it's nearly five o'clock so we're we're late because it the game crashed several times at the start simply astounding i'm not certain what's caused it but somehow oh yes as i was saying i'm not sure what perhaps i should go see sir sir mr hughes the two of you have reached the lab that inside oh no no we've got to get you out of here now quickly follow the path to the if you like banjo-kazooie the guy did this music [Music] yes legend ah right here we are hey now we're in all the star tower get your game on come play kingdom of america i'm sorry i'm sorry so we need to go up i'm guessing yes i'm guessing whoa the map system isn't the clearest in this game sometimes so i'm gonna make sure i've got to the right i don't know whether other people with tiny hands uh have this problem in uh pc gaming but i often find that there we go there we go burn them uh my hands don't fit to the keyboards very well like i feel like i have to like really stretch my fingers around to reach certain bits and that's a real issue for me uh do other tiny handed people have the thing i'm sorry not sorry i'm not i'm not sorry you're right you are you all deduced correctly uh although i wouldn't recommend going to concerts right now just saying uh right here we go here we go healing potion didn't do you any good you should have used it oh here we go right right i want get into my uh or shall i yeah i'll try i've never actually thought this guy this troll with let's also make a new save you can see how many i've already put 20 hours into this game that's a tenth of what i've played in my other game here we go his big rock troll i think it's rock troll there's a few different variations now he's resisting the fire somewhat [Music] now oh you've got to time your dodges really well with this because they can like you know how in football uh oh i wanted to dodge but i was in the middle of an attack with my thing okay so out out out right i might actually have it i'm gonna switch because once i get into like a little roll with the stuff it doesn't let me kind of cancel out of that so i'm gonna go with the speed of the daggers you have to kind of get up close but i'm gonna come on at the troll at the troll so they with football sorry as i was saying they they kind of aim where you're going rather than where you were the ai in this game is a little bit more clever than a lot of other ones so let's get some magic see like you've really got to time it well [Music] it kind of resists magic a lot of the time as well they're not they're not that's all right see he's not as bad with that as he is with and like you can kind of stun lock him a little bit with the daggers because they're so fast let's oh i was yeah i got did the same thing with the daggers as it did with the thing oh that's fine that's not too much over here there we go oh there we go f f in chat mouse two the whole 75 extra xp on top of that and that is a reckoning move it is a fate weave i believe is the correct term for the actual thing right squires ring you get extra health equip that so you have some little extra accessories that you can get and then you can like walk straight through them as well still it's not really much [Music] that has been changed there but oh wow right here we are look at this just these rooms are just quite pretty um although i will say like if i run like the default camera you don't see much of up uh like because of the way the cat the the the camera is always angled i think they should have angled it there a little bit more so that the floor is kind of on the horizon um rather than it kind of ends up there most of the time um and it means you just kind of miss a lot of the environments that that's that's one thing i would have changed with a remastered person it's a bit harder to do in pc but in in xbox like i always felt like i was nudging uh the camera up to try and like see the world because look at this place that can't go back in there but look look how pretty this world is and like you want to see it but you're just kind of looking at it like that most of the time oh we've levelled up we've got to get to gorhart now we could sit here and chat to all of these people but probably um right so what i would recommend is right at the beginning probably detect hidden because it means that you pick up more things when you pick up more gold when you find things like when you kill things and you find some more like once you get to there uh hidden treasures are displayed on the minimap so you find the extra things right beginning which is quite good um so yeah also merchandise is always always helpful um but detected and at least gets you that initial gold fairly easily so here we have the skill trees i'm gonna be here for the next 45 minutes while i explain all of them don't worry don't worry we're not going to do that we're not going to do that i won't do that to you all um but basically so might is kind of your tanky sword and shield finesse is your rogue sorcery is your mage your magic person um so i tend to invest heavily in sorcery and finesse but mike's got some fun stuff as well but also at the same time don't panic okay with these because um you can change your mind later on you go to a fate weaver because you are the fateless one and you can change your fate which means you can just undo everything you get all your skill points back and you can reinvest them however you want uh it becomes more expensive the more times you do it it's like 10 000 gold and then it goes up by 10 000 each time from what i remember um but it just gives you that flexibility and also by like in one of my saves i have like two million coins so because i just invested heavily in blacksmithings just you just get all the best gear and you sell really good things okay so i'm going to um make my daggers better um and should i get to add some rogue or shall i go for sorcery i think i'll increase i'll increase uh all chakrams that's good and gets a special thing for chakrams um right so i've only you get three points per level so i'm gonna increase my bows that and then i might actually increase that and then you you level up quite quickly in this game at the start so yeah let's do that we'll increase our rogi stuff um and then the next one will increase all our sorcery so i think we've done become a knight blade um and then finesse and sorcery i my main character is a shadow caster which is so cool but it like really just like adds a bunch of things um i love the poison blink it turns like so first you learn blink so you kind of like instead of just rolling it's like push and it's like blink a little bit in uh dishonored so right what did you see see the threads around you but they're shifting changing so rapidly [Music] and basically like all the possibilities in the universe but in one and i use those cards to see your pattern in the way yeah but it just didn't happen footage okay look at how they have done that okay someone has designed this so that you look through and the tree fits in beautifully in the arch there and then as you walk through you kind of see oh there's something raw a little bit wrong but it's sort of hidden a little bit there until you look through and then aha look there's this there's the the tower um but like i didn't notice that in the original game uh because i played on xbox and you kind of have to manipulate the camera a lot to be able to see stuff um even with this you can't look directly up um and yeah it was like looking for i was looking for places where i could like show some comparison shots um and like only through taking the time to actually look at the game that in both games i saw that that was there and it was just like man it's amazing the difference that one like camera angle doing that really ah and i spotted some reviews of the original game also noted that and i'm like yeah because like the ground textures are nice it's fine now here's the law stone so we can learn about law and here is a chest which doesn't have a lid on it which is a a thing that i've seen a lot so compare so if there's a lot of weird names uh basically if it's green it's very common if it's white it's super common um hand wraps of ice shield means you've got ice resistant so they've got like some when you're blacksmithing um it kind of comes up with some auto-generated names that are kind of based off of their naming things so hand wraps of ice field means you get a bit of ice resistant but also you've got armor socket that's where your sage craft comes in that you can build gems that have additional bonuses that you can slot into your armor so that's pretty good 10 minute regen per second the main one you really want is health regen um i might add you to the junk for the moment because yeah but these tell you an irish accent the gnomes are scottish but i don't know where in scotland they're supposed to be from um apologies for like actual irish people watching this is me be doing my fake irish accent because i can't do a decent irish accent she is the heart of spring and i don't know whether anyone in this original voice acting cast kid but it's kind of forgivable the irish accent is slightly more forgivable than the scottish one because the scottish one is i met one and i was like oh you're from like minnesota you ain't from scotland uh but it's endearing it is endearing and i wasn't expecting to have changed all the voices or anything in this game at all at all um but i hope for the expansion that if they have gnomes that they do actually have scottish accents that would be great and i know it's not technically real scotland it's a fake world but they've obviously done it after a scottish accent i hate it where people like oh but it's not actually scotland it's a fantasy land yeah but where do you think they've based that accent from okay right let's do a side quest look he's with some good weaponry uh to help you um just give you a little bit of a a boost at the beginning of the game they're like extras from various other like dlcs and bonus things that you got for these are all the twists of fate that you get like the little bonuses you got for all the extra things so harbinger two percent xp game while in reckoning mode cool so those are the two there okay like they just like bought out like all of it and they were like can we just still have that please because yeah it was a tie-in with mass effect 2 or 3. i can't remember which one uh because i played this around the same time that i played mass effect 2. um but yeah so chakrams are quite good we could do lightning let's take those uh physical fireplace oh actually twin soles that's quite good omniblades and face needles increase of reckoning duration or maybe we'll equip those for the moment and then fate's curve is a slightly better bow than the one that we have right now lovely um you could go for like oh fate scours take those definitely well let's uh wear this nice finesse set and there's a little bit of mix over in the music um oh no yeah imminent leggings yeah equip and then imminent rest compare okay what's that is that one better yes that yeah that's dusty spiral is much better like like this this is one we've already got and this one we're looking at um that doesn't have the additional five thread fate so yeah let's stay with the other one um oh what's the hunter hunter is a car that is easy to misinterpret for fake weave as often the hunter refers not to the one who pulls the card but another person or event in their lives the hunter is often thought to indicate danger from an unknown source i think that's a big like staff maybe or is it a bow is it a bow yeah piercing yeah and it's slightly better it's got extra poison damage let's try the poison damage but yeah there's a whole this is all like the random extra things the running man amazing uh the wind the night the field the song there's oh there's so much stuff here so like you basically when you're in first and gohart you've got like a little booster of things that oh wow oh wow look at the the forest uh maybe fight some things along the way and get to our next main thing i would love to go on the quest that we're currently sort of on um but hopefully we'll find a greater healing potion on the way uh the recipe for trouble is the one like you're ideally you go for that one you get distracted do the recipe for trouble then she gives you some greater healing potions as a thank you and then you go finish that thing but in recipe for trouble i had uh crashes twice so these are also the dlc's that are also included but we want to go into the light there we go here we go so let's go of fate which gives you an extra bonus as well so these are all these like just little extra things at the beginning so i can't change that items here we go here we go here we go compass of fate plus one persuasion so it helps you be more persuasive which is good and this one will help you find uh thing that'll show up things on the map so uh hang on on the local map so look i can see all the stuff here so like you can have an idea of on the map where stuff is that hasn't been recently stuff so there was a load of stuff here that i harvested recently um but there's a whole bunch up here so it just just shows things on your map um and uh let's take the inspiration and get 500 experience points there we go look look at that winning way oh and we've leveled up so what i'm going to propose here is i don't really want to invest in uh might um but i would like to show you the armor so let's just go blacksmithing confirm let's just put three points in might uh okay so snag an enemy uh let kill this guy as well you have to change this because this is a thing where you can kill the person if you want to i was sent to find my men and i were ambushed when we entered the cave the damn spiders set a trap for us that's my ideal world tactics simple ones but enough to overwhelm us i think thank you everyone i did it i was like i'll show you all it's horrible prince could be the bloody widow for all i know but that's one thing i'm glad that they didn't do like too much with like through the you know swings and roundabouts of like not completely like really like re-judging all of the graphics is at least the spiders don't look as spidery as some things like they could have been like let's make the spirals all hairy and horrible right garina has betrayed you of course it was need to tell camerock what has happened here and deal with garina i have to hurry speak with me after we reach canaroc okay speak with me please speak with me please please speak with me right um i think we can run back out that way or we can run around there's a few uh there we go burn that through there's some like bits here that we can get there kind of nicer decaying longbow add you to junk because you'll be very nice to some elm scepter might be quite good with some ice damage um what you can do is you can break down these things into their core components in uh blacksmithing and uh that includes like that's good take all minor experience booster lovely so we can go around this way and just like uncover more of the thing or run through where we've already been [Music] oh they're slightly better but again uh boots of the ice shield see it's like basic but like these aren't the highest ones but at the moment i'm getting some benefits from them so i'll keep them on for the time being add those to my junk here we go here we go there's going to be a big fight here isn't there there we go yeah i dodged i pressed dodge oh good hit i should i shouldn't be hitting you though i find the controls a little bit but you really have to be like facing on otherwise it randomly auto goes to someone that you don't think or don't die like spiders like venom spitters not even proper spiders come on no where was that too so yeah contracts can be a little bit finicky with the camera um mana is low i won't do that no i can't burn through there okay i'm going through that though oh i can't even go that way it's a dead end that's great so okay well fulcrum that will help me build something ruthless longbow not better than what i've got already but i can sell it shadow reach hello let's equip you didn't find you when i came out see like the the spawning of uh goodies is a little bit random so yeah and yeah the other thing is sometimes there's backtracking in this game so some dungeons will uh open up what did i know some will open up a little quick way out for the end of it so you can just like leave and you'll be like cool i'm out um and others nope like you have to just walk back where you came from and it can be really annoying when you've like you're just walking past everything that you've already killed but you're just having to run and it's a little bit of a pain and that's something that they could have changed but they didn't so hang on have i gone the wrong way yeah i have oh my gosh ah no no no just no bye no no no not right now there's nothing i love more than dead spiders bodies it's great yeah right here we are here we are yes there we go up we go swirly swirls out of my nightmare let's go back to canner rock and call that a day so let's fast travel so we don't have any more surprises that'd be great min max so there are shortcuts but only sometimes oh yeah like it's like occasionally uh save your oh yeah i'll do i'll do a manual save um but like you get uh auto saves as well so go on there we go yes i want to override there we go i've saved there you go um but sometimes autosave isn't brilliant um and i once missed i like the game crashed and i i lost 15 minutes of progress which was a bit annoying no actually i lost half an hour progress which was more annoying so that's when i learned i had to save more often than in my 360 version anyway right let's talk to barton oh great and you're welcome to gossamer end three house villas a day the town blacksmith will make repairs if you need them for his treasury i have banished Watching this stream basically convinced me to not get the game. It doesn't look like a remaster.
