chose yeah I just I really like pirates and I wanted to play a stealthy character because that's usually have played video games so rogue seems to be the best choice for that and human because I was sort of imagining by quite a vain sort of stupid pirate it wouldn't be as funny if he was like a cool fantasy race so I'm imagining himself clowning around with all these amazing wizards and warlocks and Dragons and he's just like he thinks he's the best one because he's got an amazing coat and hat ya know and I had a good time by writing the backstory and it was quite hard not to reveal any of that for the entire first I like elves I think they're cool I like the whole fact that they're mixed in with nature and I wanted to do a character that could do a bit of magic that was not only useful in combat but also in other weird situations so the idea of changing into a wild animal looked quite fun to me and then I could be a cat and really useful I was like no no your cat's adorable but they're like a good size to get into smaller spaces that we can't what about you I chose I picked Dobb because I really liked orcs I don't know why all the fantasy races have always been drawn to orcs I think it might be like a World of Warcraft kind of hang up thing I have I just think they're really cool I like the thought of being being kind of like Noble and sort of misunderstood a little bit and also yes I settled first on a walk I remember and then I was reading there's like a D&D character create a helper guide thing and it was like orcs are often like solitaire or if you choose a half walk because it's like there's probably like a reason that they're not welcome among humans or orcs so they haven't think about that and so yeah so that's how I got the idea of like living him table having grown up like alone in the woods with his sister I like the idea of him being like a like a survival unit doesn't have to do much absolute unit absolutable in the woods but that was actually like a character starting point I was like I want him to like basically live yeah in the woods and he's always happiest like in the hills and he was really like the contaminants and stuff so in my sort of head Canon he's not actually all that used to people even though he applies his trade as an entertaining nice it's compelling and rich yeah so the answer is we thought about it loads much yeah
