continue in that spirit of worship as we take of the lord's supper this adon and if you haven't already collected your elements those of you that are joining us online we're going to give you a few moments as we prepare to grab the juice or the wine and the bread and and we'll take those together in just a few moments as we prepare our hearts for the lord's supper tonight in deuteronomy chapter 6 moses tells the people of israel as they're standing there on the bank of the jordan getting ready to go over into the promised land he says the day is going to come when your children are going to ask you why are why do we have all these stipulations and regulations and laws and when they ask you this you're to tell them this we were slaves of pharaoh in egypt but the lord brought us out of egypt with his mighty powerful hand and he brought us into the blessing of his promise into their inheritance the physical inheritance of the promised land and the spiritual inheritance of their relationship with god deuteronomy 6 23 says but he brought us out from there and to bring us in brought us out to bring us in and to give us the land that he promised on oath to our ancestors this event gives us a vivid picture of how god has delivered each and every one of us but it also gives us a picture of how god works he doesn't just bring us out for the sake of bringing us out of sin and slavery he brings us out to bring us into something into our inheritance into ongoing and growing relationship with him into the physical inheritance that he's given each one of us to possess what this means for us beyond the obvious of god's deliverance and salvation from sin and into the life that we have is this standing here today in 2020 and as we're looking forward into the future with lots of question marks in that future and in spite of the situations and the circumstances that surround our lives is this un lying undeniable truth that god has a specific and a generous plan for each one of those that is following him and walking in relationship with him that that he's brought us into an eternal inheritance into that hope set a different way standing here today looking forward we have an immense hope a hope that acts as a fuel for our spirits motivating us forward day by day in spite of the circumstances and the situations giving us a power to live in the day and the hour in which we live peter echoes some of these words in the first chapter of first peter he says for you know that it was not with the perishable things such as silver and gold that you were redeemed from that empty way of life that that life without any hope you weren't redeemed with those perishable things that was that empty way of life that was handed down to you from your ancestors but you were redeemed he says with the precious blood of yeshua the messiah a lamb without blemish and without defect he was chosen before the creation of the world but was revealed in these last times for your sake through him peter says you believe in god who raised him from the dead and glorified him and so your faith and your hope are in god because of yeshua because of his spilled blood that redeemed us out of sin and slavery out of bondage and into this enormous promise of hope and hope of promise we are well able as god's people to face the day because that we have this hope fueling everything that god has called us to do and to be we have that hope for these extraordinary days as the worship team comes again we prepare our hearts to take of the lord's supper we want to grab hold of that hope and fully embrace the power it gives us acknowledging yeshua's redemption that opens the doors for us to live powerful hope filled lives we'll take of the communion in just a moment [Music] oh [Music] she [Music] foreign [Music] [Applause] she [Music] i will go across [Music] i don't know [Music] [Music] my [Music] [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] is [Music] [Music] me foreign [Music] [Music] [Applause] is bye [Music] she [Music] [Applause] [Music] she we take of the lord's supper it's a reminder to us that we don't have to face the days that we're in in in any case the circumstances that are a part of our lives without hope the communion the lord's supper reminds us that we have a hope an immense hope a powerful hope that fuels us forward moment by moment situation by situation into the future a bright future that god holds for us as his children and it's all wrapped up in this dinner that we take this supper that we take of tonight because of what yeshua did for us matthew reminds us that while yeshua and his disciples were gathered around the table that passover dinner that last supper of yeshua before his crucifixion while they were eating yeshua took the bread and he held it up in front of his disciples and he said blessed are you lord our god you are the king of the universe that brings forth the bread from the earth and then he broke it and he gave pieces to each one of his disciples and he said to them take and eat of this bread this is my body that he is going to bring hope into your life this is my body broken for you to give you hope when the world around you is hopeless this is my body that's going to give you that hope that life that there's more to live for than the the here and the now and lord we thank you for the body broken for us thank you for your bread the bread of life that gives us life moment by moment situation by situation giving us hope to face the day and to do it with boldness and confidence in you in yeshua's name let's take then yeshua took the cup the third cup the cup of deliverance and he held it up and then he blessed are you lord our god you are the king of the universe that brings forth the fruit from the vine and then looking at his disciples he said this is my blood the blood of the covenant which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sin yeshua thank you for this blood poured out for us that gives us hope for the future that erases our sin and our transgressions and our failings that gives us hope to face the day when we can't see the answers we don't know what the road's supposed to look like we don't know where our feet are supposed to step because of your spilled blood we have hope we know we can step forward in faith believing you for the days to come so we embrace that hope tonight in yeshua's name let's take amen god thank you for your blood and your body broken and spilled for us we celebrate and remember today because it does it gives us that hope for the day and the hour in which we live we love you in yeshua's name we pray amen amen well we have several things taking place in the community we want to make you aware of we're going to look at a everyone tonight um we're excited to dive into the word of god after that wonderful time of worship and that intimate moment when we take the lord's supper i often remind our team and our community that the lord's supper this is the pinnacle it's the high point of the new covenant theology where all that has been prophesied about the messiah is coming true during the god-appointed festival season he's revealing himself to be the redeemer the savior the blood atonement the passover lamb all of it's coming together in that moment and that's why we treat it so carefully and with such attention so thank you pastor mike for doing that for us tonight and leading us through it and thank you to all of our team here i want to just especially thank the production team uh the the sound team the the cameras that allow us here in jerusalem to bring a worship service and the word of god to you tonight wherever you're watching around the world we know that there are almost 40 different countries uh joining us tonight so welcome those of you watching on kings community live facebook live and youtube live and maybe you're watching on some other platform we don't even know about maybe somebody shared it with you we're so happy you're here with us in jerusalem tonight go ahead and grab your bibles and turn to the book of hebrews and put your other finger in the book of romans we're going to look at hebrews and romans off the bat tonight you know pastor mike was giving us a message of hope and i don't know what's going on in your particular country but i want to give you an update about what's going on here in israel right now we are still under restrictions and we are limited to a maximum of 10 people meeting in one space that's why you see us shifting and moving in in one room at a time so we'll have 10 in this room and then the team will move off and another a group of people will come in to serve you tonight we're trying to be faithful to that limit into that regulations trying to be a good example for everybody but we also know that there's unrest in the world today there's unrest everywhere and it hasn't escaped us here in israel over a hundred thousand people protested this week i don't know if you read about this they're protesting all kinds of things from what they don't like about the prime minister to the to the economics to the jobs to the businesses closing to how we're handling covid19 uh they've got everybody's got a different opinion on what should be done and and their patience is running thin and we're here to bring hope tonight hope to a world that doesn't have it light to a world that's walking in darkness and to people losing their patience with one another losing their peace we want to introduce them to the prince of peace tonight and we're going to do so through his word we're going to start a new series tonight and it's entitled faith and faithfulness and i want to let you know as a background where this came from this this is not coming from a book or a study or someone else's sermon i saw online this is coming from something that the lord has been doing in my heart very personally through this whole lockdown period the lord has been doing some some issues and some heart issues with me he's been doing some operation things inside of me now i've been in what felt like a season of great faith and a season of great hope and trying to share hope with those that don't have it i've been encouraged and i i hope that you've been encouraged by connecting with your community here at king of kings but tonight i want to present to you for a few moments a lesson that the lord taught me and i'd never seen this in the word before but he taught it to me and i'm going to build up to that toward the end of the sermon but let me lay the groundwork first and then we're going to use tonight as a launching pad for the next several weeks to study the book of james because it's going to follow that consistent pattern of faith and faithfulness and we're going to take that study of james all the way up until the chagim until the the fall festivals of the lord russia yom kippur and sukkot so during this time i mentioned last week that the most common question we're getting as pastors right now is what do i do what do i do do i pray more do i study the word more do i obey the laws do i not obey the laws do i watch more tv turn the tv off do i fast do i eat double i lean into the eat double side but some of you lean into the fasting side that's because you're more spiritual than i am but the biggest question we get is what do i do and and so an easy spiritual answer is friends you trust in the lord and you have faith and you might say well yes we we agree with that and we thank you for that that wonderful advice but can you tell me pastor chad what faith looks like it's hard to it's hard to grab faith what does it look like what am i looking for well our launching text tonight is from hebrews chapter 11 verse 1. a very foundational scripture about faith it says now faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen you see it's it's there you're hoping that it's there in your mind's eye it's there it's the evidence before you can see something but even that leaves you with a sense of well i'm hoping in something that's not there yet and so it's hard to grab faith what does faith look like i want to teach you tonight that there's a difference between faith and faithfulness they can oftentimes get confused because of their root word faith and faithfulness but can i introduce this to you that faith begins by believing what god has said to be true that's where faith begins faith begins by believing in what god said is true salvation works this way we've received salvation from god through the work of yeshua we're told to have faith in his work in his death in his blood and his sacrifice we took the elements tonight because of that faith but we believe when god said i am your savior we believe that so faith begins with believing what god said is true eternal life works that way you haven't seen eternal life eternal life is kind of hard to to grasp and it's not just a destination is it john gave us some word pictures in revelation and daniel gave us some word pictures the prophets gave us some word pictures of what a heavenly place might look like but that doesn't describe eternal life that's a place eternal life is a thing it's an element but eternal life works this way that we receive it we have faith in it because we believe in what god said is true we believe there is eternal life in yeshua look at the book of romans chapter 4 verse 11 and 12. i want to introduce our patriarch abraham here a man of great faith and romans tells us that abraham received the sign of circumcision as a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had while still uncircumcised that he might be the father of all those who believe though they are uncircumcised that righteousness might be imputed to them also and that the father of circumcision to those who not only are of the circumcision talking about the jewish people but also who walk in the steps of faith which our father abraham had while still uncircumcised let me break that down in case it was a little bit confusing abraham's faith was counted as righteousness for him because while he believed what god said was true and god said i'm watching you believe my words and because i'm watching you believe my words i'm going to count that as righteousness for you and so abraham's faith was counted as righteousness and he believed it even before he was circumcised he believed that long before there was a sign or a symbol or even a covenant came into being he believed god's word was true god's covenant for abraham came into existence because when god said i'm going to offer you a covenant even before it started abraham believed the covenant and that level of faith was counted to him as righteousness he's being described here as the father of all who have faith so if you have faith tonight you are in the spiritual offspring of abraham same chapter verse 16 romans 4 therefore the promise comes by faith so that maybe by grace it may be guaranteed to all of abraham's offspring not only to those who are of the law talking about the jewish people but also to those who have the faith of abraham talking about maybe non-jewish believers because he is the father of us all and so abraham is leading us in the idea of what faith is you hear god you believe what he said is true and that's faith faith can't happen without those steps adam had faith enoch noah abraham moses all of these patriarchs had great faith they believed god's word long before there was something tangible in front of them there was no tabernacle yet there was no temple there was no written torah by most of these guys lifetimes there was nothing tangible in front of them and yet they believed god's words they believe them to be true and that is faith but can i put something in front of you tonight that may challenge you a little bit this idea implies that something has been spoken to you in order to believe god's words and thus have faith god first has to have words you ever think of faith that way in order to have faith in god's words god has to have words before you believe what he said he has to have said something and abraham is credited as a man of great faith but you know abraham was told what to do he was told what was going to happen he was told the covenants that would come in front of him and genesis 15 verse 6 reminds us and then abraham believed the lord and he credited it to him as righteousness he said leave your extended family leave your homeland go to canaan i'm going to give you a promised child of isaac i'm going to give you a special land of the covenant i'm going to make the messiah come through your line you're going to be the father of a nation the people abraham had several encounters with god he knew god's voice he recognized god's appearance and he responded by believing whatever god told him as if it were true this is abraham's faith as a matter of fact we know that abraham had several encounters with god if you go back to genesis and read it and especially the time where god came to abraham and he had lunch together with him it said that abraham in the heat of the day was sitting at the entrance of his tent and from afar off there were three men coming we later know that two of them were angels one of them was the lord the angel of the lord as he's described there and it says that abraham looked up and he saw him and he ran to him and you don't run to a stranger you run to someone you know abraham knew the lord he knew him by voice he knew him by word he knew him by appearance and in order for abraham to have faith in what god said god had to have said something and there's our first key phrase tonight the prerequisite of faith is god speaking now remember i'm teaching you the difference between faith and faithfulness tonight it's going to make a lot of sense but the prerequisite of faith is god speaking back into the book of hebrews chapter 11 verse 3 for a moment by faith we understand that the universe was formed at god's command so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible we have faith in creation we have faith in god's word but notice god commanded god said something and it happened and that's the faith pattern we hold on to hearing the word of the lord hearing a promise we then have to make a decision on whether or not to believe that promise or not friends god has made promises to all of us tonight i guarantee you he's made promises to everybody who's either in the house or watching online tonight god has made promises to every single one of us and it's up to us whether we're going to be like abraham and believe the promise or not god cannot make you believe it he can only tell you the truth and you make the decision to believe or not you have the decision to put your faith in god's spoken word or not romans 10 verse 17 reminds us consequently faith comes from hearing the message and the message is heard through the word about messiah yeshua it goes back to our premise the prerequisite of faith is that god is speaking how can you have faith in something you haven't heard and this helps us to shape a very important point about what faith is and what faith is not faith is the substance of the things hoped for the evidence of things not seen but only in line with what god has told you faith is not putting your hope in something you want when god hasn't told you that's not faith you can call it hope you can call it crossing your fingers you can you can call it wanting it really badly but it doesn't mean it's faith something doesn't even cross the line into the realm of becoming faith until god has spoken first and then and only then can something be faith now god can speak in many different ways god can speak audibly in a matter of fact pastor mike and i were talking about our discipleship semester coming up and when we were laying out their classes for this fall we like to look back at the classes we've covered recently and one of the classes we talked about to tonight before the service was the 12 ways to hear from god god can speak in many ways not just 12 but he can speak in many ways but the prerequisite of faith is that god is speaking and he's spoken to every one of us many times i remind you also that in the passage we read from romans chapter four it mentions the phrase but who also walk in the steps of faith can i point out to you tonight that faith is is not just believing in your head it's not just believing in your heart maybe it's not just saying that you believe something it's walking in the steps of faith you see faith has to have feet to it faith has to have hands to it faith has to be an action that we do we don't just believe that gravity works we we build our life around the fact that gravity works well somebody told us that it works and so we we believed that we had principled faith that gravity works but there's a reason i'm not jumping off this platform right now because i believe that gravity works and therefore my actions are dictated by my faith and it says in romans 4 that the man who has faith has to walk in the steps of faith abraham didn't just quote have faith no he was told something and then watch what he did abraham did something about it abraham was told to go to canaan abraham believed god's promises but he also walked in the steps of faith by going to canaan and now we introduce this interlocked meaning or understanding that abraham did not just have faith in believing god's word abraham had faithfulness in walking out god's word there's a difference in those two things you might believe it in your head but until you really believe it it never shows up in your feet as a matter of fact i like to often times mention the difference between hebraic faith and greek faith the belief system is very different hebraic faith says if you believe it then you'll live your life by doing it but greek faith says it's okay to just believe in your head and you see the new covenant apostles were working against that greek understanding which is why they have the phrase written that we bring into today that if you believe in your heart but you also confess with your mouth that yeshua is lord then you're saved because there has to be an action there can't just be a belief in your head and in your heart there has to be an action the belief was in your heart but the action was in your mouth and it was a public statement it wasn't quietly in your closet it was out in public i believe in the lord yeshua i'm proud of what he's done in my life but faith and faithfulness they're connected they're connected because faith drives faithfulness james chapter 2 verse 17 in the same way faith by itself if it is not accompanied by action is dead you say pastor chad i don't like your teaching here i don't like where you're going i don't like that you're trying to say faith has to have an action to it well i'm glad that you don't like that i'm teaching it because i'm not teaching it james is teaching it the holy spirit through james is teaching it faith by itself if not accompanied by action is dead it doesn't exist you don't really believe it see that's a hebraic way of thinking that's a messianic jewish believer telling you what faith is from a hebrew mindset it comes with an action same chapter a couple of verses later verse 26 as the body without a spirit is dead so faith without deeds is dead abraham did not simply believe and therefore receive credit for his righteousness he believed the lord's promises and so he acted on them by moving his family to a land he knew nothing about that was great faith but it was also great faithfulness and we don't want to separate the two of those they're different but they're to be interlinked let me bring you a second key phrase tonight real faith is shown by the action that one takes in response to god's promise that's real faith real faith is shown by the action that one takes in response to god's promise otherwise the word of god just sits there idle if you don't make a motion an action a deed to live by that word now you might say pastor chad listen tonight i i'm digging what you're saying i'm following you it seems easy when we hear god's voice we hear his word we hear his promises clearly it's easy to obey that abraham got to hear god's voice he got to see him multiple times he even had meals with him that's easy we would all easily obey if we just saw the lord the way the apostles saw him or if the way john saw him or the prophet saw him it would be easy to obey then but you might have this challenge for me tonight you might say that would be easy but but what do you do when it feels like god has not spoken anybody ever feel that way hey it's great when god is right there in front of you and he's speaking and it's so easy to hear that's a great moment but what about the majority of the time can i just be honest and real with you tonight what about the majority of the time when it feels like he's not speaking anybody relate with that what what about the times where it doesn't feel like i i can see a clear path what about the times where i don't sense that a promise has been made to me what about those times pastor chad what do i do in those moments it's great that all these men and women of faith are there but they heard from god what about me what about when it feels like i'm not hearing from god what about during an extended lockdown of corona when i can't hear from god what about what do i do then and god has an answer for you tonight so stay tuned listen to me lock in lean into this god has an answer for all of us tonight we go back to our original question in a time like this what do i do well there's a parable given to us by yeshua himself in matthew chapter 25. look at verse 14 and i'll read a little bit of an excerpt from this parable matthew 25 14. again the kingdom of heaven is what he's talking about he says again it will be like a man going on a journey who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them to one he gave five bags of gold to another two bags of gold and to another one bag of gold each the man who had received the five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work and gained five bags more according to his ability then he went on his journey and so also the one with two bags of gold gained two more but the man who had received one bag went off he dug a hole in the ground and hid his master's money this is the point that the lord has been working in my life on and i want you to hear me this is very personal this is where the lord has been digging into me a little bit in a good way he always has access to my heart the man with five talents the man with two talents he put their talents and the gold into action he didn't just believe in the gold he did something with it he didn't just say man i really have faith in this goal look at it it's there i believe in my master i believe my master is real i believe my master gave me go look at it it's right there he took that that gold and then he had an action there was a deed there was movement there was motion and are you ready for this tonight here's the kicker and i this was i was just i had this private devotion time and i was reading through this parable and i was with it i was like yeah you know faith and works god i'm with you whoo i'm feeling it and then right at this moment where the lord said yeah but did you get this part and then boom and he said to me read the parable again and try to find what the master told the servants to do so i read it again i read it three times and there was never actually a moment where the master tells the servants what to do he gave him the gold doesn't tell him to do anything with it that amazing here's five bags of gold you should know what to do with that here's two bags of gold you should know what to do with that i shouldn't have to tell you here's one bag of gold you should know what to do with that i shouldn't have to tell you you know me by now you know my heart you know my word you know my principles you should know what to do by now and the ones that had action we're going to read in a moment what he says to them two had action one did not the master expected that they would put their talents and their goal to work to be fruitful and the two that put it into action he praised them for their faithfulness the person who did not put it into action but did nothing he was called lazy he was stripped of the gold and he was thrown out of the master's house not because of a lack of faith but because of a lack of faithfulness he didn't do anything with it look at verse 21 i'm still in matthew 25 verse 21 his master replied well done good and faithful servant you have been faithful with a few things now i will put you in charge of many things so come and share in your master's happiness look at the term faithful here notice he didn't say to the servant well done good and faith servant it wasn't about faith at that point he didn't say great job servant full of faith servant who thought the right thing servant who believed the right thing no well done good and faithful servant who moved with your feet to do something with the master's talents now go and produce more fruit because you know what my heart is you know what i want i want more fruit and when you are ever in a situation you don't know what to do you know your father's heart he wants more fruit figure out a way to go get more fruit for your father and you'll never ever again have a moment in life when you're like i don't know what to do you know what to do go get more fruit for your father along the way he might give you a few more details the belief sent them into action i found it interesting also that not only did the the the servant with the five talents and the two talent double it they were called good and faithful not good and i like your faith but i also found it interesting that in the book of galatians chapter 5 when we're learning about the holy spirit and we're told that we're being molded into the image of messiah that there's this grouping of characteristics called the fruit of the spirit i found it interesting that the fruit of the spirit are listed in verse 22 and 23 of galatians 5 this way but the fruit of the spirit is love joy peace patience kindness goodness faithfulness gentleness and self-control against such things there is no law it struck me that faith wasn't in there friends are you hearing me tonight that doesn't mean we should not have faith i'm just saying god is highlighting the fact that without the faithfulness part what good is faith it's kind of like what what good is love if love doesn't ever reveal itself if it's just a feeling it's not as good to anyone well faith is that same way it's like a body that has no spirit in it it's not alive according to the book of james and i want to remind all of us that we are made in god's image and if our god is faithful then we should be faithful if the fruit of our holy spirit is faithfulness then we need to exhibit faithfulness if the servant was praised for being good and faithful then we want to be a good and faithful servant not just tout our faith first corinthians chapter 1 verse 9 just hammers this point home about god god is faithful who has called you into fellowship with his son yeshua our lord if god is faithful then we should be faithful when we do when we do not know what to do friends or we have not been given specific instructions at times or we feel like we have not received a word from the lord or a promise what do we do and that's tonight's message what do we do in those moments i want to leave you with a couple of thoughts as we close first thought if you haven't heard clearly what to do do the last thing you remember the lord telling you to do and be faithful to it if you're not hearing anything new then do the last thing you remember the lord telling you and be faithful in that sometimes he's going to hand you a bag of gold and he's going to expect that you remember what he told you to do with it from a time past but be faithful with the last thing you remember the lord telling you to do and number two observe what needs to be done around you and be faithful to do it say pastor chad you know you're really not sounding spiritual tonight you're i i tune in and i come and i worship and i i'm expecting somebody to to tickle my ears a little bit and and all you're doing is you're telling me the obvious things well as soon as we as a body of messiah get good at the obvious things we can move on to something else observe what needs to be done around you and be faithful to do it you say but god hasn't spoken to me he hasn't spoken to me i see that homeless person right there i can tell they're hungry brother i feel for you i'm so sad that you're homeless and hungry i'm asking god what to do right now so if you can just wait a second i'm waiting on the word of the lord god what would you have me do today nothing i'm not getting a word i'm not getting a word god's going you know what i expect of you go get me some fruit serve everyone around you observe what needs to be done and just do it faithfully why do i have to tell you every step to taking every food to eat in every shirt to wear i gave you wisdom i put my holy spirit inside of you you know what to do most of the time you have the the knowledge of good and evil has already penetrated you from the garden you know what is good and what is evil you know what is right and wrong you know me you know what i want if you'll start doing observing what's around you and be faithful to that i'll give you the details later james chapter 4 verse 17 our closing verse tonight if anyone then knows the good they ought to do and doesn't do it it is sin for them you see faith without works is dead faith without deeds is just a hollow body with no spirit when you see the the need in front of you but you don't move to act that's when god can't say of you good and faithful servant but he wants to so can we make it a little bit more simple tonight i remember one time i'll close with a quick story i was coming home from work it was shabbat i'd been working late i was not working in ministry at the time i was in a business job at the time and i had some people gathering at the house waiting for me at shabbat and if you know my wife she cooks amazing meals and i couldn't wait to get home to it and i knew the friends were waiting on me and i i had to leave a little bit late from work that day so i felt a little rushed a little panicky trying to get home get my stuff in the car i was driving and i was on the freeway it was just starting to get dark and up ahead of me i i was maybe 15 10 15 minutes from home i was getting close i knew i was running late texted my wife hey i'm only about 10 minutes away and of course i pulled off to the side of the road to text her by the way just so you know that just to be clear i didn't want any comments from the online viewers but as i was getting back on the freeway i noticed a lady ahead of me i could tell she had car trouble she had a fully flat tire and i could tell she was trying to figure out what to do with the jack on her car and i man everything inside of me was like no hey i got people waiting i've got the perfect excuse right now it's shabbat i got to go light the candles i got to observe shabbat i get to welcome in the blessing of god there's people waiting for me the expectation my wife my kids i got every excuse in the book i worked the hard week and the closer i got to that car that scripture came to mind to him who knows to do good but doesn't do it it's not just hey i'm disappointed in you to him it is sin observe the good that needs to be done around you and do it faithfully so yes i stopped i helped this lady that happened to be by herself helped her change a tire now my clothes are all dirty my hands are all brown and she asked me why did you stop so i told her i didn't want to stop but the bible tells me and i started quoting scripture to her and she said i've always wanted to read the bible and i got the witness to her but those kind of things don't happen if you don't observe what needs to be done around you and start doing it and sometimes god is just putting the gold in your hand and he's not telling you what to do because he expects that you probably know what to do already my encouragement tonight friends is don't complicate god's kingdom it's a pretty simple kingdom have faith in what god has told you and put it into action and when you're not sure what god is telling you either do the last thing you remember him telling you to do and do it faithfully or observe what needs to be done around you and be faithful to do it can we pray father we thank you that your kingdom is immense it's infinite it's powerful it's going to change this world it is hope to the hopeless and light to darkness tonight but we also know that you're a god who doesn't hide from your servants what he's about to do and you're not a god who wants to complicate things you want to keep it very simple and we thank you tonight that you're able to take a complex topic like faith and make it very simple like faithfulness can you help us holy spirit tonight to be more faithful to your word more faithful to what we observe more faithful to what you've told us to put hands and feet of action to our faith to to have that he break background of faith that it would guide our life that would guide our actions help us tonight even during this time of restrictions what can we observe needs to be done what can we do god even if we feel like we don't hear your voice loud and clear tonight there are several things we know can be done give us the courage to do them to bring you fruit father because you're worthy of it all thank you holy spirit for your help tonight in yeshua's name amen amen let's worship on that [Music] your promise still stays great is your faithfulness faithfulness i'm still in your hands this is my confidence [Music] still stands great is your faithfulness faith i'm still in your hands this is [Music] [Applause] [Music] your word will come to pass [Music] i [Music] [Music] still stands and this is your faithfulness faithfulness [Music] you've never failed me yet [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] i'll see you do it [Music] i'll see you do it again [Music] where there was no and i believe [Music] i'll see you do it again [Music] [Music] is [Music] oh [Music] [Music] is fail me amen and we serve a faithful faithful god great message tonight pastor chad wonderful perspective on the faith and the days that we're living in you know i've heard many people say over the last few weeks last few months that god is trying to strengthen the faith of his people that's true but listen to this think of that faith that god's given you like a muscle and as you're acting in faithfulness being faithful to the things that god's given you to do whether it was a direct word or it was just a general knowledge from his word it's it's a strengthening of that muscle as we walk in faithfulness carrying out those things that he showed us to do day by day and so god we ask that you would make your people strong we do want to have greater faith but it's not going to just be dumped into us it's going to be given it's going to be given strength as we use that muscle so give us courage god to be faithful faithful to you in the many big ways and the many small ways that presented to us each and every day god thank you for this season and we ask that you would strengthen the faith that you put inside of each one of our hearts that you would be glorified in yeshua's precious name amen well we're so glad that you joined us tonight we're going to be here again next week at 5 00 p.m israel time we're looking forward being together
