Killua Zoldyck Abilities Explained | Hunter x Hunter

kilo is older deak from hunter x hunter what are his nen abilities first and foremost he is a transmuter in terms of the six men types but his signature net ability is the concept of him altering the properties of his aura to something that nearly is identical to electricity to attack his opponents in multiple ways getting into his specific techniques though lightning palm is a close-ranged attack where kilauea electrocutes his target by transmuting nen with electric properties in his palms and releasing it on his opponent to shock them he uses this against sub in the greed island arc stunning him and then against yupi multiple times a far stronger opponent in the chimera ant arc and managed to damage him pretty significantly thunderbolt is the name of his next ability which is where kilauea jumps up and projects a nen bolt of lightning from his fingers this is shown in his fight against ramot with gone he finds an opening and stuns him allowing gon to prepare his next attack and then in his battle vs yupi again he was successful in electrocuting him with this seemingly doing a significant amount of damage despite how much stronger up was the peak of kilauea's non-abilities though is his god speed which is categorized into two separate techniques with the first being whirlwind which is where kilwa electrifies his body with his nen and programs his body to move at speeds far greater than he normally is capable of by programming an automatic response via bypassing his nervous system for example when we humans see something coming towards us or feel something touching us from behind that feeling sends a signal to the brain which then after we process the situation we have our brain send a command to our muscles to carry out a response which would be turning around if someone grabs our shoulder from behind but kilowatt skips that process and instead rewires his body by predicting a response from his opponent and then programming a predetermined reaction that he doesn't need to use his brain to process bypassing the nervous system as i said before if that opponent does what he predicts however this all relies on his prediction being correct though for example we see this used in kilauea's fight versus the ortho siblings where he predicts the specific spot where the dart fish was going to be thrown at him and pre-programmed a response that as soon as the fish would make the slightest contact with his skin his arms would immediately move to grab it it says in the manga i stopped it by grabbing hold the moment the fish took physical form and punctured skin where one of the siblings responds saying you need light speed reflexes to catch it that's just not human and kilowatt answers well sure it would have been if i didn't know where the dart was going the final throw was the only one i knew without a doubt when and where the dart would hit and i readied my hand by my forehead at the 40 40-point mark poised to grab the darts it's also stated that kilauea didn't bother to explain that he changed his aura into electricity to maximize reaction time rather than wait for the nerves of his skin to sense the fish which relays that signal to the brain and then processes it and transmits a command to the hand he programmed the aura around the left hand to send an electric signal directly to the muscles thus grabbing the fish the instant the aura sensed it in kilo's fight against yupi he uses this as well being able to successfully predict his actions and programming responses to allow him to get numerous hits off against him the manga gives a general more broad explanation of this too in the match saying whirlwind which controlled his body automatically in response to his opponent's actions and lastly we see this used against pouf where kilowatt sets a visible aura of electric nen in a circle and tells pouf that if he enters the circle he'll kill him and then of course pouf decides to still infiltrate the electric circle and gets zapped immediately with his cells on his face getting burned off the second part of godspeed is the speed of lightning which allows kilua to move at extreme speeds whether it be running or jumping far higher than usual speed of lightning which allowed him to operate his body at superhuman speed he is shown using this while running with aluka covering a great amount of distance in a short time in the manga it stated that he only needs 10 minutes to cover 40 kilometers which is 24.8 miles in this state while carrying someone and traveling in the forest which is not the ideal terrain for kilauea as he's shown moving far more efficiently on roads but regardless of this this would still mean that he's traveling at about 240 kilometers per hour which would be 149.1 miles per hour for his last ability though kilauea uses yo-yos from time to time in battle which normally wouldn't make it on one of these videos if he was just using basic nine to influence them in battle but it is shown that he is able to channel his electric net through the yoyos to attack enemies he is shown using this in his battle against sub again for the finishing blow but yeah those are all the
