Killing the Reaper Leviathan in Subnautica

all right what's going on we're gonna quickly break down how to kill the Leviathan in subnautica so the first thing you're going to need to have is the stasis rifle and the knife I definitely going to want to make sure you have full battery in the stasis rifle for this one uh for me the place I usually go to find them here is is right behind the ship yeah so you can see I just took a look there of where it's at and he's the leviathan's usually right over here you can see it at this point I uh I start sketching out a little bit you know I'm kind of kind of heating out yeah you can see I'm freaking out a little bit here looking for him all right this Ridge right here once you cross this this is usually where you'll where you'll find them and sure enough boom there he is right away so start off just kind of dangling away from them a little bit here get yourself a little bit of space keep back and not backing up kind of turning once you got just a bit of space pop out YOLO stasis rifle so you can charge it up here but it it will automatically shoot just like that if once it's fully charged so um you know you got to uh you got to be uh you got to time it right in order to actually freeze them you got to hit the head of the Leviathan you know hitting the body isn't going to work once you once you do get them with the stasis rifle you gotta just stab them you know you can see here that I'm trying to hit them in the side and that actually doesn't work you gotta stab them in the head here and boom there it is the stasis rifle the the force field from the stasis rifle will start to shrink and you can see right now right there it's starting to shrink a little bit so when you see that pull the gun back out charge it up give it a blast boom get back in there with the knife all right so at this point you're basically just hacking away at them it definitely helps to have one of the advanced oxygen tanks for this so boom get a bit of air and we're right back at it you can see the stasis Force Field's starting to wear off there give him another shot back at it with the knife thank you as you can imagine this guy's pretty beefy so he takes a while hacking at him so right there I made a mistake letting him get away letting the force field disappear but uh yeah the best thing to do is just go swim at him it's uh it's pretty heaty with the weeds here pretty sketch it your stasis rifle will hit the weeds and oh there he is you can see I'm pretty low Health here but uh fairly confident that I won't make that mistake twice and we're back at it with the knife here second next the kit the next stasis rifle shot a little early a little more oxygen boom and there it is you can tell he's dead when he kind of bellies up like that always uh always seems even a little sketchy even you know after the third time I've killed one of these now uh getting in close to the face like that it's Gonna Save a little screenshot for later and there you have it there's the Leviathan taken down to be honest the uh the scary I mean the scariest part is it's even just is just hopping out into the water the toughest part is convincing yourself to do it all right guys well that about wraps it up thanks very much for watching cheers
