I Used The SUPER PRAWN Mod to Fight The Updated GARGANTUAN Leviathan!

hello there and welcome back to the amazing world of modded sub nightmare apparently because we're back with the return of the ancient mod yup that is positively haunting so what i have for you today is of course very exciting we're going to take a look at all the updates to the return of the ancients mod and we're also going to fight the gargantuan using the super bronze suit but first let's build a rocket now if you've been following any subnautica creators recently excluding myself i suppose you probably know of this one but in the earlier build of the gargantuan leviathan mod there's a bit of a unique interaction it can do with the neptune rocket the nothing here is happening here i'm just having a jolly old time building my rocket how nice is this radio just gonna prep this rocket real quick yoink yoink yoink yoink yoink and yoink don't know why i went with yoink of all things but anyway let's launch this rocket and look at something horrifying now of course we know that the gargantuan leviathan is no big fan of ships on this planet as evident by the sunbeam we're being dragged back down and oh look at those those are the jaws of the gargantuan leviathan and that is the the game quitting apparently it just crashed okay okay back in the game let's see if we can get a slightly better angle of this i honestly have no idea how i managed to get this camera angle i was having some trouble with the free cam but at least this gives us a better angle oh there and there it is and the game crashed again that's lovely now while that looks absolutely terrifying i should note that this isn't something that they're planning to actually have in the final release of the mod so i just want to make it perfectly clear that you should not expect to see this in the final version because presumably what i have planned will be much more polished and just much better looking okay now that we got that out of the way let's go check on the sunbeam now in some previous videos i've already showed you guys the animation of the gargantuan eating the ship once it gets shot down but this has apparently been since improved and kind of polished a bit more so why don't we take another look at it here i am an unsuspecting viewer from the um the beach out here on the mountain island and let's see what happens first i just want to kind of see it the way you would see it from the game and then we're gonna take the free cam over there and see the horror up close there's still just something absolutely haunting about this interaction yeah boys you better brace yourselves okay here comes the shot it's the ship just as expected i hear something yeah oh there it is whoo nice look at that finally with some of that splashing oh that looks really good now look i'm not gonna lie is the amount of splashing proportionate probably not i feel like this thing displaces a lot more water than this but it definitely looks way sicker and still absolutely terrifying let's see that again okay let's see i'm gonna speed this section just a little bit okay i'm gonna quickly fly all the way out here we're watching this right now at i think half the speed by the way for anybody wondering there are life balls out here they are far though and here is the monster itself look at this thing okay so there's the big splash you gotta see this first one i mean if you're at water level it looks pretty good obviously going up above it does reveal some of the magic behind it but it looks nice it looks freaking cool just so you know i'm flying at the fastest the free cam allows me to and that's how big this thing is look at this compared to the height of the aurora oh my god ah this is haunting on so many levels good grief and then lunges back down there's the other splash yeah looks pretty good like from the perspective of an observer it looks so scary my god now just so you don't accuse me of purely looking at the horror elements of this mod there's a new fish in the game if you take a little nifty console command you will now spawn the alpha peeper look at this thing can i oh okay well i can't hold it in my hand yet unfortunately i mean you can definitely see the resemblance to all the other creatures the alpha beeper according to the lore is supposed to be kind of the shared ancestor between all the fish that kind of look like the beepers and yeah we can definitely see it has some of those elements that color scheme more akin to the oculus and then this very interesting uh body structure somewhat reminiscent of the arctic peeper i would say i think there's even more variations oh yeah here we go it's a green variant there's a purple variant dang these are very cool for sure i wonder how they're going to place them throughout the biome something tells me this one's going to be in the lost river but overall awesome work and they even make custom sounds i believe that's freaking cool i know things are about to go bad because i'm back at the island baby let's be honest you might have grown a little tired off the vehicles found in the game and more specifically the prawn suit i mean what does it really do besides giving you the power and the hunger to haunt every living thing in the game and make it go extinct well the creator of this next mod said no more compromises when it comes to the prawn suit and made the super prawn mod which it's basically a set of modifications that you can apply to the bronze suit that will kind of make it go super i have entered it um the speed is definitely increased sort of thrusters i would say this mod lets you control a lot of things about the bronze suit all of which combine to pretty much turn it into a full-on gundam from the common stuff you would expect such as infinite health infinite energy or infinite torpedoes all the way to advanced movement system expanded fov and of course who could forget the bronze size multiplier yeah you might have thought this is big but i'm barely running it at half size and i gotta say the advanced movement system it's really kicking in and not just on the front seat my god riley are you okay okay so riley was not okay in that moment how powerful is this really oh my god our next victim is coming close sorry what that's not what i was expecting this thing just we just turned a reef back into a brain coral that's all that's left guys it literally just got atomized like this bronze suit punches with so much power it completely disintegrated that poor reef back oh my god i mean maybe that has something to do with the 1000 punch damage multiplier but i mean that's just a guess okay here's the thing though is it really big enough to fight the gargantuan yet let me just do a quick restart here now that is more what i'm talking about now i'm going to try to navigate on top of the aurora and after that there's only one thing left of course to summon the gargantuan and send it right back where it came from the bottom of the void so for size reference here we kind of see it's compared to the player and yeah i'm not really sure how riley is sitting in that chair but i've stopped asking myself questions a long time ago all right my friends i have assumed the battlements no creature shall ask me to reach the aurora i think i've spotted one it's disable the fog so what we can see what we're dealing with it's just a baby no match for the power of the prawn oh it is a fair battle out here we must destroy this beast once and for all come on we got this look at this oh this is such an epic shot look at that it's just a gargantuan battling this massive mech suit yo how freaking cool is this i i don't even know what's happened i think i'm i'm just swimming inside now so uh that's a problem we're gonna first see this reef bag destroyed gone reduced to atoms just flying over to the island like an absolute chad oh my god okay i might have underestimated how big that promises would need to be it's still getting absolutely annihilated it literally broke my brawn in one bite oh no i'm supposed to have infinite health if at any point you needed further proof that the gargantuan is absolutely overpowered it just somehow destroyed my prawn suit with infinite health in a single bite and i think that is just the perfect place to end this video rest in peace that ghost anyways guys thank you so much for watching
