upon grace and the scripture for this month has been taken from john chapter 1 verse 16. far from his fullness we have all received grace upon grace the new living translation says from his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another the passion translation says and from the overflow of his fullness we receive grace heaped upon more grace but the amplified says for out of his fullness the super abundance of his grace and truth we have all received grace upon grace spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing favor upon favor gift heaped upon gift that is what we have received from the lord out of his abundance out of his greatness and so it does not matter what you may be going through right now just know that his abundance is flowing to you in the name of jesus grace means kindness by somebody pardon it means to free the free and unmerited favor of god shown towards man it is the divine assistance and power given to man in spiritual rebirth and sanctification the condition of being favored or sanctified by god how many favored child of god here today if you are if you know you are favored by god raise your hands hallelujah we have been favored by god grace upon grace that is what you should be expecting this month in this month of october and is number 10 during morning glo our senior pastor said was that number 10 means prosperity increase abundance and multiplication that is what you should be expecting this month and i believe that that will be your testimony because we are under the covenant of testimony you know i don't know about you i called our senior pastor during the week i said you are not the only one getting a lot me too i'm getting a lot hallelujah because you know god is he's been talking about his test so i said god i have to give my own testimony too and i know each and every one of us will give our testimony in the name of jesus the bible says out of his fullness out of his fullness because and we can see that in john chapter 1 verse 14 the bible says the world became flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld his glory the glory as of the only begotten son of the father full of grace and truth so it is out of that fullness out of that overflow that is what we are getting and i like the song you know the choir sang this morning we are not going to settle for less we're not i don't know about you i'm not settling for less because we know there's so much that we can find in him and everything is in him in him we live in him we live in him we have our being so we must not settle for less because he said grace upon grace grace on top of grace one wave of grace being constantly replaced by a fresh grace there is no limit to the supply of grace i don't know what you may be going through right now but i want you to know there is no limit to the supply of grace yes there may be shortage of petrol but there is no shortage of grace i said there is no shortage of grace in the name of jesus we are incomplete without christ he died for us and i wanted to know that if god can give us is the costliest gift what is it that you are trusting him for that he cannot do so let's trust him this month and even beyond we're going to thank him because it's not every time we ask us ask we're going to thank you for that grace upon grace blessing upon blessing it's a gift that is heaped upon gift you know they are just sparking the gift get ready that is what would be your experience in the name of jesus that is the word of the lord to us this month and i want you to know that grace gives solidity grace gives strength when you know that the grace of god is with you you will be strengthened grace gives security and grace gives safety may you be be secure this month in the name of jesus may you receive strength this month in the mighty name of jesus it is god's grace that impact peace and hope and he removes all fears he removes all fears well you know by the grace of god i can do it by the grace of god it's even because of the grace of god that we are here today so many things have happened in our world but we are here today by his grace so don't let the enemy keep putting you down always remember that the grace of god is there for you and it's just not it's not ordinary grace it's grace upon grace blessing upon blessing favor upon favor kindness upon kindness that is the promise of the lord aren't you excited about that that this month yeah you may think you have experienced the goodness of god but this won't get ready for goodness upon goodness kindness upon kindness people will just be kind to you without some people that don't even like you they won't know why they are being kind to you because that is the word of the lord hallelujah and they'll be blessing up on blessing favor as to go everywhere favor and his grace will be sufficient i said his grace will be sufficient there is no limit there is no shortage of his grace we serve a mighty god you know this god that we serve knows how to take care of his own and i want you to know that he will take care of you before we thank him i just want to say this to you if god permits it then we provide the grace to meet it if god permits the challenge then he will provide the grace to meet it so whatever comes your way god knows that you can handle it oh yeah i remember the first time i heard that i think it was pastor martin you said i said oh really he said god knows whatever you're going through god knows that you can handle it that's why you are even going through it anyway and i'm saying the same thing to you this morning if god permits the challenge he will provide the grace to meet it god has enough grace to solve every dilemma we may face he has the grace to wipe every tear that you may cry and every question that you may have this month he has the grace for it let's trust him let's trust him with our lives let's trust him with our family if we glorify himself the fact that you are even here you know alive and living that means you are experiencing his grace not only are you alive you are you know you you are living you are you said i have come that they might have life and have it more abundantly abundant life is what god wants for us make up your mind make up your mind that you're going to be happy when i turned 62 last monday i said yeah missy just be happy enjoy life and i've made up my after my children i'm enjoying my life and you know they even took me out on my birthday before i was like oh no i don't want to go i don't want to go i say okay i will go i will go yeah spoil me yeah live your life don't allow the enemy to keep reminding you of the things that god has not done think about what he has done already but he's telling us that this wants his grace upon grace bless receive blessing upon blessing kindness upon kindness in the mighty name of jesus so if he can give us the costliest gift what is that his only begotten son what is that thing that discussing just talking about the pandemic and she said she doesn't even know how those who don't know jesus as their lord and savior she doesn't know how they are coping but we thank god for jesus we thank you i want you to stand up right now and i just want you to thank god i wanted to thank god he did not spare his own son but he gave him up he gave him up how would he not also give you what you are asking him for you know sometimes we ask ourselves is god on my side you ask i want to tell you look at the wounds on his side just look at the wound on his side and that will make you to know ourselves and just worship our jehovah but it's very good for us to always remember why we believe why he is good to us in first peter chapter 3 verse 15 it says sanctify the lord god in in your heart always and be ready to give an answer to every man who asks of you the reason for the hope that is in you it is important for you to renew your own faith to renew why you believe in god to renew why you serve him and number two it is important for us to know why we believe in the existence of god so we can be able witnesses and not people who are wondering and asking questions in our own heart we need to know the reasons for the the existence of god in order for us to be able to be defenders of the faith that is what the bible calls us matter of fact one of the functions of the queen of england is to be the defender of the faith but today in the western hemisphere you find many people announcing i don't believe in god but you know what the denial of the existence of a thing does not eradicate its existence and the person who rejects him now may have to face him later welcome to today's service i trust that today's world will bless you why i believe in the existence of god hebrews chapter 1 verse 1 and 2 says god who at various times and in various ways spoken time passed to the fathers by the prophets has in this last day spoken to us by his son whom he has appointed hair of all things through whom also he made the world in the book of genesis chapter 1 verse 1 it says in the beginning god created the heavens and the earth you see the beauty of genesis 1 1 is that it did not try to prove to anyone that there is a god it just assumes that everyone will know there is a god only a fool will say there is no god psalm 14 verse 1 the fool has said in his heart there is no god they are corrupt they have done abominable things there is none who does good then daniel tells us beautifully answering the confusion of nebuchadnezzar daniel 2 28 he said but there is a god haerabosha in heaven who reveals the secrets and he has made known to king nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days your dream and the vision of your head upon your bed were these so we see from scripture the bible announces to us that there is a god jehovah the god of the universe let me tell you what a few scientists said let's start with galileo galileo galilei was one of the first who by astronomy confirmed that our planet is a round ball the world used to think everything was flat but by major scientific calculations he was able to confirm and galileo galilei was both a scientist and a priest he said i do not feel obliged to believe that the same god who has endowed us with sense reason and intellect has intended us to forgot their use because some people make it look like if you believe in god you must be stupid isaac newton the british man who was the first to recognize gravity said this most beautiful system of the sun the planets the comets could only proceed from the council and dominion of an intelligent and powerful being albert einstein the father of modern science or relativity who gave us a dimension of physics that has helped us to be able to produce the phone the microwave the telephone to be able to put satellites in space said in view of the search of such harmony in the cosmos which i with my limited human mind i'm able to recognize there are yet people who say there is no god but what makes me really angry is that they quote me for support of short views he said hey i'm not part of your view voltaire said we are intelligent beings and an intelligent being could not have been formed by a blind brute insensible thing for those who say the world just happened by some bank and such a beautiful intelligent creation happened out of a chaotic bank he's saying it's not possible luis pasteur who was the one who gave the process of pasteurization said a little science and strangest men from god but messiahs leads them back to him bless pascal that god has given us evidence sufficiently clear to convince those with an open heart and an open mind i want you to know that the bible makes clear to us that god is both incomprehensible and at the same time knowable both are true both are truth but they are not absolute he is incomprehensible but at the same time you can know him he is incomprehensible according to job 11 7 can you search out the deep things of god can you find out the limits of the almighty isaiah 40 verse 18 i hope they'll put the scriptures as fast as i share isaiah 40 verse 18 to whom then will we liken god or what likeness will you compare to him yet he wants us to know him that's why he gave us the bible in john 14 7 it says if you had known me you would have known my father also from now on you know him and you have sent him john 17 3 jesus says and this is eternal life that they might know him and jesus christ whom he has sent in first john chapter 5 verse 20 the bible says and we know that the son of god has come and has given us understanding that we may know him who is true and we are in him who is true in his son jesus christ this is the truth and eternal god i believe in the existence of god because first of all he is the god of the universe who is self-existent what does that mean i am not self-existent you are not you need me i need you in fact you need things like right now you are breathing you have never even asked where oxygen comes from certainly it's not produced by the trees it is out there and it has never been exhausted so you are not self-sufficient you may behave like you don't need anyone but you'll be amazed to find that the shirt you are wearing is from italy the shoe you are wearing is from is from spraying the watch on your wrists from switzerland you depend on others but the god will serve he self-exists in exodus chapter six verse three i appeared to abraham to isaac unto jacob as god almighty but my name lord by by my name lord i was not known to them isaiah 40 verse 12 to 17 who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand who measured the heaven with the spine and calculated the dust of the earth in a measure who weighed the mountains in the scale and the heels in the balance is anyone who has directed the spirit of the lord or has as his counselor has taught him with whom did god take counsel who instructed him who taught him the path of justice who taught him knowledge who showed him the way of understanding behold the nations are as a drop in a bucket and are counted as the small dust on the scales look he lifts up the isles as a very little thing a lebanon is not sufficient to even burn no it's be sufficient for a burn sacrifice all nations before him are as nothing and they are counted by him less than nothing and worthless this our god is self-existent he is eternal what we mean by eternal it means he has no beginning he has no ending we all have a beginning well if we end up in eternity it means we have no end anymore but we have a beginning i was born a certain day god has no birthday he be he had no beginning eternal genesis 21 verse 33 then abraham planted the tamarisk tree in beersheba and there he called on the name of the lord the everlasting god psalm 19 verse 1 and 2 lord you have been a dwelling place in all generations before the mountains arabosha were brought forth or ever you had formed the earth and the world even from everlasting to everlasting you are god isaiah 40 verse 28 have you not known have you not heard the everlasting god the lord the creator of the ends of the earth neither faints nor is weary his understanding is unsearchable isaiah 46 verse 10 declaring the end from the beginning i'm from ancient times the things that are not yet done saying my counsel shall stand and i will do my own good pleasure he is eternal this our god is also infinite what do we mean by infinity infinity means no ending it just goes on and on and on and on and on is the awesome god that is infinite infinite in his power infinity in his capacity infinite in his greatness infinite in his healing infinite in his ability to supply all your need first kings 8 27 but will god indeed dwell on the earth behold heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain you how much less this temple which i have built is too infinite it's bigger than anything when we say we're going to press it into worship it's because it's a place where we come to meet together he is bigger than a building than a place acts 27 verse 24 to 28 god who made the world and everything in it since he is lord of heaven and earth does not dwell in the temples made with the hands of man now is he worshiped with man's hands as though he needed anything since he gives to all life breath and all things and he has made from one blood every nation of men who dwell on earth the face of the earth and has determined their pre-appointed time and the boundaries of their dwelling so that they should seek the lord in the hope that they might grope for him and find him though he is not far from those who seek him this our god is infinite he's without limit there's no bounds to him no bounds to his ability to heal he's not limited by our universe the universe is so is is so it's so humongous the world with all its equipment all the telescopes that exist cannot see the end of the universe you and i are just on a planet in a in a solar system a solar system is in one galaxy and a galaxy is one of over a billion galaxies and in each galaxy there are over a billion stars planet star quasars asteroids black holes supernovas jesus man so he's bigger than all of it he's the infinitely omniscient god who knows all things he's the infinitely omnipresent god who is everywhere he is the infinitely omnipotent god who is all-powerful and because of this we believe in his existence i believe in the existence of god because of his immutability what does that mean it means he can't change hallelujah it cannot change i am changing my hair is changing my face is changing sometimes i look for the young man and i look in the mirror and i'm seeing an old man i am changing but he remains the same hebrews 23 19 god is not a man no numbers 23 19 god is not a man that he should repent that he should change his mind as he spoken will he not do it first samuel 15 29 and also the strength of israel will not lie nor relent he can't change for he is not a man that he should relent glory to god psalm 33 verse 11 the council of the lord stands forever the plans of his heart hello sir are for all generations immutable he can't change weather changes the world changes situation changes nations change he is immutable he cannot mutate psalm 105 25-27 of old you laid the foundation of the earth the heavens are the walk of your hand they will perish or you will end you yes they will grow old like a garment like a cloak you will change them and they will be changed handiwork teleological evidence the world exhibits an intelligent and deliberate purpose what do we mean there is beauty in our planet there is beauty in the universe and there is intelligence that is the meaning of tellius teleological evidence how come when a bee wakes up in the morning it realizes its function is to go and pollinate flowers and the flowers when pollinated they become the apple that i eat the peach that i eat the almond seed that i eat because it has been created in synchronization that plants know what they should do insects know what they should do animals know what they should do things just flow the way they should do fishes know they should live in the water and the animals know where they should live you find when a goat wants to have a baby it knows what to do it goes to a corner it has its baby it knows how to clean the baby with his teleos the beauty of synchronization symmetry cannot have happened by accident if someone had not created it the world exhibits the excellence of a creator a deliberate purpose it shows order it shows coherence it shows purpose and it shows complexity our world is complex yet everything works in synchronization the organs of such synchronized he designed them with their function in mind and it wasn't a human who designed them there must be god this evidence states that the complex functionality of our natural world which looks designed is the in is the evidence of the of an intelligent being therefore there is a god next evidence is the evidence of answered prayer maybe you have never prayed but for the many people i have met many times the odds of getting an answer and the event of answers happening is very slim if there's no god lord i need somebody to show me favor today to bless me and then it happened lord we my face towel up and it came down there is an energy that pulls it down it was necessary to create that energy because maybe you don't know the planets in which you live is like a ball so if it is like a ball it means sometimes some people are here and if they are below there they go to the south pole if if there was no gravity to keep them they would have fallen out things will have been falling out of our planet why everything stays there because there is a power that pulls it back there's a pa how who created this power that pulls it back there is a there is a physical law that makes things that rest on water to float if they have a hollow there's a physical law wow wow so if there was a big bang it means that the one who created everything stood outside systems and created it let me give you another evidence the evidence of the beauty of physical laws i just described those laws to you law of gravity love flotation several laws like that the aesthetic principle of these laws is symmetry simplicity elegance and they show that they were created to make our planet our universe work only a mind that is intelligent can appreciate the beauty to make these things happen and by the way when they say oh it was by a big bang if it was not an intelligent being that created our universe then it wouldn't have been possible i'd like you to imagine you buy building material to build a house bricks sand uh cement the windows the roofing materials everything needed to build a house you put it on the back of a truck you drive and climb the highest mountain mount everest eight kilometers mount everest is eight kilometers high eight kilometers jesus man then you get to the top of mount everest and you open the back of the truck and everything is falling and by the time it got to the ground it just became a perfect house it became a perfect house how can that be possible if there was no one who built it it's not possible that's how the scientists tell us the world was created that once something just threw the whole universe into a chaotic ban bang and the earth was perfect and the moon was perfect and the sun was perfect nobody creates anything perfection if there's no intelligent being even you if you carry a bucket of water if you pour it out if you didn't have a structural place to pour it into it will spread all over the place you can't quite say what shape it will take but there is a god who created our universe in an amazing way then there is the evidence of cosmic coincidences what is cosmic coincidence pastor matthew which one is that way again there are too many uncanny coincidences in our universe look at it this way the moon and the sun they they have this they look the same in diameter they look the same in their roundness in their diameter but did you know that the moon is close to us 300 000 kilometers 300 000 kilometers but the sun is 93 million miles away and yet whoever put them in space put them at the point where they became born again i don't know what you were before you became born again but i know that my life transformed was not because i had strong willpower i have met many people who have been changed i've met people who from a life of prostitution to preaching the gospel from a drug peddler to a person who is now a gospel preacher i've seen people who have lived a bad life to having a testimony sometimes past they were lost they couldn't have found the right way no one showed them until they met with god he is the one who helps souls so if there is no god true transformation of life couldn't have happened there is a god another evidence is the evidence of the miraculous i've been born again 49 years i've been preaching 47 years i've traveled to several towns countries i've seen miracles that are blown even me who pray for the people it cannot happen by uh willpower some people try to belittle the work of god they'll say it is uh what is that word a medicine when they give you water and you think it is medicine they give you uh whatever miracles can be explained only by a force that has the power of suspending the law of nature for the purpose of making the presence of god known only god has the power to do miracles there are too many accounts of the miraculous healings open doors favors there are too many accounts of the miraculous they are placebo you know when they give you water and they preach they tell you oh it's good medicine until somehow your body reacts and your body truly begins to get healed miracles are more than that i've seen legs stretched i've seen i've seen eyes open i've seen ears open i've seen people with creative miracles april this year in in the city in nigeria called or nietzsche where a woman was not just deaf her eardrum had been
