and now without further ado let's go [Music] first story my entitled sister is annoyed that we take our dog to the park my parents and i have a dog who loves going to the park in the morning the park is a big place where dogs can go off the leash greet one another and play whilst we get a coffee from the cafe mum mostly takes him there because she loves meeting up with her park friends as she is there she gets a phone call from my entitled sister who wanted to ask mum if she could look after her kids for her note we look after the girls once a week or sometimes for a few hours on another day they even sleep over at ours mum explains that she cannot since she is already in the park walking the dog this enrages my sister who snaps i guess your dog is more important than your grandchildren before hanging up sadly this doesn't surprise us as ever since she's had kids she's become very entitled believing everyone else should prioritize her kids before anything she doesn't even say thank you for using our spare time to entertain the kids or help clean up the house when her kids make a mess she also tends to take out her frustration on other people when she feels like it mum does love her grandchildren but she also puts her dog's needs first next story entitled boss isn't happy that i clock in on time hopefully this fits here it's pretty short but i am still fuming i work an hourly job as a veterinary assistant at a small clinic i had a performance review today with my boss and everything was coming up gold stars until we reached the portion on punctuality attendance my boss is one of those people who thinks she owns our time not just during work but outside of work too for background at this job we clock in on the computer for each shift and it logs the in time out time and total shift time our shifts start five minutes prior to opening ie 7 25 am for a 7 30 am opening to give us time to prepare before clients arrive my boss the nerve of this woman looks me straight in the eye and says yasso looking over your hours it seems like you always clock and write exactly at your start time it'd be much more ideal if you could be here and start your day before then i honestly had no idea how to respond i will work my hardest during my assigned hours but heck if i owe you anything before my start time stared at her in shock which i don't think she could see given my face mask and she continued along with the review next story karen decides my age for driving this happened today and honestly i'm still laughing i'm in my early twenties now i live by myself with my dog and cat and a few other animals i have a baby face and it doesn't help that i'm short like under five feet short however i work have a great little family i just got an updated driver's license and i can reach the pedals my boyfriend's car has been making weird noises so he took it to the mechanic yesterday he forgot his house keys and the place already closed me being the helpful girlfriend i am i told my boyfriend to call the mechanic tomorrow while he was at work and all go pick up his keys while at the mechanic a lady walks in this is our karen she looks at me up and down i should properly mention i was wearing leggings black converse a pink shirt that says trademark with a flower on it and a black sweater so this lady comes in i'm just waiting patiently the mechanic hands me my boyfriend's house keys i say thank you and about to leave the lady there says you shouldn't be driving i looked at her confused i thought she meant about it raining today but i was so wrong i'm sorry you're too young to drive karen says again i'm old enough to drive i try to leave karen then tries to snatch my boyfriend's keys i move them out of her reach guess she assumed they were my car keys you are too young to drive where are your parents karen is just glaring at me like she just sinned in church um none of your business i try to leave again karen holds the door closed the mechanic comes in and a lady from another office comes out to look at what's going on you are too young to drive i should know i had kids around your age well i have a card that says otherwise i need to go now i try to leave again karen is holding the door shut at this point this is what karen says someone called the police she obviously stole her parents car what the hell uh it's my car i'm just here to pick something up for my boyfriend leave me alone already karen looks at the other lady and the mechanic looks at karen like she's crazy ma'am she's not bothering you and she looks old enough to drive the mechanic says no she's not i'm a mother i know how old she is karen is yelling at this point we saw her drive her car in the parking lot she's old enough to drive the nice lady from the office said no she's not her parents are obviously somewhere karen keeps insisting i'm too young to drive do you know her age the nice lady asked before i can answer she's obviously 12. karen insisted add eight years to that i like to leave sometime today i was interrupted stop lying karen yelled i'm leaving now i have a dog and cat to feed as well as a boyfriend so thank you and bye my thank you was for the nice lady and the mechanic you are too young to drive karen is just yelling and threatening to call the cops i pushed the door open while karen wasn't paying attention and just left karen is yelling about how she could have fallen and i'm just a brat the mechanic and the nice lady tell karen to leave i dealt with people saying are you lost how old are you where are your parents but i never thought i had to deal with a lady claiming to know my age then telling me about driving next story that's my bed so when karen moved in we had two bedrooms in the house my sisters and mine and me being the nice person i was i told her she could sleep in my bed you all she gets her own place i was thinking she'd be there only a couple months i told her i'd sleep on the couch this is before she made me start to dislike her well karen would stay at her boyfriend's house all week come back a day and start all over again so i thought if she doesn't even use my room i'm moving back in i go to bed one night only to wake up to her standing over me with her boyfriend what are you doing in my bed this is my bed you haven't been staying here so i'm taking my bed back wasn't being rude just saying in a matter of fact tone well you told me i could have the bed in the bedroom so it's mine get up quote 1. no i said you can use it because i'm nice second you ain't been here so no i'm not getting up she stomps her foot and throws a tantrum and leaves the house saying i'm being rude i went back to sleep only to be told the next morning i was so unfair read in a preppy voice i did not give my room up again stay tuned for the reason why my sister believed her lies and not me next story give me money o.r i'll call the cops you made me late to my appointment now you will pay hello reddit i've always read crazy stories about entitled parents but i never imagined the day i would encounter one that day was a couple months ago so my sister and i work at our father's restaurant that also offers money transferring services apart from being able to send money we are also able to pay out orders as well so on that fateful day i'm just chilling at the counter when here comes karen and her entitled kid literally stomping in karen didn't look like your average karen but when i saw her i just knew that she was going to be trouble i didn't want to deal with her but my sister was cleaning tables and between me and her i'm the calm one with good people skills here is how the conversation goes i'm here to pick up money okay what's the pin number it's 12 34. i type in the numbers and the order pops up okay great can i see a valid id karen hands me her id and i see that one of the last names on her id is not on the order i'm not sure what rules moneygram or western union have for picking up money but my company requires that the id and order have the same exact name and spelling in order to be paid out if a name is missing or misspelled i cannot pay out if we do we get in trouble um excuse me i cannot pay out your order because the name on your id does not match up with the name on the order excuse me that's basically my name basically but not quite in order to pay out the two names have to match up this is some freaking bullcrap this is so ridiculous i don't have this problem with western union ma'am this isn't western union maybe they are more lenient but i have strict policies that i need to follow and i cannot pay out until your last lame is added to the order she pulls out all forms of ids can you use a credit card o.r just pay it like that no i'm sorry but it's against policy man this is some crap come one son let's go karen and her kid storm out sure i'm a little annoyed that i was getting cursed out for something that was out of my control but i get over it i exit out of the tab that had karen's order and i think that's the end of it boy was i wrong fifteen minutes later i get a call from her screaming at me that she went to a different agency agency beat to pay out the order and apparently at that agency they told her that her order was paid out at my agency and she could no longer get her money i don't know what you did o.r pressed but you paid out my order so you have to give me my money ma'am i didn't press anything i just typed in the pin number you gave me she starts screaming like a banshee i don't care i was told my money is at your agency so you're going to give me my freaking money i pull up the tab that shows orders that my agency paid out ma'am i'm currently looking at the tab that shows me all the orders that had been paid through my agency and it is showing zero results indicating that not only i have not paid out any orders today but importantly indicating that your order was not paid here omg i'm going to call the cops on you you made me miss my son's appointment now you have to pay me you're wasting my time here's my pin number call the company to see what's going on you can call the cops i don't mind i can prove that your order was not paid here but if by some reason it was i would gladly give you your money call the company or i'm calling the cops i call the customer service line and i explain the situation to jared who's a representative he asks for my agency number and karen's pin number he explains to me that agencies cannot see where orders were paid out unless they call customer service and he confirmed that the order was not paid at my agency so what did they say about that crazy karen's money my older sister asks that it wasn't paid here so we're in the clear did you record the conversation you should have recorded the call to prove to her and the cops if they show up that the money was not paid here i quickly called the customer service line and thank god jared picks up i explained to him that i was recording the call to prove all the things he told me in our previous call this god sent angel begins by saying yes order number 123456708 made to mega entitled mom made by some dude for the amount of 130 was paid at agency b location 1122 chupama street this order was not paid out at x's agency jarrod explains i end the call print out the transaction detail sheet and paid order sheet is proof that i have not paid any orders that day karen calls and i explained to her that the company confirmed that her order was not paid at my agency she starts screaming that someone has her money and how this was some freaking bullcrap she asks for the company herself i gladly give her the number she was someone else's problem she didn't call me back after that i honestly at the end of this ordeal wanted for her to show up with the cops so i could show them all my proof and stick it to karen but no next story my dad and his encounter with an anti-massacre at the gas station alright got another story this time from my dad who just came back from work today and boy is it good so my dad is coming back tired and annoyed from work since his co-workers had made some problems with package log sheets feeling a bit thirsty he stopped at a gas station to get a bottle of soda as he walked up to the one open cash register he spotted a certain gentleman a gentleman who has no mask on and is having a casual conversation with the cashier who has yet to tell this man to have a mask on there's even a sign at the front door that you have to have a mask on before you enter the store and yet this dude is chatting with the clerk the entire time while my dad is still waiting for his turn to pay then a second clerk opened up the other register and waved my dad to step up so he could pay but my dad shakes his head no and nods his head towards the man who is still at the counter but it seemed the second clerk didn't see him shake his head so he waved him up again this time my dad loudly says no i'm gonna wait until no mask here walks away no mask finally shuts up and turns around to face my dad now according to what my dad saw this dude was probably expecting some tiny teen or young adult since he was about red as a tomato face wrinkled up and was about to yell at who was talking about him until he saw my dad my dad mid-40s six feet tall who served in the military marines for three years and deadlifts weights twice his size no mask takes a minute to assess his choices as he stares daggers at my dad while my dad stares back waiting for him to try something eventually no mask stomps off to the front allowing my dad to finally pay for his stuff until no mask says freaking snowflake now my dad doesn't let anyone have the last laugh especially with an idiot who doesn't wear a mask some of you all might not like what he does but to him this was karma for no mask so my dad steps away from the counter and follows no mask out the door slightly shoving him with his shoulder but doesn't push further no mask catches himself and turns asking what the problem was my dad's response i have no problem you seem to have a problem though so here i am i'm right here are you gonna do something about it or are you gonna run with your tail between your legs huh no mask tries the same tactic again of glaring at my dad to make him back down but has no luck embarrassed that he got called out he retreats back to his truck this time not saying anything satisfied my dad goes back in to pay for his items he does say some not-so-nice words to the clerk about him chit-chatting with a dude with no mask on for the entire time he was there and for some reason the clerk needed to defend no mask saying he was just talking about his son to which my dad replied well i feel sorry for his son for having a jerk of a father who thinks wearing a mask makes them a snowflake and is a wimp for talking crap behind people's backs the icing on the cake to this story as while my dad was on his way to his car he heard shouting coming from across the parking lot that's right it's no mask yelling screw you man over and over again at my dad as he drives out i'm right here you're gonna step out of that cheap wagon of a truck and finish what you started or are you gonna drive off my dad fires back no mask shouts the same thing he was saying before and leaves
