[Music] morning everybody is DJ envy Angela Yee Solomon the guy we are The Breakfast Club special guests here this morning he's back he's back Kanye West was I don't think it was gonna happen I know I'm deaf I'm coming back every time let me start with some positivity man I think only one in Wolves it's I don't like auto-tune either but I need it cuz I could do I can like bend my voice in other ways like at the end to run away and everything I like to do that Roger yeah and thank you for inviting me to the Fashion Show as well you came here through all the slander so I would not come to the when you put them next to Drake which was kind of first your shoes just release yeah her don't like those no I like that's not a good thing when a girl has shoes shoes what I like the black colorway great the great colorway when I first saw it look like a paper mache project but the black will tough yeah we're coming with the black ones real soon but that is a big accomplishment for you you put that out limited run first right sold out and now people are buying them online for over fifty nine fifteen hundred for yeah I see I don't I didn't want them to be limited actually that's something that the company did I really want as many people to get them as possible you know I really I know I don't want the price to be 350 I don't want to play this like sneaker culture game and all this so they be reselling them for high price and stuff I just want people just have what I made like ain't no ain't no limited release of the college dropout you know a limited release the graduation you know and I think and clothing right now is a real is real separatism you know like it's $5,000 sweatshirts and I everybody spending that money he's try to show up in the club and act like they you know I'm saying like it's like we need to spend that money on our families and stuff we need so my point of what I'm doing and clothing right now is I'm going and taking the talent like I just came from the Ralph show and I was talking to Ralph and I was like man I need your help you know cuz you know how to make clothes and I and I know I think I know what you know my generation wants but it's very difficult you know if you don't have that production and that experience like what Ralph has and it's really difficult to get those price points like the Zara and H&M price points if you don't if you don't got the factories if you don't got the boats it's about I'm not talked about this before so why did I have no idea they just price today I think that they just you know what I think their logic was they don't want it to go from the other company and go to adidas and maybe like man why do you yeah cuz sometimes the public won't always understand the transition you know like Steve Jobs always had the iPad and his head but he couldn't do it the neck coming from a keyboard and a floppy disc to the iPad you know you had to walk people into this the whole idea with you go into adidas is you have more control and it was doing everyday yeah I do have a lot more at least I could do something you know but any relationship that starts off you ain't gonna have all the control right and I'm saying it's a marriage usually the first year of any situation is the toughest and then when you guys start to communicate you know it could be like it could be powerful explain to think a little bit cuz I'm a sneakerhead I tons of sneakers in yeah I assumed it to be like I don't like to compare but the other sneakers that you were released they were leather they were more of a sneaker sneaker like you could ball out any other sneakers this would I I don't think I could play basketball you actually could play basketball on this one better than the other ones has been yeah because the first one's got boots which is the best technology and I'm not just saying that contractually with adidas I'm saying after someone who goes to the gym and if I wear like my you know boots I feel better cause I have problems with the back of my Keeley's from performance so much and actually I did say fat girls with cankles look look like it'd be comfortable for them yeah I mean I'm working I'm working on it people joked that they look sort of like the uggs right but what's so bugged out is I'm really working on trying to make the sexier ugh because you see uggs all the time uncomfortable yeah and I see you know I see stuff from the future and I'm always like I'm such a like a futurist that I had to like slow down and talk in the present you know and this was a proposition to where I think shoes will go I think the color palettes artists the red over here and a 30 different colors away in the Black History Month version and all that I think that's going to be that's gonna be out of there in the future this is for me as you know humbly I would say I'm the most influential person in Footwear right now true well I say truthfully okay I'm the most influential person in Footwear that balance between wanting to get something that people can afford but then also wanting to use those materials and make things really special you know things that make you more creative yeah those materials is all the game that the factories play - you know silk is in style silk is more expensive from the factories you know it you know you can get everything for a better price it's all in like how you you know how you negotiate with the factories and you know my Ingo ten years from now will be to have everything at as our eye level like I think Steve made it with phones wasn't a show of class anymore you know yeah divert to phone you bust a $4,000 phone you felt like you is better than somebody and I don't understand this talk at all yeah yeah with the phone I'm talking my divert too far yeah I'm not that clear speaker you know I had this car accident and everything and it's just ever since then I've been like a mumble mouth so but what I'm saying is you know right now people are trying to put on a jacket to try to act like they better than you you know and I think this idea being better than the next man is it's the wrong mentality in the first place like we were you know we were born into a broken world that's been separated by Ray religion in class you know but you confuse me when you say stuff like that though because you do act like you're better than people sometimes no like the Grammys is a great example when you end up and you tell everybody to respect the artistry but it's like you're not respecting the art yeah yeah and I deserved it man I was completely hypocritical and you know I was the other imma go ahead you know tell y'all like the other day like I went to dinner sat down with Taylor Swift right and ironically they were like playing a Beckham and I and matically do you think they did I don't know I maybe did it on purpose so I could finally hear if I was this I was like man so you haven't even heard it when you did the guy's like man this is like kind of good I can't even say it because I didn't hear and that was an argument that we had cuz I was like well Kanye might not even know a lot of people didn't had never heard back and I said I never heard it so but people are saying no I'm sure he heard it he had to have heard it to say that you know what I bet you that album is really good you know I'm gonna listen to the album maybe it was potentially an album of the year but the Grammys are still they have a commercial component to it and they want to sell commercials you know so if they have you know these big superstar sitting in the audience and advertise that they upcoming next perform and that's what they try to do to get those views you know you know how these people sitting here and then you know have them like they hearts beating this stuff we work too hard to deal with all that everything I know time you know be like losing in a situation where you because who's winning we ain't get nothing advertising money don't play with us you know that's that's my that's my main point is tolerated like people like yourself you go you're tolerated but not celebrated like gonna come like the Soul Train Awards oh btw Hip Hop Awards Beauty Wars you hear Kanye one but Kanye is not here that's why we need to support the people that support us and that just particularly just a a black thing we always say you know this black show this is that but you know it just needs to be you know it's gonna be a while gonna be a while I got the answers of how to change the voting system I got the answers to you know how to make it where everyone is honored in the proper way and sometimes maybe it's two people that should win you know who's to say who should win but I I think I think it'd be a class thing too because everybody people you know it carries more weight if you want to grammy than if you want to be ET award right so we still go oh says society and that's what this is about this is this is why that's why I respect this show because this is a voice to society is the voice I say to barbershop this is the voice of the streets and this is a you know Grammys is uh it's a statement of class and stuff you go to my house I'm I'm gonna hit the stop button for a second you see my 21 Grammys laid out that you know my wife forced me to take out of the bathroom and put in one place at the Grammys because you could be selfish and say well I got 21 so whatever yeah I mean I and I and I think I deserved one but I you know it's all like I said we was born into a world is separated by class and race and religion so class is one of the things that people want you want to be upper-class you want to be first class but in a plane crash everybody did right in ain't no class then this is just a whole crash you know some of the things like first came up with idea Donda and I was tweeting out all these ideas airplane design this design this design like you know you see of course like me and you know can we can we can take private but you know we really you know we wanna we want to be in an airport we want to be next to the people I get inspiration when I when I see what people are wearing I see I get inspiration when I see what people are going through know people like walking a line slower getting patted down or whatever that's you know I gotta take this one story about class I was going to London where I'm going tonight and I was in the first class line and it was real crowded and I looked over at the coach line for customs and it's completely empty we went over to the coach line and got through right away and everybody was sitting there with the Hermes belts in a big hats they didn't want to lower the class in order to like get through faster when time is the only luxury right you know saying so it's a lot of stuff that I've been learning over the past couple years and I use my money in my position in my relationships to learn about class but my approach I think is a bit more Robin Hood now yeah I guess you know I mean ghetto was fun I like I'm from Chicago my wife got a big ass you know Sam come stay stay ghetto flipped up a little bit yes I got his number and I'm I was supposed to call about just keep forgetting disagreed with you know I felt good for him because they got all the good stuff to happen to me you know the pass you know seven days sir eight days the person that won the most was back because if I hadn't done that his album area would have never been mentioned now it's in all to chatter Kanye West messes up again Kanye West's donkey you know I'm already the the enemy so you can't get no worse than the these people saying you shouldn't have one in the Beehive going in and even negative nasty comments but you know he should win an award for what he did rock album or something like that but he shouldn't have won that award in my opinion but who am i who am i have opinion you know he was exactly why is why is Kanye always keeping for Beyonce I love Beyonce I'm a pinkish miss Murphy knows Carter but it seems like you're always coming to her and no I the other I don't need no cape and she's Beyonce I know that's you know that's it's really ironic that every time it's Beyonce for some reason like why you know why is it why is it Beyonce why you know what why don't I go off on like you know who going off of my wife on Twitter and she like you know why do I hate it you know you know it's I think Beyonce is a great representation of an artist working hard and trying her best and getting the the results from it you know so say Beyonce's previous album wasn't as well received as his new album and she got low like I got low on my new album and and delivers something that everybody loved and if you in America if we want it we have to we have to respect greatness when we see it and we can't smack it in the face at the at the cost of some votes written at the cost of like blowing somebody up that could sell some t-shirts if you see something that's great you gotta respect it I remember I was trying it on a basketball team late grade I hit every free-throw hit every layup and I looked at the list and I was on a list and then the coaches gave me the Calle shrug now you know a basketball team you know that's like the best thing because you get to leave school yeah you on a basketball team we had a small gym we like you were running to the Broadway stage like you hit a layup and stuff but but so hurt people hurt people no my point is you you're not gonna have somebody hit all the shots and you're not giving that credit you know and I think a lot of times Beyonce exactly what you say said Beyonce don't need no help people look at Beyonce because she's she's rich respect the whole she's a beautiful woman she's talented and so they figure she's got everything so you don't even need nothing else but I think she needs two proper accolades because he's an inspiration so and now she I don't think she's ever won an album of the year Grammy okay and uh I don't know and and this is funny cuz Taylor was talking to me about this she was saying that you know when she was the victim she won every award and now that she's powerful and the biggest selling artist now she's not winning awards anymore because they like what do you need it's once again it's that moment where the rich people are lying is getting clogged up because it's a practical joke that everybody in airport you know playing on rich people as they should because this is rich people our focus shouldn't be on how we get a new phantom how we get a big house I focus should be on how do we help the middle to the lower-class to have a better life and I think that we get distracted with you know luxuries so-called luxury goods so-called luxury cars like and and I embrace that anytime a rich person gets the piss taken out of them it's cool you know me I mean don't don't do it to me all the time and speak up don't care about back here speaking up for to have nuts but now it seemed like you were just fighting for the civil rights of rich people lately yeah yeah I think it's the rights of everyone you know and another thing that I used to get really caught up on was with race you know what race is like okay we know we we know is racist people you know we know that a lot of white men over the age of 60 are racists we embrace that you know we know that a lot of people that are in power you know don't really you know they like they're like Donald sterling we we understand that we know that but the world is moving you know ten years from now twenty years or not every every you know person of color or female or any minority that comes into power will eventually shift it you know you you got the ozone later you got all the stuff you see it a hundred years from now the entire world might be black just to even survive on earth period you know now you mentioned you know you stood up for Beyonce people last you know you're standing from Beyonce you stand up for more than maybe your state or your own wife recently people been going at your wife crazy from the paper magazine cover they would say well why would she do that she has money is it just for fame is it just for Instagram if it's just for attention you know even Amber Rose came on the program a couple of days ago and she was fake you said your wife was fake how do you reply to all these people and what do you say to everybody cuz even with us when we seen on the cover it was kind of like you know Kim is filty you know she has a child she has a family why would she do that couple which-which question okay well one of the things that break in class is respected art can break glass so one of the things that shut up a lot of people is the fact that John Paul gu took the photograph that used to shoot Grace Jones and Grace Jones figure physique was as as new and different as Kim's physique was and you know our position of power we're not gonna accept the you know the physique that was that was given to us you know that that was told to us was the proper you know way to look you know my daughter has a chance of being shaped like my wife so until she between this age into the age where she's like that I'm gonna be fighting for that shape to be considered the highest of class or not the highest of class at least equal to what someone looks at like a skinny a skinny model for uh my first introduction one of my first introductions to to beauty was the Helmut Newton book this really big book and every woman and it was naked this is a straight photographer he did he did playboy and he do Saint Laurent ads and the highest level taste and I was really drawn to the beauty of the of the way the photographs are set up and to the fact that I was attracted to the women also I liked the two things at once I like I like the the physical attraction and I like the way that the shot was set up I think that with my wife you know it had been a lot of times earlier in her career where you know she didn't have the access to that level of photographer of course he's passed away now so now that she has the access to John Paul cool to Steven Klein of Merton Marcus I can name all the really high level Jackie knickers and all the high level photographers now you know it's important for her to stand I think for her to stand up you know and all of her glory and all her power now her power is in her is in her body is in a nudity or powers and of my powers in her family but body is one of the powers she gets older though well she's got she's got she got always had a bike but she's gonna have mine family and she's gone she's gonna create a legacy for which you know that you know you name all those brands and stuff with the hood don't know that's for the hood the hood is like carnac just tell you why she only got to get naked no mo but she could get negative she wants to is not illegal to get naked in you know and then you think about this like if adamant never ate the apple we all be naked so you hit us with that last time I still have to calm it down leave my wife alone and just chill out she's just soaking in the moment nobody feel Khepera do nothing if cam it like dated me when I first wanted to be where it wouldn't be Amber Rose you know I'm saying like you naked I wish I would I would have gladly happily have liked her she you know she she didn't why what because by the way it's like it's very hard for a woman to you know wanna know wanna be with someone that's what Amber Rose so she was sending nothing you know my god I take thirty showers before us Lee we can tell you on a business level do you feel the Kardashian brand has hurt Kanye West's brain now it's helped because it just showed like my ability to bring most Steph into the studio with jay-z my ability to bridge the gap to bridge you know somebody sent over this lunch table data fashion world y'all be cool and stuff somebody sent over this lunch table there's celebrity and butt they have a perception about that and and I show people the power of what happens when you work together and now you know Kim can sell a dress faster than any magazine cover and you've got her on the cover of Vogue which is something that we never thought was gonna happen the way the anime to our felt and how she had expressed that in the past what did she say she said something today right earlier today about bringing North West of the fashion shows that was alleged though they said allegedly she was saying that's not the proper place for a child you know yeah I can't speak on an alleged comments does it bother you when you see the news and they like North West was crying at the Fashion Show I mean she's a baby row it's your fashion show yeah yeah I mean think about it no one could tell me what I had my child in that you know I got forward I'm they cried no you can't tell me we're not the crowd they gonna cry Dame Dash into Beatty Awards Beatty honest why didn't present you with that award because he presented me to the world you know I wouldn't have my I wouldn't have a record deal if it wasn't for Dame - I was got first conversation because at one time he ATG and I wasn't and this is an extremely visionary move on my part to move in you know why this whole get the credit in the Big Brother records I mean I mentioned Dame a lot of raps but you know the the story is not done you know sometimes it's been moments where like I was wiling out you know da bobba bobba and jail be like okay yeah you just got to sit this down right now sit these couple plays out and you know it was the moment when you know Rockefeller Rockefeller split it made more sense for me career-wise to Touro with Jay even though Dame had had supported me yes supported me man and I wonder I say where would we be you know fire row we would Dame but we have been would I've been more successful what I've been less that's right you know I can't I can't say but at that time you know I you know I came to Rockefeller because jay-z was my idol right and it would have been very hard for me you know at that young state where I was to separate from my idol you know a nice decision I made at then do I say that there was some disloyalty or not yeah I own up to that is it anything to me and Dame could do together now to make money I think so well I do a little company right yeah we're gonna work on films and actually I really like the films that he's doing he had all type of ideas and they're like Dame is like the original original person who understood culture and really was in it in every situation we're going you know beans had a problem go you know pick beans up with if something you know you have us on a jet with them you know talking to us direct talking to me and GLC directly now talking to me about GLC with the film company like you know we got to put out GLC album you know just kind of remind what you know similar to what you were saying the last time we was talking about having like the realities you got a definitely stated aims at real absolutely you know so and when you came over the crib and I just saw him and I I missed a man I miss you know I miss the good I missed the bad yeah I missed you know all of that because all of that is what created college dropout that tension all of that is work creatively registration you know we we creating something new now in the fashion world and in the film world realize that you still have a love for music the reason I say that because I don't know who we were talking to was Tiger was talking to Tiger we was talking to someone outside and I heard a remix which there's so many different names like Kanye's in the studio whatever boys that the new guys always had may not even be next in the studio with you so you keep you speak they you know I just got a after work you know like I think a lot of times people get rich people comfortable could fall in love and everything you know I went to this Drake concert in Germany I flew to the constitute and he got this one line where you say like some about people be falling in love with famous girls and thought it on and a old to be working as much and he wrapped it and then when he rapped he knew I was in the car so you like look down and stuff over fashion yeah something like that but you know he was right you know saying I got to get on my job and that's why that's why I got on the internet bless hello I'm back and I'm saying like we back at the studio's times that you know I got to go pick them up pick my daughter up and take it to you know dance class in the morning and just you know I try to create a regiment but at least if I go to studio like six hours a day and it's funny is because when I when I first sat with Tiger like me and Virgil saying Tiger at the ball ma store and we knew he was fresh you know certain people they they have a certain talent with clothing a tiger ASAP rocky that's the thing certain people got certain talent with the bars of young thug Big Sean you know and I sat in the studio wit it was me thug Sean Travis tiger and I was just saying how we we got a we got a we got a bring our resources together we we had to see how we can help each other to make each other way fresher share information Bill have ciphers like back in the wu-tang air like people used to have ciphers so last night when I was working on all day at a q-tips house there's like me a vic mensa q-tip and we was just we was building on coach or coach or coach instead of trying to write bars we built on that and then I started writing the bars then they started coming and we just started bouncing ideas off each other so with me you know I'm only a humble servant you know if you if you if you have power you have to empower you had a power to get power when I said on the word Saum power does it there's no one man should have all that power is a true statement no one man has the power to power is in the people the people give you the power the people chose me to be the people's champ as soon as I go up talk about I me me me you lose that and you and then you got next generations you got no matter how hard I try Drake is gonna speak to a generation in a way that I might not have been at that same basketball game he was at that same high school game watch that same TV show went to that same Club Tigers gonna speak to a certain Big Sean's gonna speak to a certain generation and it's important for a revolution that comment said on that song you just want for its it's the youth and oh geez have to come together you need the energy of the youth you need the knowledge of the oh geez that's why before council young men for war that's why I sit with I said well puff I it would dame I said with Jay I said with Farrakhan and I talked to I talked to the OGS and try to you know figure out how we can help each other you know now with Tiger Commission the tiger executive reducing his album you feel like his relationship with your sister-in-laws inappropriate I think that that's a good question right there you know I'm saying I think that I think he I think he got in early I think he was smart they close they close in age than a lot of relationships that I know you know yeah I know Tiger was smart you know they were just friends I mean I supposed to say but yeah I can't speak bars songs you know cookout music that just feels good you know like my last time was a protest in music I was like I'm gonna take my ball and go home if y'all only gonna let me play where I wanna play it do clothes to do this mmm start shooting the ball real slow this is my beard to free-throw for a long time that was my whole album play I've known you got no music no I just litter I have a little music on homebound but that was it but this this time was just embracing the music embracing you know joy and just making you know being of service to the people you know I just hope that people like it enjoy you know is it now listen you um he's mr. Minister Farrakhan yeah now I also saw you say uh when use that the backstages grammars you said you didn't want to speak too much because you know want to jeopardize your clover line but a lot of people don't like to stand next to the minister because they feel like he jeopardize their business why are you not afraid to you know show your relationship with the minister you know it's interesting because I actually asked for the minister to give me my bt visionary award and he you know he felt like it wasn't the right time and maybe for reasons just like that you know right now I'm working on a documentary with him about him and about his his music you know that he's a classically trained violinist and he's also one of the most humane people and now you know he got that stamp in the same way like how my wife was you know stamped with the sex state you know the minister was stamped with the bigotry yeah and it's important that why he's still alive he has to see the people appreciate his message because if you ever hear him talk it's about humanity it's about one race you know soon as you hear his name I see people's faces like change they have a perception it's and you know it's a lot that I can learn from him you know perhaps you know you know maybe maybe the Minister mentioned BEC one too many times or something like that and it's things I can learn in my path of how to always keep my communication as open as possible because right now it's right at that tip where it's like yeah we got to have him cuz you know he's gonna bring some excitement to the Grammys and all that but you know we working on this documentary and it's amazing it talks it shows that he had like a white violin instructor but then he talked about because you know he was black I couldn't get the white instructor and there was no black instructors that can instruct him well enough and he talks about how he was asked to stop doing music you had to choose between the nation and music and then how the Honorable Elijah Muhammad asked him to come in one day to play the violin and he embraces his passion of music and uh you know is it's it's just a beautiful story about a beautiful soul that's very misunderstood and one of our most powerful you know messengers and it's very important that we we protect our messages it's very important that we support them you know you ministers very sharp you think it's kind of confusing know when he'll say you know negative things about Jewish people we didn't say we should learn from them that's kind of a confusing method oh you could yeah we definitely should learn from them we should learn from us I'm tired of the you know us in them us meaning we should learn from human beings yeah yeah I you know it's the first thing we don't do this I think stop racism and stop focusing on racism and I understand that if somebody going to work right now that has a white boss that's talking down to them because they're black and I'm not trying to deny that but I'm saying we understand that people there's different races you know be like light-skinned against dark-skinned and stuff it is it just slows down the conversation man you know like I don't know if it's a excuse me yeah yeah it does I was going to light-skinned yeah yeah so I also every um met people are human being so everything this man says when I talked to him everything he says pretty much correct but I've said everything a per se is not gonna be correct you know every move a person make is that gonna be well time but sometimes those missed eye moves can inspire the next generation like pop used to say he said I might not change the world I'm inspired somebody changes the world when I think about okay I wanna do surround vision I wanna do my movie theater I want to do my clothing line I want to do this I you know my goal is man maybe there's a four-year-old let's go see that and cure cancer one day maybe we could keep the view if your job is inspiration you have to keep pushing that at all costs because you never know who's gonna be inspired by that and a lot of reasons why I'm successful now is because the people who work with me now grew up on a college dropout you know before when I was going in years ago everyone they listen to rock they like Bruce Springsteen they like they don't even know about the college dropout so now now they know what we brought to the table and they wanna they want to be a part of this yeah this this movement in a way now last year when it was a so much racial tension and um you know the police brutality and stuff like it's almost like evil wanted you to say something were you were you purposely you know falling back from being vocal about the Mike Brown situations and things like that yeah my dad would email me and say out of it and now my dad is like a thousand times smarter than me and a thousand times more social than me he like literally lived at a homeless shelter right you know and he emailed me he told me stay out of it that's my only parent you know so I have to listen to a why sometimes I think he's just trying to be protective of his son you know I can't run in front of every bullet you know it's it it's I just can't run in front of every single bullet is it in the music for this out maybe oh yeah we definitely yeah you know I'm always gonna you know talk about you know what's going on like Marvin Gaye would say it's definitely gonna be in I think 80 percent I'm trying to get it finished I'm trying to get it to the people you know as soon as possible how you gonna lease it is gonna be like a play it up yeah why don't you per several these days has played out so yeah so the surprise is gonna be a surprise they go to surprise no surprise soft whisper Michael Jackson voice comes from it debuted on the Kris Jenner show a couple more than that where did that come from man don't know no nobody wants like the worst thing the thing that America doesn't want okay yeah America in the world antagonized black man you know cuz you know black men aren't any minute in their own country in a not in power above all the size so you can see getting poked at but the thing that they hate the most is the angry black man even though they could cause you to be angry they hate that and you know if you could just understand how to not get angry in a boxing match you know if you get angry you lost you know so this is this is a match of life a match of of culture and if I'm angry all the time I've already lost you know scientists need to stop being angry and people say yeah what does he have to be angry about I got enough to be happy about to focus on that to not be angry about something plus it helps you work better when call right hood wants to know this is a bothersome question does Beyonce and Kim have a problem it seems like the question mark all the time nah they love each other they respect each other when I when I went Beyonce's working on how she has like pictures of Kim on the wall because Kim represents you know powerful women you know you know can it's like be playing what's the song I know you can't with 7-eleven playing a video playing for our daughter you know that's not the only picture on the wall right no some other but it's definitely you know they definitely respect each other but it's aw you know maybe there's a LeBron James Kobe element to it but I ain't say that but yeah I was gonna say that I'm not good but the bad good okay you know obviously she's gonna be spoiled because we're her parents but does it concern you that you want to make sure she's like got some type of you know street sense or anything like that do you even think about that yeah she did oh oh her and her big you know her my friends would calling her uncle's no uncle's definitely gonna put on and definitely you know it's this toy I wish I know what's the name of the brand of the toy game the that what's the name of the store we went to yes sir Sweet William they got these toys that my daughter got Vanessa Beecroft that did the the fashion show she bought my daughter three wolves and she saw Dee because I would see toys that people would see and I'll be like giving out like these toys is week she gotta have better toys than this right right and sure enough when she got these wolves from from this toy store she was going crazy this is the happiest I ever seen her right so of course me I mean I'm gonna go and buy every single toy there and I was just having a conversation with my wife yesterday like okay so we can't give all these toys oh okay just walk in and just give him all the toys and once she said we'll just give him off for a perfect we can't give him she can't even have everything for a birthday I'm gonna have to like piece this out you know so I am very conscientious about the idea of someone being you know to spoil cuz I think I've been spoiled in the passing nobody son wolves came from I'm always thinking about wolves for some reason that's that's always been on my mind let's go back to game first thing I'm just gonna head give y'all a sound bite to child want I'm just gonna head say it where the wolf song came from the wolf Psalms go ahead say it and and cuz maybe this will promote it happening so I'm gonna put it out in the real world the wolf song came from a conversation that me and Drake had when we was gonna do album together and I was called Wolf's Jay would've been pissed off about that no I said not specifically he said no cuz me and you already started that yeah so and that's what happened me and Jay started talking about Watch the Throne and Drake went and did all the records with Wayne and did the tour and we never did it but I just went out and put it in in the eat put it out on the world you yeah I don't like it then y'all can send it right back yes awesome and we talked about and he said yeah he's gonna do it and actually you know we get he was sent in beats back and forth you know I got this one record with young thug's I think I'm gonna put on rihanna album i'm not giving a lot of information nobody's relationship affect any relationship anybody need to just have a good relationship you know we all I don't you know I you know if anything you know we all helped each other at a certain point and you know we all see each other at certain point the USA still have a girlie show because you know you said that was your idol but you know yeah you work hard to your idols become your rivals man that's I wouldn't be sitting here today right now for one Jay Jay Jay helped me period in every single way that you can think you know whether it was like holding me down when I'm in New York I'm gonna do with the pink polo and a bad attitude yeah and I'm still here yep Jay Z I don't know might happen cuz I threw that out don't do it man you know by the way you probably be mad that I mention you know y'all y'all shows us you like dislike show so much so is it true that one time you was in a restaurant and some when you had to pink back in the pink polo Dave robbed you yeah yeah that's true yeah do you feel like you may all be any something for that I'm not I'm not I'm not gonna put out some you know some let me see yay got media training you know on papers let me think about how mercy this one okay I know this is gonna sound like somewhat politically correct answer like one of these politicians I'm an okay but you know I owe every hip-hop artist in a way and I don't mean for you to come to you know house the street and stand in front of my apartment you know I owe I owe hip-hop mmm you know just like saying like bit Horowitz is like the only VC on San Fran that like believes in rap you know he gave NAS a piece of you know rap genius and all that you know he used to be in a rap group but you know we all owe hip-hop and I believe that I do have the ability that I believe imma be the head of the first trillion dollar company and once you're percent when I get to that point you know no rapper would ever have to worry about that's whatever have to worry about anything again you know my plan is to be coming one by one Big Daddy Kane become his crib you know everybody crib and you know how to hip-hop reparations yeah exactly like the Forrest Gump moment you know when it got Apple they came day by like IO every you know hip-hop artist because I wouldn't have made it this far without without all of them and I'm saying look I mean look at my daughter's name you know that's hip-hop names nor we know you're the only one nori was tweeting um I think he's talking about he's are you talking about his daughter like nori thoughtful only only one has nothing to do it Noriega uh but you know but everything else in my life does Drake had a little issue and you know push it was was hurt because you came out at over yo fess yeah we got over it she put out an amazing album like she's very talented but it seems like you don't support her but you don't stand by her like you should maybe you know I don't support her enough I need to do more I need to rap on some remixes I need to go shoot some videos a lot of times it just you know when you focusing on clothing you focus on your family you focusing on all these different things you know it's hard to put all the focus you know but yeah I do need to put some more focus on I haven't put enough focus to her you are true Jim two weeks ago you was one rushing the stage calling out back and far from humble and now you're just like humble it seems like no foot of music like brought out Fetty WAP when he was performing at his show with a Jersey artist that's pretty and it's telling me that you back to that element of music again and that's what people are excited about yeah and I was able to get you know what's so funny is like right after I did the fashion show I went to go shoot the blessings video with Shan Shan and I was so happy hmm I'm so happy to be able to go do that and I used to be resentful of having to do music but because I was able to now I can take a piss you know it's like it might tell you just do one yeah so you know I'm just happy to just keep creating and just inspire people through through through joy and accomplishment and like with the adidas thing they gave me a little bit of oxygen like I couldn't breathe that was looking at a person suffocating I got at least I got some ideas out maybe that's 10% 5% of what I really want to do like I want to be supported by Disney in the same way how I Dida supported me I want Disney Imagineering to support my ideas and the same energy that Fashion Week had in that same front row and all that Bob Iger I'm telling you I'm um imma bring that I know and you know right now our brands might not mix but like I'm a family man thank you for frozen that's like a second nanny I think yeah I don't even know if it's uh I don't even wanna give myself any form of a title anymore I'm not calling myself genius and I call myself a visionary any title only thing I could say that is I'm a servant you know I want to serve and if I can get a group of amazing designers together to create something to be able to serve the public and that's my job I'm just a humble servant how do we know you're telling us the truth and you're not just being politically correct connect well you know I'm never politically correct you know I was just speak from my heart of exactly where I'm at at that time you know now recently you said that when you first got with Kim you lost a lot of friends why was that new what were your friends that you lost you know when I said that in an interview I said I said so-called friends yeah getting to know that you know saw this should we let him sit at the table should we not let him sit at the table but there were some people in fashion that did stand biased this Korean Rothfeld is Riccardo Tisci that you know even even Anna Wintour they they were part of the ante Kimye move you know they were standing in the on the front line when there was an antique in a dungeon and now that they're here every meeting any meeting any dinner they have there but like man see I told y'all I was the one that was you know like Ricardo dressed Kareem put on a magazine and I put on a magazine so that that statement it was a little bit out of context because it wasn't everybody okay but there was a lot of people and so be it they was wrong and we was right yeah I know no yeah I've never held a grudge anyway you know messed up his whole day after the interview with the breakfast that was beautiful man at least that happened like you know at least let the house way I know use mad at you get that part you got you got me souped up and stuff you charged me up for that joint but you know it's like he really didn't have answers you know that was there was a correct I wasn't correct what he was saying you know I kinda said it in a calmer way but it was he was misinformed you Kanye and as you can see for yourself well I needed to help because still now I got like one of my head designers worked in Margiela for a while one of the girl worked on the shoes worked a Celine you know I've been pulling that talent from a place that was only for the four thousand dollar jacket lines to a place that we're gonna be delivering shoes at $200 $100 we might get some shoes down to $60 I mean we've we've got to flip this whole thing on his head it's a new idea of a apparel and they got information and I had to ask them I had to be humble I had to beg to go to dinners and I had to explain to them why you know why should we work with you yeah how we know you just met you know another celebrity it's gonna wear a leather jacket are you gonna diss this in public you know you know and it's been a long journey and now we we we've gained some ground and I can I can give some you know dope to the people but these people are knowledgeable man they went to the Yale of my you know of fashion how many speaking these are the experts and you're trying to learn from them to get better in the fashion yeah I hate when people be talking about I just designed a restaurant I just designed like man look like you design and take the e logos off the Kardashians on a percentage it is that was turn I'm really happy I did that man that was like really ignorant yeah yeah because things happy because they got more ratings and by the way that the my opinion from someone that's knowledgeable you know what's offensive to me is uh you know over brand and all that that's that's too much man that's not futuristic man I Center now and in the past they gotta be forward man he we got to promote forward ideas man because the beauty is important and beauty was important you know my wife wouldn't be so famous you know that wasn't for beauty the Kardashians wouldn't be famous if I've said that can come over this zone but they beautiful young people want to be that beautiful I'm you know obviously they connect to some business sense because they all you know successful family and all you know multimillionaires and one thing I think about with me is look how long it's taken me to turn any of my friends to a multi-millionaire Kim did it like that she did it out the gate she was like oh you gonna take Khloe you'll take Kourtney we would take Kourtney boyfriend we're gonna take the kids we're gonna take this and we all go be millionaires like that you know like reality is like rap it's so futuristic it's the new you know like my wife is a visionary at the end of day like I said I wanna make skits and be like what did you do kick I don't know nobody else that it success successful at what she's doing that's her now um I want only got a couple more questions do you was only one therapeutic feel like they did bring you to tears in the studio maybe oh yeah yeah 100% and it bring brought my wife to tears anybody I play it for and people ask me why did I why did I go only one over all day well only one made me feel like me it made me feel like this was the song I had to play you know back in the studio of Cam'ron and Jim Jones did you who ever played thirty you know Dipset records what am i what am I gonna play to be the pink polo what am I gonna play this gonna stand out what what point do I have what that was my problem my issue I have once I got which I love cruel summer I think it's amazing but I felt like I started sort of you know blending in with the pack and in it in a way you know with a record like clique which is a great clique I mean it was a great song we still perform it but it's important for me to innovate and even like with the Drake I think here tell you it's like it's important to have a yeast as I was important to have whatever this next thing is because you know he can you you need vibes from all directions you need innovators my job and life is to innovate I think the only one is the innovative record I think 4/5 is innovative record I think wolves is a less innovative but it's the third proposition this year of town if wolf sounds like you know 808 sub it it sounds like signature Kanye Post 808 Drake world you know record doesn't run all you got a proper run on so you crazy my grandmother who I loved doing she was my second mom she passed away and I had a dream about it it was like she was talking to me in my dreams I wonder if you had like a vision of your mother speaking to you maybe that caused that record yeah that's exactly what is I didn't realize I said and I don't even know exactly it is literally like those movies you see where it's like somebody talks to I murmured that and I realized after the fact I said only one and my name kind gave my mother named me that it means only one it that's the meaning of my name then after the song was out my cousin Abigail which I promised I got you some shoes I'm looking for size six they run a little bit big but said you know that I a grandmother my mom used to say now I lay me down to sleep I pray the Lord my soul to keep before she put me to bed and my grandmother actually named me Omari which is the first line hello Mari so I realized at that point that they were both talking to me it wasn't just my mom that my grandmother was speaking to me so you get these generations so right now I'm working on a video game for only one and the idea is it's my mother going through the gates of heaven and you got to bring it to the highest gates to heaven by holding her to the light and you know we've been working on it for like six months that way you kept the light floored the Grammy cut out the first thing I didn't like you know nah it was supposed to be more smoke on it and the practice version was better and I wasn't completely satisfied with the visuals on the on the Grammys you know that's why I turned up on SNL visuals I was like they can't play I know I'm not playing these visuals got a hurt together yeah I read an article where they compare you to John Lennon as Paul McCartney ever said anything to you about that nah but we talked about any and everything but I do think that there is like the angst that I feel the you know the angst that I feel from the world and I feel from like you know what people are going through in Chicago what people are going through financially the angst what people are going through with just you know I feel like John felt like that and when I got past the Gucci store they got past how cool my jacket was I finally was like the song says the man I always knew you could be but I became like a protector a dad a husband I finally you know could stand up and stand for something right you know but we appreciate you joining us many new improved media training yeah yeah happy to be here I think the Charlemagne man absolutely what did I say I said a guy that's so easy to like but he makes it hard to wanna like him but just a couple antics but that's part of being human right yeah all right ladies and gentlemen it's the brothers Club good morning
