Junkyard Mustang gets new life and Shakes the building!

hey what's going on guys so my buddy cotterpin he brought his Mustang down and we're gonna go ahead and make some tugs on it I'm pretty excited to get this thing on the roller and see what it'll do it's cars no joke cotterpin worked for me many years ago he's just a rad tech he actually runs a Mack truck now pretty stoked for him on that and I'd like to see what him and his wife Jen I kind of created over the winter this cars pretty special they raised a lot of psca races small-tire mustang turbocharged LS powered so some of you may hate but some of you may be really like that fix the problem I lovely rap on that thing just JIT it's pretty wicked yeah it's wicked what do you feel about it goofy boy it's awesome yeah nostalgic her Mustang is just a testament they literally took it out of the junkyard fully built this thing and it just it came out just gorgeous yeah it's fast yeah so without further ado let's get it in here yes look at this bad boy [Music] [Music] [Music] rock star looks good man but these are the down pipes max made so it's a Max's last name how do you pronounce his last name I always read C notice how to pronounce it Besser so max Besser made these down pipes and this is that wrong Besser sir for real so max Besser so max Besser ER so our buddy max he made this Y pipe out of this well he made this downpipe and he made this crossover tube going into the turbo and that turbo is just huge what size is that bad boy 88 millimeter rock blender well yeah I mean I looked at that too it's awesome and it's a 55 GT 55 88 millimeter and it's an LS 2200 CC injectors pretty simple 799 truck heads Stockport's valve springs equal cranky garage areas Pistons nothing special I like that that Holly's pretty nice huh yeah pretty awesome it's pre awesome cars out on this I can open it up you got a big intercooler in there might like it it's all business right or you party in the rear this rap turned out so I mean the rust turned out so good a lot of patina right and I and I said earlier before you guys were here you guys rescued this out of the junkyard right I think this thing was it was dead and in the yard yeah so he he had another Mustang with this setup in it and he had an engine let go put oil under the tire lost it do you guys got that video up on YouTube all right I'll put the link right there [Music] and you guys can check it out kind of a treat for you guys and kind of a cheap for us so it's cool and something really fun comes by it is awesome and your YouTube is creaky customs right so I think with the K and I'll put a link in the description down there Jeff Mullen did all the cage work in this one yeah turned out good though and it's all 25 v Jeff Mullen helped me on the the bully as well with all the chassis stuff on that he's super good between him Max and cotterpin they got a monster here so when she's at the track she'll use this table right here to do a timed ramp keep the car settled down and get traction and then take off and here on the dyno we just want to know what its gonna make so we're gonna flatten out the whole line she's a super tuner if you can't go okay perfect so these guys big dog wraps gave this thing that rat-ass turned out so good it's good you can see this is pretty simple a log tight manifold that comes down you need this crossover tubes and comes into the turbo out of the turbo and then divides teeth side and what these pointed up it actually helps hold the nose down and being divided like that it'll keep the car from being pushed one way or another on the wall because when you pass the walls with straight out pipes you'll actually feel the car get pushed one way or another if it's not balanced and equal is this on a turbo 400 Powerglide two-speed turbo 400 from who's it from aaron gain [Applause] so it's all we go legit now we're concentrating on that make sure that doesn't split apart you know my what are we worried about splitting apart I'll split the last time we're at the trick let's split all the way along the bottom on the bottom will what comes in three mm because we had the problem with mine and I ended up putting a breather in it going out yeah I put one on here cuz I didn't have one on here you laughing I was like you know I have was the the one we use for the cars were water pumps for the radiators yeah missing your misery about one that maps to the box a big box it was putting too much pressure in it well we were wondering about this that's way better over here I check I checked everything on the motor we're doing gym maybe just so if you're at okay then a boost or 60 or 60 it's not bad on the motor 488 where you guys know yeah 488 4 6 yeah might we split the tank no ice so what did you forget on that one co2 co2 you need that part it's got 2 pounds spring in the wastegate so yeah yeah you don't even think we made it there no I don't think yeah well attempt number 2 will happen soon [Music] [Music] [Laughter] yeah we just got to spray him a little bit yeah that's knocking out of the car so this is supposed to be the low boost right no he told the aborted I don't know what it was gonna be named but he aborted it oh oh you got you log it yeah so target boost was 25 and right here's almost like to see it so it overshot it like 3 pounds no yeah maybe a little bit right here from here to here either that or a the tires and then you'll get a really good picture it definitely sounded like it was sound it sounds like pinky rose yeah yeah it was shaking okay he knows what he's looking for now - you want me back out of this a little bit and kind of get it better yeah with Howard just sure way it shot right here when it matches the dyno gravity does here and that's how and that's how you party right there this may be the end of this murder just just take lessons from Jen she knows how to party what 38 pounds all right we'll give you put 45 no no no I like to race it tomorrow I'd like to but from that pole I don't 25:5 yeah because we didn't even get a good reading at that because you had to get out of it you had to abort it it was on a sea it was you might as well find the window it was on a different mission that time than this so so what we're thinking is it's got too much back pressure so it's still on the top end with how much boost pressure itself Roxy on lower the boost and we may increase the power which it looks like yeah it looks like that's where it was head in the last [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] great thousand eighty-three is still fell off but it came up higher [Music] it's no the tail lights off who needs two lights yeah you got glue right well I glued it on last year rat killed boots earlier and then we gave you some money back no at the track when you do oh yeah I'm sorry so you probably have that peak moved over because you brought it in later so bring the boots and later its engines less full and you probably make more peak lay before the group stretch the ramp out like actually and then it felt away but then it fell off yeah where did it fall feet down and then started holding steady at 25 points you did shoot up to 31 and then it fell to 28 but see it fell off and you were still in full throttle at that point I believe the blue line $25 pole okay I'm getting rid of this I just wanted to see where his pedal is right okay so the purple ones the blue straight yeah well purple boost yeah the blue is the line booth get rid of the blue the route booth booth up at the top they air for air fuel so the light blue is what we asked that to do the purple is what it did so if you think of the engine as a funnel and you filled the engine or you filled your exhaust full of air or you filled your funnel full of fluid you know you have to get it out so if you can't get it out fast enough you have to pour slower or later so you put it in later and we shouldn't get that peak but you could make more power later was it fall enough well because overshoot only have it overshot the exhaust pressure is probably super full and so you got a bunch of dead air just like you know when you're filling a funnel you put a bunch fluid in it pours out the top right same thing okay so if you feel later you might peak more out here that's where we're talking trying to boot the ramp in okay see you like that and it's int it is I always like to double check though cuz yeah crazy but I'll close the program I'll reopen it and make sure it reads the same yeah pull from you see you yeah and yeah then access programs we are good to go [Music] wait [Music] [Music] it was heading somewhere it was going somewhere good though yeah we let it cool a little spray the tires oh yeah the same thing yeah it was just a way better path you were on the oh yeah [Music]
