lady who drove off flatbridge going back and forth back and forth until she drove the vehicle over took our own life look here god can god can god can this morning and we're gonna pray for those that are depressed those that are burdened down and if you're burdened out this morning i want you to believe that god can and he will we're gonna put this service before almighty god that every word that will go forth this morning will be from the throne room of almighty god it will reach our hearts and at the end of the service someone will be drawn closer to god souls will be saved this morning as encourage us god we pray god you will be offense around us god we pray that you will just embrace us one more time god in your loving arms lord god you see every heartache glory god you see every pain aim and determination is to worship him how in spirit and in truth because we've got to worship him in spiritual truth for he seeks such praise hallelujah we magnify your jesus at this time i'm going temple praise god they never had much to give they never have nothing more to give but what they have to give they give it which was more than sufficient which was more than enough it's a silver and gold have i known but such as i have given thee in the name of jesus christ of nazareth i don't know what your situation is this morning but i'm here to tell you that in the name of jesus christ of nazareth amen god is able to deliver you god is able to set you free god is able to work a work you know you say i must work the works of him that sent me while this day the night cometh when no man can work so i greet every saint this morning in the mighty name of jesus i want to greet every person who is online praise god who are in their house worshiping god this morning i know you probably wanted to come out amen but you couldn't make it out this morning for whatever the reason is but the good thing about our god is that he's omnipresent he's everywhere present which means that if you declare the name of jesus in your house right now you can feel his presence just like we are feeling his presence here amen so wherever you're watching want to thank you for tuning this morning and we pray god that's at the end of the service that you will be blessed you'll be blessed you'll be blessed you know there is always a word in season and the bible says in saint john 17 17 that we must sanctify them through thy truth because his word is truth and the good thing about this is word his word is wrapped up in his name so when we get the word we get the name and we get the presence of god we get the power of god so i want to thank you for watching and for tuning in amen by way of announcement this morning i want to first see that those students who who borrowed books from the office a men who borrow textbooks and they use them for school if you're finished with them we're going to ask you to please return them to the office as soon as possible you know that we try to have this thing going where we can help as our young people as much as possible so those who don't have the text don't be selfish try to bring them back if you're finished with them so that other persons be able to use them as well also reminder that there's bible study on wednesday amen there's bible study on wednesday a prime meeting premier starts at six and bible study at seven uh also persons who going forward i know bishop would have known this but persons who want to come to service going forward what i want to ask you to do because you know we are limited right now we can only have 50 people we should have only 50 people here and we don't want to go against amen the laws of the land it means we don't want to get ourselves in any trouble so what i'm going to ask you to do is to ensure that you call in amen and the first 30 persons who call in because we have to leave space for 20 people you know the choir it's not quite the spirits team the musicians the media team and so on and visitors outside of that though the first 30 persons who call into the office amen those are the persons who will be allowed to come and even those 30 there's still a requirement that the office will tell you about amen so we are going to ask you that you amen stick to that so if you know that you're not a part of that list if we didn't call we're going to ask you not to show up until things change amen but ask you not to show up if you want to come give a call to the office amen and the first thirty so if the office tell you that we are full it means that they are full and we can't go beyond that praise god everybody praise god also there will be youth service on friday amen i want to ensure that if you can you tune in to our youth service and support our young people online amen back to school and we didn't bargain for it but both of them choose to go i know i was there saying what i'm going to do knowing that it's online class and the first thing could come to my mind is to borrow my tights and offer it and make it up but then borrowing my titan off and i don't know where it's coming from and but i was so wasn't thinking at that time and you know you just wanted to get it over and i remember calling any of you in canada and tell him about it and him said that uncle if you could just call a couple days my sister coming to jamaica i would make to bring one for you and you know start i feel a little disappointed but that wasn't the lord's plan and while i i started to make his and sees everything go and still have it in mind to borrow my tights i don't know where the money is coming from to pee about the next month and i went downtown and i went to all the stores who sell its laptop and couldn't think about the tablet so no because i didn't have that money but i just want to get over the big one going to university and while i was there and every store away they don't have no they don't want no hope tone they don't have any they do already it's an it's it's um i supposed to clear x time come back next time and i was there back and forth back and forth back and forth and time is going and she needed it and while i was there there's a comeback wednesday never turn up a wednesday turn on a friday there's a comeback friday and i've been actually for a moment back and forth and i remember when i went into the store the lord just stopped in my truck and said that you want to be delivered you want to be delivered and a stop if you want to be delivered release your tithes and afraid just like that and i met all the store and i said yes god i heard you but you know that i'm not a person who steal my tights you know the needs god i repent and i went to him and i said to my wife say i didn't buy the hearts if they have the tablet the lord said that if i want to be blessed i must release my thoughts on our friend and i did it and i went to the friday and the the saturday morning we had devotion and while finishing up devotion i uh my wife got a phone call it was from england to god be the glory hallelujah we serve an untimed god and i don't know if it's my my my brother wife carla is my brother my wife brother carl but one of one of those out of the two car and said that we sent the money for him to buy the tablet to buy the the laptop and to god be the glory that sent the money just right enough and i could release my tithes and offering door i repented there and i know that it was the mighty hand of god who's talking to me and i was release it because the devil wanted to have me bone to steal god money but god was in the midst hallelujah god said i know my heart and you know the third week my wife was online pta meeting and she heard about some some tablets at the school at the youngest daughter's school and my wife went up there investigate and she said i need to survive principal and the vice principal came up and she said i hope i heard something about some tablets i want to know it girl and she said well the whole girls gave us our summer montage tablets to give those who we need and you're just only pr you're just a contribution of four thousand dollars to god be the glory she had that four thousand dollars and everybody said for school who could that be and if you are hearing the stoning of my voice i'm telling you to release god tight on our friend i repented so i can say it release god tie it on our friend glory if you want to be blessed if you want to be delivered release it you know so many people getting laid off these are caught salaries are caught and so many cutting and no increase and it's tough time we are living in but may i assure you that god is able it is no secret what god can do what he has done for you for all of us he can do it for us again he can do it because he's a same yesterday today and forever hallelujah we just want to give god thanks god still seen us too god will continue to be our provider god will continue to open doors thanks be to god god has been good god has been good i just can't complain and while i call to come and call it the morning our friend i'm asking you to just give unto the lord give unto lord if you want to be blessed if you want to be blessed surely caesar sang a song pay your tithe on your offering and that is so true and she goes i look further give unto the poor and the lord will bring it back to you bless the lord bless lord he just wanted thank you for your love towards god father god we are so unworthy we should have died you should have cut us off but because of your extended mercy god towards us father god the unto peter and the rest of the apostles men and brethren what shall we do amen and peter declared the word he said repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of jesus christ for the remission of sins and he shall receive the gift of the holy ghost that was about 2000 years ago but i'm grateful that the name of jesus amen is still being affected in baptism till this very day and this morning we have a baptism you know we spoke about somebody getting the holy ghost online this morning we have a baptism and we want to share with the world that god is still doing our work in this season amen god is still doing our work in this season are you had about are you glad about that this morning amen god is not houses are not short that you cannot save amen and what the devil thought i'm about to speak god i have no strength in myself god i pray you may use me for your purpose god we only say what you would have me to say god that self be slain completely lord i pray oh god that if there's any truth or god to what i say lord that it may be applied to somebody's heart that they will not sin against you that they will come out better for hearing the word of god lord move acts chapter 28 31 let's read together preaching what the kingdom of god and teaching those things which concern the lord jesus christ with all confidence no man forbidding him praise god the next scripture i wanted you to turn to as you are seated you may be see this is acts chapter 29 verse 1. acts chapter 29 verse 1. have you found it have you found it no well if you haven't found it look yourself in the mirror or look to the person on your left amen you are acts chapter 29 whereas one two three took the person you're right that's acts chapter 29 praise god that's when i read another portion of scripture which everybody has probably been aware of even in the world i'm just reading in your hearing exodus 20 and god speak all these words saying i am the lord thy god which have brought thee out of the land of egypt out of the house of bondage thou shalt not have what no other gods before me thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above or that is in the earth beneath or that is in the water under the earth thou shalt not bow down thyself to them nor serve them for i the lord thy god i'm a jealous god visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children upon unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me and showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments praise god so i just want to give god thanks for his mercy these greetings to everybody who's here today i know the extension has allowed more persons to come into the house of god and we're grateful for that i don't know how long it will last but it doesn't really matter much there's always 23rd gathered together and i want to give god thanks for that greetings bishop greetings to our leaders and of course there's also a great everybody who's here and everybody who's watching if you're watching for the first time welcome welcome hope god speaks to you through something that's said today praise god now this word it is for everybody but it's not for everybody i don't know how to put it but i'm not i'm sure that you're going to get something from what is said today now we started with the book of acts and i've been reading a lot more trying to get some more understanding and i'm seeing people online talking about the book of acts it's just a narrative book and i'm like this don't make any sense in fact acts is not just a narrative book it is a a model for christian behavior it tells you how to to act or to think how to work as a christian so if you you're looking and you want to know how to become a christian all you have to do is do one read the book of acts if you want to know how do i get salvation you turn to the book of acts so we know that you know matthew mark luke john those are nice books and it talks about christ's ministry but the book of acts shows christ to you and it shows christians and the actions that christians have so i'm i'm asking you not just to see the book of acts anymore as a little history book what the actual guideline as to how we should behave as normal christians so this kind of blew my mind as i read and i realized this is all normal christians operated and if you read the book of acts this way you scratch your head and you wonder you know maybe some of the things that we read is just normal because when we look at it you know peter and the apostles they found it normal to see ah sort of miracles and crazy things happening around them you know they weren't surprised when you know people were healed and the sick recovered and they weren't surprised when the difficulties came and the church started to grow when they got under persecution they weren't surprised when they laid hands and people recovered or immediate healing started to happen it was just normal for them and the kingdom of god was evident because they had a kingdom lifestyle and this was just the normal way for them to operate now i believe that god is calling us back to operate more like what we read in this particular book this book is something that should be lived out not just read and i spoke about acts chapter 29 being something that is written or being written even now in your life and my life the volumes cannot be contained because there's so many volumes euros mind somebody down the road there's so many but it is being written now all we need to do is just conform our life to what is written and what we read and one of the reasons why we probably don't see some of the moves that used to be seen but then is simply because we don't conform our lives to what we read and that's what i want to focus on today because god is using every single moment every single thing to get us to reflect the kingdom of god so that we can look more like him walk more life came so that our lifestyle he's trying to change it and he wants to become you know want us to become so much more hungry for him and wants so much more of him that we completely change everything about ourselves just to reflect the kingdom of god in fact he's trying to change our very nature to make us a a new creation i think a few weeks ago minister still he spoke about a beautiful example i think it was of a sheep and um and um what was the other animal of a goat and how god changed us in you know from go to she but i wanted to take it close you know i look a bit deeper because it's a beautiful example but i'm thinking i'm thinking that some people were some some people were already nice sheep you know you could have pet they wanna be themselves somebody must go them you know stubborn let them change after a little while but i heard a story that then it touched me it was about a sheep and the shepherd and i think a wolf and the wolf kept coming out of the forest and trying to get rid of the sheep and eat them and the shepherd grew tired of it as a shepherd set a trap and the box captured the wolf and no matter what the shepherd did every time the shepherd you know come and poke him and say be myself do this to the same still come back out and escape and try to go at the wolves but the beautiful part about it is that it's as likeness to what salvation process is some of you worship and probably go but i know i was a wolf hallelujah and what god did was he took that wolf and changed the wolf into a sheep and sometimes they see a wolf nature the sinful nature try to write itself up and god of course said no man the world will fish naturally you need to change your god for just put you back into the sheep and change us again you see you wonder you have been changed and if you're here unsaved you can be changed into a new creature you can become a member of this kingdom that i keep talking about but as it relates to this kingdom there seems during that last couple of months to to have how do i put it some other little kingdoms seem to be popping up around us some some idols and i want to know where have these things come from how did another kingdom end up infiltrating god's kingdom and see the position that we currently are in no as a body as a church as as people it's linked to the idols from these kingdoms that have slowly and silently crept into our midst i know i'm talking to somebody online or even here why you think that you're in this situation that we're in no hear me under the holy ghost please god is seeking one last occasion to get rid of the idols for people to turn away from these kingdoms hallelujah one more chance to turn away and to give up your passport from those other kingdoms you can't have dual citizenship to remove your citizenship from them and come over into the kingdom of god and god is using the lockdown uncovered 19 and all of these things as an opportunity to show you that he is god and that he wants to be god over the kingdoms of your life lift up your hands and worship him hallelujah hallelujah if you're online just say amen type amen if you agree with me so he's using this pandemic plan to make whatever they make you want to call it don't matter he's going to use it just get some of these kingdoms destroyed and this is the last days and the move that god is about to do will have that part of it where the kingdoms begin to fall down and the idols begin to crumble well you see the thing is we god wants to do the movie now but we have to tear down these things out of our very lives amen even today if you look back in the history books whenever the church came under some severe situations some persecution the gospel just spread fast and the same thing is happening our prayer for our government yes during the time and we seem to have ease up a little bit on us what persecution is reaching it's not church as usual and the enemy thinks that he's going to get the victim god is going to do a mighty move through it some idols are going to come down now the book of acts it's it started out and it says it's written to theophilus no theophilus is a title or a name i'm not sure which one but it's a title or a name that simply means friend of god or beloved or loved of god or loving god in the greek and i think about it and i said okay so this book wasn't written to everybody was written for just somebody who loved or loves god or is loved by god and jesus said he commanded these things to be done he wasn't begging or asking he commanded that those who really love him would do what is written in this book and teach what is written in this book and god is calling you and is calling me right now to do something that is bigger than me and bigger than you one bigger than bishop i'm bigger than even faith chapel he's calling you and me into the kingdom of god amen where god rules but the sad thing to say is that the kingdom start look messy and start look dirty and i don't understand why the kingdom looked a little weird it's just the first few months we started to notice it and not nobody none of us are without excuse every one of us top to bottom left to right it don't matter but the devil has managed to sneak in as i said some little kingdoms and idols under the quiet times preventing the move that god wants to do in your life and mind is it's holding by the hand of god from completely accomplishing his plans for us and you see the thing is it's not just your life that is affect it's affecting my life too may not know if you understand what i'm trying to say i'm trying to tell you that if you stop living right it can affect me who on the stream don't get me the idols in your life can affect somebody around you the spirit can't identify some of us anymore as being a part of his kingdom because we make stopping some other kingdoms all right but let me take it back to the world before i make it more personal we live in a culture full of idols nowadays and you might say boy i know that tree is something from the past you think about adultery thinking about something primitive some old-time people borrowing and doing some things to i like a boxer like a carving or something but no no axe even paints a picture about the same thing when paul went in ancient greek and the romans roman time you know each city they worshipped us a specific god their favorite god they built temples for these gods act 17 talked about paul going to athens a place that was full of images to many gods aphrodite the goddess of beauty here is god of war goddess of fertility artemis and holy for other ones and this society back then and even unknown still does the very same thing there is no difference every culture every situation is dominated by their own set of idols and people go on to make sacrifices to these idols in order to get blessings or get rid of curses or get good life as they call it or get rid of bad luck and if you say no you're lying because our eye that is just anything that is exaggerated in our life to the point where we can't do without this particular thing you may not be bowing down physically to this particular thing but you're obsessed or so concerned about this particular thing think about it images like body um either like body image beauty it may not bow down to this kingdom of probably success ceremony but we sacrifice our children for these things sometimes in order to achieve higher and achieve more blessings and business success and prestige and end of causing you not to spend any time with your family and then we realize too late that why these kingdoms them not really make you happy you know by the time you turn around when your family don't know you and they always disappoint us maybe you're not pouring any blood to heart mister any of those sexual idols but maybe you're still tied up to this young girl or this young man or this young boy or somebody who's not your wife he's an idol neglecting your family just forget a little more pleasure involving us other things and some of us have sacrificed everything to the god of success and it wasn't enough but you see two days idols them very calling them transformed themselves from a physical thing to something inside of your heart so you know see it as readily greed money addiction colossians 3 18 verse 5 mortify therefore what your members which are upon the earth fornication uncleanness in concrete conviciousness which is idolatry inaudible all those little gods those little idols those little kingdoms talking about the ones that you can't see and see either worship it is a heart problem ezekiel 14 verse 3 says son of man these men have set up their idols in their heart and it has put a humbling block before my face should i inquire at all about them you see what god what what our heart does it takes some good things and it turns these good things into idols good things matter boy they're not disappoint some of them in some decent things take success you take a great career it takes significance it takes salary it takes safety it takes you know fulfillment and turns them into idols things that you can't attain you ever see a crackhead yet you know why a crooked beef so because they're addicted they know why they're addicted because it's an idol that they're bound to serve in this thing you'll see people fight over a job yet my workplace you'll see people fight over position at church or anywhere is that idol they want to serve that's why they do this thing you'll see people fight over presidency fight over party leadership it's an idol you ever see people fight over man it's an idol that is in their heart look here anything good can become an idol and a clothes is a good thing but you can't be idol watching the stream you see who where what and when and just to see receive you can look better than them they think they're as idol man jealousy come in because you're worshiping this idol you don't even know when you reach this place anything can become an idol and the ten commandments were settled in a specific way for this same reason if you read it exodus 21 street starts and said oh shall not have what any other gods before me that includes everything not just money our sex everything no other god before me because anything in your life can be an idol or a god alternative if you focus too much on it i've seen fake humility become an idol you want to prove say you're more humble than everybody else and then preserve this thing jesus i've seen spirituality become my idol you want to prove that you're more holy than everybody else who would have no read bible like me that is idol too they're not speaking tongues like me from wins come these things i see people wanting to be right i had the time become idol you can't even admit when you're wrong helping people can become idol acts of service some good things solving problems can be ideal to you know serving in church can do if you're not if you're not doing it with the right motive look here idol is anything that is more important to you than god anything that take up your heart imagination more than that anything that you seek to give you what only god can give you anything that is so essential and so essential to you that's why you know get this thing you feel like you lose out or if you lose this thing you can't go and live in idols and these things are controlling you you spend most of your passion and most of your energy and most of your time on these things and the demand to be worshipped more than god why did jesus have to spend 40 days after his ascension and resurrection to come teach them about the kingdom of god because he knew that if he didn't stress this to them some of the little kingdoms would come up in the hearts of his followers and he would have a hard time getting rid of them he came he could have talked about peter remember he walked on the water peter why didn't he didn't i mean could i tell anything else but he spent time teaching them for the kingdom he said the kingdom is is like a pearl the kingdom is like a man gonna journey kingdom is like a poor man the kingdom is like a farmer he spent time because he knew that other kingdoms would try and come up you see this kingdom that i'm talking about the kingdom of god is supposed to affect every area of your life every single one and you can't benefit from being a part of god's kingdom if you're trying to be a part of other ones because you don't look like him and the king is looking down on the future looking down trying to find people who are part of this kingdom who look like him and smell like him but some of us have dipped our foot over somewhere else something else and that's affecting us as a body and then you go on what's up when you introduce your idol to somebody else and say hey boy i'll tell you what the last night about men i want nobody hear my business so don't tell them what i want to reach a pastor i introduce you i had a to your friend and your friend started serving too hallelujah now we have half of the choir sir i don't acquire not there but requiring a need for there to tell you these things hallelujah entertaining other gods you see if you don't let go of these things and they don't say yes to god it's going to drain you and people are bound and not being saved or been set free when people are staying sick and not being healed people are troubled and leaving more trouble when i'm company stream why because so many idols are coming up before the face of god hallelujah hallelujah thy will cannot be done on earth as it is in heaven because people not seeking the will of the kingdom and god only attaches himself to things that look like him and you don't want to pour for me even make yourself look like him so that's why you allow god to mold you and the more he moves the more you start to look like him and the more you come down because he's tired to look like him because he's the one giving the strength to look like him see when god is not here people stay boned and it don't start here you can't start here you're 19 cannot stand here you have to get rid of the idols before you come into the presence even before the stream starts it cannot be starting on a sunday doesn't start feeling weak bible says you should live a life of repentance daily you can't go on like you're more holy than anybody else because you're not you have to die daily god wants to save some more people in the zoom or too much idols there are more people who need salvation and nobody looking for a building but we don't care how are we going to get here if we're not building the kingdom you know we don't i don't want us to make the building become an idolater if it's not for the kingdom is just building a building or structure please get rid of your idols why jesus spent so much time on top of this thing before people come on the service come on the stream come under the tent the anointing should be here before i don't care who it used to be oversaw but then i was i'm talking about now it took about 10 minutes our five minutes for peter preach on the day of pentecost why because they were already in one place worshiping preparing to win them go out well the gods could move freely come on church look here every kingdom has a jurisdiction every kingdom has our boundary the united kingdom run from this at the desert to dear soul the kingdom of jamaica from hearst of the year nobody else has ruled in that area so if i'm a kingdom i'm a member of the kingdom of the of the united kingdom or even canada anywhere as long as i'm there and i get sick i can simply go to hospital and get some service i'm free but if you're not a member of the united kingdom or of canada you go to london or montreal or wherever and you get sick i can't guarantee you and if you take your id you will get a call in a week later or an email or a letter saying hello mr richards on such and such date you visited this hospital for such and such purpose you have a bill of 200 pounds or a 300 canadian where do we collect it i can guarantee you you will get a letter because every kingdom has benefits but you're not a member of that kingdom so you won't benefit from it and the same thing applies to the kingdom of god if you're not a citizen hold here you try and claim if you're living far from the kingdom who are you going to get the benefits bible says seek ye first the word a kingdom and all other things will be added to you the kingdom is not just a place attacking boat the kingdom is a body you and me were called to be witnesses not just to weakness and what you do in the body affects those around you and we're being very selfish during calvary 19 just because we don't come to church anymore physically that is but you are connected to the body of christ your life you live affects us as a body the kingdom is not a show you can't see your part of the kingdom are you entertaining idols from other kingdoms the people in the community see it and see us and they don't come because there is nothing better for them to see we don't show them the kingdom properly so martin tell bishop deal with it fix it especially those of us who know better if you address it sooner the life every member of this assembly lives affects the kingdom of god and how we draw people to the kingdom and there's never been such a great opportunity like kovic 19. we're living on this secular society this secular world with wombata glittering many gods and idols and kingdoms i'll try and hold a tight grip onto your life and hunt your heart and if you're a sin and you're listening the tight grip is tight but you can't let it go it can let go of you if you're coming to the kingdom and god is using this global situation to get everybody attention doesn't come coming of the kingdom you see the world kingdom of mashup home many of these idols are going to fall alone many of these kingdoms are going to crash down oh yeah they're trying to catch it up why it's falling are you still trying to cut it up this is your chance to escape it's time to spend some more time here with god god is using this pandemic and use in the hand of the enemy and the plans of the enemy to deliver you from this kingdom to get you away from this person or these persons are these ideas are these emotions that you've been serving for so long the things that you've built your hope upon and you know them feeling over and over and over so look your discerning idols in your life turn back to god the true god the one and living god the only king of kings because he's the only one that can make you very happy i'm going to come nobody giving you two examples before i go the bible talks about the rich young ruler he came to jesus and asked him some questions about salvation and eternal life and jesus told him son keep the commandments about what these jesus and jesus saw that there is a little kingdom inside the empire that he'd never turn over as yet and he still didn't let god of control over that one either that was there that hadn't been torn down well no god said son go sell everything i have hallelujah and come on follow me and he left jesus hurt this was this was too expensive to give up to god you see riches was his idol you know god not called everybody forgive them things in the know be wise everybody this applies to like that it's not rich it's for everybody but the love of money for him was his idol maybe for you with something else maybe maybe his family maybe his position maybe his prestige maybe his education maybe his church position maybe projects maybe children maybe he's found the kids and i don't know what it is for you maybe it's your mind maybe it's your girlfriend maybe you can't stop teeth people man i'm keep a woman maybe cast up teeth at all whatever it is it's your eye that god wanted to give it up everybody has one and god requires us to give it up no no no hidden agenda no i didn't think anymore man god just wanted to want more of him more of his kingdom than you already have and there's a price that you have to pay for it paul said it you know in philippians he said yeah no let's account all these things what has last for the excellency of the knowledge of my lord for whom i have suffered the loss of what all things and i quote it but don't some people make i had a lot of mini shorter than car water them all sort of something go to them titles and paul say oh i give up this thing and paul had a lot to give up human don't get me wrong you know i said anything can be an idol or if it's exaggerated the affection toward it is exaggerated and god don't get the glory out to it but for paul he had to look here this man had doctorates he had letters and degrees behind his name circumcised was a pharisee he went to the best schools he persecuted the church with zeal the bible fluent in many languages it was a roman citizen but the bible saying that where called it as dawn just to know jesus and you won't demonstrate the power of god until you remove these things from your life the second person i wanted to talk about was abraham now this is a famous story god came to abraham in genesis 12 and he made him a promise a big promise if you obey me then i will bless the entire world through you so for this to happen you know you have to live where you are and go somewhere that you don't know live your country your people your idols all the things in the land everything that you're familiar with and leave so he was asked to give up nearly all of his worldly hopes and all of his human desires i remember you know everybody when i live for something in the source god asked us to give up some things for him he was called to go and he went they never know him there go and god prophesied to him and told him that the nations would be blessed to him so he had to have a child or children until that time his wife sarah was marrying her she couldn't have biologically a child but god promised abraham to give him a son and the years turned into decades and the decades rolled on and you know the promise just never came at the time but finally after abraham was i think over 100 and sarah over the age of 90 she gave birth to her son isaac so this was clearly divine intervention god did come in and give him the sun that was promised so the years of organizing waiting it took it must have taken a toll upon the couple just like any couple with infertility experience i can tell you your money it can be rough and you can testify nearly endless delays and thing it it must have done something to him to refine his trust or his faith in god he must trust god knock out god give him the son that he promised but it also had another effect upon him because nobody ever wanted the sun as much as this this man abraham he had given up everything else everything else and waited on the sun but was he really waiting on the sun or i was waiting trusting in god i asked myself these questions and i couldn't understand it someone said let me read further i realized that god called him a second time so all right isaac was born and that's supposed to be the climb of the highest part of him faith and everything because god you know he didn't die and he was he put up probably i know how because god gave him the sun but two hours surprised abraham got the second call and god said all right abraham come now take your son your only son not the other one already try and get by yourself you know the only son that i recognized before me take him up and go and sacrifice him into the mountains someone said god will you ask someone to do this this is not made no sense abram's affection had i think he that person i think you know doesn't mean you think that after a while abraham loved this boy so much that he's like him probably start worship this boy nothing around with a son it's not a bad thing but it became an idol in his heart because he started to worship the gift more than they give up if abraham if isaac wrong go to him if him food scratching him wrong with him he was so concerned with this this here that would go on after he died and continue with the thing that he forget well what god will give him all of this in the first place he he found meaning before this you know in the word on the promise of god well now the promise come on him happy and he never remembered about it so the center of iran's life was moving away from god and rome to isaac and because he was taking an exaggerated part of his life god say oh sin come come up open at the mountain and sacrifice this thing this one that you love and abraham did not know how things would work out but he searched his art and he told his servants okay all right i'll be obedient i'm going up into the mountain i will come back though he never knew how god would be but he trusted all right god he must find our way and the main reason i think he started to walk up the mountain was because he knew that his son had no become our idol why else would a man get a banger sorry never sacrificed my son you know in a sense he must have known that god was right but while walking up him search himself and when he had reached a place that god tell him he burned his son isaac and put him on the altar and take the knife i said god no sorry i'm sorry i reached this place what you require they serve me and i'm gonna give it to you and when he was about to stop the boy god says stop no you know you know that i know that you love me more than this you love the hand of god more than the gift that you get from the hand so yes you have to work the same thing apply to me and you today fear chapel deal with your idols please the level that god wants to take you will require them to die he could not become the father of the oneness movement if he didn't sacrifice his idols the level of god wants to take us will require us to face and fight new principalities and powers that you can't even if you're in bed with the same principalities and powers the bible says in romans 8 32 he who didn't spear his own son but gave him up for all of us will he not freely give us all things he said the funny thing about is one see take the knife are you ready for get rid of that thing that's when god said all right i can keep it it's strange because the exaggerated thing that you put will no die you won't have it exaggerated anymore and that's all right keep it i know you love me so please ask you know offer up to god all that you have inside of you because all your idols are only just going to disappoint you money money have wing they can sleep out your back any day and all the sex in the world will not please you your job can replus replace you in a moment an instant your obsession with beauty can flee with one accident i don't know what your idol is it can be anything canada u.s can take them green card but god saw abraham's sacrifice and said now i know that you love me because you're willing to give up your only son that i give you look here your family is suffering because they're idling a church is suffering because you won't let go of your idol you are suffering my aunts you've seen a friend because you won't let go of your idol i'm employing you today please come into the zoo meeting go in your bathroom and log on to the zoom meeting somebody will be there to pray with you i ask them to help you show you how to let go for this thing that you you're holding on to so long hallelujah and if you're a part of this body of christ god is talking to you today don't harden your heart praise god these are my three words in jesus name can we praise the lord everybody can we just praise the lord one more time can we just lift our hands and give him some glory hallelujah his word is truly a guide unto us and if you are here under the sounding of my voice and you're not a part of god's kingdom you haven't been baptized you haven't met the lord and you might be wondering how how do i become a part of this kingdom that i've heard so
