JEWELRY & GOLD FOUND IN STORAGE UNIT! I Bought An Abandoned Storage Unit! Storage Unit Finds!

welcome back to treasure honey went to us guys and today we're gonna be testing all the jewelry gold and silver that we found throughout all the abandoned storage is that we've bought so far we're gonna be running two big tests the first test she's gonna be doing so the first test is gonna be with this magnet the one that we usually use remind at fishing so if we use guys that are in this business you probably know about the magnet test so basically we use the magnet to test if the jewelry is magnetic or not if it's magnetic you know right off the bat that you have fake but just because it's not magnetic doesn't necessarily mean that it's real but it will tell you right off the bat if it's fake second the acid test I don't know if you can see this all right let's move back a little bit so first we have this white cap one tester silver and then we have 10 karat 14-karat 18-karat 22 karat and then platinum so if you've never done the acid test you basically scratch the jewelry on this little plate here and then you drop a little tiny drop of acid on it it is a legitimate acid so we will be using rubber gloves of course on that and if it's able to burn away the metal on the plate you know it's fake or real base so I will explain it more when we get to it a first we're going to do is do the magnet test on every piece of jewelry we have alright guys now we're gonna start with the magnet test so basically when I did the magnet test I'm going to put a pile magnetic and non-meta magnetic so let's get started hearing not make this one slightly magnetic this back piece of majority of this one has stones on the front so it's only this thin back piece so let's move you can pretty much bet if the metals fake the diamonds are fake see I don't think anyone will put real diamond to fake Miller magnetic non-magnetic who that is that's like strongly that one too well kind of figure this would be the case let's try this little ring not to ring so far not magnetic yep wait that was like the chain fire let's do this yes this part isn't but I mean it's really light so soon that's like gold plate or something this little earring that is I don't even see match to this one no staring at that one over there this one I feel a tug it's not strong but I feel a tug I'm gonna put that in non magnetic I mean yeah magnetic hmm again one earring oh wait we've kind of been throwing all the jewelry in a box these don't even match I know that I'm gonna say maybe you need 500 full force magnet wasn't a bright idea let's see what else is magnetic yeah this is like the claw machine except not rigged I feel like if I do this I'm gonna have like ten of them just go yeah this one chain is stop this piece is like slightly yeah there we go this part right here like the edges have a slight pool that the actual chain does it not that you these yep I don't know what those are this yep this yep that yep look at this pile well I mean I figured self all right these yes I like grabbing with a magnet instead mm-hmm it's so light but the actual chain is not magnetic only the locket part so I've got here again this doesn't have a match these don't match you might find an isolator on a magnetic magnetic magnetic now and then pick up not magnetic alright then hopefully nope not my name wait let me get the changes this is like the other one the chains not magnetic if the ends are all right the gold bracelet definitely if that was real gold it would be in a very good situation this oh my gosh yeah I don't even know how we put that in there look you just knocked that thing [Music] but I got one great this ring awesome this is not magnetic but this is like porcelain or something yeah slight pool yeah where should I put that one I will test anything let's just test it anyway we don't have anything silver no no there yeah these not wow I'm surprised that look like Japanese look definitely fake sapphires not bull this ring wow really wait huh that is look so cartoonish it sounds like a slight pool but I'll put in here because it's only slight this thing that looks like a snake it's light so I'll put it in the non-magnetic pile this one looks like jerk that sucker up man thank you what made it disappeared this is I could this cop dude right you definitely tell me even though they had a slight pull a felony yeah it does looks like our like ours whose slight pool but again it's like really light to fake but the chain itself isn't to it yeah tangled up the ones magnetical ones not look at the piles again magnetic not magnetic that's actually more than I thought these three ready take a game show which ones gold and which ones not Denton buh-buh-buh fakes oh yeah now get it off wow that's a pretty big bracelet right there if it's actually real gold that's a little bit it is bit gold soft isn't it that could be a good sign last few things these are like they're I mean I'm gonna call them pins or they have in a like pendants or something okay alright last few things and this isn't even metal it's like this it's real stirring this has a slight pool but I mean maybe plastic yeah well because both of these are mostly jewels so I mean the only thing that could be real is the back piece and that wouldn't be worth much so magnetic no not now since that's the other way now we're gonna do the acid alright guys so we do have a lot of costume jewelry we also have a lot of jewelry there wasn't magnetic fingers crossed it's real so if you've never done this before I'll try to explain in a little more detail by the way this acid kits only twenty bucks on ebay so a pretty good deal if you do storage units or anything like that put anyway you basically scratch the jewelry on here if it's real gold all the way through shouldn't matter because you're not gonna scratch anything off of its gold-plated you scratch it you see something underneath of it you know it's probably gold-plated and the value depletes a little lot so basically you drop it on there if it's gold you rub it on there and you'll go through the different acids you'll drop a little bit of 10-karat acid on it and as inside the instruction book right here and basically if it fully dissolves it fit the vault yeah there's off the streak you know it's not ten karat gold or it's not anything below it basically if it's partially dissolved and I would tell you it's between one and ten and if it's fully dissolve or not dissolve my bad I'm making this complicated needs to be if it doesn't dissolve at all then you know it's above 10 carat so then you would move on to the next one fourteen care repeat the same process except you know 10 through 14 and the same thing you go to 18 22 if they need it but probably won't and then silver it's just the don't bottle if it dissolves in the silver if not whatever and then we have platinum I don't think we have anything platinum now it'd be pretty awesome if we did anyway we have to readjust the camera and let's get into it alright guys so the first thing we're gonna be testing is this ring here now I'm gonna go out on a limb I'm gonna say this is probably fake for one because if you look at the front there you can see that the gold is kind of coming off so if it is gold it's probably gonna be gold-plated which again means it's not very expensive but who knows maybe this parts fake maybe this is real gold I don't know but anyway let's just try to scratch it on here see how it I mean you can kind of see that it's really hard to see can you see it on the camera I can see a streak all right we'll go off of that let's try some 10-carat a sit on it ready and I feel like a science experiment here about there it goes can you see that on camera you can but it's like slightly I have to like I can't put it as far as I want it's I mean it's really small so put unfortunate can you see that it's dissolving you can't tell all right take my word for it it is dissolving so this unfortunately goes into the fake paw that's junk I'm gonna wipe it clean and do it all over again let's switch it up let's do this one that we're gonna hope is silver can you see that on there all right so let's scratch this one on here now and by the way the first test you should do we already done this is look for markings in these there's no markings if it's real silver let's say 0.92 5 that's what I have on my neck or if it's gold it should tell you the carriage 10k T 14 18 22 24 if you're lucky anyways put a silver streak on this alright and let's get the silver testing out I can't really see it can you well we'll see if we can do another camera angle for you guys alright silver is a little bit different than gold so a silver you're looking for a certain color red or green and this is coming up it's bubbling there we go that's it you can't see it at all can you I can't see a color but I mean I don't even see a color of my eyes it's a very light green tint and can you zoom on this just so you people that are wondering to tell us see what the color tells you yeah all right your silver I'm a can't breed because it's facing the other way I don't have x-ray vision but just in case everybody was wondering that is exactly what it tells you so green usually green means good right no fine silver is red so unfortunately is probably the cheap not as fine silver but it is still silver so silver is nowhere near as expensive as gold so I don't know if it'll really hold any value I mean it has to have some type of values into this silver so we'll put it in a separate file since we can't get a good camera angle on this it's just way too small to really focus good enough for the video we're just gonna go through them all and then we'll separate them in a pile and let you know what testing what in the results of all the tests so let's do it [Music] fake [Music] this is amazing me this one looks like a straight something like out of a little girls costume for Halloween but I just did a 10-carat test on this and it is not dissolving and also this is greater than 10 karat gold so I don't know what that means about the Jade let's keep going [Music] this is blowing my mind guys so we just dripped a 14-carat acid on it and this one still has not dissolved so this is greater than 14 karat gold this is absolutely blowing my mind I am like you don't understand I thought for sure look at that that looks like something you would find in like a little girl's princess costume for Halloween not something to be real on to 18 karat that is still not dissolving we're at an 18 karat s right now that is still not dissolving alright we gotta go up to now 22 karat gold test right now this doesn't dissolve it then you got something wrong we got something really expensive here alright guys we just did all the gold tests on this this line is still I wish I could zoom in and show you well but all tests that streak is not at all changed so according to the acid test I mean maybe that gems gotta be figure that gems real and this skull is real you were talking about a lot of money a lot of money but anyway that's crazy right there let's keep going [Music] all right so we have a slight dissolve on this one slight dissolve beams that this is between one in 10 karat gold I don't think they sell less than 10 so the most likely this is 10k gold unless I've never seen its to 4 karat gold necklace for sale but maybe so this is most likely 10 karat gold [Music] all right so now that we're done with all the testing can you take a wild guess which pile is the fake jewelry in which piles have been a real George hmm I think that has to be a fake one right yeah it's gotta be what a serious note that's all fake boy we have three pieces test the way we wanted them to test which is not a good thing unfortunately suck so bad it does what with the real mystery of the unit is this thing that a little tiny ring there it tested all the way past 22 care and there's absolutely no markings on the ring whatsoever so we really don't know what it is maybe if anyone has any suggestions let us know because I have looked up this thing very closely a Zune it cannot find any symbols any numbers any markings there anything of any kind so you we really want to figure it out because what if it's some like that's the fun of this you never know what if there's like some ancient Egyptian artifact you know who knows anything's possible so we really need information on that I think that's just silver and that was just 10 karat gold and it's not gonna be much worth much anyway because it's so light yeah this thing is it looks like basically this string that's all I assure it would have been real okay can be threaded through like a needle anyway I think that's just about
