John chapter 8 verse 48 it says then the Jews answered and said to him do we not say rightly that you are Samaritan and have a demon jesus answered I do not have a demon but I honor my father and you dishonor me and I do not seek my own glory there is one who seeks and judges most assuredly I say to you if anyone keeps my word he shall never see death then the Jews said to him now we know that you have a demon Abraham is dead and the prophets and you say if anyone keeps my word he shall never taste death are you greater than our father Abraham who is dead and the prophets who are dead who did you make yourself out to be now this is the Jesus people don't want to talk about alright jesus answered and said if I honor myself my honor is nothing it is my father who honors me of whom you say he is your God yet you have not known him but I know him and if I say I do not know him I shall be a liar like you who Jesus is I shall be a liar like you but I do know him and keep his word your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day and he saw it and it was glad then the Jews said to him you are not yet fifty years old and have seen Abraham Jesus said to them most assuredly I say to you before Abraham was I am and I get somebody to say yes I'm super-excited on tonight father God thank you for this moment thank you for this hour I think it that you'll alert my lips to be the PA system of heaven let this work go forth with fire encouragement inspiration conviction and let us leave here on tonight changed rather than having a continual practice where we do not know you intimately and Jesus name we pray if you agree with that forever just shout amen I'm super excited because tonight we are starting a brand new sermon series entitled I am can I get everybody say I am and I feel as though this is a very important conversation for us to have because it's gonna be hard for you to truly know who you are if you don't know who he is it's gonna heart it's gonna be hard for you to identify a destiny distraction versus a destiny attachment if you don't know who he is and you stop giving out discounts to other people once you know your value because you know your value because you know who he is can I get everybody say who he is and that was an interesting conversation that I saw in the text between God and Moses we find this in Exodus chapter 14 God is having this conversation with Moses and he's trying to convince him of his assignment and Moses is giving God absolutely every single reason on how God you made a mistake God you chose the wrong one my pass is too dirty god I don't know what you thinking I can't even speech right because Moses had a stuttering issue and it's like God choose somebody else I'm not the one I know that you called me but I'm not answering God you made a mistake I think sometimes if we're honest I don't judge him because when you've always been a problem and caused problems it's hard for you to accept the reality that God has chosen for you to be a solution when you've always had issues and caused issues and God is saying I'm going to use you to fix some issues it's hard for you to digest that reality but once you understand that you've been chosen once you understand that you've been selected once you understand that God has a plan for your life and you're called you will start to live like an assignment I'm gonna say that again write that one down once you're called you'll live like an answer so as this conversation is continuing Moses gets to this point where it's like okay alright look even if I were to go who shall I say sit me and God gives him this perplexing answer he says you tell them I am now I always try to put myself in the Bible when I read it could you just imagine how awkward that is you got your iPhone out like okay I'm a synthesis but whom shall I say is sit from and he says I am if you were like me out of line okay you are what I got that you are what God is trying to get Moses to understand that you can't compartmentalize me categorize me or box me in because boxes were made for packages and not me you can't confine Who I am you tell them I am that I am and simply that is me that means to me and what should mean to us is you don't know what M you're gonna need God to be so he's saying don't try to say what type of am I am you don't know what m and you're gonna need for me to be so on Monday I maybe I am your healer or Tuesday I may be your protector on Wednesday I may be your Redeemer on Thursday I may be your provider on Friday I may be your wave maker your deliverer and your Sanctifier on Saturday I may be your keeper and on Sunday I may be your mind regulator you don't know what em you're gonna need for me to be just call me I am can I get somebody to shout I am so I would like to speak for less than one of the sermon series from this topic Jesus is God Jesus is God we're gonna break the ice get you high-five somebody and tell them that's my king Jesus is God Jesus is God y'all are like Jesus is a guy that's my kid can I get everybody shout Jesus is God ladies and gentlemen we are launching a series that I firmly believe is important and necessary for us to have this conversation because culture and even Christianity many times doesn't know who Jesus is or in other words we have a wrong version of Jesus okay and I also want this series to be a series that equips us with healthy apologetics that means being able to defend your faith because nobody should be able to talk you out of what you believe I need you to be able to believe this thing and reduce it down to the lowest common denominator and articulate it to a child and children's church because you know what you believe can I get somebody say I know what I believe you don't believe it just because you went to Vacation Bible School I'm not talking about that belief you don't believe it just because it's popular to put that as your hashtag I'm not talking about that belief you don't believe it just because you had a praying grandmother I'm not talking about that belief I'm talking about you believe because you had an encounter with the king yourself believe I've discovered that today we have several different Jesus's we have a Jesus of the Bible a jesus in your head and the Jesus of culture and they're all different the Jesus of the Bible the Jesus of culture and the Jesus in your head and they're all different please listen and the harmful repercussions of this is we now have churches causes and movements erected all around the world who are building a foundation of the wrong Jesus and anytime a people believed error please hear me on tonight any time a people believe error and any time we consume that which is false that doctrine always gives us bad directions please hear me and bad directions always lead us to bad destinations and the reason a lot of people leave the faith is due to bad doctrine which gave them bad directions which gave them bad directions and which led them to bad destinations and so they're starting to think that God is not real so if we truly were to exegete this the first time you see the word Christian in the Bible is at acts at Antioch and it was not given as an accomplishment I have to break this down Christians were meant to be mirrors of Christ but unfortunately on today most of the mirrors have no reflection did you hear what I just said Christians are supposed to be mirrors of Christ unfortunately most of the mirrors have no reflection and Christian is a christ-like one not one who likes Christ y'all didn't get it a Christian is a christ-like one not one who likes Christ and so now the question we must ask ourselves is am i christ-like or do I just like Christ because you ask the neighbor which one are you so many times we can't really get people to come to Christ because we keep on presenting a wrong Jesus to the society and so there's some ideologies that I feel led to debunk on tonight are y'all ready for this are y'all ready for this number one my king was not a politician Jesus is not and was not a politician he's not for the Republican Party nor is he for the Democratic Party in fact he's not for any party because if we actually understand this biblically it was never God's will for us to ever have a king or a president we missing some people Minds up right now it was never his will for us to ever have a king or a president we know this to be true because in 1st Samuel chapter 8 the people of Israel were asking God for a king and he was articulating to them I don't want you to have a king I am your king you don't need to have another leader I am your leader but they wanted to be like the nations around them see we got to be careful because sometimes we want to get somebody's infection but we don't even understand it's an infection they were asking to be like the other nations around them and God gave them what they desired because sometimes God will give you what you want so the next time he says know you'll trust him so this is how monarchies were established but please don't misconstrue what I'm saying Jesus was never for dishonouring disrespecting the government or the laws of the land in fact when he is asked about political things he said listen give back to Caesar what is Caesar's and give to God what is God politician that's not my king before Abraham was I am somebody say I am number two my king was not a tyrant Jesus is not and was not a tyrant he's not looking to throw you into hell he's not looking for your next mistake so he could punish you he's not looking to flog you into submission but my king is the Good Shepherd Jesus is that Good Shepherd that protects his flock from ravening wolves he's a friend that sticks closer than a brother he's a servant that doesn't just wash your sin but he washes your life he's a father to the fatherless he's hope for the hopeless he's one word God the Father he's a mediator vindicated liberated man Regulator and like we said before while he was here on earth his occupation was carpentry which means he had a special skill set in building and repairing so if there's anybody in their life right now that you're trying to build some stuff might I offer Jesus if there's anybody under the sound of my voice that you need God's who repair some stuff might not offer Jesus because he specializes and building and repair and he's the god man which means he's man enough to step in your situation but then he's God enough at the same time to bring you out my king was not a tyrant because before Abraham was I am can I get somebody say I am number three here we go my king was not homophobic I didn't get one Amen no nothing all that guy was a he Jesus was not and is not a homophobic and I would like to apologize on the behalf of the whole body of Christ they anytime you ever seen events with Christians would white picket signs that says God hates gays that is not the nature of my king that's not the nature of my king God loved us so much where he had to wrap himself in flesh and walk amongst the earth because he did not want people to be sin stricken and he did not want us to have a creator created relationship did you hear what I just said he does not want us to have it created creates her relationship no he wants to call you son he wants to call you daughter and he wants us to call him ABBA because God does not like for us to be held captive and what does sin do sin incarcerate sus and separates us so God recognized sin has ahold of my creation and anytime God wants you released he removes it or moves them or removes you any time God wants up to remove he will either remove it remove you or remove them some of us are crying about people who left and we don't even recognize God removed them what if I told you that God was telling you it wasn't you it wasn't them this was all me and God would never remove anything without replacing it please hear me he would never remove anything without replacing it he has this methodology he will either remove it and replace it I'll remove it and become it his methodology if I'm gonna remove it it's because I'm gonna sit and if I'm gonna replace it might be because I need to become it can I give you Bible yes I can cinta had a hold on us and he wanted to remove it so what do you have to do become it this is how we get he who knew no sin became sin for us he wanted to remove it so he had to become it but just so we could set the record straight in Matthew chapter 19 verse 5 we get this for this reason a man shall leave his mother and father and cleave to his wife emphasis and all caps on man and wife God is the one that wants man to be with a woman because God is always about fruitful and multiplication multiplication and a seed what they seed can't multiply and a wool what they womb can't multiply anything that does not have a has been manufactured by man any fruit that you eat that is seedless has been manufactured by man but you could always tell when it's God because there's a way for it to multiply not a way for you to clone it not a way for you to try to conjure it up but it's organically a seed and soil so we don't have the right to try to redefine marriage we didn't create it God did and just in case there's somebody on the wrong side of the fence I want you to know the same blood that flowed on that cross for the homosexual is the same blood that flowed on that cross for the heterosexual and maybe if we stop having sermons talking about the gay choir director and we also talked about the heterosexual Deacon who's knocking down four or five women in the church we don't want to talk we don't want to talk the same God that died for the homosexual is the same God that died for the fornicator the same God that died for the Virgin is the same God that died for the promiscuous woman the same God that died for the porn watcher is the same God who died for the covenant eyes individual we all need the blood and I can't speak for anybody else I don't have a right to judge you I don't have a right to judge him because at the end of the day I need to be blood cover to homophobic that was not my king because before Abraham was I am y'all ready for some more my king was not just a prophet there are some religions that believe Jesus was just a prophet and I begin to wonder was he a false prophet oh no no we don't believe that he was a false prophet well that's problematic to me because my King prophesied that he would be betrayed into the hands of sinners that he would be crucified that he would die and that he would resurrect with all power in his hand and I can't help but speak for anybody else but myself I had to get a high note on that one that just sounds like messianic behavior to me that just sounds like messiah behavior to me that just sounds like godlike behavior to me that just sounds like Oh death where is your sting behavior to me that just sounds like world redeeming behavior to me that just sounds like I am that I am behavior to me who is like a god for he stretches out the heavens like a curtain and he knows every single star in the sky by name he knows how many hair follicles on your head he knows how many grains of stain on every breach all over the globe this is the great king that I'm speaking about on tonight's the I am that I am you might know him as a wave maker you might know him as the lily of the valley I know him as irresistible immutable irreplaceable unbreakable unshakable unstoppable I'm talking about the king of kings that's my king and if you don't know who he is tonight I want you to know him as I am somebody say I am I'm passionate about this because a lot of people have a wrong version of who Jesus truly is and the reason I think a lot of people have a wrong version of who Jesus is as for a few reasons the religious the claim religious the non-religious and the false religious we bout to work on tonight it's as controversial but I love it the reason some of us don't view Jesus right is because of religious people claimed religious people non religious people and then false religious people so let's talk about religious spirited people y'all ready for this put on your seatbelts tighten your lace front and watch your toes spirit people who are guilty of being possessed with the spirit of religion present God as they don't do list yeah so everything is you can't do this you can't do that you can't do this you can't do that oh you got to stop this stop that stop this no you can't go here you can't go there you can't do this you can't say that you can't do this you can't do this you can't do this it's this can't do list and really when you come to Christ it's really a life not of limitation but of liberation are we breaking stuff on the night when God had Adam and Eve in the garden he didn't say you can't do this you can't do that you can't do this you can't do this no you can't do this you can't do this there was only one tree I'm not getting this I'm thinking of a forest there are a kazillion we make it upwards a kazillion trees and there was only one tree that doesn't sound like limitation there you go preach for me it was only one tree really God's saying listen just give me glory just just give me glory the reason it's so difficult is because everybody around us is about self glory and if you're surrounded by bad trees you're going to say there's no good men there's no good women there's no good pastors because I'm surrounded by the false trees but really there's only one tree now if you like me I like to break stuff down because people ask a lot of questions especially in the comments section I used to wonder God if you didn't want us to sin why would you create another tree sorry this is how I think you know I'm just analytical and logician so if you want us to live for you let all the trees be good nobody else I guess it's just me sorry sis me don't give me an option of a bad tree and a good tree let them all be good you want me to stop smoking weed burn up every marijuana leaf burn them up you don't want me to stop you want me to stop going to the club and turn it up have Hellfire come down and burn every club up help a brother out burn him up how are you going to say I repented that I made man and you put the tree here just don't just remove it until I begin to think if God would have put both good and good it would have been controlled and we wouldn't have freewill yeah so the fact that there's a good tree and a bad tree it shows us do you really love me see because when you could do Eve but you choose to do good it proves that you love me when you think you could get away with it but you choose to walk integral it proves that you love me when nobody is watching and you still act like everybody's watching it proves that you love me I gave you free will so that I could freely see if you love me and he put it this way choosie this day I have set before you life and set before you death I've said before you blessing I'd have set before you Kirsten and then he gives us the answer key he says choose life so that you and your seed may live so the reason he gave us both and so that you could prove your love for me now look religious spirited people get so caught up rebuking people who smell like Egypt that they can't celebrate that they're no longer in Egypt yes sir so they constantly tell you how you should look but they're not celebrating that you're no longer bound religious spirited people do a lot for Jesus but don't spend a lot of time with Jesus I don't see a lace-front here we go they have confused activity with intimacy so because they do a lot they think we good religious spirited people view God is more Swift to punish than he is to redeem and religious spirited people speak the language of rebuke more than the language of grace and they love position they love position but this is what I'm learning if serving is beneath you then leading is beyond you you know something else about religious people they're manipulators they're manipulators they can't stand a light they can't eclipse did you hear what I just said they're manipulators they can't stay and a light they can't eclipse and if you are anointed oh you're really in trouble if you are gifted you're really in trouble they can't stand an individual where they can't turn your sky into a ceiling preach flowers they can't stand it because they can't control it I guess they don't understand when you have true glow when you have that real glow I can help other people glow and still be lit I can help other people glow and still be lit in fact if I made you be lit and I'm no longer lint I never was lit here we go about to miss some more people love Jesus did not care about none of this denomination always gave it quiet all these denominations are a man-made philosophy Jesus doesn't care about none of that he just says I'm the way I'm the truth and I'm the life most times oh the reason we have denominations is because they have a copied and pasted version of the Bible that they agree with and they start to treat other ministries that don't agree with their copied and pasted version of the Bible as though they're less than and they don't get it so they'll say we have it right and they don't have it right we're the true Christians they are the fake Christians we're the real Christians they're the carnal Christians and that's not the spirit of Jesus when the disciples wrote upon Jesus was like yo man we see people doing other stuff in your name Jesus said if they not against this therefores religious spirit people like to make other people think if you're not a part of our spiritual clique you're missing it our way is the right way your way is the wrong way okay everybody say religious spirit okay now the claimed religious are your caption you're claimed religious are your caption Christians what does that mean their life doesn't match their hashtag okay you don't know what caption B's on Instagram and on Facebook they have proverbs 30 woman but when we go through your thread Ain't Nothing proverbs 31 about anyone okay godly man but if we could see your Inbox ain't nothing godly man okay there your caption Christians they have a hashtag but they don't have a relationship they claim it they even know the lingo they know the song think of the dress code you ask them how they're doing they'll say I'm blessed and highly favored in the god-fearing Christian because they have learned to dial it but they don't know the relationship these are the type of people who here I never knew you okay Titus 1:16 breaks it down this way he says they profess to know God I'm all in the Bible this ain't me don't shoot the messenger okay it says they profess to know God but by their deeds and their actions they would deny him okay but I don't I don't judge claim Christians because I believe claim Christians follow one of these three categories they're either misinformed construction sites are socially accredited Christians that's good running through the spirit of religious if the missin form come the people who are possessed with the spirit of religion when they come they're gonna get don't do this don't do that don't do this don't do this don't do this so they're gonna come to the altar each and every week because they did this they did that they did this they did that and they did this because they think serving God is they don't do list and this opens the door for church hurt a topic we don't touch on enough people don't want to come to church because the place that was supposed to heal me from trauma gave me trauma and I'm done with that church stuff I tried to live right but you told me I wasn't right because I didn't meet the checkmarks on your checklist people they're misinformed they don't know they just need you to disciple them that's it she don't know her cleavers not supposed to be out like that when you're really mature you won't talk about it but you'll take her shopping and show this is that you that I saw in your mother's womb you've allow culture that make you become a you that's not the you you've allow culture and pain and trauma and your upbringing and everything you've gone through so have you become a you that I did not create for you to be so the construction site is the person where God is trying to show you that you that he knew when you in their mother's womb the you the meek version of you and trying to pick which one matches each day is difficult a lot of us don't even recognize we are spiritually bipolar because we have not met the King of glory who will show us you don't have to be like to try to be accepted by me they're rejected by me and let me give you a shocking illumination in the end the accepted get rejected the people who rejected here are gonna get accepted but the people who are accepted here are gonna get rejected socially accredited Christians and we have to learn this because sometimes we're mad at the wrong people you're mad because you're tired of being fake I've been there in open and transparent you moody mercy motion you feel when your alarm clock go off as anger first emotion anger as you're tired of being fake and so a lot of times we into a place where we're mad at the wrong people like can you really get mad at the people that you can you really get mad at the people who keep sucking the life out of you when you keep on giving them the straw and you keep on giving them the straw because you're trying to be accepted by them when are you gonna recognize that you deserve to drink - alright god I want to talk non religious non-religious people this is the question ask them is that you don't believe or you won't believe please hear what I just said the unbeliever is that you don't believe or you won't believe if you don't believe let's have a conversation if you won't believe I'm not gonna cast my swirls but pearls before swine they don't believe had a conversation with the atheist he said I don't understand it if yo God was so good why does he allow all this evil in the world it's the most basic question like come on bro I'm ask you but that type of question like no I just don't get it all this evil and of this murder and you serve that God how was that a God of love said so if he's so good why would he allow all the eve of the world that's just my question bro tell me that black man I said what said I said um what is evil murder rape killing stealing violence is God doing that art is man doing that with the rapers with the rapist with the murderers with the thief's with the selfish with the greedy so really what you're saying is if God is so good why didn't he kill everybody because we're the creators of evil he told us that the world is ours the world is ours and we're supposed to have dominion while we're here and what you're experiencing is what the heart of man does so I think the real question is what what type of love is it that God has where he doesn't destroy everybody yeah I don't want to talk okay now look the false religious I want us to see something second Corinthians chapter 11 verse 4 I want you to actually turn here I'm having projected but I want you to turn here I want you to see this 2nd Corinthians chapter 11 verse 4 is this good so far thank you for the four people respond I'm asking is this good so far ok 2nd Corinthians chapter 11 verse 4 okay so Paul has a concern he says all right for if he who comes preaches another jesus who we have not preached or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received or a different gospel which you have not accepted you may well put up with it so Paul was telling them like yo y'all are believing another Jesus see I know you probably never thought about this but there are many Jesus's that people create and if you don't have a true relationship with Jesus you won't be able to identify which one's the real one I wonder if this is why we can't really get a lot of men to come to church because of the false betrayal of Jesus how much be open and honest when people betray Jesus he's this sneak hair permed eyebrows on fleek feminine-looking your appeal man blond hair blue eyes peace be unto you just seems like a really weak type of man and we're saying everybody worship this guy everybody served this guy but that's not the Jesus of the Bible the Jesus of the Bible is the apex of masculinity he was a carpenter right so he's constantly lifting up wood and he's building so he probably had some bulk to him this is the type of Jesus that has splinters in his hands and calluses on his hands was in the wilderness for days Jesus even had a beard for those ladies who liked the beard gang Jesus was a man's man he was a man's man and if we begin to present Jesus like that Jesus wasn't a punk he came from the hood Jesus came from Nazareth actually the south side of Nazareth the South Side south side gotta learn about that he came from the south side of Nazareth Nazareth was a small filth-ridden town this is why when they heard where he was from they said could anything good not gonna read the Bible they can anything good come out of Nazareth Jesus came from the hood he wasn't a Pope and if we present him as the apex of masculinity and this is what man who looks like and that's the true Jesus maybe we can get more men to model their life after him because he was a man's man it was a man's man I begin to wonder how is it a big God will come from a small and filthy place I believe he's showing us because I do big things with small people and filthy places you think your dirt is too bad give it to a big God you think your dream is too small give it to a big God don't you understand he loves people who start off in mess because he would clean you from your mess because he knows you're gonna give him the glory that you're no longer in a mess and he will anoint you and call you his messenger he is the Messiah which means he's not intimidated by your mess he's not intimidated by your mess so we serve the type of God who specializes any race in the evidence after you give your Selective testimony because a lot of us leave some details out after you give your selectively testimony people will be shocked and say I didn't even know you weed and you will say that just confirms in my heart that I serve a God who specializes in erasing the evidence after you give your selective testimony they will say girl you'll even look like a woman who used to be on a stripper's pole and all you'll be able to say is I'm glad that you can't tell because it just specializes in my heart that God erases the evidence and I have a sneaky suspicion that there are people under the sound of my voice that you can give God praise right now because you know that God specializes any race into evidence because if you look at me you can't tell y'all they giving me golf clap so I'm gonna clap when you look at me you can't tell that God helped me and bring me out of certain situations specializes erasing the evidence so I want to talk about the biggest trade of all time this is the greatest trade of all time bigger than winning the Bron went to LA this is one it's the biggest trade of all time look so God was like okay I want to redeem humanity right so how can we do this he said this was before the foundations of the world anyway it was like this is what we're gonna do I'm gonna take their imperfect record and I'm gonna live perfect and if they live a life for me I'm gonna take their imperfect record and trade it with my perfect record so that when you see them you don't feel the need to give wrath because you can't even find them because you just see me okay let me give you Bible I'll give you Bible Colossians chapter 3 Colossians chapter 3 look at this very simple but I want you to see this it says for you have what's that word died and your life is what hidden in Christ so what does this mean when God sees you we didn't even try to talk you out of the blessings that God had I'm about to run off this stage the blessings that God has for you stop letting him lie to you and tell you you're not good enough and you may have too many mistakes and then abortion was too bad and the divorce was too bad God doesn't even see that all he sees is the blood all these seasons the blood can I get somebody to say the blood covered it so you have to understand this you have to understand this this is why it's so beautiful for him to be called I am because now I could say I know I'm not but I know I am y'all missed it wordplay but with the word I don't play I know I'm not but I know I am NOT because of what I've done but because of what he's done so when the devil says you've been you messed up too much you keep messing up you say you know what that's been hung up now listen listen that does not mean that we continue on as sin with the freedom we have we should be in so much our that God doesn't see us here but that he sees us here that we can't gate we can't help but give him praise because heaven doesn't see us like this but sees us like this is this making sense heaven now not only is our life hid in Christ but he also lives on inside of us we are filled with his indwelling spirit and I broke this down in Hebrew indwelling means bowels bowels are in other words gut so don't tell me next time you have that gut feeling next time you have that gut feeling that tries to talk you out of doing what you know you shouldn't do ignoring that and just think it's those tacos you ate no that's the area where the Holy Spirit is saying this is not like the person that you're becoming this is not like the person your life is heating so it's not about legalism it's about giving him praise because God doesn't see us by what we've done okay so now understand this this means whatever he is I am this is so freeing this is the basic and the most beautiful form of the gospel okay so look at this point number one he's the god of power can I get everybody say power and I get everybody give me a swole man say power he's the god of power y'all didn't do it so I'm gonna keep doing everybody this power he's the god of power so what does that mean you are powerful full of his power okay so let's give you Bible I gotta give you Bible for first lesson I want you to understand this Ephesians chapter 3 Ephesians according to the West that word power that works where in us man changes everything so this what this means if he is powerful I am powerful I have power over the enemy I have power to resist sin I have power over depression I have power of anxiety I have power over addiction and the like why because he is powerful which means I am powerful can I get everybody say I am number two he's the God of peace okay so what does this mean for me and you I am peaceful I should be full of peace alright so now we're gonna get in trouble if he's the Prince of Peace and you're not having peace what's the problem it's because the only way understanding that piece is your inheritance the only way that you could receive an inheritance is you have to be in that person's will did you hear what I just said the only way you could receive an inheritance is you have to be in that person's will so if we're not in the will of God we're not getting our Kingdom inheritance but you got to understand you have rights to this once you have accepted Christ you have the right to have peace because you have an inherited peace and you should be full of peace because he's the god of peace and he'll give you peace that surpasses your understanding but if I don't have peace now I have to question if I'm in his will but one of the worst things you could do is try to make work what God has stamped not my will this is why many times when we try to engage in activities you'll get that indwelling that gut feeling because this is gonna take your peace I know that you want a peace but it's going to mess up your peace okay so since he's the God of peace I should have a house of peace a marriage of peace my sleep should be peaceful and I'm not saying that your life will be without problems this is why he told you I'm gonna give you peace that surpasses which means you're gonna go through some stuff that you should not have peace but you're still gonna have peace and that's gonna pass your understanding because you should be bothered by the fact of all this chaos going on around you but you are actually in this place were you chilling on the inside it's called the peace of God peace of God this is what you're entitled to please hear me so the stuff that I'm telling you on tonight if you're not having it now is not the time to question him is it to question our lifestyle because I'm telling you if you are believer these are your inherited rights okay everybody say peace point number three I could preach this but I'm gonna just try to teach it he's the god of favor so what does that mean I am favored this is so good man he's the god of favor so this means I'm favored what does favor mean is the unmerited special preferential treatment from heaven I say hey man it's when you get stuff that you shouldn't even get and sometimes society calls it look I don't call it look I call it favor they have more degrees but you got more God favor favor favor favor now get some people can't stand when you're favored you know why because they don't understand that if God ever favors you it's never about you is for people well God never fails favors a person for a person he always favors that person for a people Joseph's brothers couldn't get this reality and if you don't get this reality you can end up throwing your favor in a pit you got the promotion not so you can say oh I got the promotion God favored you because you are in a position now to help favor others because when God gives you things it's never so that you could heighten your fence is always so that you can lift in your table favor Joseph's brothers made the mistake and thinking that the favor was on his coat so they took his coat because the father favored him and they clothed him that's the side the father favs you favors you he dresses you and they took the coat but they didn't recognize the favor is none of my coat it's all my life so every single place that he went he experienced favor when he was in prison he experienced favor when a woman wanted something he didn't give her not he still experienced favor and you have to understand this favor is never about you so you never should get arrogant about what God has given you because you're always favored for others when you get your rage stop thinking about what you going by how about think about what you could give see this is Kingdom language culture doesn't get it when they get more they think is to build things and get bigger things we understand that give and it shall be given unto you press down shaken together and running over a lot of us don't finish that scripture it says for the measure you use from that same measure it will be measured unto you I'm just trying to give you Bible so if he's the god of favor I am favored so since you're favored this means you have the god factor so even if they tell you no still act like God wants you to get yes and if God doesn't want you to get at the door go close but every time if they say we're not doing this we're not hiring we do this if this is something that you prayed about you act like you don't even see the sign there are too many individuals I'm telling you under the sound of my voice where everything around them said no you couldn't but God said yes you can why because you're favored because you're favored when I was about to graduate from college from Texas Southern University I didn't recognize that I was supposed to turn in my graduation application on April 26 before 3 o'clock it was able to 26 at 6 o'clock and I wanted to graduate we already sent out church invitations my mom Ari announces that Jerry is gonna be graduating but I knew I'm not gonna be graduating because I didn't turn in my application yet and I get to the office and the windows down and there's some girl there arguing with some lady and she said you have to read the sign that's what's wrong with y'all Millennials you want everything done for you you're late you will have to apply to graduating summer and she crying and fighting I'm back there praying the Holy Ghost God please please Lord I don't work too hard if y'all ever been in college it is stressful these professors that got on my nerves and I Mohammed L my mom and then we got to wait to August so they going back and forth they called back and forth just yelling that's not fair I worked so hard I don't care you have to reapply by you have to reapply ba and I'm just back there father please I just preached last Sunday Lord you know I serve you I'm a god that you know that you have God that hears my prayers the prayers of the righteous availeth much lord I saw putting his promises in his face you said asking it shall be given unto you Lord please so she's sitting there arguing with this girl for a good 30 minutes the Sun going down she's just give me the paper girl she signs the paper she says I get out of my face and now she looks at me with red eyes right I don't know what I'm saying is I'm not going Jesus says young man don't say anything I said hey Jose nothing I'm bout to walk across this stage and flip this hassle because he's a God of favor I wasn't supposed to get it but God favored me and I know that there's other individuals under the sound of my voice you know God has favored you God has got you through some stuff you know you don't deserve it that raise you don't deserve it that car accident that missed you you yo deserve it that promotion you don't deserve it I'm talking about the small stuff you in the airport and they just ring over the intercom can I please get sister such-and-such to come up you've been upgrade it's the first class and you were gonna sit next to a crying baby anyway God favors you somebody shall favor before he's a God of salvation so this means i'm saved i'm saved so i have to keep coming to the altar a week after week after week because i'm saved now what we have to do is understand now that I'm saved I have to be trained did a whole series about that I ain't touching that go look at the apatite series I'm saved and I need to be trained last point and the most powerful but basic point he's a God who forgives so this means I forgive
