Murray good dku god bless you say welcome to the shepherd's chapel welcome to this family Bible study our back in our father's word Book of Jeremiah Jeremiah meaning whom God launches forth and God did he launched him forth before he ever entered his mother's room and then while he was in his mother's room me he nailed him as a prophet I mean he was pre-ordered it pre arranged it and how he had his hand on Jeremiah and then launched him forth with the true Word of God we come to the 24th chapter of Jeremiah and this has to do was part of the base and understanding the parable of the fig tree which Christ said not maybe you should learn the parable of the fig tree he said learn it because with that comes the final generation meaning that's how important today that's how important it is to no one to understand excuse me and this 24th chapter basically gives you that foundation we will explain as we go along chapter 24 the great Book of Jeremiah verse 1 and it reads the Lord showed me and behold two baskets of figs were set before the temple of the Lord after that Nebuchadnezzar which is Nebuchadnezzar properly translated king of Babylon had carried away captive jeconiah the son of jehoiada the king of Judah and the princes of Judah which the carpenters in this minute with the carpenters the Smiths from Jerusalem and had brought them to Babylon now I understand this is this is the the males the daughters of Zedekiah would stay with Jeremiah that's that's history and as well as it is biblical and very important but the important thing for you to remember the king of Babylon in the future since has already arrived that is to say his his army his power just as it will be for the first two and a half months that in the five month period and he's there and this is a message as to what you should know and what you should do where should want to to continue one basket had very good pigs even like the pigs that are first ripe and the other basket had very naughty pigs which could not be they were so bad probably goat pigs okay that's just not possible to eat them so what we have here is the promise of what's going to go back into Jerusalem you see that's where this is taken just outside the Lord's house you have both the good and the bad this was planted in the year of our Lord 1948 both the good and the bad went back to Jerusalem that is how you mark the generation of the fig tree I will explain as we go along verse 3 then said the Lord unto me let's see a spout Jeremiah and I said Biggs the good figs very good and the evil very evil they cannot be eaten they are so in Rome and here we have the very being of the Tree of Life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil this started back in the garden and contrary to what many people might teach the drill always happened under an apple tree falls well where do you think it happened and if they'd grow well how possibly could you know that Adam and Eve were deceived in a fig Grove well did it say they had Apple leaves made them an apron no they said big leaves and big leaves ever since have been declared that that is hidden that's what big leaves are symbolic Ava's hiding something and naturally what did they hide they didn't make a mask for their mouth they made aprons to hide their private parts in the very big grove in which the evilness first took place with the first prophecy of the Bible in chapter 3 verse 15 and 16 of the great book of Genesis is how that he would put enmity between the woman's seed and the Serpent's seed and that means offspring children and and so it is so understand what our Father is talking about here as we come along we're continuing then with the next verse verse 4 again the word of the Lord came unto me saying thus saith verse 5 thus saith the Lord the God of Israel like these good things so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good well now how could this be and what does it symbolize prophetically but it means this the good figs being God's elect even after the false Christ appears they were sent before him where by the Holy Spirit can witness through them and bring to pass what is written in mark chapter 13 in Matthew 24 as to how the truth will be spread in the end times even after the king of Babylon sets foot on this earth in the second proceeding the second advent this may seem a little strange to some that's what the word says and and that's why God gives parables as well as he would use the fig tree symbolically speaking in the fig itself of good people and bad people and that's what you have in Jerusalem today verse six so I will set my eyes upon them for good and I will bring them again to this land well what land was that land of Judea Jerusalem and I will build them and not pull them down and I will plant them and not pluck them up this happened in the year of our Lord 1948 when Israel become a nation again both good figs and bad figs both the good and and the bad and so therefore you have a date there as to when God would bring this prophecy to pass from the time Christ walked the earth up until the year of our Lord 1948 they had not returned that is to say neither the good nor in the bag but here we have if you would both the good and the bad and so it is and here we go with and will continue then with with there's some six land and he would say again he would plant them and not pluck them up guess what that's eternal not going to happen that way verse seven and I will give them an heart to know me hearts of mind and the good pigs are certainly going to know the true father from the fake that I am the Lord and they shall be my people and I will be their God for they shall return to me with their whole heart that's god's elect they have from the very beginning they have the seal of God in their forehead they're going to stand against the false one even though he comes in prosperously and peacefully as it is written in the great book of Daniel that is to say the false messiah the false king of Babylon and when he comes in peacefully to take over that area then certainly that's that's no problem to us because God sees wood for his election that he can utilize them bringing in the very events that consummate the end of this age verse 8 and and the evil pigs which cannot be eaten they are so evil surely thus saith the Lord so will I give that Akaya the king of Judah and his Prince's in the residue of Jerusalem that remain in this land and them that dwell in the land of Egypt that is to say that notice these females are not mentioned in this only only we evil as far as God putting them down but Zedekiah naturally would be taken captive as our outlook is he was blinded he was led in Chains all the way to Babylon and there he was killed but the borders of Zedekiah God would always have someone to sit on that throne of David and it happened to fall through the lineage of the daughters and as you've heard me say before many times one of the daughters names Russ Kota and Skoda would go to Egypt rich Jeremiah and then later to to England and and later the islands where she from her lineage would be called Scotland / scooped up and many might say what was that biblical in part it is but it's also history you ever covered history you ever really make a serious study of history it's really these are promises by God concerning Jerusalem concerning the pigs it's important that you know it verse 9 and I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their heart to be a reproach and a proverb a taunt and a curse in all places whether I have given them that residue I'm going to scatter them and certainly even today they are scattered and many people don't even know where the true houses are verse 10 to complete the chapter and I was in the sword the famine and the pestilence among them till they be consumed from all the land that I gave unto them and to their fathers and so it wasn't they wouldn't kill though in the very end when they would be gathered back there and and certainly this is what is very important this has to do with that time where Paul himself would teach in 2nd Thessalonians chapter 2 don't worry about Christ returning to us it's not going to happen until after the son of perdition king of Babylon the sand in a holy place claiming to be God many people are going to be deceived by that very bad pig the father of the evil pig the father of the fault seat and and certainly on many will be deceived but God's elect shall never be deceived why because they have the seal of God in their forehead which means they have this word whereby they're not going to be deceived now how is it that this parable then came to be you're going to have it with you we're going to go to mark chapter 13 for a moment or two here and we're going to cover after Christ said you're going to be delivered up before the false one you're not to premeditate what you'll say beforehand but you will speak what the Holy Spirit gives you at that moment and which these very things all seven of the trumpets are and that which execute the command are given in the thirteenth chapter mark and the 24th chapter of Matthew it gives you a running account of exactly how it's going down at the end that is why Christ would tell you in in verse five take heed that nobody deceive you for many will come claiming to be Christian preachers but they're not preaching my word okay so having said that that would be verse five we're going to pick it up in verse 21 which has to do with the fig tree listen carefully Christ's words and then If any man shall say to you lo here is Christ or lo he is there believing not when the false one comes when you're going to say Christ has returned but you know it's the evil one you know the false one returns verse 22 for false Christ who were that false Christ's and false prophets shall rise and shall show signs and wonders to seduce if it were possible even the elect that is to say even the good digs but it's not going to happen verse 23 but take you heed behold I have foretold you all things see if you have studied God's Word if you up study his word chapter by chapter and verse by verse father has foretold you all things whereby you have nothing to worry about I mean he always for warns the question is have you read it that's what's important young he's telling him not maybe the king of Babel another great book of Revelation is coming before the Christ does he's insuring it and he lets you know the very purpose of one a true Christian is to stand against him that's you know many people ignoring there was more to God's Word than they've been taught since they were children especially if they are marked as one of God's elect that must make that stand that for their own good will God use them and how precious it is and then continuing verse 24 but in those days after that tribulation that's the tribulation of the false run claiming to be Jesus the Sun shall be darkened and the moon shall not give her light major changes 25 and the stars of heaven shall fall and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken Satan and all of his little ones as it's written in Revelation chapter 12 verse 6 and 7 are cast out onto this earth and so it is verse 26 and then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory this is the true Christ returning and he does not return until this event transpires until after I repeat mark my words well until after the tribulation of the false messiah that is the destiny of God's election is to stand against the false pigs the bad pigs verse 27 and then shall he send His angels and shall gather together his elect from the four winds from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven he pulls together those that he chose before the foundations of this world as it's written in Ephesians chapter 1 verse 4 now listen carefully this is why we came here verse 28 now learn a parable of the fig tree when her branch is yet tender and putteth forth leaves you know that summer is not well now now what is summer well summer is the time for harvest time for the harvesting of souls and let's teach a little word about the fig tree a little harder culture here you don't plant a big by using seed you set out shoots so when in 1948 when that shoot was set out and begin to put forth leaves you better know that generation is getting very close to the time that the false one the false Christ will appear verse 29 so ye in like manner when you shall see these things come to pass know that it is 9 even at the door that is to say in the Greek the word it is the power of it is designated by what the subject is the subject is the coming of the false one and the true one in this case the true one so it should be rather than translated it which would be an object it is an individual it is the Lord Jesus Christ or it should say he is near verse thirty barely I'm saying to you that this generation shall not pass till all these things be done that's why it's important for you to learn the parable of the fig tree because that is the final generation that generation of the big tree 31 heaven and earth shall pass away but my words shall not pass away in other words God's Word is always the same it was in the first earth age it is in this one and it will be in the earth age to come God never he is the same yesterday he is today and he will be forever that's why you can be so very stable in his presence because he does not change he's always there for you he will never leave you he will never forsake you he is always there for you this is the parable of the fig tree within this he gives us a date he gives us the geographical location he lets you know the residue the residue is made up even of Kenites okay can I threw the bad figs in case you hadn't figured that out by this time and and and you have both the good fig and the bad fig in Jerusalem at this time and well how do we know the difference by the spiritual discernment doesn't take you long to figure that out the important thing to know is that before long defaults Christ himself in that generation of the fig tree shall reach his tribulation shall be people come in prosperously and peacefully as it is written both in the book of daniel in the book of revelation and by christ's teachings and the Gospels in all four Gospels so how could you not be warned especially when you would say to you I have told you all things for where did he pour tell us all things in the Word of God you know the Holy Spirit immediates in the anxieties you might have in understanding the word if you'll relax and listen to father instead of man what did it say back in chapter 17 verse 5 of this thing book just in case you might have forgotten I'm going to read it to you in chapter 17 verse 5 thus saith the Lord cursed be the man that trusteth in man and make us flesh his arm and whose heart depart us from the Lord so he's like a Heath in the desert Heath never grows into anything why because it star for truth water living water that is to say Christ so anytime you put your faith and trust in men instead of Almighty God in His Word in the very events when he says something is going to come to pass it's going to come to pass as it yes or Richard that's why he foretells us before he has foretold all things through his prophets and the Gospels so it's there for you to learn Christ made this very clean again as your second witness to this parable of the fig tree in the parable of the tares who planted them well well how could we know for sure who planted them welcome have you ever read it have you ever read we who planted the wicked ones the bad fig Christ told you that when you plant this wheat you're going to have some tears grow up in it and if you're not mistaken I mean they look it's the one in the Greek tongue it means it looks just like wheat growing you can't tell the difference hardly and if you start trying to pull up some of the lives of one tears you're going to pull some weed up with it you're going to destroy some good people so what did God say didn't leave him alone watch them and spiritually discern but God and the angels will take care of them when we did they come from and then then Christ would explain to the disciples they couldn't understand the parable either finally when they were alone they said explain this to us about these tears this bad pig which is what it has reference to and verse 37 of 19:13 would read then he entered and said unto them he that soweth the good seed is the son of man that is our Father himself through the son the Holy Spirit 38 the field is the world that's not difficult is it the field where the tears were stolen is this world this age this good seed are the children of the kingdom that's the king the Lord Jesus Christ and his Dominion but the tares are the children of the wicked one let me figure out who could the wicked one be the naughty things who who who could that be what we don't before tells us all things verse 39 the enemy that sowed them is the devil the harvest is the end of the world and the Reapers are the Angels and therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire so shall it be at the end of this world and so it is this is why it's written also in st. John Christ for telling you all things st. John chapter 8 verse 44 you are of your father the bad pig you are of your father who was the first murderer well who was that well it was Cain and the offspring being the Kenites and you if you are our Father you would do the deeds of our Father but you do not because you are up your father is the devil so you know it's you have been foretold all things have you listened have you learned from God's Word the obvious is there where a child can understand but unfortunately as Christ would have would warn in that thirteenth chapter of Mark in verse five don't let man deceive you for many will come claiming to be Christian preachers many of them will even say that this is not scriptural now this is my word we never we're going to say you don't have to understand God's Word you don't have to understand the book of Revelation you're going to be God only that's a lie do you listen to me and be cursed or do you listen to your father's word chapter by chapter verse by verse whereby you have God's truth that will deliver you from from shame that is to me is just not comprehensible I cannot imagine myself being in that position of worshiping the false one when I have been ruined by my father beyond any shadow of a doubt that he will come first deceiving and being deceived as those that would the bad pigs and unfortunately the ignorant will enjoy that basket a bad fruit thinking it's delicious because they have not studied the Word of God in the simplicity in which Christ teaches it the parable of the fig tree he didn't say maybe you should learn it he said learn it because it makes the big difference of who where you stand in that generation so there you have the very foundation why do you think Christ as he entered Jerusalem would wilt that fig tree because it had no fruit on it because he knew there wasn't even season for the fruit to be there he did it to let you know there are bad figs he knows when harvest is and he wilted it so therefore learning the parable of the fig tree it's extremely important in this poor youth understanding and comprehending the final generation chapter 25 the great book of jeremiah we return there verse 1 the word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah that was the first year of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon this is a very beautiful verse because it what it does it sequences our time with Babylonian time it lets you know as a matter of fact when you take Jehovah Kim only rule for three months but it was counted the year of Jehovah is there is the three and twentieth year the word of the Lord has come in to me and I have spoken to you rising early and speaking which you have not hearkened what is your mind is saying here for 23 years I have tried to drum it into you that the false one is coming the Antichrist the false King the king of Babylon is coming he's going to seduce this nation you haven't listened and now it's a fact okay it's past history verse four and the Lord has sent interviewed all his servants the prophets rising early and sending them but you have not hearkened nor inclined your ear to hear and so it is that God sends his word and the prophets to warn you that the false Christ comes first so that you're not deceived and embarrassed and ashamed when the true Christ does return that you've been in bed with the false one this is why in that same chapter of Mark that we read in mark chapter 13 he says water than you that are a child when I return he is speaking spiritually he means I've been away for 2,000 years and if I come back and find you suckling a small child what does that we it means you've been unfaithful spiritually speaking okay we have a jealous God and he puts things down on where the rubber meets the road that you can understand he's got emotions and he's got feelings don't don't catch yourself in that trap that you would be ashamed when the true Christ returns that he had been deceived by the false one when he for ruins you over and over your mind says of this budget 23 years I've drilled this into you you will not listen verse 5 to continue they said turning you again down everyone from his evil way and from the evil of your doings and dwelling the land that the Lord had given unto you and to your father's forever and ever enjoy it for sick and go not after other gods to serve them lowercase me not our Father and to worship them and provoke me not to anger with the works of your hands and I would do you no hurt this is I father never once he wants to love his children not hurt them but what do you expect from them if you allow yourself to be deceived and do not worship the very father who protects you from the embarrassment of being deceived in the end times you have that right that privilege to knowing to understand the Word of God have you listened have you studied have you learned that's what Jeremiah is saying here you know the father is born now saying if you'll do it my way I will never hurt you quite the opposite he protects you 4:7 yet you have not hearkened unto you saith the Lord that you might provoke me to anger with the works of your hands and to your own heart you do it to yourself over and over and over and over don't listen to the Word of God he has ways of evening things out it is so simple to love him to follow him he used mightily so I might disagree with that because it may it doesn't matter but it's man's spirit usually chooses you see if you say the Holy Spirit totally controls what we think and are do in our
