faith i don't know what you need this morning but whatever you need this morning the atmosphere is ready i cannot do it the atmosphere is pregnant with miracles there is christ to receive there is grace to receive healing there is grace [Music] we need more [Music] you see lazarus lazarus was a friend of of jesus and he became sick to the point of death that the family was shaken they sent out a message to jesus who was the miracle worker who had a reputation that few days before that he had prayed for for someone that was sick he had gotten better as someone that was dead and he got back to life he was a miracle worker with a reputation and they sent a message to him they say jesus lazarus friend is sick to the point of death the bible says that jesus did not respond directly by going there but he made a promise so he spoke to his disciples he said the sickness that lazarus has is not for death see after a few days he died and another message came and he said jesus your friend lazarus who was sick has now died the bible says it is at this point he spoke to his disciples and he said that he's sleeping but he will go there to wake him up and the bible says they started going there and from a distance the sister of lazarus saw jesus coming and she ran out to meet him and she said to him that master if you are here my brother will still be like alive but she said something so powerful she said but i know your father listens to you and whatever you ask of him he will give that to you i know that even now nothing is impossible i want to speak to your situation and whatever you feel you're going through and whatever pressures of life you might be going through i want to tell you the goal that we serve is a god of uneven now your circumstances don't change god your pain doesn't change god your surrounding doesn't change god the bible says jesus responded and they say if you've got that kind of faith show me the place you laid him if you've got that kind of faith show me the place you laid him jesus is calling us to go back to that point where we gave up he's calling us to go back to that point we lost hope he's calling us to go back to that point whereby we felt defeated and he says i am the god of the event now take me to that place take him to the place where you fast where you remember you start believing take him to that place take him to the place whereby you felt defeated and like the whole world was lying it's it's it's it's power on you or its weight on you take me to the place where you lost faith take me to the place where you lost hope take me to the place that you felt defeated take me to that place where you feel you messed up because i am the lord i am the lord that he lives [Music] i [Music] your disease [Music] who is unmerited you don't have to apply for it you don't have to knock any door for it you don't have to ask for permission to receive it you don't have to go anywhere to receive it but that grace is available the unmerited favor and it is the grace that i speak upon your life this morning in the name of jesus jesus lift up a joyful noise in the house of the lord amen you may have your seeds zipporah as she comes to say hi to us in jesus name amen amen amen welcome please the lord in my career even with the mask praise god my name is hazy paranguyae and i love the lord jesus christ as my personal savior i'm delighted to be back in jc second where when i came about 14 years ago i decided that this is the church where i want to be planted and to be bloomed and to bloom where i'm planted glory be to god so being here is just home is a blessing i feel excited i'm seeing very many new faces i've not been here since last year i think it was much when i was here last but the lord has remained faithful praise be to god he has sustained me he has loved me and i can declare that the goodness of the lord can sustain you wherever you are in whatever circumstances glory be to god when i first joined the jcc those early years when i came to washington state the church was very very young so i'm a witness of the goodness of the lord because i know where we started in jcc and we moved from one place to another and even when we are on the other side those who followed us they are we we are very few we grew and grew until we could not fit there and we came here glory be to god so when i look at you i see god's hand in the ministry of jcc when i was coming i was meditating and looking back at what sold me to jcc you know as a ministry because when i came we were taught about the vision and the vision was to plant people praise big to god that the ministry was to plant people not only to plant them to deliver them from their past and to establish them in the covenants of our god glory be to god and that is what was done to me when i joined jcc ministry even if i was already a minister from where i had born moved from i had come from new jersey i had been there for five years and i came and found something that my heart could really embrace to be established completely in the covenants of our god by being taught the word and by teaching the word of god the true word of god that brings deliverance it doesn't matter your past it doesn't matter who you are even before or after it doesn't matter you are yesterday because the word of god can still deliver you praise be to god and establish you again in his covenant and be able to move on glory be to god a time like this i was thinking oh my god a time like this we have been shaken by the covey that i feel you know so attached to the mask that even when i'm getting into my car i have to put on the mask when i'm everywhere i have to put on the mask this is something which has come it has came to uh 2020 and we cannot now be able to live without this mask because we were scared and i was asking myself are we taking the word of god oh can we take the word of god in our lives the way we are taking the mask that i'm not forgetting to put on my mask every time i'm moving around and i'm keeping my social distance because i'm afraid of covet how about the word of god the word of god which is going to deliver you the word of god which is going to keep you the word of god which is going to establish you how are you taking the word this is just temporal praise be to god the master just temporal but how about that which has been planted in us how are we taking it uh is this situation has it even put us deeper to trusting god has it even put us deeper into establish us into the covenant of our god praise be to god the book of sons then ask if the foundation of the righteous are shaken if the foundations are shaken what will the righteous do now our foundations have been shaken our financial foundations probably we are not able to do that at the devils the triples that we have been doing before because time has been cash we are not able to do what we have been we have been used to doing our business has been shaken but what will those who are called by the name of god too please be to god what are you doing at the time of this during this covered season because the foundations the family foundations have been shaken we have witnessed so many deaths in our family in our families and we feel shaken and what are you doing as a person who has been called by the name of the lord what are you going to do psalm 61 says david cried and said from the head of the world oh lord i'll cry unto you hear my cry when my heart is overwhelmed lead me to the lock that is higher than i am glory be to god i want to encourage you today that there is a lock when we feel overwhelmed by the situations around us when we feel downcast because of what is happening there is a lock which is higher than we are that we can learn to jesus christ as the lock where we can hide where we can have our foundation when it is shaken we can surely go and stand and know under the shadow of the almighty we are secure glory be to god i love you guys and i'm excited to be here with you even if i don't know many of you uh i thank god i've been a part of this ministry for a long time and i identify with the ministry and i'm not going anywhere else i belong to jubilee covenant ministries where we plant people and establish them in the covenants of our god so stay established it doesn't matter the shaking jcc has gone through so much i have seen it grow from there until where we are but we have withered every storm glory be to god because there is a lock that is higher than we are and we learned to learn and create in this lock and we have stood with stood every stone because there is a god in heaven glory be to god sorry i wasn't coming to preach surpass i was given just time to say hi hi i was sent by my senior pastor pastor martin and pastor minnie bogue and whom under the anointing i submit praise be to god just as much as i submitted after the anointing of pastor steve and pastor chico they are my children i submit other the anointing because an anointing that you don't respect an anointing that you don't honor will have no effect in your life so i learned early enough to submit under every anointing of god where he prompts me so i was sent by my pastor to come and bring greetings to you and i was given a token uh to come give to your pastor that jcc tacoma many we are i i i get to know everybody in church and i notice the movements of everybody who comes to church so there's this guy who started coming to church and he was really active coming he was coming on time and i knew something was going on when he was when he took a vantage point and was sitting at the back and i kept watching him i did not ask him anything till he came to me and it's amazing what uh what you can get when you take advantage point so maybe ashes don't be too hard on those single guys who like sitting at the back if they are married push them to the front but if they are still searching let them have a vantage point please put your hands together for mr guitar monkey please come over here mr guitar mr guitar has been my good friend for many many years and uh caribou welcome welcome welcome so this guy here came and he took a vantage point and he was watching he was the bible says you watch and pray and he took that scripture very literally and he was watching as he prayed and he saw one of the daughters of this house and she said he said to himself if he can transfer that anointing from the pulpit to the house it will be more effective and so i want also to invite one of our one of our daughters in the house one job please come over put your hands together for one job [Applause] yes uh these two if you see them together the guy has done everything necessary we just have one more step to go uh two yeah two two then we are going to be official uh they are engaged as a couple and we want to celebrate and uh so if you see them somewhere having coffee past bedtime please just make sure they have two cars but don't don't take it so personal they're engaged and we celebrate them and they did it the right way one just said if you are serious go talk to my pastor and guys in this church they know that is one of the hardest things when you when when they send you to the pastor there are some who have refused to come and my daughter has come and said did he come to you as if he did not come run away he's not coming and so mr munge and wanja are engaged and they are looking forward to getting married we are going to support them but i wanted to make it official from the pulpit that we know what is going on in them and now with them and we are doing everything that we are supposed to do as a church we are doing uh every process that every couple goes through until we do their wedding and i just wanted to make an official announcement that mr munge has seen a girl in this ministry and he has decided to wife her up and don't know which brother is having a vantage point are you ready for the word are you ready for the word isaiah 60. isaiah chapter 60. hallelujah somebody one time said hey now we are monkey ninny now you know and that is a good daughter let's bring them here don't go where they are bring them here let them toil amen isaiah chapter 60 let us continue praying for some of our members that are going through a difficult time we have some people who are sick let us continue praying for them and david king is doing very well he only has i believe two days to be able to move out to get out of the hotel thank you to those who have supported him and i prayed with him to send him a text sent your money uh it's gone a long way in helping them and so uh they should be here in a few days but officially their uh isolation periods ends in uh in a day or two and uh they are doing they are all doing very well so they are all doing very well and uh worshiped him thank you for being a blessing and standing in the gap uh i'm sure he's proud of you isaiah chapter 60 from verse one to 7 allow me to read in jesus name arise shine for your light has come and the glory of the lord has risen upon you for behold darkness shall cover the earth and thick darkness the people but the blood will arise upon you and his glory will be seen upon you and nations shall come to your light and kings to the brightness of your rising lift up your eyes all around and see see they all gather together they come to you you sons shall come from far your sons shall come from afar and your daughters shall be carried on the heap then you shall see and be ready and your heart shall thrill and exalt because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you the wealth of the nation shall come to you a multitude of camels shall cover you the young camels of the median and effort and those from sheba shall come they shall bring gold and frankincense and shall bring good news the praises of the lord verse 7 all the flocks of kedah shall be gathered to you the realms of nabayoth shall minister to you they shall come up with acceptance on my altar and i will beautify my beautiful house join me in prayer father thank you for you are gracious in all you do this word lord you gave to me is for us i pray that you may use me to speak it the way you intend bless the listener and i pray that we may be do us of this word in jesus name we pray isaiah prophet isaiah puts his pen to punishment and he writes this uh portion of scripture and he speaks to a nation that has been in dissolution and a nation that has been shaken by the some events that have happened and uh he speaks to them from a prophetic point uh point of view and he sees them from an eagle's eye point and he looks at them and he speaks and he says very powerful word as he opens this scripture he says arise and shine and and uh both the words arise and shine in in this verse are actually indicative of a change and the good news is that anything can be a change but this was a specifically indicative of a change of that is positive it is not a change that is negative but he speaks and he says arise shine as a command and they both uh cannot improve they speak of an improved life and improve standard of life and in line with god's plan because before this we see prophet jeremiah in jeremiah 29 11 he speaks and he says that for i know the plans that i have for you declares the lord he says they have plans to prosper you and not to harm you they are plans to give you a hope in the future and then we find also that that also you know we also find that there is also paul apostle paul in third john verse 2 he speaks and he says beloved i wish above all things that you may prosper and be in good health look at somebody tell them good health is your portion he say that even as you prosper in your good health also may your soul prosper so the book of isaiah is full of prophecies and they are given by isaiah as they have been received from the lord there are some categories that we learn about in theological studies and when they classify isaiah as a major prophet as compared to some of other prophets that are minor prophet and he is not major because he was more powerful but he is major because of the magnitude of the accuracy or the magnitude of the prophecies that he gave and also the magnitude of the revelation to the future that god used him to speak upon and also is obedient many prophecies that were recording us so he's regarded as a major prophet so this book of isaiah is full of prophecies of many of isaiah's prophecies they are given in earlier chapters they were unpalatable to the israelites because they described the imminent wrath the judgment and the punishment of god that would come on the people as a result of their disobedience to god and his laws and their general decadence and so when isaiah comes he's coming at a time whereby god's people have done things that deserve to be judged harshly and in a place of judgment but isaiah comes and inside the judgment he starts seeing some things working in the favor of god's people let me declare to you that no matter where you find yourself god always has a good plan for your life no matter where you find yourself no matter the kind of corner you find yourself connor to god will always have a good plan for you in particular there are some prophecies about wars upon the unfaithful in israel when you read chapter 5 of isaiah then you go to chapter 29 this will lead to unpleasant outcomes because in isaiah 29 verse 4 i was written and the bible says that you shall be brought down and you shall speak out of the ground and your spirit shall be low out of their dust your voice shall be as one of those that have a familiar spirit out of the ground and your spirit shall whisper out of the dust but i want to declare to you that we serve our faithful god you see religion has made us to paint a picture upon god as an angry god as an angry and an angry supernatural being that is always ready to strike when you go astray but i want to describe to you that apart from religion we serve a faithful god we serve a god who forgives us we serve a god full of patience and mercy we serve a god who will always give you not a second chance but i is going to give you another chance i tell people that god is not a god of a second chance because when you classify him as a god of a second chance you put him in a box that he can only do it a second time but we serve a god of another chance of meaning it doesn't matter what chance you find yourself at if you are going to be if you are going to be repenting if you are going to repent if you are going to seek his face he is going to give you another chance please dump your neighbor for me and tell them your god is of another chance so again is this backdrop over of a dejected downcast and depressive status of zion isaiah pronounced many blessings that would accrue to those that have contrite and repentant heart and also a humble spirit who will be obedient to the lord of light and follow his tattoos you see he speaks and he says that there is judgment but he's also saying that if you are going to repent if you are going to turn away from your wicked ways i will bless you and it is at this point in isaiah 16 that he speaks prophetically and he says arise shine and it is spelt out our eyes shine and the implication is that no matter how negative your life has been no matter how negative your past has been no matter how dark your path has been no matter how tempted your life has been no matter how difficult or mountainous how your life has been no matter how many valleys you found yourself in no matter how many halls you found yourself in isaiah speaks and he says that it is time for you to arise and shine meaning that he's not suggesting but he's saying it's a moment for you to arise and shine and it doesn't matter your status god can make you arise and shine if your marriage is in a mess or your finances are failing or your spiritual life is sliding down the hill or you're facing darkness with respect to either your career or your children or your school or whatever aspect of life ah he says that it is your moment to arise and to shine it is your moment to arise and to shine i don't know what demons you've been fighting i don't know what difficulty you've been fighting but isaiah speaks to the children of israel after a lot of condemnation he speaks and he says that hey children of god is your moment to arise and shine it is not a suggestion it is a command that you are going to arise so if you've been doubting god i came as a voice of god this morning to tell you that you're going to arise it doesn't matter how dark it seems in your life you are going to arise somebody help me by saying amen so he says you're going to arise and you can't because because in matthew 19 26 it says with god all things are possible so no matter where you are with god all things are possible so why do you need to arise and shine because before embarking on a strategy to make something a reality it helps to understand the conviction that the thing is doable or even achievable and so let me share with you four reasons why you can rise and shine in the context of isaiah chapter 60 verse one i start with my first point because it is a law arising is law are you here so when he speaks he says otherwise the first two words of isaiah 60 is arise shine and so this phrase is not as a suggestion it's not given as a suggestion in fact it is not an advice it is not a dream neither is it an option actually it is a command as received from god and i wanted to understand that when a command is released you have no option when a command has been released you have no option you cannot ask you cannot get any answer but when the command has been given arise shine it means that no matter where you find yourself you are going to arise and to shine you understand if you have followed the story of soldiers and stuff like that you are going to understand that when it is a command you do it before asking questions so this is a command and you see if it is a command what does the lord say about his command in psalm 19 verse 7 he says that the law of the lord is perfect the law of the lord is perfect what does he do converting the soul the testimony of the lord is sure what does the testimony of the lord do and the command of the lord do they make it they make the wise the simple so whatever the word of god says it is settled even in heaven for psalm 1 1989 says for all for forever oh lord your word is settled in heaven so if the lord speaks a word upon your life that one is already settled in heaven and so it is just it is just communicating to your soul and when you receive it it becomes permanent and that is why it is important to receive your word because it is already settled in heaven amen it is already settled in heaven it is not that they are waiting to see if you are going to accept it so that it can be set or not by the time it leaves the throne of mercy and released it is settled so when you receive it immediately it starts working in your life and so isaiah speaks and he says arrive shine if you need a positive change from your present status it is consistent with the word of god and the word of god is so powerful that the devil cannot change or alter the plan of god for you all you need to do is to cooperate with god are you cooperating with god because for his word to be true and his what to be complete you have to cooperate with god and it is the only way the devil cannot alter the word of god you know sometimes the devil alters the word of god because we doubt the word of god because how do you speak to a nation in in dissolution how do you speak to a nation that condemnation has already been spoken then you tell them that is their moment to arise and to shine how do you convince them they say how do we arise and shine yet we are a nation under judgment no the lord has said it number two it is of the lord the validity of this statement or this command depends on the out of the law are you here the author of the law is important who said it who said what you who said it you see it is different if i say today if i went to kent and i talked to our mayor and i moved here and i say can i sit on that seat oh i moved i i give up a command she will not take me serious because there is an author that has been elevated to a certain office and they have a certain power and so there is something they can speak and when they speak at that level you have no choice than command or respect the command so the author is important who is the author of your life and why have you been taking suggestions from human beings why have you been believing what people say you are yet the out of your life has already given you a name and an assignment and they are saying who you are why do you listen to people outside the author the out of the statement said their statement was valid because the author was god you see the command to arise and to shine came from the almighty god who says he's able to perform his own word he said he's able to perform so in ezekiel chapter 12 he says for i am the lord i will speak and the word that i shall speak shall come to pass he says that i am the lord and i will speak that is why i tell you all the time if you tell me the lord has told you i don't argue why should i argue with somebody who the lord has told who am i if you tell me the lord has told you to go to i-5 and stand in the middle of it and no car will touch you if you just say the lord has told even if i know deep down my heart i'll just pray for god to forgive my unbelief but i will not stop you because you say the lord has told you and some people when they put up a straight face and say the lord has said you can tell from their eyes the lord has been quiet the lord has said nothing but it is a religious way we have found to to to to to to scare each other that the lord has said let me tell you if you even you say the lord has said and you roll over seven times is the lord he said that they are saying i have said and i was squared the whole time has the lord said it and sometimes you know you know in our when we were when we were growing as a young evangelist we were on fire for god and uh you know now we were on fire for god and uh we were taught uh we were taught how to believe in visions and what a vision would mean and there is this young man who came and talked to my pastor then and he said pastor i i had a vision i don't know what it means and the person said what was it and i said i was in a place and this place was full of people and i was preaching and i just i just i just lifted my hand and everybody was on the floor pastor what does it mean and this pastor god is god bless him he's probably watching or he's going to watch he watches my son was a lot his name is pastor he's going to come here one time he said wait wait wait that means that you're full of flesh and you're just making your imagination because you want to be a preacher you're making your imagination become a vision he said you did not dream nothing and the lord did not show you anything like that say go and sleep again there is no meaning because in fact this person is giving you a vision that already he has interpreted so you see sometimes i was saying that to say sometimes we do things to force god into the situation i've had people who say god told me to marry this one and you know no no it's not god you you sow the height or the weight or the color or something or you just want to be married like your best friend is you know this one will end up in what they call premium tears you know there is tears then there is premium there's premium tears this one they have they come with extra so you when you have to be able to understand who is the author not only that but even when it comes to our christian walk with god don't give everybody permission to speak over your life not everybody has a right to lay hands on you even if they speak in tongues like a generator nobody don't give everybody a right to lay their hands on you because that is what we call deeper the transfer of spirits they will say the lord has told me there are people that are told the lord has told me go and empty your bank i empty my back okay before you empty that bank make sure the lord has said and i'm not saying god cannot say it i know god can say it but god will have a backup plan for you so i will go and ask god god did you say i empty my account yes and take it where to this man or woman of god okay and how will i pay my bills i will take care of it okay i'll take it and i will tell this man or woman of god me i'm waiting on god if he doesn't show up don't bank it yet but what i'm trying to say is that we must be able to interrogate people who say that they have heard from the lord because we have it has become a cliche it's something that people just say and they say it with a serious face that is so anointed in quotes they look like they really know what they are saying you must cooperate with god to understand the validity of a statement that is said to come from the lord are you here the lord who commands you to arise and shine will make it happen and he will make it happen at the right time the other thing is that the lord is the light the main reason given by isaiah why the people should arise shine is because their light has come and the glory of the lord is on them he says in verse arise shine for your light is come and the glory of the lord has risen upon you the light referred to here is the messiah who is jesus christ the son of god in malachi chapter 4 verse 6 it refers him as the son of righteousness the light of righteousness so jesus christ aptly described himself as the light of the world and this one is found two times in the scripture he says in john 18 12 that he spake jesus jesus spoke and he said i am the light of the world he that follows me shall not walk in darkness but shall have the light of life and then he said in john 9 5 as long as i am in the world i am the light of the world so wherever jesus was going he would become the light and so isaiah is connected directly to the prophecy of the messiah and so when he says arise and shine or arise shine the light has come what is speaking the light is speaking about is the light which is the light of the world the light of the world is jesus christ and so when this light of the world is resident in you then you are going to arise and shine because the light of the world lives in you and you will no longer walk in darkness but you are going to walk in the light somebody say amen so wherever jesus christ is there is light so in your life just because jesus is in it there is light and if you notice some darkness in it it is not the absence of who he is but is to know that even though it may be dark for now i know that morning may endure for a night by joy comes in the morning even though i may be in darkness right now i know that at some point the light will step in and when the light steps in the darkness cannot be in the same place so jesus christ has the capability to radiate divine rays of light to those who will hit his call and get out of the darkness and come into his light and so there is also the fourth point which is a sign of life because they're only living only their living can rise and shine their death cannot rise and shine only their living can rise and shine and i know you may be pressed by many issues in your life i know you may be going through a a rough patch in your life i know you may be going through some difficulties that are known to you i know you may be fighting some battles that you don't understand but i want to let you know that as long as you're breathing in and out there is a chance in your life to arise and shine and even though right now you feel like you are on the ground there is christ for you to arise and to shine look at your name i tell them a good amen because you don't know what they are going through the bible says in isaiah 38 for the grave cannot praise you that cannot celebrate you then leaving he shall praise you as i do this death so i want you to understand that this prophecy is not for the dead but if you can hear my voice no matter what stage of life you are in you may be sick and not feeling well you may be at the lowest point of your life but the isaiah is telling us this morning that it is your moment to arise and shine and i want to declare to you if you're walking in the dark there's about to be some light in your life if your family is in the dark there is about to be some light in your life if your systems are in the dark there is about to be light in your life why because there is a command that you are going to arise shine for the light has come somebody give him a hand of praise in this house and i want to speak to you and tell you as long as you are alive there is potential for you to arise please help me preach to your neighbor tell them neighbor i don't know what you're going through but so long as you're breathing in and out there is potential for you to arise there is potential for you to be blessed there is potential for you to be great there is potential for you to overcome there is potential for you to be free there is potential for you to prosper there is potential for you to walk again and to live again if you can breathe in and out it means that the lord is not done yet with you your mama may be done with you your friend may be done with you your enemies may be done with you the system may be done with you our people around you may be done with you the church may be done with you but the lord is not done with you and when he commands the light will shine and the darkness will flee somebody give him a hand of praise in the house yes because it is only the blessings of god that can make you arise and shine all you have to do is to praise god and you are going to shine don't wait for their lives to praise him even in the minutes of the darkness i will praise him in the minutes of my temptation i will praise him in the minutes of my trials i will praise him i will not wait for the light i will praise before the light arrives so i will praise him in the mountain i will praise him in the valley i will praise him in the minutes of a storm because i know it's a matter of time before the light comes you see sometimes it may be dark but you know the day is coming the reason why you may wake up at night you are sleepless because of what you are going through you look at the window and it is dark there is nothing that gives you hope like tomorrow is another day and tomorrow the light will shine again and why are we talking about light and dark it's because when you see darker you know the light is coming and when you see darkness you know light is coming when you see light you understand that darkness is coming and so every time i'm in a dark place i lift up my eyes to the hills where does my help comes from my help comes from the lord the maker of heaven see how do you arise and shine because while god has already made provision for his followers to arise and shine and your followers must play their part to actualize the plan in the individual lives the lord has already released the word of god upon you to arise and to shine so what do you need to do because you have to cooperate with god amen you have to cooperate with god you see you as long as the power switches in your house are off position there will be darkness there will be darkness in the house so long as those switches are off in the house especially in the dark night see so when you turn the power on everything else is in order there will be an immediate change from darkness to light and the reason why that will happen is because you took an action sometimes you live in darkness because you refuse to take an action because sometimes your actions may not be popular your action may not be applauded your action may not be the action that you may expect no no no no your action may not be appreciated but take the action see in my house i do that every time because my wife is literally she walks in the light so every switch she passes by she cannot pass by without switching it on i was talking i was talking to i was talking to uh some young guys last night and they were asking me questions about relationships and they were asking me that uh why do you find you're looking for somebody to marry why do you find somebody with this amount of qualities and you find they are lacking some then you find another one that has some of what you are not finding there i say it's because when it comes to marriage you find somebody who has 60 of what you're looking for you work on twenty percent that is eighty percent then you live within twenty percent some of my twenty percent that i live with is a switch situation she switches them on and i switch them off and we are happy couple there is peace in the beginning i would i was complaining why do you why why are you switching all the lights you know how much the bill is honestly i don't know how much the bill is do you know how much the bill is but i decided this is this is her and so i switch them off and we have peace she never complains i don't complain that is the 20 percent you have to live with all right we have young men here who are hitting 45 and 46 and 50 because they are looking for perfection this perfection will never come you have to find 60 percent work on 20. and the other 20 you really have to live with it oh it applies also to my sisters you find 60 percent he's tall dark and handsome but very broke you can you can you can work on something there he can help his finances here and there you find he's very rich and everything else is not working so pastor what do i do just look for somebody who loves the lord and make sure they will not love you more than they love the lord because then they put you in conflict with god himself did you hear that you have to make sure you find somebody who doesn't love you more than he loves god because now they put in conflict with god because god does not share his glory and some of the people he have loved they've put us into conflict with god because they loved us more than god that will help somebody oh it's not a it's not a marriage counselling it was a someone let me go back to my sermon also you want the other thing that you need to do you have to connect with god when the power switches on the position it is an action that you take so like i said my wife would switch it on and i'll take an action of switching it off it will stay on if nobody takes an action it will stay off if nobody takes an action so there are some things in your life that god wants you to take an action he has already released the potential he has already blessed the steps he has already increased everything he has already provided everything that you need all he needs you to do is to take an action the problem is that we are we are raising a very lazy uh lazy generation of believers we are raising a very lazy generation of believers who believe in quick miracles microwave miracles they believe in they they want microbes they want everything fast they don't want to work for it that is why they are going to attend a meeting whereby they are they are promised that money will come from heaven i tell people money has never you see there is no currency in heaven the currency in heaven if you must have some currency is faith faith is the only thing that is used to exchange so on earth if it is money for god to give you money from nowhere he has to have stolen it from somewhere and i don't know about it but the god that i serve cannot steal it so what he will give you is some brain to make some money you understand he will give you ideas or not only that he will give you he will send somebody to be a blessing to you financially that is still okay that's how he works but he will not make money rain from heaven if you have a prophet promising that run away because it will not happen it will not because money has a legal tender where do they find the signature where does god find the signature of the central central bank governor to put it on the money god does not work like that god gives you brain and he wants you to think he wants you he gives you ideas he gives you he gives you some some some some some ways you think some ways you become creative the action i'm talking about for you to cooperate with god is the ideas that god gives to your mind and that is how you cooperate with god so you ask god god what idea can i use and sometimes your idea may not be popular the problem with our generation we want to do what everybody else is doing everybody is doing it so we are going to do that we saturate a market then we leave that market we saturate another market we leave that market but why don't you tell god give me an idea just one original idea just one original idea that will change my life you see you must be able to connect you must be able to take an action and so there are those things that you must do to arise and to shine my time is gone i'm going to go through them really quick so that i can release you on time the first thing you must do is you must connect with christ you must connect with christ tell your neighbor connect with christ because any object before any object can shine there must be a source of reflection of the light to that object in other words it is reflected light that makes things sparkle and shine reflected light is what makes things sparkle and shine so there has to be a source of light and the source of life for us believe us is jesus christ so when you're connected with jesus christ he gives you a light that eliminates in your life it's a reflection of who he is so you start shining as a result of jesus being inside of you jesus christ is the light of the world according to john 8 8 12 and 9 5 and he declares that without me you can do nothing he says without me you can do nothing he's the light in order to shine thereof you must be connected with jesus christ from which you can obtain the light that will make you shine furthermore he can give you the power to arise as he's the custodian of all the heavenly and ugly power he's the custodian thereof his power that made lazarus to rise up from the dead he he is the same power his father made that 12 year old damsel to arise from the dead if that power can suddenly work for you all you need to do is to allow him into your life so that he can make your life shine you are not dead yet you are alive your case is not as bad as of that of lazarus or that of the 12 year old girl but you are alive so long as you're breathing in and out there is potential for you to arise up and so i want to encourage you and to tell you that no matter what you're fighting or tell you or what you're going through there is potential for you to arise and to shine also my point to consume god's word what are you eating if you are going to eat god's word because you see everything will pass away prophecies will pass away good songs will pass away good people will pass away but the word of god stays forever so be somebody who consumes the word of god it is the only thing that has power to change the center you knew the power in the world of jesus and he tapped into this power in matthew 8 8 when he said jesus just speak a word and my servant shall be healed sometimes you don't need all drama all you need is one word from the lord and that one word from the lord will transform your life completely somebody give jesus a good hand of praise you see the bible says in psalm 119 the bible says that the entrance of your words gives light so arise shine for the light has come then in our exams just before it says that the entrance of the world of god is what gives light so when the word of god enters you you receive light and the light that i'm talking about is the light of the world who is jesus christ the psalmist knew that if he could get the word of god into his system then he would shine tell your neighbour all you need is a word from god you see in in joshua one day the lord promised good success and prosperity a form of arising and shine to his people if only they will be involved with the word of god day and night upon this word meditate meditate upon this word day and night and it is obvious thereof that one of the strategies for achieving a rise shine status is to create an affinity for the word of god to the point that it becomes indispensable to one as food is as continuous living how much word of god do you carry how much of word of god do you listen to how much of the word of god does pushes you throughout the week because if you invest in the word of god every season of your life will have a word to push you to the next you need the word of god and thirdly you need to commit to the work of god for you to arise and shine you have to commit to the work of god and i have to tell you the work of god is not play the work of god is dangerous it's hard it's called time consuming energy consuming but you must be able to commit to god's work why because he says in james 2 20 that faith without work is dead and so any member of the household of faith who does not want to remain cast down as a dead lion must be prepared to do the work of god consistently without fail and as a believer your good work can make you arise shine if you follow the cancer of jesus in matthew 5 16 what did he say he said let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your father which is in heaven people may not see the light but they may see your good work and this will reflect and they will praise your father in heaven because while all the works that can advance god's kingdom agenda are important and necessary there is one that stands out and that can make you arise and work and that is the work of winning souls the work of willing souls is not just for the pastors but is for all the believers because we have family members who are not believers we have workments that are not believers we have people we encounter that we that are non-believers you see you have all that and you can reach out to them and i've told people in church many times that sometimes you don't need to preach to them you just need to invite them to church sometimes you don't need to preach to them because maybe not everybody is a preacher but everybody is a is a sole winner in one way or the other i told you promise them lunch just don't specify when they come here talk to the kitchen department they give you 10 mandates and just say that is part of the lunch i wanted you to get and the fellowship the word will transform them amen the word is what i'm a firm believer of the word of god i'm a firm believer that the word of god is what changes and this word of god is alive and active and is what wins what is going to win souls and you are called to be a partaker or a co-worker with god in winning of souls and that is why i'm saying that for you to be able to arise and shine you have to commit to the work of god do me a favor ask your neighbor what is your position in the kingdom of god don't wait for an answer they don't have one get busy with the work of god because some of us we have abandoned what our position is or was you know where we we when we were on fire for god some of us maybe we were ashes some of us we were music ministers some of us we were one thing or the other some of us maybe were in the media some of us were instrumentalists some of us were so many giftings that are here and as you are serving you are believing god to open the door for you you say god i'm investing this time and god says the way you are serving me i'm going to take you to another nation so you can serve me then you came here you found they allow people to work triples you know in kenya you have to go to work in the morning and by five you're going home everyone then you find here you can actually go 48 hours so long as you are standing and we came here we got lost we make so much money but when you look at your account it's still red you change banks it's still the same thing it is because you are called as a workmanship in the house of god but you don't do it anymore you have other priorities you'd rather hang out then be at work be i be be somewhere serving god and that is why i always tell people in jcc we have positions open for you to serve and the good thing about god is that when you're not serving it doesn't mean that somebody is not doing it somebody is doing it but god wants you to step and to do your part because the kingdom of god is not built by an individual is built by many people amen because some of us all we do is to complain about our church those ashas are so lazy how are those guys singing today that pastor how was he preaching you know you have ideas you say you know you see those lights they use it if one can be taken to that one corner you have a lot of ideas to yourself you're complaining out there as you're eating burgers and we need you to implement that to this work because when we build together we grow together like i said if there is a position you served in your previous ministry or where you came from any country you came from or or any church you've come from and you were serving and you decided to sit down be careful be careful because if you are going to arise shine you have to do your part in walking or commit to god's work some people are blessed just to be kingdom financials there's some people who are blessed to be kingdom financials this person cannot even quote one scripture even john 3 16 they they they quote it halfway but their kingdom financials they they look at the kingdom they give finances to the kingdom to advance the kingdom they are people who are gifted like that and they never lack i can hear people saying father bless me with money me i prefer the kingdom financing that sounds easy for kingdom financing father bless me his finances there are people who are blessed like that amen there are people who are blessed we they are people right now we are calling for volunteers in our kids department they are people who are blessed but they are sitting and they say uh i want a sunday school because and you are one of them that question god will ask you in the throne of mercy mia will be there listening i'm doing my part for you to rise and shine you also have to cultivate righteous living how do you live your life how do you live your life you have to cultivate righteous living aside from connecting with christ or or consuming his words or committing to his work righteous living must be the focal point of the one who wants to arise and shine you must be able to always strive to be in the right standing with god and you are in the right standing with god in so many things in conversation in deeds in all things speaking through king solomon the word of god indicates that the righteous or they just are going to shine brighter and brighter it says in proverbs 4 18 but the path of the of the just is as the shining light that shineth more and more and to the perfect day meaning that if you live a righteous life no matter what darkness tries to engage for you you are going to shine you are going to shine brighter and brighter the power to live righteously has been given to us by jesus christ if you use it you are going to arise and shine in jesus name somebody say father help me live a righteous life the fifth one and the last one is that god is god is calling us forth god god is calling us forth or calling forth another way to appropriate the blessing of god and to make you arise and shine is to use the power of the tongue to your advantage there is so much power in your tongue that you don't realize the bible says that you are going to speak things that are not as though they are you are going to speak things and they become there is so much power in your tongue you must be able to realize and what i mean by this is that you should harvest god promises and plants for you to arise and shine by confessing and claiming them with your mouth and taking appropriate action to make them happen you have to remember god's word as uttered by job he says so thou i shall decree i think and it shall be established that you are going to speak a thing and it shall be done and you speak with your mouth there is anointing in your mouth there is power in your tongue you can speak to things that are dying and they will live you can speak to things that are lost and they will be found you can speak to a situation that has no form and it gains formal why because there is power in your tongue there is power of your words and when you speak those things are going to happen we are giving the story in second kings chapter 4 about the shuma night woman with our only son dead in a house she ran to elijah for help and when elisha asked her is it well with you the bible says that she answered and she said it is well even though her son was lying dead even though her husband was somewhere you see the bible says that he said it is well sometimes you have to confess even in the minutes of trouble you have to be to be able to say that it is well even in the minutes of tribulation you must be able to confess that it is well because from the confession of your mouth it reaches the ears of god and he establishes your word saying it is well do not be somebody who drums up stories of how the devil you see their people all they do is to complain all they do is to say how the devil has sparks them but if you can learn to say it is well this woman although she had a dead son she said it is well because she believes in the words of her mouth that if i say it is well it shall be well and i want to challenge you if you want to arise and shine you must be able to command your morning you must be able to command your days you must be able to command your life you must be able to speak to situations you must be able to speak to systems you must be able to tell systems that i don't know what system you're doing to everybody but for me you are going to work in my favor i don't know what everybody says about this business but i am going to prosper in this business i don't know what people say about the field but i'm going to prosper in this field why because there is power in your town you shall speak to situations that are dead you are going to cause them to arise by your words please turn to your neighbor tell them speak to your situation speak to your situation the bible says in proverbs 18 21 that they bothered the power of life and death is in the power of the town and the bible says they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof they either love the power of the town they are going to eat the fruits they are offered then let the devil to tie you from south do not don't let the devil draw you from one place to the next don't let the devil plant fear and intimidation in your life but learn to confess the word of god in the minutes of trouble and to say it is well in the ministry of painland to say it is well in the ministry of trial and to say it is well in the meanings of confusion like to say it is well because when you confess it you are going to receive it nobody can speak it over your life before they speak it over your life speaking upon yourself look at yourself in the mirror and call that person you see a victor call them a conqueror call them blessed are the most high god because and what you see in yourself is what the world will see in you if you see defeat the world will see defeat if you see fear the world will see fear the devil is a liar you have been called to arise and shine it doesn't matter what the devil tries to do you have the anointing and the potential to rise and to shine no matter how down you've been casted you've been anointed to arise and shine come to people for me and tell them you are going to shine again oh you are going to shine again i don't know how you feel about your life but the god that i serve is the same yesterday today and forever and he said that if i don't change ah my word will not change and everyone that proceeded from my mouth it will not come back void don't you know he says no we confession afghanistan that is going to prosper don't you know that it says every time that rises against you shall be condemned don't you know that it says that you are going to operate on a different level don't you know that he said that healing is your portion don't you know that he said that power is lies in your tongue don't you know that it says that you shall see the goodness of the land you shall eat the fruit thereof god did not bring you to this level so that he cannot shame you but he says in his word the idea is therefore no condemnation to those who are in christ jesus if you are in him you cannot be condemned if you are in him you cannot be laughed at if you are in him you cannot win you cannot lose because in me there is a winner look at your neighbor tell them there is a winner in you there is a winner in you he says that i am the lord your healer so when the devil attacks me in a sickness when he attacks me with discouragement i know that the lord who lives in me says that he's a hero so i am not begging for healing her but healing is my portion i speak to everybody that is sick or everybody that has a loved one that needs this word i speak healing upon their lives in the mighty name of jesus i want to declare the power of our tongue and so under this anointing i speak to every situation that it is turning around in your favor somebody stand on your feet and start speaking to situations if it is about sickness not speaking healing her it is about her hopelessness start speaking hope if it's about faithlessness start speaking faith is whatever it is i don't know what it may be but i want you to open up your mouth and start speaking i have blessing upon blessing her everywhere the devil calls the castle i speak there is going to be a blessing where they pay whatever the government for evil it will turn around for your good somebody all i say it will turn out for my good whatever has been planned against you i speak under this anointing it is going to work in your favor why because there is power in your tongue and you call things that are not astonishing i don't know what you need but open up your mouth and call those things that are not as though they are call those things that seem not to be working to work now because those situations it may not be you it may be somebody a friend or a sister or a brother a mother or a son or a daughter or somebody that you might know i want you to open up your mouth and stand in the gap for them speak their healing speak their recovery speak their restoration i speak hope i speak encouragement speak comfort open up your mouth and pray in this place you see according to this word the command arise and shine sinners can be saints downcast can be lifted failures can be successful we people can be chained to joy the rich can get richer the sick and get healed in fact every abnormal situation is tantamount to darkness and can be reversed when the light of god comes to that situation why because jesus is the light of the world is the source of solution to all our problems anyone who wants to arise and shine when you connect to jesus every darkness is lifted and you are blessed open up your mouth and confess prosperity open up your mouth and speak victory open up your mouth in the name of jesus oh it's time for you to arise in china it's time for your children to arise and shine it's time for your business to arise and shine it's time for your academics to arise in china it's time for your finances to arise in china it's time for that promotion to come along it's time for that healing to come along it's time for those clients to come along it's time for that contract to go through it's time for that application to go through in his time in his time in his time in his time i can feel it in my belly as fire burns and as a servant of god i speak to everybody under my voice who will believe this word let there be a change in your life let there be a positive report in the name that is above every other name the name of jesus arise shine for your light has come and the glory of the lord has risen upon you and so what is going to happen the bible says that behold darkness shall cover the earth and thick darkness the peoples but the lord will arise upon you and his glory will be seen upon you father in the name of jesus may there be a distinction between us and those around us let there be a distinction between us and the world there there be a distinction between who we are and what you've called us to be and then let us stand out because this is the one we are speaking upon our lives the bible says nation shall come to your life and the kings to the brightness of your rising god is going to attract what you've been looking for for years he's going to come to you and prosper you in the name of jesus i pray blessing upon your hands that you're going to touch things and they're going to work in your favor you are going to apply and those applications will go through i don't know what you came this morning believing god to do but as a servant of god i speak you shall be done [Music] how do you arise why do you arise because it is the law and the law is of the lord and the lord is the light the light is the sign of life [Music] and so how do you arise you rise when you connect with christ when you connect with christ you consume his word when you have consumed his word you commit to his work when you commit to his work you cultivate a righteous living and when you live right before god god's promises come forth father in the name of jesus we thank you for his word father may we arise and shine there are people in our middle some are not here some of us some of them are watching us [Music] they're going through a difficulty moment lord some of them are sick lord i speak your healing hand upon them give them strength some of them are mourning lord they have lost so much father i pray that you may comfort them and stand with them father i give you the glory for every prayer of faith that has been lifted in this sanctuary today for the lord i pray that that prayer may reach to the throne of mercy in the name that is above every other name the name of jesus some people walked through these doors with heavy heart comfort them lord i pray that this word will penetrate in them and do that which you have sent it to do we worship your name we give you the glory and honor we glorify you for you are god and god alone there is none like you lord we are in the midst of a pandemic that keeps mutating to different things lord and this has caused fear in our midst has shaken us out of our comfort zones but we put our trust in you that yes we shall live and not die to tell of your faithfulness some of our businesses are in japanese some of our employment is uncertain but lord i pray that he you who makes the sun to rise in the morning and go to sleep at night may you cause your light to shine in our lives put our trust in you we confess and we believe that it's our season even in the middle of a pandemic to arise and shine in jesus mighty and precious name we pray and we believe put those hands together before the lord come on jcc i think we can do better than that give jesus a good hand of praise glory to jesus look at somebody encourage them and tell them you shall arise tell them you shall stand again tell them you shall shine again may god almighty bless you may he lift you may he make you arise and shine may he watch over you may he bless the work of your hands that everything you touch to do will succeed may you bless your feet that you will guide them to where he wants you to go and everywhere you go may you command respect i pray that his favor will follow you and his grace will cover you his spiritual twins goodness and mercy will pursue you and that which you pray and ask for he will give that to you because it's your season to arise may he protect you from the evil one may he protect you from the arrows of the enemy may he bless you at night and during the day may he bless you in the fairway in the in the hallways in the in the in the in the in all the the highways may he increase his watch over you may he be your god and your guide in the freeway highways byways and streets may he protect you and may he give you victory i pray that every prayer you lift unto him may you may he answer and i pray that above everything according to this one may you arise and shine and even as you rise and shine may the world come to watch you are blessed you can never be cast you are the head and never the tale you are blessed of the lord god
