people want us to pray for today [Music] there is sister jackie that is not feeling well she is recovering at home we want to pray for her there is also sister jane and i want us to pray for her sister j mum is not feeling well want us to pray for her also our auntie auntie jane she's not feeling well she's in the hospital she's been there for a couple of days and we are believing god for their healing and i want us to feel and lift up a prayer in this room for sister jackie sister jane and also sister jane i want us to lift up our voices call auntie jane if you want but i want us to lift up a voice and speak a healing upon their lives in the name of jesus for jackie we are speaking we are speaking recovery for jane and for gen courier and also james and to jane we are speaking healing today i feel in my spirit that the body of christ should arise in prayer open up your mouth and now lift up those people before the lord they've they've been battling different kind of illnesses but today we want to declare their healing come on jcc open up your voice and speak you'll hear the healing upon those sisters in the mighty name of jesus father we thank you my father for sister jackie we speak of total that we speak of our healing in the mighty name of jesus christ father god we declare recovery oh my father we declare quick recovery my father my god we speak strength in our body jehovah we speak recovery king of all the glory oh jehovah father we pray for your healing power to touch her oh my father will lift up sister jain won't be before you we speak of your healing hand upon our jehovah we come against every attack of the enemy we come against every disease of the enemy we come against every report of the enemy we want to declare the church family that this is well oh my father we speak boy we speak strength into our body we speak wellness into her body he was jehovah our healer and we speak healing upon our body in the name of jesus we thank you lord for auntie jane we speak healing upon her my father we declare there is nothing that is impossible with you we send you a healing hand my father to that hospital we want to declare peace in the mighty name of jesus we want to declare you a healing and upon our jehovah we want to declare your healing and upon our jehovah what is impossible with man is possible with god and that is what we want to speak right now we speak to our body to recover in the mighty name of jesus christ of every attack of the enemy we rebuke it in jesus name we declare my father the bible says by the stripes you are beaten at calvary we are healed we speak healing to those three sisters we speak the healing in the name of jesus we speak a testimony will come from them all god thank you because you are speaking in this season i've been in a moment of seeking god and hearing from god and hearing the direction that god wants us to take and i've heard from god and i know that will be blessed so next have fun and enjoy dubai it would be sad for you to say you've been in dubai for two weeks and you haven't taken a photo at with khalifa you know and so they went out they had fun and we celebrate you we thank god for the gift of god upon you thank you for representing us well in kenya everywhere you went we got reports of how uh what a blessing you why and we are blessed to have you in our video that we are here we are alive we have done the best we can to remain afloat and even with all the challenges and painful moments of the year god has been a good to us and we at happy life children's home continue to experience the new normal as they call it 2020 has been the year that has been we have held onto the words in isaiah 43 which promised that god is with us through the waters and in the fire and that has kept us going with hope and courage even when the flames got hot and so it's not a bit been an easy year but we have made it because of the grace of god the happy life children at georgia they have amazed us with all their talents and you as you will see you know they are making a lot of nice things they are making napkin holders they are making and doing a lot of other things learning new sports and new games and helping around the house and and in the center doing farming and so we have seen god just help these students to cope the grace has been sufficient the mission which started only as a rescue center has over the years branched into three pillars namely rescue education and health happy life children's home centers in reysombo and yuja farm are collectively home to 150 children the education pillar of the mission offers quality christian waste education through the happy life christian school and the recently established faith premier high school through the health pillar jessica children's hospital at rey seeks to provide high quality and affordable medical care to children and adults the hospital has also been able to offer maternity services to mothers as well as surgical services to kenyans at an affordable rate we want to thank god that he has remained faithful he has provided for us and this year we want to say we have really missed all our volunteers because you couldn't come because of covered 19 actually both locally and internationally and that has not been easy but our mothers and all our staff have really just put on the high gear to make sure that the children are cared for and so it's not been an easy year but we have made it because of the grace of god with the closure of schools the older children in our junior farm campus had to utilize the extra time on their hands differently we are grateful to god for their creative minds and talents as they actively participate in various sporting activities music and dance [Music] we have started developing our recently acquired high school land in georgia we have also embarked on the construction of a satellite clinic at the juju farm campus that will offer quick access to medical services to the children as well as the local community our goal is to establish more satellite clinics and needy areas the happy life mission has indeed brought happiness to many children since inception in 2002 through the dedication of over 100 staff through its leadership both in kenya and the us as well as the generosity of many faithful partners this combined effort has made a difference in each of the 700 plus children who have passed through our hands we strongly believe that even though we cannot change the whole world we can change the whole world for one child at a time and you can join us to do this noble work through your prayers monthly child sponsorship monthly partnership donations or a one-time gift for i know the plans i have for you declares the lord plans to prosper you and not to harm you plans to give you hope and a future jeremiah 29 11 the happy life mission hope and transformation amen put those hands together for such an awesome work going on in nairobi come on i think we can do better than that amen glory to jesus i believe that ministry is about people and when he say ministries about people his ministry is about touching people amen and i pray that uh that uh that that's our vision even as a house of getting to a point whereby we can directly impact people and we thank god for such an awesome work that bishop is doing in nairobi uh kenya are you ready for the word of god he's going to introduce the rest of the uh his uh his wife and uh and uh and his family and his friends and so i want us to you know until my hand that you know you know so if you see me limping a little bit he's he's responsible but but he blessed me amen maybe god is answering his prayer this morning amen and god to god be the glory thank you pastor thank you wonderful church we've really enjoyed the time we've been here we may have been here before it's our time and i have come with my elder sister sarah who is a member of this church if you can stand and wave you know her amen beautiful young lady and my sister whose sister to my wife alice already lives here also amen praise the lord and and also my lovely wife please please come and just say hello before i bring the word of god amen praise god we are from the overcoming faith church in nairobi which is the ministry that we founded and god is blessing this ministry yeah you know amen so a ministry we founded and through the same ministry also like you have seen i don't want to say much because you have seen it we run a ministry of helping abundant children for the last it will be 20 years next year so for the last 19 years we have been helping these children rescuing them with them that are burdened left on the streets we have had children from petra trains forests anywhere dumb sites and today they are wonderful children almost 800 that we have rescued and many of them almost half of them adopted amen that's for the glory of god amen so she can say hello and i do many things and one of the things i do is to preach the gospel amen so you're in for a blessing and the the other thing i do is to love my wife amen that's why she looks so young amen some of you i told you how how young she is do not believe it but she looks so young because i take care of her amen and our four children praise the lord now six because we also take care of another two that were left by my late sister mary so we have six children in our family don't are we not blessed praise the name of the lord and 170 at the happy life children's home and if you feel at home we we felt like we've just gone back to kenya for just a moment and that was really really wonderful it's so good to see the children of god this many thousands of miles away from home worshiping god loving god and coming to worship you know that is it is so so special it feels so good for us as we come from kenya and so we want to encourage you keep serving the lord keep loving the lord keep just waiting on the lord and thank you pastor steve and um pastor chico for receiving us even though you didn't know us uh through the recommendation of reverend steve kamau who has been here he's our brother and we love him and he talks very highly of this church he talked very hard and said you must go and preach there so here we are today and so we are excited he forgot to say that we also have a granddaughter amen the lord is good praise the lord the lord is good he's been good to us and so because we of time i just want to just leave a word as the servant of the lord comes to speak to you you can give me psalm 81 verse 10 because that's the the verse that the lord gave me the other night i was asking the lord what do you want what are you saying to the jcc church what are you saying to the brethren in this church that we are going to and that's just the word it came very quickly like that and i had to wake up in the morning and actually go to the bible and check that word and so i believe it is a word for somebody here but i also know that the lord is gonna speak to us this morning or this day through his servant he's a servant of god i have worked with him for many years i think over 30 years and i will tell you something he loves the lord and he has worked with god for those many years that have known him without turning to the left or to the right and he hears god and i saw i know there is a word for you if you want to receive it amen and this is what the lord gave me i am the lord thy god give me in new king james version so that i don't say thy and thou it's okay but not for now amen i don't know whether he said my name i'm faith dongle and i love the lord jesus christ as my lord and savior and i have worked with him for many years he saved me when i was in high school and i will tell somebody here that god is faithful i have known him to be faithful jesus is a good friend and if you love him back like he loves you if you love him back you will never regret and so if there's somebody who still has something that you're still remaining in your heart not to give him the whole of your heart just give him the whole of your heart he will never disappoint you he will never change you he's not a slave master he is a good master and a good lord amen i am the lord you god who brought you out of the land of egypt open your mouth wide and now feel it open your mouth wide and now feel it that's a word for somebody here if you read the rest of the the verses there you'll be surprised he says but you would not hear anything of it that was god speaking to israel do you know if this is a sum of airsoft and it was a time of the feast of tabernacles and he's telling them how god brought them out of egypt and how he gave them freedom from slavery but he says here open your mouth wide and i'll feel it and you know what the lord was speaking to my heart opening your mouth white i don't know whether you've ever seen a bird a mother bird feeding the baby birds they opened their mouth so wide and the mother puts the food into their mouths and you know what god has many things for us he has blessings for us he has opportunities for us he has opened doors for us but you must be ready to receive them and so opening your mouth wide is actually increasing your capacity so that god can give you what he wants to give you church jcc church there are many opportunities there are things you can do you haven't done enough ministry yet there is much more increase your capacity that god may feel you even more there is somebody here you you were stuck with just coming to church and said you are happy to just come to church on sunday and that's enough for you but the lord is saying there is more i have more blessings i have ministry for you to do i have great things that you can do for me but you need to i just receive it praise the name of the lord open your mouth wide and receive from the lord there are some of you who are living in a place that you shouldn't be living because you are satisfied there may the lord they sing there is more praise the lord there are some of you in jobs that you believe because you came here and kenyans told you this is like the jobs that kenyans do here but there is more it is what it is what you desire from the lord and that's what we were singing this morning how desperate are you for god and pastor asked that question how desperate are you and we're saying lord i need you and even me this morning as i was here i was telling the lord i need more when i see fewer there is more from the lord don't settle for less amen god bless you may you receive the word of the lord praise the lord if you're clapping for my wife please you can do better so if you find a place where people are clapping for you let them do it in a good way praise the lord can somebody say i want more i desire more and i'm going for more to the glory of god amen father i pray that you speak to us in the next few moments that your spirit your power your anointing speak to somebody only you can change the life of people only you can bring change and transformation may you bring it now in jesus name and somebody say amen well i want to bring a message on faith that overcomes the world our ministry is called the overcoming faith but that's not the reason why i'm bringing this message but but again you also have god and my wife is faith and i want to talk about faith amen so you never forget this message praise the lord the other thing i do is to to sing when i'm not preaching i write songs and by the grace of god we've done a few songs if a time allows i'll be able to do one maybe at the end amen what i'm going to pendant music amen david compare the king god is good hallelujah and and and we thank god receive greetings from our ministry our church our family back home and our friends so many that are praying for us amen now we are here to overcome we are here to conga we are not here to be defeated we are not here to be desperate we are not here to be the tale but to be the head and the bible says as we all know that we are living in the last days in 1st peter 4 and verse 7 first peter 4 and verse 7 the end of all things is near therefore be a lot and of sober mind that you may pray the end of all things as near and therefore want to remind you we are asleep it is time to arise it is time to wake up because we are living in the end times as we see the world have been shaken actually the song i may be able to sing it is a song that god gave me last year that i recorded and is about the season we are going in and and everything is being shaken until that which cannot be shaken will stand and the only thing that cannot be shaken is the word of god can i hear an amen so be a lot second team of the fourth and verse five is for you always be super minded and you are suffering do the work of an of an adventurous fulfill your ministry all of us we have a ministry can somebody say with me i have a ministry i like preaching to people that i can talk we can talk a man sometimes preaching can be complicated let's not preach let's just talk amen so so somebody said i have a ministry so all of us you know sometimes we think he's the pastor who has a ministry but all of us we have a ministry you may not be a preacher like him but there is something you can do you may not be a singer like david david or me but but there is something you can do in the body and in the kingdom of our god and somebody who is asleep the bible says in luke 21 and verse 36 but stay awake at all times well i feel like the lord is reminding somebody we are in the in the days we need to be a lot you know like when you're driving especially when you move here from kenya the first time the first few days when you're driving you look ahead you know you don't want any anything to distract you you remember so you're not booked you you remember especially because you're driving on the right and you're used to driving on the on the left some were not even driving in kenya but now you're here driving on the on the right and you and so many things that have changed so the way we say but stay awake at all times praying that you may have strength to escape all things that are that are going to take place and stand before the son of man all things that are taking place and i want to say there is so much that is happening and let me say to you we haven't seen it yet there is so much more coming this world will be shaken because it's not permanent this world is not permanent these buildings are not permanent hallelujah the systems of this world are not permanent that's why when covered came everything was shaken because everything must be shaken until that which cannot be shaken will stand and that which cannot be shaken is the word of god which is eternal and matthew 24 42 therefore stay awake for you do not know on what day your lord is coming stay awake please help me tell your neighbor stay awake and you're not just talking about staying awake in church i know some of when you come to church you take a nap but we are not talking about staying awake in the church we are saying you stay awake spiritually you are awake when you're in the house you are awake when you're driving you're praying you're worshiping god your spirit is awake even when you sleep when you wake up you know you can tell if your spirit is awake even when you go to sleep if you're one of those men or women when you go to sleep you're dreaming with the with the dogs chasing you and the lions another side chasing you so you're wondering do i run away from the lion or do i run away from the dog that's not somebody who is awake you need somebody that is awake that even when you go to sleep you are you are speaking in tongues in your dreams you are seeing the glory of god hallelujah first i must confess when i came in here you know and i saw the smoke here i wondered these guys do they know the church is burning because i thought the church was burning and nobody is aware because the worshipers are closing their eyes but but you know what we need to be awake can somebody say lord help me to be awake be a lot all times praise the name of the lord and i want to say in mark 13 and verse 35 therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back you do not know how many know when he's coming back here nobody knows but we can see the times and the seasons and he says whether in the evening or at midnight or when the rooster crawls or at dawn if he comes certainly if he comes i can't hear you if he comes certainly do not let him find you sleeping what i said to you i said to everyone watch watch come on let's talk to somebody and tell them watch watch watch we need to remain a lot now i said i'm talking about faith that overcomes the world if we're going to conquer if we're going to overcome if we're going to be a lot for the coming of our savior jesus christ then we must walk by faith live by faith and trust god to take us through this season that we are in right now the bible says my righteous shall live by faith the bible also says for we walk by faith and not by come on we do not walk by sight amen we walk by faith and this is let me teach you in a few moments how we conquer and how we overcome by faith if you look at the book of first john 5 and verse 4 first john 5 and verse 4 for everyone born of god overcomes the world oh somebody can say men to that everyone born of god overcomes the world this is a victory that has overcome the world even our faith who is that that overcomes the world only the one who believes who is it that is going to overcome this world that is full of evil and murder and crazy things and accidents and incidences and sicknesses and and covet 19 who is it that is going to overcome this world that has poverty and luck and evil hallelujah we opened our high school we we went we moved to our new property two months ago and a lot of children came they had done very well we have 66 of them that came and they had no school fees and they needed help some of them just came standing with the clothes they are wearing they needed help because this world has poverty this world has needs this world has evil this world has sicknesses and now let me tell you you don't have to look for trouble trouble is looking for you did you know that trouble is looking for you jesus said in john 16 33 in this world somebody say in this world what did he say in this world you will have trouble but it did not end there thank god he said but be of good cheer i have i have i have overcome the world and if jesus is in you and you are a child of god you are more than a conqueror you have overcome the world put your hands together celebrate jesus because he has given us victory only the one who believes that jesus is the son of god is the one who overcomes the world so you overcome the world number one because you are born of god you are a child of god you have the now if if somebody has a child and they are denying and and people want to establish whose child is this what do they do they go and do a test that is called d and when you are you mummy you are a pastor amanda they even going ahead of the preacher anomalies before i finish dna to establish whose child is this and i want to say when you are a child of god you have the dna of god you have the blood of jesus in you and covering your life so number one you overcome because you are a child of god god have you ever seen fish struggling to swim how many know how to swim here let me see hallelujah glory to god some of you you are 35 you are 40 50 60 70 and you're saying when you go to heaven i will swim like an ego oh forget about heaven you need to learn how to swim here and eagles don't swim amen now glory to god now you have never seen fish struggling i i learned how to swim not many years ago but you know what now i can swim my wife is still learning glory to god but but you know what when you even if you're an expert in swimming you can't swim like the fish because the fish was made to swim the birds were made to fly and they don't struggle have you ever seen a bird coming and that was so tough no the bird enjoy is up there you if you jump even for a minute or a second or two seconds it is a struggle even running the other day i saw a man walking and i don't know he was running or walking you know there are people when they're exercising you don't know whether they're running or walking because but you know what because we were made for something different hallelujah when we flew in here we came with a plane from qatar and let me tell you we landed in texas and it took us more than 15 hours and you wonder is this thing still there or are we on our own because you wake up you eat you sleep you dream you watch movies you do whatever and the best movie i watch there is only mr bean but that's my favorite but you know what now the reason why that thing will remain in the air for 15 hours it is because it was made for that purpose i came here pastor to say to somebody you are made for victory you are made to overcome you are made to conquer so next time you are facing an obstacle stop asking yourself why me and the other side they are asking why not you hello the next time you feel like quitting or resigning it is time to know i am made for this whenever there is an opposition you need to know i am stronger than this hallelujah and the grace of god is sufficient for you it doesn't matter whether you are married whether you are single whether you are befriended whether you are what are the categories whether you are divorced whether you all those titles it doesn't matter where you are in life god knows where you were whether you are a single mother single father single parent single whatever whatever whatever all those titles even some we time you look at people stop seeking sympathy people will not help you through sympathy the only thing you can decide today i am going to conquer i am going to walk by faith i am going to leave my life to the fullest for the bible says jesus said in john 10 10 i came that you may have life and have it more abundantly may you live your life abundantly glory to god glory to god hallelujah can you it means everything hello it means in all these things you are more than a conqueror even if you are going through a sickness it is only for a time even if you're going through pain it is only for a time you went through divorce it is only for a time now let me say you may have gone through some failure in life but you are not a failure we all have gone through failures we have failed here we have failed there we have lost there even if you have lost money some of you got depressed because you lost money you invested some money somewhere it did not work out and so this depresses your life every time you see money something reminds reminds you oh i lost ten dollar ten thousand dollars i lost fifty thousand dollars you know there's something that pricks you and always reminding you the money you lost apostle paul says one thing i do forgetting those things are behind me i press on towards the mark when i remember exit i press on toward my exit hallelujah i want to say to somebody today you are exiting from that problem today you are exiting from that oppression today you are exiting from that depression in the mighty name of jesus i want you to end the life glory to god i haven't started preaching that was the introduction now number three we overcome because greater is he that is in you than the one who is in the world greater is he that is in you jesus the son of god he lives in you and he is greater and then we also know that the bible says in the world there is trouble first john 2 and verse 15 the bible says do not love the world or the things in the world if anyone loves the world the love of the father is not in him for all that is in the world look at the things in the world lust of the flesh lust of the eyes pride of life is not of the father but it is of the world and the world is passing what is happening to the world it is passing away and the last of it but he who does the will of god abinds forever glory to god let me say to you church brethren brothers and sisters we are here to overcome and i want to close with the story of mark 4 and verse 35 the bible says talks about jesus calming the storm and and he told the disciples one day on the evening that uh let us cross over to the other side what did he say we are crossing over somebody say we are crossing over now he didn't tell them let's try let's let's try whether we'll make it halfway or three quarter way no no he said we are crossing over and i came to say to somebody we are crossing over now even when you don't feel like anything is happening keep going push yourself wake up in the morning keep going you know when i first came to nairobi i didn't know kudamarango inaudible so i came to a to a door and i looked i thought this is closed until i saw another young woman go through and the door opened and said i realized the nearer you are to the door the better for you so even when you see like all the doors are closed keep going the door will open for you am i talking waves beat into the boat so that it was already feeding but he was in the stand asleep on a pedal what was he doing sleeping and when they woke him up and said teacher do you not care that we are perishing then he arose and rebuked the wind and said to the sea peace be still and the weirdest ceased and there was a great calm but he said to them why are you so fearful how is it that you have no faith and they feared exceedingly and said one they said to one another who can this be that even the wind and the sea obey him now after jesus count the wind and the storm he turned to the disciples and he said how come he's so fearful now he rebuked the weed but he also rebuked the disciples because they were lack of faith they did not believe in other words he's saying saying to them what i have done you should have done that 25 minutes ago but they thought they were dying have you ever lived with the people who are always thinking tuna kufa we are dying we are finished we are done karas live and declare the glory of god not first of all that the storm came as the disciples were following jesus i want to say to you my friends storms will not come because you're not following jesus actually the more you follow jesus the more the storms will come against you now if you're not following jesus you're going where the storms are going so it's very easy the wind is but if you're going against the wind you feel the force hallelujah but if you see somebody one day brother one of our pastors came to me and he said bishop i don't want to commit myself to serve god this deep i don't know how to go because every time i decide to go deep serving god and praying another seeking god i find a lot of opposition and i said yeah because you are now again going against the current but if you want it easy you go with the current you go with a current hallelujah everything will be so easy for you hallelujah you don't need to pray a lot but when you decide to go deep oh that even the kingdom of darkness they also know my people who are me but we are more than congress the disciples were in the boat with jesus but they still went through a great storm it doesn't mean because jesus is your savior he's your lord your fool of the holy spirit power pack going to heaven by faith act plus way and you have not i mean all those things it doesn't mean because you are all those things trouble will not come it will still come that's why even the disciples who are our fathers of faith they went through trouble they went through hell some of them were beaten they were crucified they were they were you know all they were put in prison they were hungry you know shipwrecked and all those things you know what because it doesn't mean because you're a believer you do not go through it but remember remember it's not permanent one woman came to her pastor and said and she was crying she was calling her out of lord pastor have you ever seen somebody with a lot of lord attack at the bay street you know and she said pastor you don't know what i'm going through oh my god the whole world is crumbling on me you don't know pastor you don't know what i'm going through and pastor said no no hold on hold on young lady hold on hold on can you repeat that again i'm saying first you don't know what i'm going through no hold on say it one more time first don't understand nobody understands what i'm going through what you just said is that you are only going through why worry if you're only going through this is not your destination happens you are only going through glory to god and i came to say to somebody here stop worrying and having my date or my grandkid what my my because you cannot sleep because you are worried about tomorrow you are worried about your children you are worried about your family in kenya you about your mother your mother in row your father in room you are grandmother your grandfather you are worried you are carrying the whole let me tell you right now they are asleep and they don't care about you they aren't even knowing where you are they don't even know you are in charge stop calling the whole world in your hands it's only one who said know one thing we know we pray for them the rest we leave it to god hallelujah have you not read in the bible where the bible says apostle paul says be anxious for if you in a greek what nothing means no thing it means no thing it means don't worry be anxious for he didn't say be anxious for this and this and this but for your husband and your children and your grandchild and your mother in the village you can be anxious be just a little bit anxious you know be anxious about this but these ones don't be no no he said be anxious for nothing can somebody say lord deliver me from anxiety in jesus name can i give you can i give you a have a few minutes can i give you four truths about storms i'll just go through them very quickly number one storms are inevitable they will come whether you pray or you don't pray but it's better when you pray because you're stronger when they come you're spiritually stable and strong but they are inevitable for all of us it doesn't matter whether you are poor or rich or green or blue or yellow it does not matter it doesn't matter how you are dressed today storms will come some of you after you leave church i know some of you don't want to leave church because after immediately you leave church storms hallelujah you still go back to those things you remember when jesus and disciples say you know they said let's build some tents here tabernacles here because it was so nice some of you are feeling like now we are in a literal heaven but you know what after you leave here you remember the storm the storm is coming against you but you go there you're getting equipped here so that when you go you know like the the the you know there night on the aircraft when it's in a taxing and then it is it is it is on the runway it gets a momentum hallelujah and it's moving so fast they make sure there is nothing on the way on the runway so that that plane it can have you ever seen a plane is going to take off and it's going at two to two kilometers per hour and it's good it's going nowhere so i want you to leave this church today with a momentum glory to god that anything that comes or passes your way you have no time to stop you have to sweep it as you go to your destiny you don't have to sweep it as you go to where you're going in the name of jesus can you get some spiritual momentum glory to god number two storms are unpredictable hallelujah the bible says in matthew 8 23 now when he got into a boat his disciples followed him and suddenly somebody said suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea so that the boat was covered with the waves so it became suddenly i know some of you when you see a call and you wonder do i take it or not hello nikkei i mean what's happening because some storms is just a phone call and the world has gone here haywire somebody's in the hospital somebody has died just a phone call somebody maybe a text you received this morning on your whatsapp and and something or somebody died or something accident or some it happened suddenly number three storms are temporary that's a good thing first peter 1 6. therefore okay there is wonderful joy ahead even though it is necessary for you to endure many trials for a while for a while for a while but after the trials what will happen there is wonderful joy ahead some of you need to carry uh night on in a sign today joy ahead hallelujah i may be going through this right now but there is joy like when yesterday we were looking for a restaurant to go and have lunch and we kept going and we you know the the the gps is telling you move this way turn this way go this way and and and but but you see we knew it was somewhere ahead so even if you're hungry you know i will get it somewhere hallelujah we went to the first one they said people are not sitting here unless you eat standing and we decide and we decided to go to another one don't get disappointed because there is one thing that did not work if one door is closed go and knock another one and we drove for another 10 minutes and we found another and they said welcome the whole house is yours glory to god am i talking to somebody some of you gave up because you got disappointed at one time don't give up hallelujah number four the last one storms are purposeful in other words they are for a purpose first peter one and verse seven trials are for testing your faith to prove it is strong and pure it has been tested as fire tests and purifies gold and your faith is far more precious to god than god so if your faith remains strong after being tried by fiery trials it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when jesus christ is revealed to the world are you listening what i'm saying yes when you go through storm i remember 1998 both me and faith we went through a big storm i lost my wife not her i was married before and you know what she died in aerodaction you were coming from church you were preaching the gospel 1998 where were you i don't know but you know what she's gone eight months pregnant the baby is gone a big storm but here i am today because god has healed me and i want to say to somebody if you have been wounded the lord will heal you today because our god is jehovah rapha he does not only heal our bodies he heals our minds he heals our souls he heals all our words and the bible says he gives beautiful ashes the same year you know you remember the american bombing embassy in nairobi her husband worked there and he also died tony died in that in that in that uh attack but today we are here god has blessed us she was left to the two young babies three year and one year where do you take a three year and one year you have been left alone only god can help you i remember when we had an accident we were driving home we lived in kikuyu we had preaching together right that's where our church was then and we went to the door we had a fundraising for our church there we were buying a tent and then we have a happy day fulfilling ministry but i remember later my wife had told me one or two days before even that morning i had a dream i saw a very beautiful mansion we had built could be i didn't know the lord was showing her where she was going but you know what the lord restored when we got this accident she died somebody hit our car and she died we were taken to hospital in adobe hospital and they asked me a very hard question who would save here your wife or your child i didn't know what to say but both of them did not make it now to cut the short storyline here i am i'm not morning i'm not crying the lord has been good the lord healed me the lord healed her restored us and all god restores may god restore you hallelujah god give us a ministry we are preaching the gospel planting churches god give us a ministry when we start we ma god marriage immediately god gave us the dream and the vision of happy life children's home and we have been rescuing babies and children god was breaking us to mold us so that he can make us to what we are today i want to close by saying position yourself for a blessing you are not here by accident you are not in america by look at how many millions are in kenya who would have been here but you are the one who is here position yourself instead of complaining or america oh hatunahi we don't have this we don't and people also in kenya are complaining people in sudan are complaining people in europe are complaining everywhere people are comp instead of spending and wasting your time complaining ask god i am here now i am in america and this is my home i can't even get because i'm done this is my home now stop thinking oh my home kenya my sweet lovely some of you every night you dream if i was able to see your dreams you dream with the kenya oh mukian oh my avenue my words oh god every word in my life from my past from my family from my businesses from my finances relationships heal those words now and now i declare in the name of jesus that today i am a new person i am free in jesus name amen i speak freedom now in the name of jesus if you have been wounded be healed in the name of jesus the power of god shall be upon you as you serve the lord and as you
