is not just cheap to get going but to really get going alyam is an extremely strong carry who can dish out insane numbers even on a three star weapon like harbinger of dawn it is literally on par with Miss split's performance listen I get it HD does require you to above 90% HP in order for its passive to activate the main point I want to make here is how you can put in so little and get so much out which is incredible for a DPS unit to have not to mention that you don't have to put a lot of artifact investment into him to hit the ground running with flicker man flickering all over the place this is a double-edged sword though which I'll move on to later so if you're just starting the game and don't have a lot of artifacts to work with this guy works perfectly well on lower-end artifacts that haven't got 1 million zillion crit value to boot also you can play him with extremely cheap teammates if you're a newer player and upgrade them over time to play a team that suits your needs for example alham Shang Cho kukie and dendro main character or if you're feeling fancy then Kirara or ficial I know older players of expensive teams are going to scoff at that but it's important to acknowledge how newer freeo plays can yield surprisingly high performance out of something like this but you can absolutely Skyrocket his damage with his other teammates Nikita in that Flex slot is already an amazing alyam increase especially since then alyam doesn't have to hold deep wood plus Nita is an extremely free-to-play friendly unit who goes on the easy build of triple em in alisen quick Bloom teams not to mention how they share an artifact domain so they're a super resin efficient pair I say this but chances are notl will introduce strong boxes for these sets as well things keep getting better also weapons on your teammates can be cheap craftable on cookie ponus on Shing Cho and Nita can use pretty much whatever and eventually you can invest in upgrades like Yan over Shing Cho then alyam gets a ramping damage bonus and you'll get ramped up excitement from how much this already great team improves then not to mention the new finina variant involving cookie plus be honest with me guys you're a whole bunch of Ryden simps so I'm not surprised that most of you would have her well you're in luck since a triple em Ryden is a cheap and intuitive build build with huge up time that allows your higham to blast the competition it's incredible how really the only thing you need to play higham and get damage out of him is level 90 for reaction sake and some motivation so yes dear free to plays this guy is as cheap as it gets and his performance is incredible at cheaper levels especially compared to other top tier carries right now who are far more expensive in comparison boring nolet because well be Sanctified Alam has what I'd like to call a high skill ceiling but not not a very high bar to entry you can still reap all those amazing benefits I started earlier even if you're mid at the game and have chronic skill issue after all big djo numbers go boom boom but if you want to master all higham oh my goodness this takes him to a whole another level improves him because of his up times the whole point of alyam while he's on field is to maintain his d drop location at its peak with three mirrors ideally having its prime Mirror Time lasting on field as much as possible while you fight enemies it's where the majority of his damage share comes from for reference Al Ham's dender application when he is three mirrors up is equals to Nita's usual Dental application if that isn't nuts then I don't know what is not only will this net you a better clear time as you've seen but it also takes advantage of another great quality that this guy has when do the positive qualities ever end but by having good skill you're able to take great advantage of the fact that alyam is flexible rotations allowing you to easily adapt to the situation at hand being adaptive means he can do very well against many different kinds of enemies bosses AOE multi-wave you name it it's all hyams my friend as long as you have enough scill think of it like getting good at baking at first you follow fixed recipes but over time as you become more confident and learn how certain ingredients interact with one another you can steal your things your own way and make your own unique recipes it's similar with alyam once you've learned the ropes of playing him you can execute his mirror rotations in the way that suits both you and the scenario at hand the best you will be able to execute all enemies ahead of you with enough time and practice You could argue this as a potential con as him being hard to play might limit his potential for some but the way I see it is that even when you play him like a fool you still get absurdly high DPS out of him I literally cannot make a video about aam's Pros without mentioning the fact that he's a top tier DPS if you decide to pull for him you're adding an extremely valuable carry to your account even as a mega endgame player because he is still the best dender DPS in the game and also just one of the best DPSS in the game on the whole he can easily be considered at least top five if not close why is this a big deal we've gotten tons of strong characters this patch simple he's had a very good run in terms of shelf life so far this guy released back in 3.4 and is still one of the finest Premier DPS units that you can pull for he has lasted over a year now and I believe that if you pull him on his rerun he won't get power crept for at least another year and if he does then he will still be a good unit because that new unit would have to be obscenely broken in order to Eclipse Al heis them enough to make polling for an upgrade worth it at all the fact that he can also play in pretty much every dendro team is Testament to how versatile and valuable this guy is sure the likes of Y gravate without hym and Neu Bounty for Kors Bloom without hym aren't going to be as strong as the legendary quick Bloom team but hey just because it isn't diamonds doesn't mean that gold isn't good either because even in these teams a height them rocks that frees up units for your upper half if needs be for example you aggravate hym taking up no Hydro units freeing up yon and finina for your other half so you can be valuable in that way too also his DPR damage per rotation is just extremely high reactions carry this man's average DPS into the High Heavens it's insane so yes just know oh them is good like really very good for DPS just a missed opportunity that they make cave a unit that Nerfs Bloom instead of having some kind of synergy with hyam well uh that's honestly kind of in character for him unlucky guy now for his cons I'm going to be completely honest with you there aren't many but there's still enough to the point where it's worth covering them for instance High investment let's say want to take your them to the next level and crank up his DPS to the max of constellations well it's actually more valuable to get Nita C2 over his own C2 if you want to max out all hm's damage potential yep his own conss are pretty garbage he's a go bigger go home c0 or C6 character or even finen C2 would be more valuable if you're looking to boost up his DPS and she doesn't even buff dendro core damage his signature weapon is pretty good yeah I think it's worth getting if you main him if anybody was wondering but it's not Irreplaceable with a plethora of other five star options with the more flexible primordial Jade cutter coming in extremely close when it comes to Performance nearly outperforming in AOE scenarios this is because the signature has a maximum amount of triggers unlike Jade cutter which is unconditional and it's passive and if you get Yan C2 well the thing is most of all hm huge DPS comes from reactions yon getting more damage yourself isn't really a direct upgrade to all hym As much as it is just a buff to herself I mean it still increases his team damage I guess but no buffing there and Ryden CLA are next to useless for him if you're getting bicons for any reason other than nolet huh also artifacts I did say we would come back to this double edge sword later oh hey look the sword evolved so it's great that you can hit the ground running at lower investment levels and that at middle investment levels he does great but the more you invest in his sub stats the more useless they start to become this is because alam's contributions in his own team aren't actually that high compared to Vex of Lin or arino for example you get less of a gain compared to farming for high crit artifacts and Hyper carries who deal the majority of their team's damage aside from Al Ham's own DPS and reaction damage his DPR comes from hyper blooms and yon and Hyper blooms have a low ceiling of investment this is where the other top tier carries arino Lenny and lalet for instance have an edge over him before I get into this next point DV means crit value which is the value of crit on your artifacts crit rate is worth itself times two in value and crit damage is just worth itself so a piece of 10 crit rate and 10 crit damage would have 30 CV if you have a 240 CV Al heym on a 240 CV ARA for instance father would make much better use out of that CV compared to Alam who would have been fine like 40 CV ago this really only matters for players who are Mega deep into the end game does this mean I don't recommend the Hy the player ERS you have got a ton of characters and high-end weapons and artifacts hey hey don't get the wrong idea I'll them will still be a great addition to those accounts he will still feel top tier I just advise against heavily Min maxing him as all that extra time and resin could be poured into a carry who values those substats more my God that was a bunch of nerd stuff anyways consider this a very very small nitpick because most enemies in Abyss are large and easy to hit or are bosses which have fairly clear hit boxes sometimes a height them can struggle in content where enemies can easily separate due to his mirrors having a pretty small range but I'm going to keep it 100% this should not be a deal breaker for you hoyo cooked a feast when they made this guy both combat wise and aesthetically he is literally the guy that your girlfriend told you not to worry about he is literally him the man even with this being his third time on banners if you haven't got him and wanted a taste of what it feels like to play a highend tier DPS this guy is an amazing choice and I cannot recommend him enough he will fulfill all your dendro and hbond needs not only that but even though other top carries overpower him he still fulfills his own Niche very well being within dendro teams so even if you do have a well-built ara Linny new Etc Alam is still worth the pull hopefully this video was able to tell you about alam's biggest pros and
