Irresponsible Farm Boy Gets STUCK | First Time Farming A Farm

hey congratulations you win a free high-five for clicking on this video my name is Cole the corn star I'm a 21 year old farmer I like to get a lot of stuff done so you're in store for one heck of a good video silly old me when I was recording this video I completely forgot to preface what was going on so I'm gonna give you so little bit of a rundown so that you're in good understanding of what's going on so we have a 45 acre chunk of ground that has been grass for the past 25 years and this year we're gonna bring it back into crop production ground so we need to bring the disc over so that way we can work up the ground to break up the sod bed that way seed can go through it we were originally going to plant corn there but it got after June 1st so after doing first our crop insurance it doesn't protect us or not nearly as much I'm not gonna go into the details on that kind of complicated so what we're gonna do is run the disc over it twice to break that all up and then we'll run the real disc over which is our vertical tillage system and that's gonna make a nice smooth seed bed and then we can run the planter through it plant it it'll be good to go that gives you guys a little bit of light shed on what's going on here so now you know and if you get enjoyment out of this video or any of my videos or you just like my mustache could you please give the video a nice thumbs up if you have any comments or just want to make fun of me or something just write it down in the comments below and be sure to subscribe that way you'll stay notified when I post new stuff you'll be able to stay with me on my farm journey as we turn this place around into a really clean well organized fishing highly productive awesome farm I'm gonna hop in the disc bring that over there and I'm gonna start disking up that CRP ground that hasn't been touched in 25 years we might find some surprises in there pick the oil and stuff quick first 25 years ago we farmed this field and then they turned it into CRP and now it's out of CRP and it won't let them put it back into CRP so we're gonna permit it's really not that bad of a farm so I don't know why I got putting a CRP in the first place nothing terrible [Music] so we're gonna switch the disk on this tractor and take the real disk off the other tractor this tractor is overheating we want to get this disc top and then we're going to come in tomorrow and we're gonna reel this get smooth and then I'm going to hit it with burn down from the sprayer and then we'll be ready to plant into it did you go knocking down some timeouts before I go home we got rain we got about half an inch of rain last night so it's pretty sticky on top it works out okay though because we have a grave that we had to dig this morning anyway so hopefully by the time I get this grave done it'll be ready to go in the field oh you see oh this is cam five foot ten on a good day so we probably got a couple more inches to go down I like to shoot four six foot we've got all the porn star going on Tim to back up the skid loader on the ramps this is when you can be mean to them and just keep pointing to go back go back go back and see how far he'll keep going he'll call off the trailer or he's gonna learn to stop they did pretty good job it's actually a pretty nice day out we picked up a half inch of rain last night which the weatherman was talking no rain but we ended up getting rain so my windshield on the backhoe even got dirty going down the road this morning see if we get there's a beast in here yeah here we go boys we run up the ramp doing 90 mph / yeah folks keep both hands on the steering wheel what am i doing I'm video as I'm driving go to cremation to dig today - so we're changing the oil in this quick that's definitely got some water in it I got to get some oil for that thing okay guys honestly it takes longer to do this than to wind the thing up I have a feeling that was Cooper we're gonna pick up my new spark plugs baby's a little dirty someone must not have tightened up all the lugs when they put it in a couple five and then it cause these other ones to ream out it's never a good thing when your boat looks like this I'm trying to load this up into the cab if it fits it ships here's the Cooper's stop it's one way to ride I got two passengers [Music] we're gonna unhook the real disk and then pull the tractor out and then we'll pull the real disk out after once we get some better traction it's pretty soupy right here Cooper was standing right on an anthill that he disrupted earlier with the disc so they weren't too happy [Music] [Music] that was fun yeah we got to pull the real disco wheels on the real discs or pretty much buried so we're gonna try hooking up to the center and pulling it backwards we're gonna go nice and easy to make sure these rolling baskets don't fold under because we don't want to pull it back through that like a worm [Music] we're on this other side now we're gonna play it nice and easy to make sure we don't accidentally go to a wet at all that we can't see little hailey over here but definitely farmable say this is a good thing so how the hitch-pin came out I I really don't know how it happened hey stealing and everything so I don't know how that happened got Cooper to the rescue got just a little bit left in this field let's get er done guess what you're never gonna believe what happened just guess I'll give you three seconds yeah I ran on a diesel fuel that's all we have this one filled I guess not but thank you birds gonna come see me again [Music] me walking again yeah unfortunately yeah we're going way up there we got unhook the seat ender so that way we can drive the dually over there and fill it with some diesel fuel I'm just farming she's unhooked the best part is I literally have a down in back left I guess it's better than running down a diesel when you just hit a wet spot or it's better than running out of diesel when you're in the middle of the road so we'll take it hopefully I don't have to bleed it I think I got it shut off just before it died from actually running out of fuel I got it when it was sputtering cuz I knew what was going on let's hope she didn't suck hair and left bleeped it so to believe that expensive fuel filters off and then you gotta fill the diesel then put them back on cuz right now there's air inside those and the tractors are sucking air after turning as hard as I possibly could could get more leverage sitting on the tire I was able to get this one loose so take this one off I'll get that one off don't film both feel a little put them back on then we should be good to go do my last round then I'm gonna hook the truck back up to the tender which is way over there I'm off let's try this again my words well guys we have bad news and we have really good news the good news is there's no more green paint on the walls in here that you guys just thought was such a beautiful color bad news his videos over like the video you know what to do you have any questions you also know what to do and if you don't want to subscribe you're wrong you should so be sure to subscribe alright see you guys next video [Music]
