Ipsy Glam Bag | Sister VS Sister | May 2021

hey everyone welcome to my channel so today i have my sister here with me and we are going to be doing our sister versus sister ipsy glam bags for the month of may 2021. if you're unfamiliar with the ipsy glam bag it is 12 a month and you get five sample size products inside as well as a makeup bag each month and you do get to pick one of the products inside you do fill out a profile when you sign up with ipsy and so that's why we like to do the sister versus sisters because we look different and we like different things so we can see how different the ipsies are i did already unbox the pr version of the ipsy's earlier this month if you want to see additional variations but today we have the sister versus sister versions if you're new to my channel welcome i do lots of different subscription box unboxing videos here sometimes my sister joins me so if you're a sub box a lover like me go ahead and subscribe and let's jump into the bags all right and this month's theme is flower power super cute kind of in spring going into summer and then on the inside of the card it goes through all the products gives the brief description i can't talk today and gives kind of what the retail price is for a full size and then this is the bag it's super cute it's like a rose pink has flowers on it cute little rose gold um pull tab yeah whatever you call it so i really like this bag this month i think it's super cute yeah and the inside lining is like a deeper pink color all right the very first thing that i am pulling out of my glam bag is from complex culture and this is their all over shadow brush which retails for 18 this is a full-size product i'm pretty sure this is the product that i picked only because i already have this brush i think i have it like twice or something and i love this brush um really great for blending very very soft this is the type of brush i love to go into my crease with so i figured compared to all the other choice options that i had this was probably one that i would get more use out of all right my first item was out of the bag and it is by item beauty it's the lip quip in the shade come through not come true because at first i said it the same come true and katrina corrected me um but it's just a little lip gloss like that i don't think it's not clear it kind of has a shade it does have a shade to it well yeah it's pink okay i have one kind of like this that looks the exact same but it's like it's pink but it's clear it's different pink yeah okay this is kind of like orangey in a way does it smell not really i don't think yeah that smells like fruit oh i didn't smell the first go-round i smelled my finger the first yum i don't know if that's what it looks like on my hand it's kind of really pretty should we try it on yes all right this is what it looks like it's cute it actually feels really smooth it doesn't feel sticky at all so i like this and it isn't the shade isn't too intense no not at all yeah i like that the next thing that i am pulling out is from seoul de janeiro and this is their coco cabana cream this is a deluxe size um the full size retails for 45 dollars i mean i've definitely gotten this before didn't they reformulate i don't i don't i think i only have the non-reformulated version it's not bad some people didn't like it because it smelled more like buttered popcorn this smells i don't know it smells it's like butter popcorn yeah it smells exactly like the buttered popcorn um jelly beans which i love yeah i mean i don't i'm not a huge fan of the scent i'm not mad about getting it it kind of smells more coconutty but i don't know don't they they have a new scent right it's purple i think well not the acai one but the other one but i really want to try that one but i just yeah i don't know i mean i'm not mad about getting this because it is a good travel size lotion but the scent is not as good as the boom boom cream alrighty my next item is by goldfadden md pure start detoxifying facial cleanser just a little tube like that um yeah let's see what this says gentle detoxifying facial cleanser wheat protein botanical cleansing agents and grapefruit peel oil i don't know um perfect for like when you travel just have a little cleanser i don't know if it has like beads in it to make it exfoliating it's detoxifying not accelerating it doesn't have a scent either i mean that's perfect for a cleanser and i don't know if you said it but the full size retails for 35 yes all right the next thing that i am pulling out of my bag is the beauty crop stuck on you eyeshadow primer this is a full size which retails for 16.50 i've definitely gotten this before um i don't know if it was in this or my p i might have gotten it in pr it is sealed so i am not going to open it because i'm going to put this in a future giveaway um but it's just it's an eyeshadow primer and i'm on to winning the lottery of full-size products because like i think i might have another one so i'm already on two full-size products i just tend to win the lottery with my ipsy's and i paid for this this is not pr it's a totally different account but hey up next we have a moisturizer okay let me never do that again i loved every second of that actually it's by hey honey boosted up honey rich moisturizer this is what it looks like let's see does it smell like uh flowers or like oh it does smell floral it's better if i like i don't love it um it's like it's kind of a cream mixed with a gel yeah a creamy gel yeah it does feel very light like kind of watery like once it's uh rubbed out i just the scent would drive me insane i wouldn't it's very rosy yeah if the scent was going to go away after some time that might be one thing but no that's yeah it's pretty rosy it's on your face yeah i'm i'm not sure this is going to be for me but we'll see so my next product is from jersey shore cosmetics no idea if that's related to the show this is the watermelon moisture rich hydrating lip balm which retails for ten dollars and is full size so i have three full-size products in my box i'm not gonna like open this right now because i have so many lip balms but i'm assuming it's gonna smell like watermelon and i'm definitely not mad about getting another lip balm but then again i probably have like 20 full-size unopened lip balms that i need to sort my life out with but i love a good lip balm so i'm excited to try it out all right and i forgot to mention the full size price for this but it is uh 52 dollars for the full size and my next item is by looks and me cosmetics infinity sleeping list lip lip lip i can't talk to the lip mask it comes in this cute little jar pot thing let's open it up it doesn't i don't smell anything all i can smell is the moisture yeah i can just smell that it's i love lip masks so did you just stick your nose in it pretty much oh i don't know if you guys can see it's super oily looking on my uh ring finger yeah i have lipstick on oh it's kind of sticky but i guess a lip mask is supposed to be thicker yeah this is something i'm gonna have to try out overnight and see how it feels and the full size retails for 16 sorry i keep forgetting it you're good and then the last product in my bag is from mamonde and this is their petal spa oil to foam cleanser um the full size retails for 21 this is obviously a sample size i like the idea of an oil to foam cleanser i feel like that's probably really good for removing makeup good job i mean did you expect anything less for me drop something in almost every video um so i'm definitely not mad about this it's a good travel size cleanser who knows if we'll travel anytime soon but i'm in japan we both can't talk i'm excited about it i'm happy for it i'm fine but anyway that was my last product get it together girl all right on to my last item it is actually a full-size item which is exciting it's by contact skin it's a nail liqueur nail polish in the shade bodytalk which is one eight otherwise known as lacquer liqueur you can probably call it it sounds more it sounds better we should start saying that from now on not nail polishes they're gonna look at us like we're crazy i literally don't even wear nail polish to start with wear this one that one actually is really pretty it is pretty it's like a what would you how would you call this a muted dusty rose goodbye hello it does retail for 15 and this is the full size don't smell it that was about to okay yeah that's almost like it is a cute color but i feel like it might be muted out on my skin i feel like this would do better with like tanner skin or i don't know i don't know it'd be cute for you it's not really my my style i was trying to think of a hip word to say but i couldn't because we're not hip anymore i'm kidding yeah getting old just kidding um yeah nail polish all right so that was all the products in both of our boxes so now we're gonna give the bags a rating out of five so if we like something and we're gonna use it we give it a point if we don't like it not for us zero points and then i have a point for something that we'll probably need to try out before we can form a full opinion on so for me the brush is a point the mamoned face cleanser is a point the lip balm is a point and the coco cabana is a point and i'm gonna do zero points for this because i don't really use eyeshadow primer and i've already gotten this before so it's a four out of five ipsy for me that's good yeah i'll take it alrighty i'm gonna give a point for the lip gloss because it looks good on and you guys know i love lip stuff so i'm also gonna give a point to the lip mask i have to try it out but i'm really excited to try it out so two points zero for the moisturizer i can't stand the smell which i think has gone away a little bit but i'm probably never gonna use it one point for the cleanser perfect for traveling and then i'm gonna give zero points to the nail polish it is a really good item i just don't think this color is for me um but that's just a personal opinion as far as color goes it is would be a really nice item to get so i think that was three out of five yeah not horrible to be honest um i really like the bag itself this month but um i don't know it's i'm not like it's like fine it's not not blown out of the water by it yeah agreed i do like i think i like yours better than mine yeah i would well only because i actually might in the boo or the coco i might have actually picked yours over mine if i had like seen these on a shelf but i'm not sure but definitely let us know which bag out of r2 did you like i think this is the first time in a while normally we're like mine i pick mine but i feel like this time we're like uh i actually kind of like some things in
