hello everyone welcome to my newest tutorial in this tutorial i will try to model that pinner colors so let's start as usual with that let's start with the image plane go to top view press shift nv back load the image let's slightly offset and let's increase the transparency after that i will create cylinder change the orientation scale it also let's make the rotation segments 8 also let's turn off caps in addition to that i will put that cylinder into a side vision surface so i can see my shape better because when i turn off and on subdivision surface my scale will change and that looks okay let's turn off subdivision surface and put that out of that subdivision surface i also i will import the same image from the for the front view go to front view press shift and v back select same image i need offset my y let's do the same thing for the right view but this time i will need to rotate it like -90 after that i'll set my y so i need to check the front and the back of my object let's make this invisible select the front points from the top view and if i switch the right view i need to change it to left so the points will be in the front but i am gonna undo that because i will need some height segments like four will be enough now let's make it editable and start to scale some of the points like these ones now let's move this point because i will need space for extrusions and that looks okay also i will push these edges down let's turn off the plane select that point move that up maybe we can move this like here actually we need to move these points back because i will select these polygons and extrude them but for that i will select these bottom points because i will use symmetry so we don't need to use them select these ones press ctrl x root but now i need to set these polygons position and size to zero on the x-axis and delete them because i will use symmetry change to access to worlds move that point and move these points too now i will select these polygons right click extrude image because these edges should be sharper according to our shape so we will need these edge cuts after that extra thinner i will select line cuts and finish these cuts then i can double click on attach loop right click dissolve i will do the same thing here okay now let's put that object into a symmetry object but before that i will change my center axis enable center axis enable snap and move your axis some of these points it doesn't matter as long as the points is in zero on the x-axis now let's press alt select symmetry do that one more time but it's time to change the mirror plane okay now let's put that symmetry into a subdivision surface press alt select subdivision surface and check the mesh let's just go to top view so i see that we need to move these points down so that i will get a better curve here because the distance between them are not the same like this one to this one and this one to this one so i need to select them and move this down so you can see the effect also i will switch to slide tool move this point to match that curve okay looks good but i will need another look at right here because here needs to be really sharp so select them right click select slide press ctrl so now i will select these new polygons then i'm gonna move them up so let's check that out press q to enable subdivision surface and we get a really good surface that looks similar to our image we can make some another adjustments like these ones another thing is that our object it's is symmetrical on the x-axis but not in the y-axis as you can see the bottom is a lot softer so that means that i need to change the bottom let's turn off subdivision surface let's turn off that symmetry so i will need that symmetry that means that i need to change the order let's put that cinder under that symmetry move that symmetry up and put that symmetry under this one so now i can make that editable and still use that one now let's get rid of these patch cuts select them double click on them right click visual also that one select it select that dissolve now i will select this edge move it down so let's move these down i think this is enough but before adding these small details like these buttons i want to finish these these parts so first thing let's add a little cut but if i want to make a look at the shape you will change based on the edge flow to change that let's make it edge distance come closer to that edge loop then make it sometimes it is a little bit tricky just make your cut then change offset from here now i will select that edge press ctrl x root then scale now let's right click or go to selection loop selection select that loop right click split go to original one and delete these polygons i will do the same for that polygon group select that split go back then delete let's hide these for now so i can work on that one easily select these edges double click on them press t press ctrl then extrude now i will add loop cuts i will change to pick the proportional and add these loop cuts same thing for that object 2. let's make that first for that one let's let's look at here here and here so i can select that polygon group it loop selection and extrude or you can press t but press ctrl same thing here also i can delete these ones move this back i think that edge is too sharp well i will go back and select double click on that edge loop then slide that this down with the slide tool so let's make that extrusion down at diesel cuts also i need to make this object one group select them all press alt n g so symmetry would work now let's try to make the inside select that object press t ctrl something like that thanks vision move tool press ctrl extrude one more time after that i will add my loop cuts like these now for the lens glasses i will just make a loop selection select here then i will split them move them back switch to scale press ctrl make an extrusion move down front i will do one more extrusion but this time i will right click and say collapse as i would order my objects let's move that point but also i will select these ones but for that let's select these edges sold them let's move this back you may need to scale them let's turn off solo okay pretty good now let's move to the other parts now i can start add little details to that i will self divide my object to one not two two is too much and before that i want to change some things on my mesh let's first match here also i will push that point here so that one slightly and i want to move these up to get a little bit sharp now let's go to subdivision surface set editor to 1 also set the render to 1 then make its editable press c now i will select all the objects switch to points mode and delete these points because i will use another symmetry object but i will undo that because i forget to add a loop cut here so if i add a loop cut here i will get this kind of even a distributed polygons now let's make it editable leave these points and add these buttons to do that let's select these polygons i will make an x retainer then i will save sure points mod but press ctrl this is going to come right down to points and it says that there are six points so i will need a circle or disk with six points let's create a disk also let's set this rotation segments to 6 but i will rotate it so it will match the edge lobe of the object now all i have to do select these points select slide tool and try to match the disk okay now i can delete that disk go back to my mesh move some of the points let's select these new polygons right click exert image then i will push them down after that i will press ctrl and move them down after that so let's split these polygons go back to our original cylinder and delete these switch to edge mode double click right click select slides then press ctrl i will do the same thing for the inner okay let's see what we get select object group press alt select subdivision surface also let's put that group into a symmetry you may need to move these points but overall i think it's pretty good now let's select these polygons that is splitted just extrude them actually extrude down one more time after that i will make an extra dimension and i think i made a mistake especially here the top part yeah so to fix that i will select these polygons you can do that with selection second loop after that press 3 select field selection and select these polygons actually we can add this loop too also let's turn off these buttons to select these ones now i will scale down on the y-axis go back to left view and rotate them move these up now i need to re-slide these edges select slides but change your offset mode proportional also that one too now i will select these ones slide them too also i will push these points back also let's slide these two okay after that quick fix let's turn off turn on these buttons and select them all move them up but also i will need to scale this select the polygons in the middle then close selection and scale them to zero all right now let's take a look at the back first let's make an extrusion press t also press ctrl after that i will move solution move tool press ctrl and extrude let's also add these little cuts now let's switch to polygon modes loop selection select these polygons right click split this time i want these edges to be fully circular to do that i can switch to points mode select brush it's smooth mode but it's not going to give me a good result so let's try something else i will create a disk but before that i need to know how many segments i will need so i will select these ones switch convert down the points press ctrl switch to points mode it says 72 but i don't think i will need these extra edges so i will double click on them after that i will dissolve same for this one too so these ones too so that i will get a more even result let's recalculate how many points we will need it says that 18. so i go to disk set the reddish rotation segments to 18 go back to top view also enable snap and let's put the disk right here after that let's make these two objects one right click connect objects and delete now i can select these edges from both objects right click extensive we can rotate them and scale a little by the way i am trying to get that shape now another extrudes inner push them back press ctrl and extrude and then delete let's add some loop cuts here and here also rightish that's the enable side vision surface so i i need to fix some of the things like here that edge but i can select these edges and move them right here so i sharpen that edge let's do the same thing here and for the lenses i can cut that is once press ctrl move but i need to change the direction so let's invert the z direction minus one now let's quickly add these themes first thing i will switch edge modes select these themes double click on them after that i will switch to no not switch i will just select bevel but i will increase my subdivision to 2 so i can select these polygons in the middle something like that will be enough now let's select these polygons select the first one then press ctrl and shift then select the last one now i will right click select normal move and push these polygons down perfect but when i that move i change the position of the center point so select them then set their position and scale to zero so let's do the same things for the other seams after these new edges polygons i will lose that curve right here because of these new edges so let's try to fix that it's not gonna be perfect solution but i think it's gonna work but select this then right click select slides down remove these yes as i said it's not a perfect solution but i think it will get the job done as i will do the same thing for that site too let's check the mesh for the last time i think we get we got a really good thought all right guys thank you very much for watching hope you liked that and learned neptics new things and i'll see you in the next choice bye
