Yeah, 2 in 1. - Yeah, you just like... - 2 is better than 1. - TwoSet! Subscribe. - Yes, subscribe. Oh, by the way, check out our apparel. Guess what? I can't— Ow, my back hurts. Getting old. Alright, guys. You know... Sometimes when you make 5 videos a week, um... - You can forget things. - You think you would learn by now, but we're gonna start our audio now. It's behind the scenes. This is how it all works. Hello, welcome to TwoSet FM. - Hello, hello. - Today we're gonna talk about classical music. And today, the real question is: H a v e y o u p r a c t i c e d ? What's that? You haven't?? Sacrilegious. Today's video is about... Basically, we'll be reacting to... - humans trying to impersonate musical instruments. - Wow. I think maybe we'll try it ourselves. - Yep. For sure. Uh-huh. - 'Cause we are musicians, and... We're gonna try it ourselves, and then see if we can do it. Feel free to jump along. First one is this guy. "How To Do The Human Saxophone." Today I'm gonna teach you how to do the human saxophone sound. It's quite simple because it's only involving two simple steps, right? And step one is the voice. Step two is the shape of your mouth. - Okay. Sounds pretty simple. - That sounds pretty easy, yeah. - The, the, the voice and the shape of your mouth. Okay. - Shape of your mouth. - I hope I have the right shape of my mouth. - Two steps. Yeah. But. Should be fine. Step one. You gotta sound like a turtle making love. Video: So it will sound like this. Breathy voice. How does he know what a turtle making love sounds like?! - Is that actually what they sound like? - Yeah. For those that are younger than 16, please stop the video now. Dude, I'm on the wrong website. Let's see how he does it again. - Nah, that's way different! - Nah. Yeah. I don't know what type of turtles you're looking at, Dharni, but let's keep going. Dude, it does sound like it! But he changed it! Maybe he was warming up, - like a... engine. - He was just warming up. Yeah, yeah. He's getting into it. - He's getting into it. Yeah. - You know? Okay, first of all, how do you even get "saxophone" to "a turtle that's making love" sound? Like... Where, where is the... ...correlation here? How does he know - what a turtle making love sounds like?? - Oh my god. Hey, at TwoSet Violin, we're an educational channel. - Learn something new every day. - Yeah, this is something definitely new. Step two is the weirdest thing ever. So, all you gotta do is to have this weirdest facial expression, almost like a meme face, but not really. But you know, you gotta sacrifice some things for an amazing sound. So, it will look like that. What the ****?? Is this guy serious? I can't tell. Wait. What the **** is happening? Hold on. Is that right? My throat looks really tense. - I can't! - You can see the tension in my neck. Bro, I can't! Now what you gotta do is you just adjust the voice and the shape of your mouth, until you get a human saxophone sound. For example... Brett: Dude. I'm not gonna do that in front of the camera. - It kinda sounds like a sax, though! - I know. Dude, that was pretty good! You're just laughing. Dude, it's just like you're just like, constipated. Dude, it hurts my throat. There we go. And once you're able to do the saxophone, you can put it on a beat like... That's not saxophone anymore. - Dude. - It's like, a capella, whatever that is. Yeah. But! That was pretty impressive. Does it hurt your throat? Yeah, it hurts my whole face! Hey, everybody! Uh, it's Deke Sharon, I'm gonna bring you another instrumental sound today. This one, the flute. Dude. Holy ****, that actually sounded like a flute. - Alright, let's do it again. Close your eyes. - Do it again. Video: In this one, the flute. - I would almost believe... - It sounded like a dodgy flute. Yeahh! To make a flute sound, it's generally a very delicate sound. Sing, "ooo." Dude! How do you even do that? Okay. Now what you want to do is you wanna dump extra air. You wanna breathe out while you're singing. You know, classic bad vocal technique. Okay, so take that breathy sound... ...and you're gonna use that as the core of your sound. Sing through that "ooo." And make a very small opening. See how the sound changes a little bit when you're going... Sounds like a person. Sounds less like a person. Whoa! Did you hear that? What just happened? I think he made his mouth smaller? - Was that it? - Like, hohhh. I was trying to breathe out while doing it. And the next thing is to waver your lips a little bit to create that vibrato. Try it. Dude, how do I do that?! It sounds like... ...my nightmares. Oh my god!! - He's doing a G major scale! - That's insane. I can't do it. I think I flutter my lips too much, my lip's going numb now. Can you do it slower? Nah, I can't. Now, take your little hands, put 'em up here. Oh, that's, it's... - It's because we didn't get this. - Alright. It doesn't hurt to do the... ...kind of, weird erudite neck thing that flautists do. Video: Like, why do they do that? Okay, now, last little bit. Attacking the sound. Hear that little "thu" sound? It's almost like you're saying "thu." Say "thu." Put the waver on the end. I start doing this. Alright, you ready? I'm gonna play, um... - Morning, by Grieg. - Mmkay. Dude! All right, guys. I think that's enough. This is pretty crazy. Can you guys do it? Let us know in the comments below what other sounds. Accent like button. - Oh, my god. - I feel like the only thing I learned today is... - ...the sound of how turtles make love. - Yeah. Please like and subscribe!
